Dollar Tree bathrooms

I've used the bathroom in this store about 4 times. Each time, it's filthy and unkept. No paper towels, no seat covers, no running water, and papers all over the floor. Oh, for some reason that I can't discern, there is liquid soap available ?Completely disgusting. I talked with my cashier and asked her where she goes to the bathroom. She said she used the breakroom to wash her hands. I'm trying to find the Health Department that is in this area. I've talked to other customers, and they feel the same way about the bathrooms. What's wrong with the management?

Dollar Tree store management

My name is harley dirga,
I was a employ at the rutland vt store in 2016 and I left because my maneger joe bullied me and was verbally rude. He infront of customers said to other asociates that I stunk was not doing my job right and when I went to the second maneger I was told to not say anything but that he would report it and when it got worse after that I told the second maneger that I was quiting. Now in 2019 I applied at family dollar a complete diffrent business yet owned by the same company. I cant be hired because joe took and flagged me after I reported to my other maneger and I have no clue what was written against me but now I can not support me or my young child because he retaleted against me for leaving a stressed enviorment and bulleid. I never wanted to go against dollar tree I just wanted him to not speak ill of his workers to customers and other asocaites about that persons work ethics. If you could please answer me id apprecaite very much since this is the second timme I have tried to make contact. [protected]@hotmail.com

Dollar Tree bullying of employee

Oct 18, 2019 approx 6pm I witnessed Eunice, assistant manager verbally abuse + employee, Janice. Janice wanted to try a slipper on, Eunice refused and attempted to grab the slippers out of her hand and kept repeating "thats disgusting"
Anna the cashier also was saying "thats disgusting"They were bullying Janice, now that is disgusting Dollar Tree.

Dollar Tree no stocking for months and very disordered

I have been going to this dt for some time now, lately every time i go there is a mess in every isle, everything is not orderly where is to be. Plus i have been going specifically to the coffe section specifically to buy syrup sweetner they sell a zero calorie and they never have it, always the isle is empty looks the same every time i go each week to check if they stocked. I always just to buy 3 or 4 at a time of different kinds but now cant wvwn buy anything because its not stocked.

Dollar Tree appearance of the store

First and foremost, let start by saying that I am not one to post complaints. With that being said, let me start by saying that this store is the most unsanitary, dirty and unorganized store I have ever been in. Floors are filthy, items strewn around the store and in the aisles, boxes constantly in the aisles that are left unopened for days, nothing is ever in the right place and bathrooms are horrid. Trash outside the store is all in the parking lot and trash bins sit full for several days and overflowing into the parking lot and store front sidewalk. This is dangerous for people. Someone is bound to get hurt if they haven't already. Please take a look at this store before it's too late.

Dollar Tree cashier

Cassie was the cashier and I asked her to help me and she walked away talking about me to another cashier she has stringy blonde hair and no teeth I will never go there again I was insulted by her this was in palatka Florida I don't know what made her be so ride to me I also had my kids with me this is unprofessional for a business dollar tree should be careful of who they have working for them this is bad for business

Dollar Tree professionalism not

I am writing because I have witnessed several times several of the managers threatening the staff that they will have any family member who come into the store arrested. As I have also witnessed the one store manager, jodi threatening and being mentally abusive to one particular staff member who seems like he/she may have some life issues or mental disability cause she have to take some time to do things while working. I also noticed how unprofessional she was to customers such as myself when I asked when something was she got very mean and said that it is in the aisle and when I asked her to show me she said ; it is right there, cant you see it." I find it very wrong that you employ a manager with such an attitude. I am going to spread the word about her attitude and let my family know that she also threatened any family about coming in. I feel if I am spending money or just browsing that you may be spending money and hopefully you will take care of the manager at that store. She is very lucky that I do not have any family working for her cause I would be on the phone with the police and a lawyer. You as a corporation should be ashamed of her professionalism and behavior. Best of luck if you lose customers and employees cause of her. You should be ashamed!

