Dollar General review: Store employee

I use to work for the company but had to leave due to personal reasons it was almost 2 years ago. I went into a freshly built dollar general store that was built near my home. I was greeted by an old employee and she said hi. I preceded to walk around the store taking in the new store and seeing the changes and difference of this brand new store. When I was walking I noticed my old store manager was also there but she went into the office. As I was leaving the store she said “you don’t need to come in here anymore” I left because of how her and the assistant manager were mistreating some of the employees and never gave me a good job or thank me for the work I did. It was a part-time job. I left as I could not accept how I was treated but since it was a part-time job I didn’t want to complain just leave peacefully before I got angry and said something about the lack of respect. I later found that she was bashing me with people and so I never came back to that store and felt more hurt that such ignorant talk about me when I tried my hardest and did what I thought was a good job and yet was not rewarded. Sadly she even bought embroidered shirts for all the employees except for me. I didn’t complain but now having her tell me this I feel that this revenge action is very unprofessional for a manager. I understand that it is hard with employee shortage these days but that was so unprofessional I wish to file a complaint about the injustice.
