Accounting late fees with automatic payments refusing to change date due
Fingerhut corporate office called and I was transferred again to India or Phillipian office where agent ridiculed me saying when I asked to speak to supervisor. "Oh we got a live one here" laughing. Never resolved issue of failing to change due date from 1st of month. Automatic payment scheduled for fifth of month for $50.00. Every month for 5 months charged late fee of $40.00 thus my $50. payment became a ten dollar payment and over 180 dollars added to bill with interest also additional/. I only owed 89. made last two payments called and called still refused to change date to fifth the same date I had for 2 years prior .
Claimed loss: Though balance was and still is zero and card should have been closed as Fingerhut changed to Fetti . Advantage card sent for collections it was a zero balance , with no new purchases.
Desired outcome: Acknowledge paid in full with no late fees as of 6/2022 absolutely ruined my credit when I spent months building it with payments on time and way over the amount due. 5/2022 had credit available of 592. available of 600.00 dollars.

I called to verify my information to only get a person on the phone that is outsourced from another company that does not understand English. I gave my new address to them and still won't ship to new address. This is a terrible way to treat a new customer I will contact everyone on the planet earth whom I can file a complaint with until it is resolved I can promise you this! Date of delivery was 09/26/2024 to incorrect address!
Desired outcome: Ship to new address I have already paid my dues up front

Incompetent, overcharging me,
I have had my Fingerhut/Fetti for about two years. My first purchase which was a clothes steamer/iron. This item was over $90. Didn’t deal with the issues so I threw it away. In November and December I made several purchases. They sent me products I didn’t order, I made some returns and they sent me 8 labels. When I got to UPS drop off the labels were incorrect. I had to demand I would call corporate office but they were refusing to transfer me to a manager. I have spoken to 2 different managers this week and still didn’t resolution. They were telling me they would give me discounts because of their errors. I have called everyday and my balance is increasing. I do not like being disrespectful but I am over 60 years old and I have never experienced the level of incompetence, dishonesty, basically taking my money after return. How in the world when you return items and promised discount my balance continues to increase. But I will not stop until I speak to the people who are supposedly in management.
Claimed loss: Money, time, and the anxiety is unreal. I am not exaggerating but from Monday until today which is Thursday I probably have spent well over 4 hours and my problem is still not resolved.
Desired outcome: I want my money returned to me for orders that I did not make. I want everyone that I cancel to reflect on my balance

A judgement from collection agency
On or about dec of 2021, I was taken to court over a Fingerhut purchase, that was made in 2018 for 2200 +, that didn't belong to me, it was made by someone with same name in New York. I tried to tell the rep from collection agency, but right in front of me he went through all the paper he had and changed address. Which in my opinion was very deceitful, which he knew I had no idea what the purchase even was and still don't. I've disputed it in credit file. But I just discovered y'all have a lein against my property for almost 3000.00. That does not belong to me, someone obviously stole my identity and you all clearly don't care about any hardships consumers face as long as somebody pays and that's not right to make someone that can barely buy food pay someone else's debts. And first of all I was told at the hearing it was 2200 now it's almost 2900 in 2 years, if someone couldn't pay 2200 how you expect 2900 to get paid. It's just a shame I'm gonna have to file bankruptcy to get a judgement removed that shouldn't be there in the first place. If you had an ounce of dignity within your business you'd remove this ridiculous lein without all that having to be done
Claimed loss: 2900.00
Desired outcome: I want this removed from my credit file and the judgement relinquished
Fraudulent billing practices
My names is Charles Sizemore I paid my account off on May 6th, 2021 and less then a month later an account was opened up and said so owed $468 in June of 2021, why in the world would I pay $513.00 of in May of 2021 and open a new account, I wouldnt, this has been on my credit report and I have bank records supporting the fact that it was intact paid off, and Midland Management clearly shows the new account being open up in my name, if this is not handled in a timly fadhion, I promise you I will contact The Attorney General of the state of Minnesota for the fraudulent billing practices that your company is in practice of, how many other customers are you doing this too?
Desired outcome: These remarks removed from my credit report
Refunds and worthless appa
I submitted my payment 09-12 on their app, and it never gave a confirmation. So I submitted again. Then it took out twice. I emailed them the same day about it and received In email stating that I would get a refund by card Is within 3-5 business days or through my bank within twelve to fourteen business days. I paid with my card so I should have already received my refund by this day of september twenty second. However, I just got off the phone with fingerhut and was told that I would get my refund within thirty days. That was nowhere on the email they sent. There was nothing stating that that Was how long I was going to have to wait. So not only does their app no longer work and constantly logged me out. But now they're stealing from me, lying to me. And not refunding me within the amount of time they stated in writing.