Dollar Tree camaras

I was shopping in your store on Hylan Blvd and Midland Avenue, Staten Island ny, Store # 7038 on October 8, 2019.. I had my wallet in my hand and as i was walking around, I dropped my wallet. I immediately went to the manager of the store and asked her to put on the camaras to see if or who picked it up, because there was a woman walking trying toohelp me a little too hard to find the wallet. I was then informed by the manager that the camars do not cover the store at all just near the front door. That to me is such an unprofessional business decision. Had you had camaras in the store I could have seen if that lady had found the wallet, which she had turned in empty as soon as I left to the store, as I received a call from the manager within five minutes of leaving. I had just come from a trip and had over $300.00 in that wallet. You have 3 schools right there with Jr and high school students in the store all day. It will be a great loss for that store when the word goes around the schools that they have no camaras in the store that whoever wants to go to the back of the store and steal whatever they want, they can.. That would everyday be a very big loss for the store. however that is how i felt when i lost all that money due to no camaras.. As a very big corparation these things should be thought out a little better, for me to lose that kind of money was hard and set me back weeks. I have a husband with stage 4 cancer that spread to his bones now and to take a hit like that was hard, but i knew that lady picked up the wallet and had your camaras been working to watch the store I could have received the money back. Dollar Tree employees

I was in the Dollar Tree in Sand Springs Ok the other day and as I was leaving I noticed two employees outside smoking and as a drug counselor I knew it was a joint. I waited until they went back inside and so did I to see if I could get names and I did they were Joni and Christina. I don't feel like this is very professional. I will not be returning to this location as long as I see them working there I will go to the Dollar General. I don't know if the company does drug tests but if not maybe they should because if they are doing it than who else is doing it that works in the company. Very very unprofessional!

Dollar Tree horrible - customer service by ezra

Ezra (not sure how to spell his name) gave horrible customer service on last night (10/17/19 @740p). Please check the video tapes. Ezra was checking out another customer when I got in line, and waited a few minutes. After finishing up with the previous customer, ezra looked at me... Took out his closed sign and placed it on the checkout... And said "im closed maam!" ezra, didnt give me any welcome greeting, like hello or anything. He just slammed that closed sign on the counter... After I had already waited in line patiently. Thank god that erza's coworker or mgr (maria) was standing right there, because she immediately told him that he have to take me. Please make sure that ezra is properly trained, before putting him in front of the customers. Note: I am a trained observer on customer service, since I am over all of corporate memorial hermann healthcare customer service. Ezra must do better!

Dollar Tree unprofessional attitude from store manager

There is nothing worse than hearing from a store manager that the store they are working at is on the GHETTO! This comment has been made by the store manager, Amber, more than once. And stating to her employees that because she has been in retail for 10 years qualifies her not to ever have to close the store or unload a truck. This only causes employees and customers not to want to shop in the store, or work for her due to unfair treatment. Someone needs to retrain this manager on how to conduct herself with people.

Dollar Tree asst manager

I was in the Adel Ga store on Saturday October 12, 2019 I heard the two Asst Manager arguing the one white Asst Manager I think I heard the black manager called her Davinna she came in there starting with the black Manager raising her voice acting crazy I heard the black manager tell her Davinna get out my face an go about your business the white girl davinna comes yelling you see what U got to deal with this the black girl told her you should stay out my face an stop lying so much, it seems like every since Tammy left the store have went down hill, know I see this young black manager in store all time working a lot of hours keep store kept clean well manner but every since they have all these new people in there straight to Hell, I went back in store an see the White girl Davinna still there but the black manager gone I hear she quit if anything the Davainna the white manager should have been fired for the way she carried on an inside that store and and she provoke that black manager to snap on her

Dollar Tree store is an absolute mess

I stopped in this dollar tree every week for the last three weeks. It's a mess in there. They've got merchandise stacked up in boxes in the isles everywhere. Some of the shelves are empty. Some boxes are stacked on carts setting in the isles. They look to be very short staffed, only seeing a couple of women who are always checking out customers. No one is ever unpacking merchandise. Send someone to see for yourself. Had to go out of town to get things because they don't have product out. Big difference between stores.

