Firestone Complete Auto Care review: Air conditioning repair

I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird That I went to get the ac fixed at Firestone Complete Auto I had taken my car there several times for the ac system to be repaired. The first time I went there was to get my ac working they said the entire thing had to be rebuilt so I waited several days. After that it lasted a few weeks then I had water all over my passenger footwell they said that the evaporator core broke had broke and it would be $700 because it was to replace it because it was not under warranty so I went ahead with the repair and I waited another 5 days. After they repaired it they said they had to “force it in” A few weeks later it happened again there was water all over the passenger footwell again. So I took it back waited another 4 days and the day after I didn’t have cold air coming out of my air vents

I took it to a different shop that had done some previous work for me a shop that specializes in older cars they did the a courtesy quick check and told me compressor outer wheel was not spinning and the clutch was not engaging and said that my car has a switch that turns off the compressor when the refrigerant levels got too low. Checked it and sure enough the refrigerant level was at 10 psi. He said that the car now has a refrigerant leak which it had not had before the 2nd evaporator replacement. I called them they said I could bring it back Thursday morning when I brought it they said they did not have anyone to fix it unitl Saturday and asked if I could leave it with them I declined. I have spent more than $2000 at this shop and my ac keeps breaking over and over. I feel like I am getting scammed because I am a younger person with an old car. The only good thing about it is that everything is now under warranty but I do not have the time to keep bringing my car back every other week.