Desired outcome: I want my money back. Immediately.
Returns/credit reporting incorrectly/customer service/collections
Back in may 2023 I ordered 2michael kors purses which I was sent the wrong purses so I sent the purses back & paid $33 postage myself because the didn’t send a packing slip with return label with the package so I put acheck in with the purses for a payment I owed for a previous order ! Which the check for the payment cleared my back within a wk give or take a couple days ! So about a month later when I recieved a call from the collections department at Fingerhut saying I needed to make a payment on the purses cause they were never returned I was shocked I kept asking the girl if she could understand what I was telling her that I knew the purses were returned & I knew they were recieved cause the check cleared the bank & she just kept saying I needed to make payment on the purses I thought maybe she couldn’t understand what I was telling her because she wasn’t offering to help me get to the bottom of the situation she just kept saying I needed to make payment I asked to speak to a supervisor she put me on hold then came back saying supervisor is unavailable her English was broken I’m not saying that to be mean I just didn’t think she could understand me so I told her I would wait til someone in charge could speak with me so I was on hold then she came back acting like a supervisor I could tell it was the same person & she said the purses were never recieved & I must make a payment I was frustrated after an hour or more of this I hung up I waited til I cooled off called back it automatically sent me to collections it was either the same person or someone else with broken English I explained the situation & was told the same thing I need to make payment I asked then if I could speak to someone in returns & was told I could not I had to make payment at this point I didn’t know what to do or say I new I wasn’t goin to pay for these purses that were between $800-$1000 that obviously someone has stolen I just said I’ll contact the police & make report or a lawyer I was livid then I hung up a few days later I called & was told the purser where recieved that the returns department hadn’t input it in computer but since I was contacting an attorney that they could no longer tell me any information but they could take a payment on the previous order I still owed for which were a pair of puma shoes so I paid $25 on the shoes then I called back a few days ago to pay off the shoes which the woman said was $248 which the shoes were under $200 & I had paid 2 payments of $15 & a payment of $25 on $55 she said well you have late fees which I don’t have late fees so she took those fees off & I gave her my card info but she said she couldn’t accept a credit card because my account was 90 delinquent which that is not possible I’d nnn making the payments & there’s no way so here I go again asking to speak with supervisor which I could not but she said she would take my number & have the supervisor call me back & I have stil yet to recieve a call from supervisor & they have reported me to credit bureau & had dropped my credit score over 100 points I worked hard to get my credit score back up to where I could buy things on credit my score was close to 700 now it’s barely 600 I’m at my wits end I don’t know how to fix what they have done to me!
Desired outcome: Fix my credit score & admit they were wrong & let me pay off my bill & I’ll never order anything from them again
Charged more then agreed to
I purchased 2 items Jan 2022. A Bissell vacuum and a 4 slice bread toaster. I have attached info. I owed $380.00 as of January 11 th 2022. I signed up for auto pay for the 14 th with the choices provided. Now 18 months of auto later they say I owe $692.45. Customer service said it's my fault for making my payment late. They service agreement says I have a 24 day grace period. I have made 18 months of auto payment ranging from $33.99 to $46.99. It makes no sense for my bill to be almost double!
Desired outcome: My account be zeroed out and closed
Customer service
I was trying to place an order. But my address is wrong: I called customer service to change my address and the representative asked me some security questions. Some questions she asked I would of remembered I suffer from some memory lost. The representative was so rude to the point I just told her to forget it and I hung up. Please help me with this issue.
Desired outcome: I hung up the phone and disabled the app
My bill / nautica air mattress
I'm disputing my bill of $308.46 due to I had informed Fetti customer service reps before my June bill was due that my 20" Nautica Air Matress no longer would hold air. I was given 3 different numbers and was told the resolution team would handle my situation which didn't get handled till July 27th 2023. I was given the money for the air matress but it don't reflect on my bill. You gave me $207.99 but you also still want me to pay $308.46. I would like this corrected.
Desired outcome: I would like the late charges taken off the bill as well as the charges for the air matress. I would like to be refunded the corrected amount.
My product I purchased two months ago was not what I thought it was.
I purchased a necklace in May 2023 a
18K Gold Over Sterling Silver Personalized Heart Name Necklace it said on the Fingerhut website. However, after receiving the necklace, two months later, the necklace turned black and began to look gold plated. Fingerhut representative told me that they could not take it back because the 60-day return for merchandise expired. The company continued to charge knowing that the merchandise is not real.
Desired outcome: refund
and they continue to sell the necklace on their website.