Dollar Tree store closed early

I am not sure what is going on at this location it is close to my house... It is under new management and since Derek left or was reassigned to another store has gone down hill they can't keep staff and this Is the second time to my knowledge that the store has closed early (9/2019 and 10/15/19). This is definitely and inconvenience I drove to the location at 6803 w 75th street Overland park ks and it was filthy under staffed and had boxes every where. You guys need to do better! The people in these communities deserve that. Some don't have transportation to a grocery store or any store for that matter and this is all they have.

Dollar Tree cashier - sheila

There was only 1 register open and about 10 ppl waiting in line. An older (about 80 yrs old) gentleman walked up to get in line and he asked the cashier why can't another register be opened with this many ppl in line and more ppl coming up to get in line? She yelled at him and said "I ain't opening another line!" "He said I didn't ask you to do it, can't someone else come to help?" She yelled "NO we have a truck here so just wait in line, plus you're old as [censored] so I'm sure you ain't got nowhere to be! Not to mention you're in my store all the time so I know you got nothing better to do!"
As she was ringing my purchases up my daughter asked for her trick or treat pail I was buying her (that was just scanned) I handed it to her and she asked "can I have my mermaid too please?" (It was the next item on the belt) the cashier Sheila reached over the toy and scanned every item leaving the toy on the belt for last. I also had my own bag and it was open on the counter, Sheila scanned my items and threw them to the other side of the bag making me reach around to bag my purchases. As I was paying Sheila began to complain saying "I don't know why all these people need to come up in this store with a bad attitude! Why can ppl just smile? I can't make everyone happy! "
She was the one with the bad attitude and not one person was rude towards her while I was standing in line. My daughter and myself greeted her with a smile and a hello (even after she was terribly rude towards the older gentleman). I have never had a cashier act so rude towards customers.

Dollar Tree store manager

While I was in dollar tree shopping I heard the store manager talking loud and negative to an employee. When the employee came out she was crying heavy tears, it really bothered me. I also heard her talking very, very negative about other workers in the store. I could hear every last word she was saying and I was by the glassware. She is very unprofessional. Something should be done about this. That's the worst store manager I've ever encountered.

Dollar Tree rude manager

I went to the dollar tree at journal square in Jersey City NJ. I didn't know that the store didn't open until 9am. The Manager there opened the door to let a vendor out and I politely asked her if the store was open. She gave me no response and just closed the door in my face. I have been shopping at dollar tree for at least 10 years and after what that manager did I will never shop at dollar tree again. To know that this company allows rude individuals like that to be managers I will take my business else where.

Dollar Tree employee register person - connie

Sunday, october 13, I visited the dollar tree to purchase about $20+ in merchandise, I got into a opened register line with two people in front of me, the first was well into her purchase a second was in front of me. A new woman (did not recognize her from my many visits)

She opened her register without a open light. As with two previous events exactly with same attitude and nasty response. She immediately shouted "next person in line" the gentleman in front of me told me "i'm not moving"
Your register began shouting "next person in line" technically I was the next person in line... I approached the register, placed my basket on her register, she indicated was not going to handle my purchase, then threatened me with a remark "I am going to call the police" this makes the third time within the past year that I have had the same treatment.
What shocked me was my friend a adult woman and calls me by name shouted "sal you know the rules" I am a 8-year old executive with a career of working with about 40 staff women, I have never been treated with such remarks... To not accept my purchase, and then approach the first register where I was completing my newspaper purchase...
"does he want his basket purchase"? I told her no you had your chance... Enjoy restocking the stuff.

I was told to not shop at this dollar tree... Do you depend on such employee controls? Do you approve of such conduct? Why do you permit employees with such so called rules?

