Called originally to extend the warranty on a desktop I had bought and never set up - it was still in the box at the end of the first year. I wanted to extend it for one month while I set it up - I thought dell would say "fine", and give me e month. Instead, they told me (someone in india), that I would have to pay for a month. I wasn't happy. But authorized it for a month. Got a bill from the credit crd company yesterday - had been charged for a second month - called, and was told I was put on a subscription - which was not what I agreed to!
Spent 40 minutes on the phone today, being transferred over and over - having to tell the story over and over - and being reassured the next person would be the right person. Ultimately was told by a "supervisor" that they could not refund me a month, because I had already used the month - that that was how subscriptions work! [censored], I didn't subscribe!
Now they say they will send it to "corporate", and they will call me - so I can plead again to get $9.00 back - what a screwed up company-! No one in all the people I spoke with has the authority to write off $9.00?
Don't buy a thousand dollar computer from a company with no customer service!
