We are looking for other users willing to sue Etsy for their unfair contract signing and unreasonable suspensions, most of which come without even explanations. It is written on the contract with sellers, innit? True, And it's just that the keystone of a lawsuit against Etsy… we are not under Fascism or Nazism, and a contract discussing work relationships should be democratic and reasonable for all parts involved.
Etsy behaves like they are not in a democratic state with laws protecting workers and people in general, but in a self proclaimed dictatorial "Etsy state" we're they can make the rules, no matter if they go against all the protocols in defense of workers, companies and entrepreneurs.
We would love to create a go fund me campaign and connected petition to find as many contrihbutors as possible for a class action against Etsy for their discriminatory unreasonable practices that are sometimes considerable as instigation to suicide, and we have readen many horrible situations like the one we encountered.
Please start sharing your experience also here and if someone else here wants to join I will share informations on the Camoaign and class action.
We may get at least a refund For the huge loss of money, time and moral damage this company did us.
It so mislesding that Etsy sells itself as a "human and sustainable" platform and then gives the shoulder to the big companies and low quality high volume sellers instead of protecting the small, finest quality sellers that made the fortune and were (WERE!) the soul of this vintage and handmade marketplace. Now let's delve in our case… we have 5* reviews and sell for the most 99, 6 % authentic vintage items, and a very little part of customized and handmade items… Etsy shutted our shop for good, and more "funny" they have put it in forced vacation mode so the buyers don't get worried about the shop "disappearing"…
They just demonstrated they are slaves to the big companies, other than HUMAN and SUSTAINABLE….
They shut our shop because of some rings We made out of vintage buttons (authentic ones) taken from broken garments that otherwise would have just no use (or they could have just been sold as substitute buttons)… Of course, also if we believe it is totally fair and within the circular / recycled market values to make such objects, we would have removed those listings and never list such items anymore if they just gave us a second chance… but they didn't, and We have more of a suspect on the reason, here some proofs.. they also removed a totally authentic pair of Chanel sunglasses, with absolutely NO REASON if not bending their knees in front of the brand's legal department going around reporting shops without a reason (there is an unreasonable reason: the item was authentic, but they hate circular market and they demonstrated this in the last few years with tons of lawsuits against companies similar Etsy, but with more courage and willing to defend their sellers…and this is also why they shutted us: cause they don't care if a seller is right, they prefer avoiding from the start problems with big companies… and we would have understood if they just removed our items and explained the situation to us… but destroying 2 years of work of a 5* shop and leaving 3 people without a job NO. It is not understandable, and they don't even think we deserve an in depth explaination!
But we have ourselves one: probably they promise to the brand lawyers/reporters hanging around vintage marketplaces to report listings,
to shut the shops disturbing them instead of discussing with their sellers and trying to mediate and protect them…. and Inrepeat, I have proofs, they reported and removed also an authentic pair of Chanel shades, and I have seen Chanel is use to these practices, hav a looked around the web… with the difference that the real real, for example, protected their sellers instead of taking Chanel's part…. by the way, evidently the brand legal department reported our listings and Etsy instead of just asking to remove (we surely would have removed and never list anymore similar items) decided to shut our shop for good, destroying 2 years of hard work listing on this website…..
It is evident that they are just doing so if the big brands report, cause I have been reporting REAL counterfeit items (Cartier sunglasses) which are filling the first three pages of the Etsy website if one searches for Cartier sunglasses, but they never removed them after months… and those are clearly AUTHENTIC FAKES, Sold as Cartier for 70€ when the actual value is around 4K, and they're very hard to find but those listings have like 70/100 PCs for each model… clearly fake also the quality, easily visible in the pictures if one is trained and a connoisseur… so Etsy leaves these cheater in 1st page of searches without a problem, but instead our rings which were described as artisanal pieces made out of buttons, never trying to mislead our buyers (you can see some review with photography of satisfied buyers that purchased them) were enough to shut out shoo for good.
Probably when a big brand reports they ensure them that the seller will just get thrown out of the site to avoid expensive lawsuits, as it happened last year between Chanel and The Real Real.. but The Real Real had balls to go through the lawsuit demonstrating basically that Chanel was lying about the fact the items were fake, and just trying to give a stop to circular market and recycled which takes our a lot of money from their pockets.
It is so sad that Etsy sells itself as a human and sustainable platform and then gives the shoulder to this brands instead of protecting the small sellers that are the soul of this circular market. We understand if one sells counterfeit items, but in our case we have 5* reviews and only authentic vintage items, and the only error we did was making rings out of branded buttons, which in our opinion and also in that of many satisfied buyers were also cooler than most of the actual rings made by the brand! Reviews with photo are available to see! And products are available to see too, described and titled as artisanal items made recycling authentic parts from the brand.
This is disgusting and a class action would be the best thing to do for all the sellers like me.
Will start a gofundme campaign and a petition to start this, follow me and help if you're having similar issues. Reviews with photo are available to see! And products are available to see too, described and titled as artisanal items made recycling authentic parts from the brand.
We just opened our shop and found it as "on vacation" then checked our mail and found a message saying our shop was suspended for good, and that there was no possibility of an appeal on this decision.
It is absurd, dishuman, disgusting.
I thought of suicide for their exploit.
I don't think their contract is of any value, it is just another an attempt to intimidate some right claims against them, but when there is a business relationship within 2 parts, it is not civil, not educated, nor human, non good adjectives can describe a company saying they can take a decision about a business partner (call it dependent, call it workers, call it whatever but it is a business relationship in the end) and literally kick them without an explanation. This is what they make clear in the contract, but this is what should be the focus of a class action against them, they should write a contract that is protecting both parts and not giving them the full powers of a dictator and their "workers" NO RIGHTS at all, not even to get an explaination when they are suspended.
This is not a game, Etsy Trust&Safety.
You are playing with real businesses, families, people.
Somebody would kill himself for your medieval way to treat partners.

