Manager and hostile work environment
I have had my manager screaming at me in front of customers several times. She's had me breaking down in the office as well as in front of other employees and customers. She's cut other coworkers hours and harassed us. It's very hostile and unsafe. I'd like to see actions taken against the way she treats all of her employees including my assistant manager Amanda.

Normally I check the experation date before I buy and or eat food; however this time I didn't. I bought a hostess chocolate bunt cake. I oened it, took a bite and it tasted awful. Looked at the date, it expired July 13th and today is August 7th. The manager would not give me my money back. She didnt explain if that was due to the package being open or not. Most places will give you your money back. Its not my fault they do not check their peoducts and or rotate them out. Its not like it was a couple days old. It was almost a month old. I will never shop Dollar Tree.
Desired outcome: Its only 1.25 plus tax. I want my money back. I was obligated to get something else.
I ubderstand their policy; however, they should have made an exception. Their fod product was almost a moth old. Today August the first my wife and I went shopping at Carksville Arkansas we bought A little over 20 dollars worth of products and I only had a hundred dollar bill they told me they will not take this as payment and had already turned down a person before me so i was turned away the bill plainly says it is for all debts public and private. I was turned away and I should hire a lawyer cause of this.

Not really a complaint but a suggestion.
I live in Sevierville, Tn. and our Dollar Tree store is so small, and doesn't carry everything like your other stores. There is no freezer section, and the grocery isle is pathetic. Nothing like some of the other stores, like Maryville, Alcoa, Seymore. It is kinda hard to get to as well. In Sevierville they are getting ready to build a new mall, (Allensville Square) across from the Home Depot and just off hwy 66 . It would be so nice if you would move to that location. A lot of things are moving and going in all along hwy 66 so there is a lot of foot traffic. The phone number to inquire about this mall is [protected]. Good morning,
I recently visited. Location #7418 on July 1st and purchase a few items one being Breyers ice cream retailed @$5.00. However, when I made it home and decided to have a serving, I opened the package, and it was freezer bitten. I went to return the item into store today and wasn't pleased with my interaction with the store manager. I enter the location the older lady at the register didn't greet me as she was drinking under stable. She was very nice in assisting me with my concern she then picked the phone up to get the manager. The manager came out of office in front of store didn't say one word to me in acknowledge me and my concern(eating). The sales rep explains to manager the issue. The manager then looked at the item and stated looks like you let it melt and refroze it. The manager then tells me you can go get another one I explain to her I didn't want this to happen I again, so I asked for a refund or even a gift card. She stated no you can just grab something else then in which I really didn't want to at the time. I very disappointed with store manager passive aggressive behavior. Her was Angela.
Desired outcome: Yes, If the DM would have a conversation with his/her store manager on profiling or prejudging guest to insure everyone receive great guest service.
Dollar Tree in Auburn, California has had lots of empty shelves (even on their scheduled delivery days of Tuesday and Friday) for at least the past three weeks. When I asked why this was to a few of the employees the answer was consistent. "The Manager won't give anyone additional hours during the work week because it will make her bonus a lot smaller".
DOES ANY RETAIL STORE MAKE MONEY FROM UNSOLD PRODUCTS SITTING IN A WAREHOUSE OR BACKROOM?
Where is the District Manager at this time? We used to see the old District Manager at the Auburn store a couple of times a month. He even helped stocking shelves a few times and at that time he had managed a store in the Sacramento area. We never see his replacement District Manager (only once this year).
I knew a store manager for Longs Drugs in Fresno California years ago. He wore a suit and tie and didn't have a store receiver. HE was the receiver and when a delivery came in, he had someone IMMEDIATELY put it out on the shelves. He told me, "Products don't make money for the company sitting in the back room".

Working for this company has caused me to take my anger out on my wife and my granny. She is 92 and they made me break her ribs in anger and she is having me charged with assault.
I also gave my wife a black eye over this and she is thinking of leaving me. This company has caused me a lot of stress.
I did nothing wrong. I was trying to ask another coworker out, she rejected me. I flashed myself to her and she reported me. They have no proof and are looking for other reasons to fire me.
I got this in my email and I didn't do anything but tell you people have reasons to be mad. Not everyone is a stoic knight like you. You wouldn't last one week at our store in Hamilton, OH. We have conflicts everyday. Some are justified and some aren't. Stop trying to defend your friend. Nothing I said was wrong and you two seem like small town guys with small town minds. not everyone's life is like yours and your store as well. Get over yourself and I'll reply to your weak arguments against me for no reason at all. Dollar tree seems to have a habit of hiring strange people. And if you'd like to do this face to face I can meet you at my store if you're nearby. I've been with this company for a year, my wife quit last month because she was told to do the truck alone and she's 5'3 with one leg. I just saw yesterday that was taken off the schedule with no explanation or I wouldn't even be here. But after this exchange I think I might send a complaint to corporate about your stores. I'm sure you have shady stuff going on and PS some managers deserve to be fired, maybe you're one of them. Let's find out..
