Yesterday around 4:30 pm 8 customers stood in line while a vendor & the 1 person working she said she was a manager stopped the checkout process at least six to seven times to fix an issue the vendor was having. Two people walked out of the store without their products and everyone else waited for around 15 minutes. I think this is something that should be addressed.

My son moved back to help take care of his dad & mom.we told him that D.G. was around corner &the store looked like it was in need of a good hard & caring employee, so he went to work at the Comanche store.They we're great to work around him taking his dad to Dialysis 3 times a week and various Dr. Appointment s we had and even gave him a few hours but now that the main boss came back from her maternity leave it seems it makes her mad he has to take us to our appointments so for instance he had a $18.00 check for the week. Can any of you live on 18.00 a week. He can't even afford gas for truck let alone for him and his fiance to get a place. Why can't D.G. be good to their employees? I know if the store's would be given more hours to give their employees to work then maybe the stores would not be in such a termoil and employees would be happier. I Know he likes working their but come on 18.00 a week is all he makes that is unfortunate American.maybe all you bosses should try living on that a week .what happened to government putting in to affect the Friendly Family Act? I don't think it was for big corporate business to take advantage of the little people just because they are trying to do right by their old folks. Please change giving your stores more hours to work on for their employees .Then just maybe you wouldnt have to hire someone who is a kid or employees who don't care.I know my son is a great hard working employee, but he doesn't have the hours to prove how great he is. He talks about if only they have him more hours & enough staff at one time they could have that store totally turned around..I can't even go in there to shop because my Walker won't go thru most of the isle because of stock all over the floor because of no shelf space .come on guys organization could be your best friend if you worked things out right. First and foremost I would not work again at DG. I worked at the Saxton Pa store from May 2000 -July 2002 and enjoyed my job and only left because needed better wages and health insurance. I have done some thinking and I do not ever remember not being present during my drawer for the shift was counted. I was terminated at DG on Lloyd st Altoona Pa for being short money not saying it could not have happened but how would I know for sure it was me if I wasn't there.

Dollar General has some serious tweeking to do considering online coupons. So far for me it's a joke.
Not once has to actually worked and gave me the discounted price. Pointless to ask the cashier, they have no idea themselves. When I ask for the discounted price according to the coupons I'm told unless it comes off through the system I cannot get it. So I buy according to the sales only I don't get it at the register. Very disappointing, nothing but a unfilled sales marketing tool. I deleted the ap from my phone its pointless.

I was trying to shop at the dollar General when I was bitten by flies as I was trying to shop and when exiting the store several pants were laying on my arms

The only reason why I am report 27i34jng this is because the same thing happened to my husband which leads me to believe that there is a huge problem in that store.

I was just shopping and the Dollar General in Herkimer New York when hearing a conversation from one of your employees about her boyfriend and his ex going to court over child support and the verbal language that was coming out of this girl's mouth was just unacceptable and a workplace she had nothing good to say and every other word was a curse word. I'm glad I was the only person there because if there were any kids there I would have surely said something to her. It is 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday October 3rd of 2017 and I don't think I will ever go back in that store again and I will let everyone else that I know about the situation I was just put in because of your employee

I shop at the location 5921 Rising Sun Ave in phila brings though this is the closes for walking distance.
I can’t heelp but get annoyed every time I walk into the store to find out the shelves are never stock. Things like cereal, sugar, juices and juice packs, water, noodles etc... I can go on and on and on. It is very unprofessional for a business to the public that we come into a store and every item on my list comes up empty.

I will never waste my time shopping here again.

i shop there regularly the manager and an employee brandy s. are rude to the employees and the customers. Lena is so rude to her employees in front of people, , , i was in there yesterday she was so rude to an employee telling her she didnt care about her problems or what she had to do she was leaving an hour early tomorrow because shes tired of working everyday so the employee had to come in an hour early. To me that is poor management if you have something to say to an employee you take them in the office and shut the door you dont embarrass someone in front of a line full of customers. Brandy said well i cant come in Lena said o thats fine honey...So if you are going to show favoritism dont do it in front of people...brandy then said she was going outside for a cigarette Lena said thats fine then told the employee that was on the register u may not get a lunch, now to me that isnt right you are entitled to a lunch the girl even said i leave in an hour i been here since 9 it was 3 Lena said i dont care there is stuff that needs to be done then she went to sit in the office a line full of people and Brandy went outside for a cigarette i said to the girl they were downright rude she said nothing but its my job i have to do it, she was almost in tears ...to me this is wrong. I then went outside and all us people that were in line were standing outside talking about this and here comes Lena to have a cigarette very poor management i usually dont say anything because i know being a manager is hard but you also cant belittle your employees in front of people.

off $25 digital coupon on my clipboard did not work. It was not the one for Saturday only it was definitely one for five dollars off $25 that expires on October 7 my purchase came to over $31 I went back to the store they told me I had to call customer service I called customer service and they directed me to this site my ticket number is [protected] This does happen quite a lot my name is Valerie Studnick my phone number is [protected] I had gone to the Dollar General store in Glendale Heights number 04995 the purchase date was October 1, 2017 at 2:02 PM my total came to 31.30 before taxes $33.88 after taxes

