Dollar General

I received a load from a broker on Aug 25. 7pm appt to load and finished loading at 12:30 am on the 25th. I tell broker and arrive to deliver in the 12 hour estimated time. Only to be told I need a new appt. 24 hours later on the 26th I'm told 5 days until a new one can be made. 3 days on this load already. I work with GNS Trucking as owner/operator. I have informed them I will not deliver again. This is 4 deliveries with a 3 out of 4 negative experience. Never because of me. I will also tell my family not to patron any of your establishments. My desired compensation would be more than the arrogance a large corporation would want to pay for. I generate over 1.5k revenue per day, with respectable companies.

On Tuesday August 24, 2021 on I49 in Louisiana between Exits 132 (Mansfield) and 168 (Natchitoches) a Dollar General driver ran several people off the road including me. In addition to driving in an unsafe manner, he was driving in excess of 80-90 mph. His truck number was 38385 and his license plate was Tennessee U946899. The truck company was Left Lane. I took pictures of his truck, but was too scared to video him as I was driving in excessive speeds to try and get away from him! I exited at 168 at 5:45pm. Please, check his logs. He was either texting, sleepy, high or crazy.

When I go into a store, I expect to be greeted by cashier. Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not. The last time I was in the downtown Abilene KS store, when I finished paying for my purchase the cashier didn't say thank you, come again, anything. She was too busy talking to other clerk. This clerk has never been friendly. It wouldn't hurt her to at least be pleasant.

I waited 10 minutes to be checked out and still no one waited on me after I was told she had to unload truck first. I could have stole anything I wanted and no one would've none. I was taught customers come first, but I guess that's not the case in Funston, Ga. you lost revenue and I will take my business elsewhere in the future. And it was the Manager.

On 8-13-21, drop package off for fedx at 8:56 am, lady took package scan with a scan gun. And never head from again I call fedx they no package pick there it's been a week on the 20th I want an answer where the hell my package is! I have called many times the store and fedx. Your new manager at store is a smart [censored]. I will be taken in legal action, I have witness to everything. I would not be this piss if someone had tried to resolve this issue.

I've been buying your Good&Smart Coconut Water (Original version) for over a year and drink a case of this product every 2 weeks. It was one of the best "all natural" coconut waters on the market. Your supplier has recently begun adding sugar to each 16.5 oz can but still labels it as the "original" version, and I see that the new version comes from Vietnam instead of Thailand. Adding 10% more sugar defeats the health benefits of coconut water, so I had to throw out an entire case. Can you look into this issue and see why the new version is being mis-labeled as "original"? On Aug. 11, 2021 at about 12:15 pm I was driving on fm 1289 towards Port O'connor Texas. A Dollar General semi truck aggressively drove up behind me and flashed his lights, wanting me to move out of his way. There was nowhere for me to move over to. I was driving the speed limit. He then proceeded to pass me up. When he passed me, he repeatedly tried to hit my vehicle with his trailer. I was forced off the road. Road rage is very bad, but it is even worse in an 80, 000 pound truck.

Store #3833 Williamstown NJ, I put in for $50 cash back on 8/10/21 at 1:50 pm, cashier and manager indicated they could not access the safe. I was asked to put my name and number on a receipt and it would go into a folder until they opened the safe. I tried to call the district manager several times Dave More with no response. I call corporate several times with my only recourse to leave a message. I am currently out of work and the money was intended on paying a bill.

The amount of stock being provided to store number 04420 is extremely substandard. When Employees are asked about products that are no longer available becaause many of the shelves are empty. Their standard reply is that it has been ordered but corporate did not supply it. I have been shopping at this store for over 2 years. What seems to be the problem? I see every other Doollar General being stocked over full and many of the shelves at my store are empty.

I did an application online and was called for an interview. I went in for the interview and was told when my background came back I could start. This was by the assistant manager Taylor. The real manager Paige Johnson was out on leave. So i never heard anything else. When i asked the employees about it they told me they were still waiting on the background check. 3 weeks later. In the meantime Paige (the manager) comes back to work. An employee Kristy Baker of Dollar General calls my daughter and says Paige is coming back and i probably dont want to take that job cause there wont be ant hours. For some reason Paige does not like me. I firmly believe she is the reason I was never called back. They have hired a few people since then, but I still am waiting on a response from Taylor about my employment. I feel like I was not given a chance for employment because of some issues Paige obviously has with me. They called me 2 times the day of my interview to make sure I was still coming for it and then this... So i leave you with this... Its really sad when people cant get a job in a small town dollar general because the manager has her "click" My name is Mary Ann Smith. The store is Dollar General in Sardis Ga. Paige is not a friendly person anyway. The same employee who spoke to my daughter also told me herself "Paige came back on a high horse thats to high for her". She has a nasty attitude and clearly does not like her job. [protected]

My car was hit in the dollar general parking lot by the dollar general semi truck on july 23 2021.
I have police report and photos.
I have emailed them to [protected]@ dollar general.Com
they said i was on high priority
i have called [protected] almost every day, im told the transportaion service dept and managers have " no " phone number only "emails"
for 2 weeks i have gotten brushed off and the run around

for such a "huge" company this is unacceptable
my car should be fixed by now

Dollar General just built a new store right next to my home in a very small community in Oklahoma. Between the city and myself demanding, they built a fence separating our properties in order to stop trash from coming onto my property from Dollar General. The fence stops the big trash but the store now hires someone to do their mowing for them and he does not pick up trash prior to mowing! The person mowing just mows over the trash on the Dollar General property blowing it under the fence onto my property! I am not happy about trash being blown under the fence littering my yard!

I put in a pickup order to be picked up between 3:00 and 4:00. It's 4:15 and the order is not ready. The associate was so rude to me and told me the store was out of stock of the items in my order. I walked around the store and all the items are available. I am on a time restraint and can't wait which is why I chose pickup. I also refuse to tolerate being treated this way.
Dollar General, do better

The store at 2520 Rockford Lane 40216 has a large hole at the turn in that needs to be fixed. I busted my tire when I turned in to the parking lot. This hole has been in this spot for awhile. Being at least three months. It has grown to be a lot deeper and bigger. I really don't think I am the first one to drop in this crater. Could you please have someone look at this as soon as possible. Or at least set up caution signs
