Dollar General Employee

Juan canales employee at hebbroville tx store he will not stop Harrison my husband and telling him he want to sleep with him he does it right in front of me his wife and other costumers I want him removed. Fired I go to dollar general every day and my husband doesn't want to go any more he is embarrassed and being that my husband runs his Owen company he likes to maintain his image and not lose costmers because they will lose respect for him being that he's married and I'm disabled what will people think of him and of myself it's very unprofessional for him to tell us his sex stories and then tell my husband he wants him and his cousin and goes on when I walk away take care of this problem or I will sue for sexual harassment and make a big thing outta of this it needs to stop we have asked him serveral times to stop and let him know my husband isn't gay and he doesn't so take care of it

Desired outcome: I want him him termanated for sexual harrisment thank you

I would like to file a sexual harrisment complaint on Juan canales in hebbronville Texas store on Smith street he keeps harassing my husband and want to have sex with my husband my husband has asked him to stop we go to the store every day and it's got to the point ny husband doesn't want to go anymore I'm disabled and my husband goes with me every where my husband has an image to maintain for his company he does it in front of other coustomers he does it in front of me my husband is very bothered as am I I want him terminated ir I will sue for sexual Harrismebt I hate that I had to contact corporate but we have asked him to stop and he doesn't so this was the next step if the issue is not handled I will get an attorney and I'll make sure to record from now on

Dollar General Wrongful termination

So I've been working for dollar general for about two years in total. Everything was running fine at the Port Sanilac store until we switched to new management. And since then things have been running poorly. The new manager, Jess setters, is passive aggressive with her employees and I feel like I was terminated wrongfully.

I had only asked for the schedule to be changed twice, and I didn't end up going in at different times, I went in as I was scheduled.

She didn't give me a warning or anything. I have no write ups or previous issues.

I took a mental health break that SHE approved, and for her to use that against me after I've been getting counseling and medication to help and showing up for my shifts is nonsense.

Shes abusing her status of power and treating underlings horribly. To fire someone without warning or provocation is wrong.

Especially when this manager is regularly breaking rules. (Taking expired foods home, leaving in breakroom. Hiding items until they go on the lowest discount before being pennied out).

She needs to be under revision for her position as soon as possible.

Dollar General Service

I visit Dollar General in Jennings Missouri at 6400 West florissant Avenue on Sunday March 19th at approximately 9:48 a.m.. when I entered the store the cashier had an earpiece in and was having an extremely loud conversation about her job how there are no managers on duty and how very disgusted she was with working at Dollar General and how they don't train people they just throw you in here, however she was standing there working. I could hear her conversation in the back of the store and when I went to check out there was a person who was asking about a digital coupon she told him that he would have to wait because there were four people in line as she was very disrespectful to him. He went and got the sign from where he had picked up his coffee and showed it to her and she went on to tell him that expired yesterday and he replied you guys need to update your signs and she said to him ...or you need to read, reading is fundamental, the f***. This female stood there with pink and gold hair twisties in her head tied up into a ponytail and was the very reason why that particular Dollar General is so unpleasant to visit. Meanwhile all of her disrespect going on there was a man standing to the left inside of a nook at the front of the store right at her register with marijuana spread out on the ledge rolling a blunt right next to her resister so I assume that she had to have known this person. He heck no discretion as she continued her rent about her horrible job. There was a young man towards the back of the store who was stocking items and was very pleasant spoke to everyone who walked back. I would assume that there would be cameras near the front entry that would collaborate this complaint.

Desired outcome: She needs to be taught job etiquette. there needs to be disciplinary action behind that.

Dollar General Customer Service Store #01482

I went to store # 01482,

after paying my items and using my coupon, I noticed on the receipt that one of the items the price was not the same that was on the shelve. I went back to the store and ask the cashier if the price on the item can be adjust because it was over $2.00 difference, he went to the Manager and lady say no, that the price was whatever the machine marks, because the item was in the shelve because she did not have space to put them. The way she answered to the employee was horrible. I ended up returning all the items, first it my money and second this lady need to school to learn manners. Anyone can be a store Manager or can be in charge of one, but not everyone has the appropriate manners to be one.

I feel discriminated by this lady, this is the last time I'll go to this store.

Desired outcome: find a solution, this is not the first time that happen, that prices are incorrect mark down.

