The agents defy to resolve my problem with my washing machine. I contacted defy on 13-06-2008 and my machine was checked by a tecnician on
17-06-2008 after two calls to speed the process.
My machine was stripped of a part and was told that another team member will collect the machine. I contacted them today(19-06-08), spoke to alvin and was told that the machine will be collected on mon. Or tuesday(23/24-06-08).
This is pathetic service from your supplier defy. All i need is the machine to be repaired as i do not have the time to phone and create bad freindship with people on the oter side. This is a urgent issue.

    All recipes in defy literature are claimed to be the products of the present lady employed in the defy kitchen when in fact most of the recipes are the work of mrs.Helene herbst who developed those recipes over many, many years of trial and devotion to defy products.

    At least have the decency to credit her work and recipes.

    I submitted a complain about my defy twin tub washing machine on the 1 june 2019, it is the 7 june 2019 today i was phoned today to be told that you guys will phone me on monday the 10 june, what is this? It is totally unacceptable for business. Obviously i will never buy a defy product again because your after sales responds time is sickening.

    Called in on the 18th October 2018, technician arrived on the 19th October and has not returned.
    Todays excuse was that the systems were down and that DEFY would not release the part !
    We are certainly not ones to complain but this service is horrific, do all your retailers know about this after sales non-service ?

    Good day,
    Bought my new dishwasher today. Tried to remove the sticker as per photo's attached - WAS NOT IMPRESSED. Defy can at least spend a few rands extra when procuring stickers.

    I Purchased a new Dishwasher model DDW176 from Game on the 17th April 2017 and reported to Game that it had stopped working on the 20th August 2018.a Technician was sent out who advised that the PC Board needed replacement however the product is not available in Gauteng and as at today I am still the proud owner of a broken Dishwasher

    Defy they are the poorest when it comes to customer services i regret why did i purchased a freezer from them. I have been waiting for almost two month now without a freezer

    I will not advice anyone to buy from Defy

    I phone this morning Devy Bloemfontein to ask if somebody can come ASAP to my home - I have a load of washing in my machine and it smells like rubber is burning. The guy on the line told me it will take 2 -4 days before they can send somebody out, Thats not on because of the clothes in the machine...

    Good Day I have always been a good supporter of Defy but now I have been having to much trouble from their equipment will not support Defy anymore that is a fact. My Defy Fridge made to last for 3 years and the motherboard packs up. It was told to me from the technician that Defy makes things not to last for long so that you cannot find spares that you have to purchase a new equipment from them. The stock they put out on the selves 2 years max and they discontinue the item manufacture something new then you dont find the spares for your equipment and you have to purchase a new one. This is unexceptable from now on I will only support LG or Samsung.

    Defy Skottelgoedwasser.

    Ek het n Defy skottelgoedwasser gekoop in September 2015 by Game Kathu in die Noord-Kaap. Ons het geukkel om die skottelgoed skoon te kry en my vrou moes na elke was dit oorwas met die hande. Ons het gedink ons ken nie die masjien nie. Nadat ons alle seep op die rakke gebruik het kon die fout noe meer aan ons kant wees nie. Die 12de Desember 2015 het ek dit gaan raporteer by Game Kathu waar hulle vir Defy Upington gekontak het om na die masjien te kom kyk. Hulle het my geskakel en ons het ooreen gekom dat hulle my weer op die 28ste Desember sal skakel om n dag in daardie week te bevestig. Hulle het eers die 4de Januarie 2016 weer kontak met my gemaak. Die persoon se verskoning was dat hy op verlof was... warom dan vir my se hy sal my die 28 ste Desember skakel as hy weet hy gaan op verlof wees. (Uiters Swak). Ons het ooreengekom dat hy die 6de Jauarie na die masjien kom kyk. Hulle het n klein Pc bordjie vervang en was spoedig daar weg sonder om enige iets te toets... die masjien wou van daaraf glad nie begin was of niks nie. Ek het die dag daarna vir die tegnikus ( as jy dit so kan noem) n sms gestuur en gese die masjien werk nou glad nie. Hyt gese hy sal Defy in kennis stel. Nog n week het verby gegaan, ek was weer by Game maar die keer om my geld terug te vra. Hulle het laat ek self met Rudi praat by Defy waar hy net geweier het dat ek n refund kry of n nuwe masjien. Hyt net heeltyd gepraat van die masjien het n 2 jaar herstel waarborg. Ons was later in n argument betrokke waar hy die foon in my ore dood gedruk het en hulle kon hom nie weer in die hande kry nie. Hulle het gese dat die tegnikus weer moet uitkom om na die masjien te kom kyk voor daar verdere besluite geneem kan word. Daar het nog n week verby gegaan en niks gehoor van Defy nie. Die 28ste was ek weer by Game om uit te vind of hulle enige iets gehoor het van Defy... na n halfuur wat die verkoops mense probeer het om Defy in die hande te kry het die bestuurder van haar privaat selfoon af vir Defy probeer bel maar geen antwoord... Te danke aan Game het hulle my n refund gegee en kon ek R600 by sit en vir my n BOSH masjien koop. En ek is baie baie tevrede met hom... was van begin af soos n nuwe een. Defy was nog nie in kennis gestel nie en het my vandag 02/02/2016 eers gebel amper n week en n half nadat ek by Game was...ek het vir die vrou gese hulle diens is pateties en hoe lank moet ons nog wag... Sy het dood eenvoudig die foon in my oor dood gedruk... ek het 4 keer die nr terug gebel waar hulle nie opgetel het 3 van die kere nie en die 4de keer die foon doodgedruk... DEFY UPINGTON SE DIENS IS UITERS SWAK... hulle het gemaak dat ek in my lewe nie weer Defy sal koop nie.

