I will be returning from an overseas assignment for the military, and I had my Ford F-150 ship to Germany and now I am unable to ship it back. I have been working with Customer Service on this issue, and it feels like something changes or more is needed to obtain a permission letter to ship the vehicle back stateside. The Ford website is complete Trash! I was not able to upload any of the required documents and customer service only answer was to fax it to them (it is a digital world, and we are still limited to fax). After multiple attempts, I was given a one-time email to use and now because the insurance says Ford Credit Corporation instead of Ford Credit, I need to have that changed and resubmit everything and maybe then I will get a permission letter to ship it back stateside. Well I am beyond frustrated and considering just stop paying the monthly note and let Ford figure out how to get the vehicle back to the states. But I will try to move forward with this process and either sale it to a local dealer and never work with Ford again or work and get the changes that is being asked and never work with Ford again. I will ensure my military family in arms know that this process is one that they may have to deal with and prepare any and all for these types of issues when dealing with Ford.
Recommendation: Change of Duty Station and it is overseas...Don't buy, have or deal with Ford!
