eDreams Failure to properly disclose on baggage fees and overcharging customers

I recently purchased airline tickets for myself and 2 additional family members through this service. I have pictures of the online ordering screens on their website which do NOT disclose that the airline I chose includes 1 complimentary check-in bag per ticket. In fact, I was mislead to purchase bags for each passenger because the site showed "0" bags with a solicitation to purchase bags. I only discovered the issue after I had completed the booking and returned to their website as it shows a total of 6 bags per leg of flight. I have tried calling their "VIP" support line multiple times. I have filled out a complaint form online and its been 12 days without a response. What we have here is a complete failure of proper disclosure by this business. Then, they make it virtually impossible to reach someone with authority to refund the excessive baggage fees. I have provided the company with screenshots clearly showing the lack of proper disclosure but their call center (I believe in India) can't do anything because of their policy to never refund baggage fees. This seems like an intentional scam designed to steal money from customers.

Desired outcome: Refund of excessive baggage fees charged amounting to $536.34

eDreams Payment error

There was an error while paying for the booking i made.

My booking was to fly from Milano (MPX) to Nur Sultan (NQS) and back.

Overall ticket was 999 with the prime membership, fare insurance and normal insurance.

I even added a bonus code to get a 10€ discount, the code was APP10.

Result is there is no ticket available but the money got taken from my bank anyways.

The ~100€ taken from eDreams reappeared quickly in my bank account after being taken but the remaining 875€ taken from the airline no.

I want a refund already.

Desired outcome: Give me a refund or my booking.

eDreams Refund under booking # [protected] (name :DALAL LIAD)

Dear All

please check the mentioned booking # [protected] from Ben gurion ( ISRAEL) to Milan (ITALY),

since we received confirmation for this booking # but once we arrived to the ari port and to the check in counter we were told that his name DALAL does not appear on their flight manifest and that we can not complete the check in , so the only option they gave us was to pay again for the ticket on the same time ( on the spot) in order to board on this flight,

so we actually paid twice,

please check at your system - since we apply now for a refund from your company ,

eDreams Buchung nicht bestätigt, Betrag für Tickets abgebucht

Flug am 23.05. über Internet von Paris Charles de Gaulle nach München Franz Josef Strauss gebucht.

Keine email mit Buchungsbestätigung erhalten, Betrag für die 2 Tickets jedoch abgebucht.

Kundendienst nicht erreichbar über Telefon, Chatpartner gibt an Problem nicht zu verstehen.

Auf Nachfragen bei Air France wurde bestätigt dass keine Buchung erfolgt ist.

eDreams No invoice sent after 10 day of payment and several submitted requests for it on their website

After I booked and payed invoice from Belgrade to Vienna, and immediately asked for invoice(announced is up to 3 days waiting for it) noting happened after couple days. So I asked and asked almost everyday for invoice, by myself and chat room, and again nothing happened...

Is this really happing in 2022? No email for complains, no normal contact service?

eDreams ticket refund

on nov 2021 i book a ticket from doha to manila via sharjah and dhaka. airline was cancelled the booking at the time of boarding. from the day 1 we are followup with edreams to refund the amount. and they given maximum time period of 6 months to complete the refund.

now it's more than 6 months still the ticket amount not return back.

eDreams Flight tickets refund

Last year, bought 3 plane tickets via edreams, a few days after Swiss cancelled their Prague to Geneva flight did request a refund. After spending time and efforts + high phone bills, a year after there is still no refund from edreams who shared that they are waiting for Swiss to reimburse the ticket. Secondly, edreams shared that they will not reimburse cost of check in luggage's. Called again last night and you get the walk around from their Indian call center. Do yourself a favor, stay away from edreams. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of full fare SWISS tickets.

Bought 3 tickets from PRG to GVA via SWISS and 24 hours after the purchase via edreams, flight were cancelled still no refunds after more than 12 months since SWISS canceled their flights, eDreams also shared that they will not reimburse the luggage fees and booking fees without reasons. eDreams are criminals making a leaving with the money stolen from their customers. Could Interpol or the FBI stopped them once for all. Too many calls, emails without answers = not acceptable. This is not an unique case.

eDreams are criminals. Could credit cards like VISA or AMEX & others block those eDream thieves from any transactions for ever. Bad image for SWISS and Lufthansa group as well as cooperating with eDreams tarnish their images as well, when calling eDreams call centers in India they blame the airline for the lack of refund. I personally worked for SWISS and they are not part of a CRIMINAL organization like eDreams.

eDreams No confirmation email, no tickets

Hello, last night - 09.05.2022 I bought 5 round-trip tickets Sofia-Milan through your platform. Leaving fo Milan on 6.06.2022 and back to Sofia on 10.06.2022. Although the payment has passed, I still haven't received the any email with confirmation or thickets. I have a sreenshot of my reference number, but I can't chesk anything with this number. eDreams Money taken from my account and not refunded

Ref [protected].8.5.22 Edreams Flights

Hi I booked a flight of which was cancelled and my account was debited three times. I phoned customer care was told flights are not available regardless confirmation and my money will be refunded. Having phoned many times the company has hung up on me and after speaking with an agent today they do not even have a trail on notes.

