i shopped at food lion today and never seen a mess like this. i bought several items including meats and upon my arival home found that the chickenbrust had water in the package, the porkloin was slimy. i tried to call the store with no avail. called the coorp. office and then the health department. well, i will see what comes out of this. but this is a health issue and how many people buy this stuff and are not aware of this? i really hope prince george health depmt. will check into this nasty situation. i also rang the bell at the meat counter becouse the chicken on sale was not out. well, i guess the meat person was out to. he or she never came to the front of the counter

LoL... she put an "MD" after her name. Yeah right. You can barely type out a legible sentence, and were unaware that the "water" in a package of chicken is in fact, chicken blood.

Go back to school, "Dr" Evi.

You are a total [censored]. The "water" is chicken blood. Why not take the poor quality product back to the store. If it's off quality, I'm sure the store would refund your money. Plus, the pork tenderloins are prepackaged by an outside company and not processed at the store.

I don't know about the pork loin, but every package of chicken breasts I've ever purchased had liquid in it. If it was frozen, it's mostly water, but it's also chicken blood. It's probably nothing to worry about.
