Dollar Generalcredit card overcharge/unethical behaviour

on wednesday july 5 i visited the dollar general store #07140 at 865w. ain street in central, s.c. & purchased cat food mainly, 15 cans of 'forever pals', 10 cans of friskies, 1- 3.6lb bag of dad's special mix dry food & 1 - 3.15 lb bag of friskies seafood sensations, along with 3 other items, totalling $30.50. the female cashier obviously did not have her self focused on her job & for an example, there were 2 other feales smoking outside who opened the door to remind her to make a special reminder call to someone the 3 knew mutually. she immediately grabbed a pen/paperbut wrote nothing down. once home, i re-checked my receipt & she charged me twice for the friskies seafood sensations dry food. i called immediately at approximately 2 pm & was told to return thursday morning with the receipt. at 9 am thursday i returned & told Kristy at thte register my problem & she said i wouldhave to wait, that she was busy with a vendor + had custoomers (what am i?) & that she would have to go review the camera footage from wednesday. i told her i was on my way to work & would return before 2pm that afternoon, which i did. she would not accomodate me in any way, kept making excuses as to being alone, so i asked if it would be possible to just grab a 2nd bag of friskies-she said no-, then she proceeded to begin checking out customers & ignoring me. finally, i told her to give me back my receipt which she had taken to office? i told her i would not be back & she told me she hoped i never came back. that's my complaint & it was originally about a minor overcharge which has happened often in years past, but i;ve ner encountered such resistance from a cashier. now, my complaint is against Kristy & Dollar General et al for all this frustration, 3-days of dealing with it with no satisfactory resolution, plus 28 miles over a mere $4.00 transaction, which i was thinking from the start of this travesty would be simply, pleasantly resolved until encountering your most unprofessional, rude employee, apparently lacking proper training with dealing ehically & professionally with innocent customers. i was robbed. btw, i'll be shopping at petsmart or walmart from now on, & i do mean on & on...no more of my money will ever go into a dg register