    Ek het n KIC yskas gehad vir 22 jaar en het in daardie tyd geen probleem gekry met hom nie, maar die het gebreek en ek kon nie meer onderdele vir hom kry nie so moes ek toe noodgedwonge vir my n nuwe yskas/frieskas gaan koop, , , ( ek het n DEFY gekoop omdat die verkoops persoon my megedeel het dat dit die BESTE is op die mark MAAR MAAR tot my bitere speit, die yskas kombenasie is tans net uit sy waarborg uit en het reeds gebreek, ek moes n nuwe motor laat insit het wat my n bedrag van R 1750 gekos het, en die mense van DEFY het hom by my huis kom haal en gese hulle gaan hom weer vir my terug bring ek moes hom toe op die einde self gaan haal en daar gekom word ek van eenkant na ander kant gestuur, ek het nie net my motor verloor nie maar ook al my wildsvleis daarby saam, ek het geskakel om te hoor waar julle is in Oos Londen en die dame wat die foon daar by julle { diens sentrum } antwoord is BAIE BAIE ongemenierd en weet nie hoe om met ons as klieente te praat nie en sy behoort nie in so n pos te wees nie . Wat julle produk betref dit van die swekste wat op die mark is en ek sal al my famielie en friende en kennise laat weet watse swak gehalte produk DEFY is en dat hulle ook hulle friend moet laat weet om GEEN produk van DEFY te koop nie, want dit breek maklik en roes binne n jaar en dan sit jy as klieent met die probleme

    I BOUGHT A DEFY TOPLOADER FROM HOUSE AND HOME BRITS.I WENT IN TO THE BRANCH ON THE 30/05/2014 TO TELL THEM MY MACHINE IS NOT WORKING AND IT IS STILL UNDER GUARENTEE.THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT BAFANA WILL PHONE ME TO REPORT THIS MATTER TO DEFY.HE DID.THEY TOOK A WEEK AFTER SO MANY CALLS FROM ME AND BAFANA FOR A TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT TO CHECK THE MACHINE.THEY WERE THERE ONLY ON YHE 20/06/2014.THE TECHNICIAN HIS NAME IS JUSTIN SAID THEY MUST ORDER A GEARBOX FOR THE MACHINE.UP TO NOW THE1/07/2014 NOT ONE WORD OR CALL FROM DEFY.I PHONED AND THEY SAID THEY ARE STILL WAITING THE PART.I'M WITHOUT A WACHING MACHINE FOR A MONTH NOW.I PAID CASH FOR MY MACHINE.VERY POOR SERVICE FROM DEFY.I NEED A WASHING MACHINE IF YOU CANT FIX IT REPLACE IT.VERY DISSAPOINTED IN DEFY MRS VAN STADEN [protected]

    I purchased a Defy F600ML mirror door fridge. The water pipe to the water dispenser has burst for the second time due to a poor design of the pipe. I have previously paid over R17 000 for the fridge and over R4500 for the first water pipe.
    Defy wants me to pay another R3000 for a new door.
    Is this reasonable?
    DONT BUY DEFY!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR AND PRODUCTS ARE INFERIOR.

    On the 13th May 2008 i purchased a Defy Oven from National Appliances & V distributors in Lenasia.
    Unfortunalty the oven was the incorrect size and therfore i called the Agent and requested for the oven to be changed.
    He has been promising me from the date of Purchase, until now that there is no stock available and as soon as the stock is received he will have it changed.

    It is now 3 months, and i find this impossible for Defy not to have the availabilty of the Oven of my choice.

    The oven has not been used and it is Brandnew.

    Please assist and advise me on my wayforward from her.


    Your assistance and urgency in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
