Dollar General review: Unethical behavior of employees ( 1 comment)

Me and my husband were just verbally abused by a employee that claimed she was the manager when I and another customer asked for a Manager. The store was packed and had several customers waiting in line when I asked the lady who claimed she was the manager to please cash me out. She was just standing there doing nothing when I noticed that the cashier that already had a customer was the person that I once tried to joke with and she gave me a huge attitude and I asked her why was she giving me attitude and she stated to me that is who she is. So at this time I was choosing to avoid any conflict and just asked the lady standing there to please cash me out. I was not giving anyone any issues or being abusive to anyone. So the lady opened but was obviously having a issue cashing me out. I simply stated "I am sorry but the other employee and I just don't click. This is when this employee started verbally abusing me telling me that I too have had a issue with her and that I treat all of them like" Sh* and that I have no right etc. etc. Doller General at this time had a long line of customers waiting to be cashed out. We began to have words and I stated I would never step foot back in this store and she replied "Yup you said that too then and look where you are now. Another customer spoke up and said"Oh another customer being abused by Dollar General Employee. She then started to complain and explain what they had just done to her. I spoke up and said, "Ma'am I apologize that you too were verbally and generally abused by these employees. The lady that was cashing me out then told me"to keep running my mouth and I would see who would be abused." I then told her I would have her job. She then spoke up and said you want my job you can have it. I am sorry but these employees should not hold a position working with the public.