I was overrang for an item and when I returned back into the store to show the savage manager at the unadilla store her mistake, she was very rude and didn't even know how to give me my refund.. I then asked her where the customer service skills had been aquired... Apparently they were both absent on that day of school.. I shop alot at dollor general but not anymore becouse of the manager, black female.. She has no buisness running a store.. None

I love the dollar generals in my area I have 4 close to me the new one on edmeston ny is less than a mile from where I work I go there everyday for lunch break on Friday I went in and pillows were on sale so I brought 2 up to chase out along with my snacks bday cards etc the small pillow did not ring up on sale the other one did so the cashier call the assistant manager kayla she had piercings all over her face & dirty hair she said you have to look at the fine print only certain colors are on sale it was a $5.00 pillow on sale for $1. something I love it I wanted it she was very snotty I told her she needed improve on her cs skills told her I come every day and it would not let me print my $3.00 coupon for the last survey for some reason . she said that's the way it is . then I told her I would be sure to report her on my next survey she said you gotta do what ya gotta do i advised her i would never come in the store again and was she willing to lose a customer for for $3.00 she said yes and walked away the cashier said she never seen her like that so mean I was affended by her I work in cs she should be fired I did go up today & tell the manager

Every time I walk in this store there is an employee on there cell phone. I go to check out and the lady behind the counter is on her phone and don't say one word to me. Another time I went the lady behind the counter was listening to music on her phone and sang during the transaction and again didn't say a word to me. This is the last time I will be shopping at dollar General! Store #16357

I went to store 5:00pm got three items went to check out found twelve people standing in line only one register open. Was not anyone else to be seen in store. after standing in line 20 minutes the manager finely came out of office. Now there are at least 15 people in line manager shows her face three times I finely ask why she doesn't open 2nd register after standing inline over 20 minutes replies she can not. I ask her are you not the manager? she replies she is then I say you can open another register. she then finely opens 2nd register with an attitude. My opinion is this store when it opened was a great store very friendly employees always greeted when entering store. Been shopping here since store opened and this store has done a 360 turn around and management has a lot to be desired (VERY POOR AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS). Store in maryland is much friendlier and MUCH better service. I hope something is done about this I go to Peach Bottom store 2 to 3 time a week if changes are not made other customers and myself will go else where. Loss prevention needs to pay a visit to this store ..the employees are rude to customers ..you can't even walk around the store with out getting hurt bc they leave everything in the isles and laying around .buna store has got to be the worse store I have every been in for as being dirty ..they take money out of the literacy thing when people are short of change alot of people say the have reported this store the employees and the manager and nothing gets done why can't something be done about this store and the way the workers treat everyone

this store is a new store, it looks like a junk yard, messy, stuff still in the boxes that it was shipped in, hard too get checked out with all the people hanging out talking too the clerk, people breaking in line ahead of people that was in the before them, we need this store here for the town of Coffeeville, it helps a lot of the people, just letting u know it not going too be here long with this kind of management, looks like there are no kind of rules for these people. can u help.

I took my sleepwear back because it was too big and my receipt too get my 9.00 dollars back.The employee said it was on sale and refuse to give back my full refund.She was also rude and didn't want to do her job I think this was wrong I come in here all the time and never have a problem.This employee is always rude and I'm start to thank she's racist which is wrong I think this store can do better with their customers thank you

I went to the dollar general in Stanley enc 28164 on Oct 1 and was very rudely waited on at the register. The store was so packed with unshielded goods you couldn't use a buggy. I have visited this store twice and was in such disarray and rude workers I will not go back good luck on keeping this store open if they treat people the way they treated me. You really should send someone from corporate to check on your investment and who you have running it.

I would like to know why its called customer first survey?
I am in the store at least 5-6 times per week up until recently I was able to complete all survey's, now I can only complete 2 every 14 day's.
I am a very loyal Dollar General customer and do not understand why they print survey's on the receipt to be completed if I can not complete them, I have nothing but good thing's to say about Dollar General that is why I'm in there all the time. I spoke with Carlo at the [protected] number and he was of no help in this matter. So there fore as much as I like to do business with Dollar General I will now be shopping with Family Dollar and maybe then I might understand what customer first.

Hello, I live in Beaverton, MI, and shop at Dollar General here. I have been in many many D.Gs, and this one, by far, is the dirtiest store in the area! There are items laying all over the floor and shelves are not stocked. The stock is in boxes in the isle ways. Today, I watched one employee walk around, never attempting to pick up anything in the isle! He walked around the items!

Finding the store in this condition is not just once in awhile, this is ALL the time! I find myself going to Family Dollar across the road to find the items I need. If I'm traveling near by and I need something from D.G., I will go to another one, knowing that this one is either dirty or will not have the items I need, due to not being stocked.

I have been in the Bennington vt DG 4 times in the last month and the store is such a mess! Many shelves are empty and freight blocking aisles. Understandable if it was a one time deal but everytime i go in there you have to fight to get around maybe the fire inspector should go in there it is a hazard. If its because of short staff then they should hire help. I think this will be my last trip there for a while.