Desired outcome: Class action against Etsy for unfair, dictatorial contracts, unfair business conduction, shutting w/o a reason not an explaination businesses relying on them instigating entrepreneurs to suicide.

Count me in.

I've had a shop up for approx. 2 years, since the pandemic and its actually under my legit business name. I sold custom designed tshirts and just recently switched to some tumblers because I was stagnant with my shirt sales. I also sell handmade items from home. I am a 5 star seller, but have only had 17 sales because i'm fairly new to etsy. I've done absolute nothing wrong. I work full time so this shop is a part time , when i get around to it gig. I use Etsy shipping labels. I purchased a tumbler bundle ON ETSY and it said i could sell the images commercially. Just received a letter from an attorney accusing me of copyright infringement on an image thats being sold / redistributed all over the internet and the registration number he provided is not listed on the US copyright. gov site. Etsy just restricted my sales and put them in reserve for up to 90 days. How can they do this considering I bought the images on their site? I'm pulling out. I dont need my business tainted by etsy.

I am a seller on Etsy. At times, Etsy just issued at some problematic bad customers full refunds without my authorization. Etsy's case ruling is totally bias towards the customers not the sellers on Etsy which is also their customers. Just because some of the customers have issue and make a complaint and Etsy just issue a full refund. This is a horrible policy which needs to change!.

I’ve had something similar but they refunded the customer because their bank details seemed suspicious. The customer then would message me saying why did I cancel their order and I’m like I didn’t Etsy did. Etsys respond, sorry but the customer can reorder the product. The customer never did…. So I lost customers and left a bad taste in their mouth with Etsy just shrugging it off like oh well.

ETSY is full of identification badges and cards for every government agency you can think of. They deactivated my collector's army lapel badge because "somebody might use it for something illegal." what about the tens of thousands of actual cia, dea, immigration and every other government agency real sized identification badges they allow on their site. They are the badge people will flash, not some lapel badge using insignia not seen for decades. They dont apply their policies in a honest and transparent manner, they just pick items out of the neverneverland and make a federal case out of it. Scully and Mulder never flashed a lapel badge when talking to people, identification badges are wallet size because they are designed to be seen from a safe distance. It seems like their deactivations, suspensions and closing of shops are based on whims, not actual policies. If you have a policy of no identification badges you remove the identification badges, not the collector's lapel pins.