Dollar General Digital Coupons

you might as well not do Digital coupons cause no one is getting the coupon off . I just got pop I paid full price and showed the work my digital coupon she said it was off but it wasn't. This is the 2nd time on the pop. worked said it wasn't thru them that does the digital coupons. so I will never buy pop again at any Dollar General store that has a digital coupon...

Dollar General Rude Ness to customers and using aggressive authorities

The other day me and ex girlfriend had argument we finally broke up she is manager of store in armuchee, GA. Her name is Giovanna zamora she is trying to ban me from coming in store that I have business when I came through door she started on me! Ok also her boyfriend lives with her his name is Bobby! I'm not gone bother her or speak to her I'm not a theif! So what can I do so I can shop in store?also she is very rude to customers makes faces at them if yall will pull cameras u will know what she doing! Please help resolve this issue!

Desired outcome: I think she should be terminated! Because that ant first time she been rude to customers ! Please resolve this issue!

Dollar General Managers/assistant managers not keeping items stocked in cooler and both had attitudes with me.

My complaint is about the Dollar General Store in Deridder Louisiana Store # 4805. This is my second time doing a complaint about this store.

For starters i normally am not the type of person who files complaints on a business and emoyee but this needs to be dealt with because this store is losing money because they are lazy and dont wanna keep products stocked, plus the manager and assistant manager should not be rude, unprofessional and straight up lie to a customer's face when I know she is lying. I go to this specific store because it is closest to my house and it used to be my favorite Dollar general store when the old workers were at the store and I never had a problem and they were all so friendly, helpful and polite. I enjoyed shopping their when they ran it but the manager quit and the other 2 became assistant managers at different times and then they got promoted to managers and got their own store and all the Great ones are not at this store anymore. Now i hate to even go there. I specifically go shopping their for redbulls daily because of the deals on the buy 3 12 0z. ones. I filed a complaint before about them not haveing the flavored ones stocked in the coolers but they were on the shelves because i always check. I let the manager know about it in the past and she blamed it on the assistant manager Tim that was there then and he wasnt stocking the coolers,like it was only his job to do and not hers to help as she is the boss.Then last week same thing i got 1 cold and 2 hot ones that were in a different spot set up in a redbull stand at the end of an aisle. As the manager checked me out i politely asked her again if they could try keeping them stocked in the cooler that i didnt see any of a certain flavor on the shelf where they always are but that i got it on the redbull stand. And her response was she didnt know where they where they put them when they are delivered. I feel like she is just making up something to justify it and lying.I politely asked her if they could keep them stocked in the cooler so they would be cold so I can drink them right away instead of having to come home put them in fridge and wait for them to get cold enough to drink. Well I worked the overnight shift last night at my job and went by the store because I wanted my redbulls this morning and was ready for a cold one. Got there at 8 am. And the manager( I forgot her name)and assistant manager Michelle was standing outside talking and smoking a cigarette already instead of starting work. I went in and checked the coolers for the ones I like in 12 oz which is the Dragon Fruit, Watermelon or Peach flavors and they had none in the cooler but had 2 of those flavors on the shelves and then they also have a redbull stand at the end of an isle close by that has some on it. So I wasn't able to buy any unfortunately and she came in and was behind the counter and I heard her mumble oh [censored]. I told her there were no cold redbulls and are on the shelves and need to stock them but she didn't respond and I kept waking. And Michelle the assistant manager was rude to me. I told her about nobody ever stocking them and she looked me in the eyes and lied to me. She said they don't stock the redbulls in the cooler that the company does when they bring them. I've cashier a few times and yes the guys who deliver Always stock the product in the coolers and the test go on the shelves and then it's the employees job to restock them when they get low or out. So yes I'm very upset with both of them and they are making the company miss out on money and losing customers because of it. After this morning I am no longer going their anymore. Corporate needs to repremend both of them and definitely should start looking for better leader/ workers.

Desired outcome: Need to get better management and people who wanna work and are friendly to customers and keeps items stocked where people wanna come there and feel welcomed and are making the company money, not losing money.

