I had a reservation with fox with confirmation number nexp4eb78b to be picked up at 11:45pm on september 13th at sfo airport. My flight was delayed and delayed a second time when we go on the flight, the sfo train was then also delayed where I wasn't able to get to the rental counter until roughly 2:15-2:30am sep 14th. When I got to the counter I was told the reservation was canceled as I was considered a "no show" for unpaid reservation and my car had already been given away to somebody else. Your policy is 3 hours and although it was coming close I was within that time frame and my reservation already canceled and car gone meaning it was done well before I even got to the counter and well before the 3 hour time. I then had to go to a different rental company as a walk-in since fox had no other vehicles for me to rent besides a van and a high end 2 door convertible which do not work for my trip. As a walk-in and minimal choices I had to then rent and being charged about $400 more than what I would have with fox and my original reservation had. I was and am still extremely upset with fox rental over this as it cost me a lot of extra money, time and frustration as it was bad enough getting delayed 2 hours to arrive at 2am coming from the east coast where it was really 5am for me. I received no call, text or email of this cancelation as well and would have thought at least some form of notification would have been sent to me.