Folks,

Obviously this happened to me as well or else I wouldn’t be posting. Etsy cost me over $45,000 when they shut my shop down and almost bankrupted my family. Now…would I like to sue them, yes…would suing them do any good, no. Folks they have everyone’s concerns wrapped up in a nice little package called terms and conditions. They currently have thousands of mine in reserve once they closed my shop, until the end of January, and I didn’t know they could do that because I didn’t read the terms and conditions. Now that we’ve covered that, the question I want to ask everyone is how do we help each other? As I’m sure all of you know, gaining customer awareness and product interest is the biggest challenge. How can we support each other in that regard….keep in mind, everyone needs to move on and reestablish their business as a lawsuit would be pointless. The best revenge we could take against them would be success. Have any of you opened up shops on one of the other platforms such as Shopify? I have opened up 2 new shops on Shopify and will be launching in January. Folks in full disclosure, I’m gay and my shop supported the LGBT community which is why Etsy shut it down. If you have an issue with me or the nature of my shop then there is no point in talking. I’m looking to build a support group with people who have marketing, business, social media, and application knowledge. I’m a can do guy and I have no intention of letting Etsy win by rolling over and playing dead. My background is 2 degrees in business, I’m a licensed custom broker. I currently am a Sr. Leader at a major supply chain organization. I have the know how, I just need and want to build the right team. I want to build a sounding board as day-after-day and night-after-night I’m plugging away alone at this and would like to have others join me. I would be happy to help anyone with my knowledge if we have others willing to do the same. My current Social Media platform is around 100k followers collectively. Though not a vast follower base, I’d be willing to promote your businesses for free if you would promote mine. Please reach out NansUniqueShop4Men@gmail.com If I receive enough interest, I’ll build a blog platform for us all to work and communicate through.

I would like to join any lawsuit against Etsy. A reserve was just randomly placed on my payment account whereby 75% of my earnings are withheld until the purchase is shipped or 45 days (whichever comes first). I make a lot of custom work that takes 2-4 weeks to complete and cannot afford for these funds to be withheld. I am not in violation of any Etsy policies, Terms, Conditions, I've never failed to pay the thousands in fees each month. No one sent me a notice that this was going to happen.

No reason was given for the reserve, but it happened within a week of a customer filing a complaint about her perfectly beautiful dog urn that she was unhappy with (I offered a full refund upon return of the urn, but she refused to pay the $12 shipping). This transaction was under $200, and Etsy ultimately closed the case after the customer pursued a refund with her cc company; so I assume it had something to do with that? I dug into Etsy's policies about reserves and turns out they don't have to give you a reason at all -- can happen at any time, to any shop owner. I've reached out to Support many times and they are useless. This is my livelihood, not a hobby, and the reserve is crippling my ability to run my business -- and, incidentally, line Etsy's pockets.

Please include me in any lawsuit. Than you.

I was just permanently suspended as well. I was apparently in trademark violation. When I was notified of such, I complied and did NOT make new listings. I also called etsy and spoke to them asking what I can do to make sure I am not in violation again. I worked very hard for my shop only to have them take it away. Im seething mad right now.

I was just shut down too. I apparently had trademark violations (which I did not know nor did I recreate it once I found out). I was shut down and told I was not eligible for appeal. I have worked very hard for that shop and was shut down with out any discussion. This isn't the only issue I've had with them being unfair

I have been selling on Etsy since 2012, over 20,000 sales and nothing but 5 star feedback. My account was permanently closed unfairly. I tried to appeal, I provided evidence to support my claim. I had proof of fraudulent activity and they still screwed me. Please let’s do this! I will go in with anyone that thinks we can move forward. Kimkatnik@gmail.com

I have been with etsy since 2016 and now they are deactivated listing and the violation do not match my listings.

I feel they are targeting my shop.

Are we doing a class action lawsuit.