Dollar General Service

I visited the general dollar store on 04/03/23, located 2156 White Street, York PA, I was looking for a dish soap when I took it, I dropped it and it broke, an employee went and from the first moment I had a bad attitude and I asked her if she wanted me to clean up the liquid that had fallen so she answered no because there were cameras and that was her job, I was very embarrassed, so I asked her if I had to pay for it and she said yes. that person was behind me looking at me the whole time in the aisles of the store. That person confronted me and had a very bad attitude towards me. Employees must have empathy with customers in situations like you are and not make the customer feel bad. I felt watched and misguided because I am Latina and she believed that I did not understand what she was saying to me. I paid for the broken product but you must teach your employees to treat people with kindness and empathy.

Dollar General Scented toilet paper, aka, toxic

Im allergic to perfumes, unfortunately most do not know how toxic they are and how many diseases they cause. Ive never seen toilet paper that is scented and bought by mistake, the manager treated me like scum for wanting to exchange it for a non scented version, she claimed it was her policy to refuse a return with out a receipt, This is not true,. Corp rules are store credit or exchange and i wanted to exchange it. Her and the lady working there were viscously mean for no reason. Acting like i harmed them because i wanted to exchange something. It was so toxic to be near them i left the store and the paper behind, as i left they yelled at me to get my tissue, so i reminded them, im allergic, i dont want it. Its not about the money, im allergic. So i left the items there and made a report to corporate. They simply were evil, there is no reason to treat someone like this and make up fake return policies just to be rude?

Desired outcome: Would like my non scented toilet paper or store credit just as the dollar general returns guarantee speaks of.

We were going to this one, out of our way because the Riverview dr store is rough, hard to walk through because racks and racks of products are left in almost all the hallways not stocked and just everywhere. Really, its a bit much when the store is small already, we will return here and shop here now. The other store is nicer but wow, talk about mean as a snake, the manager was simply overly mean for no reason. Lazy i guess, just didn't want to do a return and lied to me about store policy. I even told them the store policy and she walked away from me. Not willing to work with me on their policy at all.

I do my best to be nice to everyone, i treat everyone with respect and they literally crapped on me.

Dollar General Management at your Derry NH store

I went into your store at 17 Crystal Ave Derry NH 03038 to purchase a few things that I needed. Before I entered the store there are handwritten notes hanging on the door stating that some items are ringing up for a different amount. When I checked out all three of my items rang up $1.00 more than the shelves stated (Yes, I did check the price on the shelf before I went to the front). When I hit the help button it took over 10 minutes for the manager to come up and help me. (There was only self-checkout available). When I asked if she was going to give me the price on the shelves, she said no I cannot do that. I have always shopped at Dollar General and never came across where the manager of the store could not fix the price in the register. When I asked why she told me that it was because the store just opened. The manager of your Derry NH store was very rude to me. I told her she could void the whole order. My biggest issue is the signs on the door do not state that the prices could not be corrected in the register just that they ring up incorrectly. Also, there were only about 3 other people in the store why did it take her so long to come to the front to help me out and your Manager at the store is rude.

Dollar General Cleanliness

I was in your store on Friday, March 3 on College Avenue in Factoryville. Wow, this is a 3 year old store? It started with new white floors and a feeling of quality just a few years ago and now it is disgusting to say the least. I hope the company hires a professional floor cleaner to mop and buff on a regular basis before it’s shut down. Every time I go in it looks worse 🤢

Dollar General Building doors

The Dollar General Market located 835 East Andrew Johnson Hwy Greeneville TN

The doors at this location has continuously had issues and you have to manually slide doors open and closed. Cannot understand why they cannot be repaired! If this is a store being rented by Dollar General then the owner of property needs to be contacted! I almost every time have to assist elderly folks to open doors. This is ridiculous! There has been times over summer months the air conditioning doesn’t work too! Come on get this repaired for your workers and customers!

Desired outcome: Repair the doors to open and close and not have to manually do this. Only one of the doors are used the other end is blocked off!! And heating and air conditioning to be operable too!

The Manager needs to check all refrigerated products. I bought these hot dogs on Monday Feb. 13, 2023. The expiration date was Jan. 09, 2023. I'm not looking to return these but thought someone should be checking the dates on all foods. Not sure if I will go back to shopping there. The store number is 19322. I hope you can correct this ASAP. I wouldn't want any other customers to buy outdated products. Thank You

get rid of self check out and have people work and not just 1 person that works there. Only 1 employee when i was there shopping. Check out lines not monitored because she was stocking on other side of store. I asked her a question and she completely ignored me/ yes she is a Black girl! Your store will lose money and people are going to steal stuff because lack of employees and 1 worker per store.
