What a bad delivery company tie up
I have ordered my dream bed in, the Berkeley Black and walnut along with 2 bedside tables.
After 30 days of wait, I got a call from the delivery company (DandI Solutions - so called world class deivery and assembling) on one friday and said it will be delivery Tuesday. I was eagerly waiting for the delivery.
Unfortunately there was some delay (not sure what happened), and got a call on Monday saying that it will be delivered on Thursday.
I got a message on Thursday at 9.20 from the delivery van driver that, delivery will be between 10 and 2 (this is UK style message).
That time I was away in GP Surgery for appointment for my daughter and returned home at 10.04. Even I told the driver that, I will be bit late and will be in home around 10.10.
But the driver who doesnot have enough patience to wait, left before I reach home. Now the super dooper delivery company DandI saying that, it can be delivery next week only. Do I really need to wait for next tueday and taking off, open my house door for them and wait from 10 to 2 all day?

i need to make a complaint about my order being messed about wih dates delivery men arriving saying they have no tools and walking out of door my order no is 164 L 797 JACKIE OHALLORAN 9 ASCOT HOUSE LONDON . andre the manager iseant to be looking in to this is am till none the wiser wht is going on PLEASE PHONE MB [protected] OR [protected] if you read the order you will know why i am furious sleepig on floor at moment.URGENT PLS

Copy of complaint letter to Dreams Plc (xxxx's hide personal info)

Dear Sir / Madam,
Re: Order Number : 198 ¦ H ¦ 226
I have given your company every opportunity to avoid this formal complaint, but the lack of customer service, and more importantly, the lack of refund of my money paid, has caused me to take this route. You may wish to save the time of reading the rest of this letter by immediately returning the £xxx.xx I paid to you on 2nd January 2012, against which I received a defective product on 27th January 2012, which was returned to you on the 15th February 2012.

The pertinent events are below.

2nd January 2012, order xxxxxxxxxx placed at your xxxxxxxx branch. £xxx.xx paid on my credit card.

- Bed and mattress delivered 27th January 2012.

- 28th January 2012 “1”
Bed unpacked and checked, ready for assembly.
Missing parts recorded and photographing of unbelievably damaged condition of leather elements of bed.

- 28th January 2012 “2”
Phone call to your customer service to attempt to arrange same day replacement of damaged and missing parts. When “Samuel” advised this was not possible, even though the warehouse is less than 20 miles away, I told him to cancel my order, arrange collection and refund my money. After many minutes of being placed on hold, he confirmed my money would be refunded.

- 15th February 2012
The bed and mattress collected. (SRET reference : xxxxxxx)

As at the date of this letter, no communication has been made to me to discuss this matter, and more seriously, my money has not been refunded.

I now formally inform you, that if my £xxxxxx is not refunded to me by Friday 9th March 2012, I will instigate all options available to me as a Consumer.

With the above events taken into consideration, you probably won’t have any concern as to what I think of Dreams Plc, but if you do, feel free to send a questionnaire to me.
