Fox Rent A Car review: Car rental

I am writing regarding my Fox Rent A Car reservation booked through Priceline, Trip #373-865-203-96, Fox Confirmation #FFX0763EDF.

My Priceline reservation showed a total cost of $260.32. However, Fox ultimately charged me $446.12, which is $185.80 more than the amount shown on my Priceline reservation.

I did agree at the Fox counter to prepaid fuel in the amount of $45.68, and I am not disputing that charge. However, even accounting for the prepaid fuel, there is still a significant difference between the Priceline amount and what Fox charged me.

I would like Priceline to review the additional charges, particularly:

• Vehicle License Fee – $131.96 ($32.99 × 4)
• Drop charge – $97.28
• Any fees that may have been duplicated or incorrectly added

I also want to document the condition of the vehicle I received. The exterior trim was completely missing on one side of the vehicle and was coming off on the other side. The vehicle was embarrassing to drive in that condition.

More importantly, the air conditioning did not work properly. I was driving from Phoenix to Las Vegas in August, so adequate air conditioning was extremely important.

I booked this rental through Priceline based on the price and reservation information Priceline provided. I am requesting that Priceline review the difference between the $260.32 reservation total and the $446.12 charged by Fox and provide an appropriate refund or adjustment for any charges that were not properly disclosed or authorized.