Etsy left a bad taste in my mouth. They suspended for life after 10 years selling on their with no issues or problem's my account no warning. They said it was for Brand infringement for using "Lycra name" on swimwear and Fabrics. I tried hard to resolve this with no luck over Covid. They were beyond RUDE. No Customer service at all. I will never want to sell on there again. They suck. I was a "Lyrcra" Brand Vendor for 35 years selling off old product and fabric. I Sent proof but the disregarded. Just wanting for a class action suit. Another Fascist Woke company no thanks!

I am most likely the most well researched and well informed individual on the network of ecommerce snakes consisting of etsy, scamazon, thiefbay, paypal and others.

I write this today in support of class action lawsuit however knowing what I know about who runs etsy, who runs scamazon and their pizza loving networks do not expect any justice. your monies are long gone and already spent on pizza parties.

I am an expert on online ecommerce fraud and the numerous tactics required to conceal and cover up the fraud. I have been monitoring this phenomenon across many industries online not just craft shops but any platform sites like etsy, scamazon, theifbay as well as middle men and payment processing companies.

I have found them to be all connected, all very shadowy, very secretive, very mysterious when it comes to trying to get info about who runs these NOTORIOUS RISK DEPARTMENTS for these companies.

The risk department gives you the impression that they are there to spare the companies from risk or damages however it has been my painful discovery that the only risk management going on at the top of these companies are the risks associated with stealing funds from one clients seller account to cover the payouts or settlement funds on other client accounts and the risk managers real duty is to figure out the best way to conceal and coverup the organized theft and fraud of these companies by using many forms of plausible deniablity.

I will admit they appear to be masterful at what they do however when one becomes aware of the undeniable universal traits of parasites a.k.a. middle men it is very easy to reach this conclusion.

One thing working against getting this truth out is so many good people are in wanton sheer denial about the real level of corruption and how well organized these parasites are. most simply cannot believe that their middle man is anything but fair, gracious and honorable.

if only it were that easy.

YOU MUST LEARN that almost everyone of these senior executives at these companies are networked in and hang out in the bahamas with someobody who had their own island and I think his name was jeff epstain or something.

that last sentence may get this post deleted because nobody really wants to entertain the ugliest of truths we just seem to want to line in denial and call truths conspiracies and call fake news truths.

respectfully,

The Parasite Detective

Please please PLEASE count me into a class action lawsuit! My email is dreamweaver198213@gmail.com….They closed my account for a misunderstanding when my bank account was hacked and I had to update everything, I didn’t realize a mistake was made on my end, only after emergency surgery, I check my emails and they closed my shop, didn’t even give me a chance to fix the situation. I explained this to them, but their decision was final. They reopened my shop only to put me in reserve! I have been through hell for the past 90 days and 20 days from my shops reserve being over they find something else to penalized me for just so they can extend my reserve ANOTHER 90 days!? This is outrageous, unjust, and very hard on small businesses. My business survived COVID shutdown but now ETSY is putting the last nail in the coffin to my business, I have worked years to establish. I have been selling with Etsy for 4 years now and have over 2600 sales with almost 500 five star reviews and they want to do this to me? I have never had an issue until this year. I don’t know what changed but this isn’t fair to any of us.

Sincerely,

Amy Weaver-Hupp

What I wrote to Etsy when I closed my account & took my designs & business elsewhere.

Discrimination of my shop by Etsy. I work too hard to design, and provide for Etsy to keep singling me out over designs hundreds of thousands of people here are posting in their shops. You can Google items that's not even handmade here and Etsy is ok with that. Yet I spend hours at times days designing and as a new shop with 0 new visitors and like 5 listings I get in trouble and get my shop fees held for 90 days. STILL had to pay listing fees before closing my account but had my listings removed. I pay for Corjl and I design using Lunapic, Ipiccy, and corjl as well as printify just the discrimination of my kids invite was solely targeted by Etsy for removal saying I violated their policy which is total bull because you can type L.O.L girl, ANY Disney characters, Cocomelon and whoever else and hundreds of thousands of listings come up for everything from party invites, to chip bags, juice box designs, shoes, clothes you name it but yet I'm being discriminated on for actually making a kids invite using 2 characters I paid for YEARS ago! Besides there are sellers on Etsy right now who actually sell these same characters FOR designing in jpeg, pdf form AND PNG. I don't have time to be losing money behind Etsy because they don't want to see people be successful here so I'll take my designs and business elsewhere and let my tik toc followers know we are boycotting Etsy. I'm definitely in, & I know their customer support reply will be scripted & total bs. I can be successful anywhere, their loss. At least this way I will be able to keep more profits in my pocket without them charging listing fees and other bogus fees and tryna hold people's money and shop hostage.