Fingerhut Review: Decent for Credit Building, but Watch Out for High Prices and Name Changes
I gotta say, Fingerhut is a pretty decent option for folks who are trying to get their credit game back on track. I mean, they offer a bunch of stuff that you can buy even if your credit score ain't so hot. And yeah, their interest rates are pretty dang high, but that's just the price you gotta pay for taking on that kind of risk, ya know?
That being said, I gotta dock 'em a couple stars for a couple reasons. First off, they charge way more for their stuff than other places do. Like, we're talking 20 to 50% more. That's just straight-up greedy, if you ask me. And secondly, they recently changed their name from Webbank/Fingerhut to Fingerhut/Fetti or whatever, and that messed up a lot of people's credit scores. Like, now it looks like we all got a brand-new account, even if we've been using Fingerhut for years. That's messed up, man.
So here's my advice if you wanna use Fingerhut to build your credit: keep your purchases small, so you don't get hit too hard with those high interest rates. And always, always compare prices online before you buy anything. You'll probably find the same thing for way cheaper somewhere else. And if you don't need it right away, just save up for it. Trust me, you'll save yourself a ton of money in the long run.
thank you
FingerHut's Poor Customer Service and Lack of Communication: A Deaf Customer's Frustrating Experience
I recently had an experience with FingerHut that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. My name is Laura Urrutia, and I am deaf. I ordered two products from their website: a Square Plastic Folding Table and an Achim Cottage/Country mat. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and forgot to update my shipping address when I moved from South San Francisco, CA to Folsom, CA. This was my fault, and I take responsibility for it.
As soon as I realized my mistake, I tried to contact FingerHut to ask them to reverse the shipment and send it to my new address. I tried emailing them and using their online contact form, but I never received a response. I explained my situation twice, but I never heard back from anyone. I even asked for a signature to prove that the package had been delivered to the correct address, but I never received any confirmation.
I suspect that the package was delivered to my old apartment and that the current tenant accepted it. However, I have no way of knowing for sure. I wish that FingerHut had been more helpful and communicative throughout this process. It's frustrating to feel like I'm being ignored and that my concerns are not being taken seriously.
To make matters worse, I received a bill for payment a month later. The bill included the two items I had ordered, even though I never received them. The total cost was $163.83, which is a significant amount of money for me. I refuse to pay for something that I never received, especially when I tried to contact FingerHut multiple times to resolve the issue.
Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with FingerHut. I feel like they did not take my concerns seriously and that their customer service was lacking. I do not have any proof that the package was not delivered to my new address, but I know that I never received it. I hope that FingerHut will take steps to improve their customer service in the future and ensure that their customers are treated with respect and fairness.
Beware of FingerHut: A Credit Score Trap
FingerHut, oh boy, where do I even start? This website is a real doozy, let me tell you. At first, it seems like a great way to build up your credit score. They offer all sorts of shiny trinkets and gadgets that you can buy on credit, and it's all so easy and convenient. But don't be fooled, my friends. This is a trap.
The longer you stick with FingerHut, the more you realize that they're not really looking out for your best interests. In fact, it's quite the opposite. They're like a black hole, sucking you in and draining your credit score until there's nothing left. It's really quite astonishing how much damage they can do.
And don't even get me started on the guy who runs this operation. He's a real sleazeball, let me tell you. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. And when his contract ended with FingerHut, all of us poor suckers who had accounts with them got our credit scores dinged. It's just not fair, you know?
But that's not even the worst part. They'll give you these temporary credit line increases, and then force you to use them. If you don't, your credit limit will go back down, and that'll reflect poorly on your account. It's a lose-lose situation, really. And the credit bureaus will take notice, and before you know it, your credit score will be in the toilet.
I really hate FingerHut and everything they stand for. This guy who runs the show is obviously a big-time schemer, and he's just tricking people left and right. It's really quite despicable, if you ask me. So do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from FingerHut. Your credit score will thank you.
FingerHut Review: A Total Rip-Off with Hidden Fees and Faulty Products
I gotta say, FingerHut is a total rip-off! I bought some stuff from them and made sure to pay more than what was due every month. But when I checked my account, I saw that they charged me a whopping $30.00 late fee! Can you believe that? And get this, they only credited back 3 payments even though I paid more than what was required. What a bunch of crooks! And to top it off, they were also charging me for something called Safeline fees which I had no clue about. I'm pretty sure I never signed up for that, but they won't give me my money back.
I thought FingerHut was a good place to shop, but boy was I wrong! They'll take your money and cheat you out of it with high interest rates and hidden fees. So, if you're thinking of buying something from them, make sure to keep a close eye on your account. Don't let them scam you like they did to me.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the stuff I bought from them. The fridge I got doesn't work right. The bottom part freezes everything so you can't keep anything cold. And the top part has ice build-up that you have to defrost all the time. And the humidifier? Total waste of money! It doesn't do anything except blow out air. It doesn't even clean the air! And guess what? You can't return anything either. They'll give you every excuse in the book as to why you can't return it.
