I just left the dollar general in east fort Myers on palm beach Blvd. There was an error in price on an item and the friendly casher told me she needed the manager to void it... I wasn't expecting what walked up to the register with her.
This young man looked like a homeless man. He had bright colored croc shoes with black socks pulled up to above his shin... And a tattered oversized sweater with skulls on it... Really baggy black shorts... I was really confused when I saw him with the cashier because it just didn't seem like he was a manager... I've never seen someone who is managing any store dressed like they are homeless. And if he is. That's horrible. But it seems odd to replace the previous manager who was so nice and very good with customers always dressed professionally... With what ever was going on there. I took a photo because I really just couldn't take this serious. I'm glad the issue with the incorrect price was resolved but... ?
Desired outcome: I think managers need to be required to look the part.. after review the company policy..... He technically isn't wearing the correct uniform.

First of all as long he does his job well it should not matter how he dresses. Second he looks nowhere like a homeless person. You got your issue resolved so was he not nice and good with customers? It seems like you are judging him based on his appearance. Tell me what did he do that was rude? What did he do that was not good customer service. Nothing, you got the correct price so your implying that he was rude or bad at customer service means nothing.