I had a Etsy shop for about 2 weeks I just started to make sales and got what seemed to obviously be a fraudulent negative review. I reported it to Etsy because the person claimed they didn't get their item even though it was a digital purchase and my activity showed that it had been downloaded by them. That's the originally said that there was nothing they could do because the person didn't violate any rules, which seems ridiculous so I requested for them to look at it again and sent a picture of the fact that the person had downloaded the file. The next day around the middle of the day when I logged into Etsy it said that my account had been suspended I got absolutely no notice about why I was suspended and it told me I was supposed to receive an email, which I didn't. I had to message them through their website then I got an email basically stating that they were going to be investigating it and they would bump it up the flagpole, and that it could take up to 7 days before I hear back. So once again there is hardly any information given, the communication is deplorable if you can even call it communication, and now my account is suspended and I don't even know why. This also pulls your items from the sales rankings from what I've read, which means any traction I gained is now gone and I'll have to restart once this is over. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced with a company, and the fact that you don't get much information makes it even worse. How are they still in business if they treat their sellers like this?

I’m based in the uk and have a successful greeting card business with some listed on Etsy. I have had the account for three years, with 5 star reviews and no issues. I recently created another account selling uk made cards, 6 months ago, of a different style, yet despite the 5* reviews and fast, cheap postage they have put a hold on my funds. This is criminal and unjustified. I believe they are profiteering from sellers sales under a false guise. For me this is a small amount, just hundreds in reserve, but I refuse to allow them to unjustly hold more of my funds and to keep forking out for costs and shipping. Some people have thousands in reserve... Plain wrong. So I can now no longer add free or £1.00 postage (a big reason my new business was thriving - good quality, low price and shipping) Since I have upped the postage to a minimum of £3, so I can send the item tracked, I have not received any orders. A £2.20 card with shipping, is a good deal. A £2.20 card with £3 = an expensive card. No takers. This is WHY it’s NOT viable for many to ship using tracked services - as some commenters oversimplify - Etsy are undermining my business model - 5* reviews should be SUFFICIENT evidence. MIGHT I ADD, I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ADD IN A PROOF OF POSTAGE code TO ETSY as proof of shipping, given over the counter at the post office, but no, this is not an option when it easily could be! Who’s missing out here? Me, and Etsy. They are crooks - this is greed, not necessity.

Etsy doesn't practice evenly, fair policy enforcement. They deactivated some of my listings, but there are 100s of the exact same listing on other shops. I really want to see them pay for their unfairness, discriminatory practices and threatening approach towards Etsy sellers.

while i don't use etsy for anything i do know some things about these types of things.

depending on the company that holds a IP they might also have a copyright and or patent on a design/look/brand. this means they can set the terms for them and it might look unusual. in the past they might have looked the other way with people reselling their IP if it is authentic, but with so many knockoffs and fakes they had to step in and enforce their IP to protect it. so you guys may have fallen into a patent/copyright/IP that has a no resell clause in it unless by authorized retail locations or venders.

it is sad that it happens to people selling their unwanted authentic stuff. the fake sellers ruin it for everyone who is doing honest [legal] work.

I am so down for this.