So, take my advice and stay away from FingerHut. They're nothing but a bunch of scammers!
FingerHut Review: Broken Product, False Promises, and Poor Customer Service
So, I just got a product from FingerHut and it was broken. My husband and I returned it and the return label said that the shipping fees would be credited in full to my account. But, to ship the product, it was $190! I even called customer service and he told me it would be credited to my account. So, we shipped it and got our exchange, but it was still chipped and scratched! Every time I called about the $190 being credited, they gave me the run around and said there was no record of me calling. So, I emailed them and they had the nerve to ask if I would accept a $50 credit that they can't credit the full amount. I immediately told them no. Why would I accept $50 out of $190?!?! I sent receipts of the shipping fees and where it stated on the return label that it would be credited. Last time I called them a couple nights ago, the lady kept blowing my questions off and would not transfer me to someone else. They are now ignoring my emails! I just don't see how a company such as this one could treat their customers so poorly and not stick to their word! I am going to pay this off ASAP and I will never purchase another item from them. I would not recommend anyone doing so! I will not stop blowing up emails and phones until I am credited the full amount of the shipping fees! I have never been treated so poorly.
Fingerhut.com Review: A Total Rip-Off Scamming People into Buying Products and Damaging Credit Scores
I gotta say, Fingerhut.com is a total rip-off. I thought I was getting a good deal when I signed up for their Fresh Start program. They give you a little bit of credit and if you make your payments on time, they report it to the credit bureaus and your score goes up. Sounds pretty sweet, right? WRONG.
I bought something for $180 and made all my payments on time, just like they said. But when I paid it off, they reported my account as closed to the credit bureaus. That means my score took a big hit because it looked like I had a closed account. And to top it off, they didn't even give me the revolving credit they promised. Instead, they said I was approved for another $180 credit. What a joke.
It's obvious that Fingerhut is just trying to scam people into buying their products. They make it seem like you can "graduate" to a revolving credit line, but really they just keep giving you more credit so you'll keep spending. It's a total scam and it's not fair to people who don't have great credit.
Honestly, Fingerhut should be ashamed of themselves. They're basically committing fraud by false advertising and taking advantage of people who are just trying to improve their credit. I'm definitely going to leave reviews everywhere I can to warn people about this company. Don't waste your time or money with Fingerhut.
FingerHut Review: Low Credit Line & No Increases - Save Yourself the Aggravation
I just closed my account with FingerHut and let me tell you why. They gave me a credit line of only $250, which is not enough to buy much, especially if you're into electronics like me. I even sent them a couple of emails requesting a larger credit line because I wanted to buy a 55 inch TV, but they told me they don't accept credit line increases. I don't think they review accounts three times a year like they claim on their FAQ page because if they did, they would have noticed that I didn't use my credit line for almost a year.
I got tired of waiting for a credit line increase and decided to buy a TV locally with my credit card, which has a limit over 10 times what FingerHut gave me. When I told FingerHut that I was going to close my account if they couldn't give me a credit line increase, a woman called me and told me the same thing about not accepting credit line increase requests. So I told her to close my account.
She then told me that they accept Visa and Mastercard, but why would I use my credit card to buy from FingerHut and pay more, wait for them to ship it, and hope it arrives undamaged when I can just go to a local store, pay a lot less, and have it that day? It just doesn't make sense.
Overall, I would advise you to save yourself some aggravation and just get a credit card. Let FingerHut keep not taking credit line increases and lose money while you enjoy your purchases that day.
Fingerhut Review: A Total Scam! Don't Waste Your Time and Money!
This company is a total scam! I can't believe they did this to me. I got $700.00 in credit about a year ago and I used it all up and paid it off in full. I thought that would be good for my credit score, but boy was I wrong!
I waited two months to order anything and when I finally did, I got a message saying my credit limit was "under review" and to call them. So, I called them and they told me they were reviewing my account for either an increase or decrease and that I should wait for "24 hours". What a waste of time!
Last night, I checked my account and saw that my credit limit had been decreased to $100.00! This ruined Christmas for my kids and I'm sure my credit score will go down because of this. I immediately emailed them to shut down my account, but they told me to call them with questions. What questions? They can't answer anything and just repeat the same thing over and over again.
I'm telling you, don't apply for Fingerhut! My husband started with a limit of $300.00 and they bumped him up to $1200.00 because he didn't pay it off in full. All they want is the interest and late payments and their items are way too expensive.
I found a credit card with lower interest rates and cheaper items at Walmart. Don't waste your time with Fingerhut!
