I bought 4 tires from Discount tires for a car that I barely drive. The tire pressures are always checked and kept a appropriate levels. I had a tire on the driver's side front. The tire started splitting all around the SIDES of the tire. I took my car in to address this obviously defective tire because the other ones were perfectly fine. I was told that because I did not pay extra for the defective tire protection that I would have to pay $79 for a replacement. So, what is that? A defective tire clearly is something that is out of control of Discount Tire and Myself. However, I should not have to pay anything for a defective tire. The tire should simply be replaced. So I've been a customer of Discount Tire since 1994. Frankly I am tired of paying for additional warranties and loopholes while doing business with Discount Tires. Big O Tires does not play with their customers in this manner. I'm switching to Big O moving forward.
Desired outcome: I want my $79 refunded.