I'm a seller on Etsy, and they removed all my handmade led products because they use batteries, but they did not remove the other seller's led products that used the same batteries as mine. I just woke up one morning, and they said I violated Etsy policy, and it took them months to tell me it was because my product used batteries. I was heated. I asked why the other sellers are selling their led battery-operated product, and they claim they don't target sellers, and their system will say who to remove. Now I'm stuck with all these parts, tools, and products and lost a lot of income. Etsy is biased from small sellers to the larger sellers and will not punish any of the larger sellers for violating their new June 5, 2022 rules. I don't even sell or include the batteries with my product. I even received an email from Etsy reinstating my listing, then they removed them all a month later, which was very frustrating and confusing. What am I supposed to do with all these parts and supplies now? All the shipping material I had stored up?

Removed all the other seller-led battery-operated products and or reinstated hand-made led products. It is not fair that the larger sellers that bring Etsy 1000s of money daily are able to remain untouched while the little seller like myself are targeted and removed

This is a long awaited idea, well past its conception. I had been selling herbs on Etsy and then they changed their policy. So I wrote a small book about the herb and sold it on Etsy. Etsy than got really angry and set me up and lied that I was selling something I was not supposed to. I believe they were discriminating against me because I use and promote natural products and they connected this with my website and my books about natural herbal products. My account had been suspended for over 3+ years. After about the 3-years I appealed to them to lift my suspension and wrote them an apology. On Ausut 1st, 2022, they responded with the following -

Hello,

This is Marlo from Etsy’s Content Moderation Team. Thank you for reaching out regarding your account status.

Our team has comprehensively reviewed your response, as well as your account history and information on Etsy, and we have determined that we are unable to reconsider the decision made in this circumstance.

Going forward, we will be unable to respond further to requests to reopen your account. Please do not open any new accounts as they will be closed without notice.

Thank you for your attention to this, and we wish you the best in finding the appropriate venue for selling your items.

Best,

Marlo

Boy, you would think that after 3 years a simple apology would suffice, but they are unforgiving, even though I was a 5 star seller.

I am more than willing to participate in a class action against Etsy and wish everyone pursuing it the very best of luck.

Etsy just deactivated 2 of my listings stating they are in violation of their policy. I chatted with Etsy support and that was escalated to the "department" that manages those decisions. I received an email from Etsy stating only that the listings are in violation of their policy and their decision is final. However, The 2 listings in question are for paintbrushes of which meet their "supply or tool" policy. Note, I have other paintbrushes listed and other Etsy shops are selling the same paintbrushes. So, with that I am very unclear on what the violation is, how to fix it, or how to prevent this from happening again. It sounds to me that someone was in a bad mood or Etsy wants to reduce competition for other shops?

I just had the same thing happen to me. I’m a 16 year seller on Etsy and have never had a prior run in or problem. “Chad” from Trust and safety decided that my original Ganesha artwork was hate speech because it was sold on a pillow and was disparaging to the religion. I called them out on it because numerous other sellers had Ganesha pillows posted that weren’t removed and even being sold from India. When I pointed this out and that the cultural insensitivity on this issue is primarily regarding anything that touches your feet (socks, shoes, rugs, mats etc) they then responded by removing half of my shop in an act of pure retaliation. I then pointed out that they can’t apply rules to one person and not another as it’s a blatant act of discrimination and malicious targeting. I just got a robot response.

Their trust and safety department has literally taken all trust and safety out of etsy. It is a department gone completely rogue on a power trip refusing to behave rationally, fairly, with logic or prudence. There are no second chances. They will not admit mistakes and engage in blatant revenge against anyone that calls them out. I got nothing left to lose since my shop is pretty much dead now. Trust and safety is clearly being lead by a team of people with NPD - narcissistic personality disorder.

I'm kind of in the same boat, I don't recommend any one to Etsy as a seller. I started about a year ago no fees ever month of June hits boom random 225 charge from Etsy, Then a 53 dollar charge for what I call "Hidden Seller Fees." It stated it would be free but it is far from that. Screw Etsy man.

Bait and switch from Etsy. Fight for return while paying interest on bogus charge. Never rec. correct order. Horrible rubbish sent as sub. I've filed with BBB and FTC. I'm shorting their stock, and leaving comments on Yahoo msg. boards about this. CLASS ACTION SUIT.