A dedicated dollar tree customer for many years... Prefer dollar tree over any such other competitors :)

I visited our local Dollar Tree store, as usual to purchase the Sunday newspaper.
Along with about $20 in general merchandise. Having the similar treatment
by Dollar Tree register employees, they appear to be violating common and decent
treatment a customer who has spent $40-$60 per month.

I got in line with only two customers, the first lady was winding up her sale.
The gentleman and I were the only two left, when a new employee shouted
"NEXT PERSON IN LINE, the gentleman in front of me stated "I'm not moving,
you go to the now opened second register (without the light on )
A lady jumped to this register and quickly completed her small purchase.
See that no one was responding to "NEXT CUSTOMER IN LINE"
There factually were none, so I approached the register, placed my basket
on the desk ... greeted with "NEXT PERSON IN LINE" verbally assaulted by this
command, upset me so I shouted there is no one but me!
She immediately shouted she would call the Police ...
Got back into my first line, purchased the newspaper, the new register lady
came over to my first purchase register and told my friend "does he want
his merchandise? When she minutes ago refused to allow me the purchase.

Yesterday I was contacted District Manager Gina Britton, who indicated she
was at the Dollar Tree where the above occurred ... she mentioned she was
in the process of interviewing three women, who were going to testify.
The tone appeared biased against me ... were these women employees?
Customers ? Felt this was a move against me without being present.
Did Gina Britton ask for their store receipts to prove they were present
or was this merely a hanging gang of incompetent women ...
I managed 37 women for 18 years ...promoted six after training them
into management jobs...
I have a career of patience and tolerance ... but this corporate tolerance
is unacceptable? Years of dedicated customer purchases and I have to
deal with the above ?

I had to furlough a young woman who failed to perform her contracted
duty, our Human Resources, with others to confirm the conduct, allowed
the young lady who apparently lied on her resume' to stay for 90 days ...
she lied about wanting the job collected a handsome salary for six months
and moved to Florida with her husband.

The Dollar Tree should be furloughed for 2-weeks without pay.

Dollar Tree manager/angela

I was looking at nail polish and had 4 polishes in my buggy to purchase which i opened to see the colors when the manager Angela yelled from across the store register area..."You can't try on nail polishes!" In a loud and rude manner to me!I told her that I was purchasing the nail polish.I have never had an associate yell from across a store to me ever in my life!It was completely uncalled for and very bad customer service not to mention embarrassing as other customers in the store heard it.I purchased over $15 dollars during my visit today including 4 nail polishes and shop this store often but will never return after this incident today.The manager Angela needs proper training on customer service and as an adult I would never speak to another adult in that manner.I am an educator and get many of my school supplies from this store for my students but will not be visiting this location again because of how I was treated today.

Dollar Tree rude cashier

10/13/19 in Belleview, Fl. The cashier was apparently upset that she was having to refund a lady's items and ring some of them over again. I was next in line. There was only one other cashier open and she had at least 7 or 8 people in line. The cashier said she was going to be a while and I needed to go to the other register. I said the line was too long and I would wait. After a couple of minutes she yelled at me and pointed her finger in a demanding manner that I go to the other line. I said that line is too long. She said, "Well, I can't help that." I said, "Well, I can, I can just leave." She replied back and said, "You can do what you wan't." I said, "This is the rudest store I've ever been in," and I left. This is the third time I've ever been in this store. One time was more pleasant and another time a few months ago was an unpleasant experience. Same as every time I've been a Dollar Tree, the lines are long and not enough cashiers. This time there was only one cashier and at least 15 people in line. There were two other store employees leaning against a wall talking and didn't offer to help. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes I made it to the counter. I told the young lady she needed some help. She said, "Why, do you want a job?" I said no, but people shouldn't have to wait in line this long with only one register open. She said, "We're doing the best we can." I said to myself I wouldn't go back in this store in Belleview again, but I did on this date. I can now say for certain I will not be back to this store. On another observation, this store is always messy with boxes stacked in the isles. What ever is causing poor customer service, whether it's low to poor staffing, or bad management, it should be looked at.