This company is a fraud and needs to refund me £626.84. I have sent over 20 emails documented with no response.

eDreams Cancelled my flight due to a technical error

I booked a flight to Melbourne 2 weeks before my trip and made payment to eDreams. The next one or two days they emailed me saying that they cancelled my flight booking due to their technical error. They did not give any form of compensation and the flight tickets went way up. I had to book another way expensive tickets WITHOUT the meal and baggage and had to waste one day because the slightly “cheaper” tickets at that point of time were available only about 1 day later.

eDreams payment went through but no confirmation email with the booking reference.

I just made a booking for 3 people and paid with iDeal. The payment went through but the page did not proceed afterwards. When I check my bank account, the payment was successful but I haven't received a confirmation email and I don't even know my booking code. Tried to call the service centre too but it is impossible to talk with somebody without knowing the booking code. Very frustrating. Hope to receive my booking confirmation asap.

eDreams Booked for a flight but refused to board

booked for a flight but refused to board then paid for my own spot.

After that I tried to contact edreams to get my money but Edreams insisted my ticket is totally fine.

Desired outcome: ticket reimbused at least the ticket i paid for myself that day.

eDreams Airplane ticket purchase

I have used the same application for airplane tickets since 2019, and for this purchase I used it again. After I performed the search, edreams came out as the best offer, and I have choosen them...I entered all the information they asked

for, and it looked like I have purchased the ticket, the money was deducted from my account immediately, but I have never received confirmation email of purchase, and the only message I have received is of sort, "the purchase was not made" try again later. I have contacted my bank, the money is indeed deducted from my account, but like I said, no confirmation email was ever received. I tried online help, but no luck. I wish I read these reviews earlier.

Desired outcome: Return me my money, total of 219,83€

eDreams Error fares

My partner and I booked a flight from Toronto, Canada to Amsterdam yesterday at a price of 355CAD roundtrip per ticket (including taxes). E-dreams put the price of the tickets as a pending charge on my credit card and we provided all our personal information to book the flights. We both took time off work after booking and booked hotels. We understood this price was cheaper than usual, but assumed it was a seat sale which is why we continued with the booking. Unfotunately, EDreams notified us today that the tickets cannot be issued and this is extremely disappointing. I had previously booked a flight with Edreams in the past and vouched for this company to my partner so I was extremely upset when the flights were not honored. I understand this was a error fare; however, if your site is not working properly, you cannot advertise flights and allow them to be booked with a pending credit card charge. This is unethical. I believe Edreams needs to honor these prices - even airlines that have error fares honor the prices because they understand this is THEIR mistake, not the consumers. Please correct this error and provide us with our booked tickets. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to giving Edreams more business in the future.

eDreams Flight

I booked a flight from Vancouver to Las Vegas for a wedding.

Less than 24 hours before I flew the booking was cancelled by eDreams with them citing “Technical reasons.” The new flight price is 3 times the original. I called them up and they admitted the flight booking was due to a “glitch on their end”. Not only could I not book another flight because there was still a hold on my card for the money for the original flight, but the new flight price was outside of my price range.

I had already booked a hotel in Vancouver and in Vegas and made arrangements to be a guest at a wedding.

The airline offered no support and rather than being human in their customer service they act like robots without listening, they simply repeat their scripted lines over and over.

I have now missed 2 hotel bookings, am extremely stressed and I will likely miss the wedding which I have been planning to attend for 2 years, all without an apology or any support from the airline.

Desired outcome: Apology, refund and compensation/goodwill

eDreams Invoice not received

It's been over a month since I purchased a flight through your travel agency. I was supposed to receive an invoice but eDreams failed to send it to me even after repetitive chats on the phone and via chatbox when I was always assured that I should receive it in less than 24 hours. Booking reference: [protected]. Now, after several phone calls, nobody answers my phone call The company I work for will not refund my money for the flight if I don't send the invoice for the flight. Send invoice or refund. I will sue you if the problem is not solved.

eDreams Flight Ticket

Hi

I just booked a flight ticket from Bangkok to Krabi (return) for 3th June. They have already deducted the actual $59.99 from my account for the ticket. However, they again deducted 2 more times from my account which is unacceptable. I would like to request edreams to kindly stop debiting from my account and pls would appreciate it if you could credit $119.98 back to my account. Because i don't have money to spend in Krabi for hotels and other expenses.

Thanks. I want my money back as soon as possible.

eDreams Prime membership

My girlfriend tried to use edreams prime for free for a week and then canceled her payment. The money left her bank account anyways so we figured we could call and ask for a refund. After two days...another amount was taken from her account by edreams for yet another prime. This is not acceptable mistake and I see people being scammed left and right. There is a lawsuit coming your way.

eDreams Over charging

my apologises for lateness of this but I have been unwell .

my wife purchased tickets via website on 22mar2022 for amount of $470.56 and a fee of $14.11 that was fine but on the 5th april a further $89.99 plus fee of $2.69 was deducted from our credit card without our authorisation or any contact from us or from yourselves.

our card ends in 9264.

can you please explain and reverse charge.