Bait and switch used on Etsy. Selling items they do not have. Refusing a refund. Instead without knowledge or permission, sends a sub. total garbage replacement.=FRAUD! I will sue, complain, message board, social media, and short their stock. This is NOT legal. CAVEAT EMPTOR. THIS IS WAR.

Etsy had removed one of my most profitable listings for not being handmade. It was a chair that I hand make from bourbon barrel staves. They said I bought them manufactured and resell them. Could not be further from the truth. I hand craft each one from barrel staves. When I tried to appeal they told me the decision was final. They did not even want to talk to me about. They have refused my request to discuss the matter. What is worse is I was actively running paid advertising for this listing. They just ruined money I spent on this by deleting my listing.

Etsy overcharged me for the listing fees. Triple insertion fee for an item listed and sold in the same month, and this is just one example. Etsy does this continually because Etsy knows that Etsy gets away with it. I have monthy invoices to prove it. Etsy support is of no help, and my complaint to BBB falls on deaf ears, Etsy stated they were doing this in accordance with Etsy rules. Go figure! This is very disappointing and Etsy is going to continue this way until stopped somehow. What a way to make a profit! Multiply the overcharge by number of sellers, well you get the picture.

Wow, I totally agree with how inhumanely Etsy treats its sellers! I had a five star shop selling great and got shut down for selling amber colored jewelry with an automated email! They are horrible! I appealed but lost the appeal with no consideration for my hard work and the good standing of my shop. I even had loyal customers who filed complaints but Etsy DID NOT CARE. And they are keeping my money I earned 600$ for 180 days! They are the worst type of DICTATORS, so UNFAIR to great sellers. I will gladly assist in a class action suit if somebody wants to start one. Please contact me. I AM INFURIATED at their callousness for the sellers who put them where they are! Contact me at Currybalt@aol.com.

Hi, us too - 1200 item inventory with only 28 amber earring/ring listings and we're booted for life and are banned from downloading our valuable hard work and 12000 photos. I spoke with an attorney yesterday, there is a clause in Etsy's terms of service that we cannot sue - (section 11) we are not employees nor contractors nor customers. The regulation is not yet in place to go after these online monopolies with any legal standing, according to the attorney. This is my soul (sole) income and now I'm strapped with $40k in unsellable inventory. They disable us from moving to another platform - Bonanza won't have anything to do with me as a result of Etsy's red flags! They've deactivated and zeroed out 100% of all listings, active, sold and reviews. I have to manually go into each listing and copy each photo in order to salvage this hard work... that's 12,000 photos and a ruined year.

Might as well add me in this class action lawsuit against Etsy. It is time to sue these [censored]! I am so angry with Etsy and with a seller who claims to own a small jewelry business on there who just scammed me. He said that I was going to receive my package in a few days but then he said that, "It's not his fault that a bunch of "hackers" were stealing mail in Athens..." Hmmm...very suspicious lies. He also modified the order tracking number and the estimated delivery date and Etsy is allowing this kind of unethical and unprofessional behavior on its website?!?!?!?!?! I am beyond frustrated and disgusted by Etsy's lack of ethos and fair practices, as well as a nonchalant seller who's an absolute liar and a scammer! Will never buy on Etsy again!

I will never encourage anyone or recommend anyone to buy from Etsy again. As I am currently waiting for an item that has not yet been delivered, and it is past due the estimated delivery date...I am getting this gutsy feeling that Etsy is probably scamming another buyer once again :((( And in this case it is me. If that is the case, things will definitely escalate if I don't get my package delivered within two days past the est. delivery or a full reimbursement (refund) from Etsy. This is definitely unacceptable, intolerable, and unethical on behalf of Etsy's way of acting towards its customers and even honest sellers who don't want to scam their buyers. However, generally speaking Etsy is a REAL FRAUD and I accidentally fell into their trap before going to the complaints board website and reading all of Etsy's bad reviews. Had I known better, I would have NEVER EVER purchased anything from these scumbags and would have saved me a REAL HEADACHE! Lesson learned...Never buy anything from fraudulent companies like Etsy!
