DazzleWhite ad. intended to trick people, debit their accts

After looking at the msn website at news, iwas not looking for an ad for whitening teeth but one looked good. Too good. Said free sample, only pay postage, the ad stressed this. This ad I feel was purposely used in this way to get peoples attention. People like me, if they could afforded something for $250.00 would of bought crest white strips or went to the dentist. This is a lot of money to me. I couldnt pay my electric bill and other bills. I guess the fine lines read, after 10 days return if you dont like, thats a joke too, it can't be used, and by then they have charged you almost 80.00 twice. I also have been charged for 90.00 and haven't recieved anything. At the time when our economy is bad, people do look for bargains, we are being taken advantage of. I really needed this money. I had my debit card cancelled. Also when I called the bank to see what and why the money was taken out they said it was a scam. The numbers by the debits, one was no longer working, the other never answered. I actually did get blisters in my mouth on top of that, girls at work are witness to this. Please, this company is taking advantage of people who don't have much to live on. Look on their websites, look at how many people they have taken. It's sad that they have no integrity. I so far have lost $250.00. Alot to me, I have a son in college and medical bills. I would very much appreciate you looking into this matter. May god help us, forgive us, and guide us. Those of who have been taken have learned a lesson, still yet, the ad was very, very misleading. Thank you.

DazzleWhite misleading advertising

The same thing has happened to me although the charge of $79.95 is still pending on my account. I've canceled the "free no risk trial" with both Clean Whites and Dazzle Smile, however since I didn't send the product back to clean whites AT MY OWN COST before the 14 day trial was over (which started the day I ordered it so I had less than a week to do anything about it) their charge got through to my credit card. Of course they won't tell you on the website where it has to be shipped back to. You have to call, and out of the 5 different numbers I've been able to track down, I can't get anyone on the phone. So that's how they get you, because you have no chance of sending it back in time. Yeah, they make it sound so easy to just cancel and not get charged, but it's the biggest nightmare ever.
I contacted my bank, canceled my card and they put a block on those two companies. Once the charge clears, I can file a dispute. I've also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. If anyone has already looked into a class action lawsuit against these companies I would love some more information. I think everyone who has filed a complaint should post their email address here. The more people we can get involved the better chance we'll have at getting somewhere. Please feel free to email me if you have info about a lawsuit, or just to give me your email address so I can start compiling a list of everyone this has happened to. -- fragile.[protected]@hotmail.com

I agree this is a scam. I did not receive any information in the package for DazzleSmile, just a tube of something I'm not using. I did not even order this mess. I found out I was billed through a third party affiliate. The representative said this was totally legal. BS, if I agree to order something from one company does not mean I agree to order from everyone they are affiliated with. People should be informed of these things. If companies are legal then they should not have any reason to hide things from the consumers, and maybe then they would get better business. I am piosting mailing instructions to return their crap back to them. On the phone they do not voluntarily tell you that the product can be returned in the trial period, and you will not be billed.

CleanWhites and DazzleSmile are two disgusting divisions of the same parent scamming operation. I've shopped online for years, and have never experienced such a fraudulent, misleading, operation. The site that I found in the first place, like others have reported, which no longer exists. It used a fake blog format with testimony of a female who supposed discovered a way to whiten her teeth for free and was sharing this invaluable information to the public so they could also benefit. The site suggested to use CleanWhites in conjunction with DazzleSmile for a synergistic result superior to what Professional Dentists could produce. I remember having to click the same "free trial" box located near the top of the page twice, but the only charges I saw were the measly $1-$2 shipping charges that I was agreeing to. Many reasonable people are being sucked into this scheme due to the DELIBERATELY MISLEADING nature of the way this operation advertises and hides vital information necessary for honest transactions.

I didn't discover the scam until the CleanWhites arrived and I read the order receipt showing my $.99 charge and "THANK YOU FOR YOUR RISK-FREE TRIAL ORDER!", BOTH in large bold print. At the bottom of the page in small print, however, I noticed that a $79.95 charge would be incurred if I didn't cancel the trial.

The DazzleSmile package didn't even include a receipt or any information hinting at how UNFREE these 'trials' actually are.

After contacting both divisions of this operation and getting the same "you can't cancel without incurring more charges" BS, I paid for the shipping and sent the useless crap back to them. I recorded all correspondence with them, even the the unanswered, unreturned calls & useless online chats. I then contacted my bank and reported this fraud. Probably in order to gather more evidence against these fraudulent criminals, they asked me not to cancel my card until the unauthorized charges hit (the individual I was transferred to seemed to be familiar with this operation), and I was assured I would not be held responsible for further charges. When the unauthorized chrges did appear, they then cancelled my CC and asked me to send my documentation to them.

I'll also send it to the respective Attorney General Offices, and report it at bbb.org, ftc.gov, and post this info on the online fraud sites to warn others to stay away from these frauds until they are shut down and brought to justice.

I noticed that DazzleSmile / DazzleWhite recently switched their name, making it harder for me (and others, I'm sure) to get information on them, and I've also learned that CleanWhites went by different names in the past as well. I'll also be tracking these changes and attempts to play this shell game to escape the scrutiny they deserve.

DazzleWhite erroneous credit card charges

I ordered a Free Trial of tooth whitening decided not to continue as did not like their product. Called Easywhite [protected] and cancelled. They charged me $19.95 to keep the Free Kit which I paid. Next month on my card from DazzleWhite [protected] $1.95 and EasyWhite [protected] $1.83, next month: HealthMember [protected] $7.14 and VH Access [protected] (now disonnected) $3.24, nest month: elitepack [protected] $2.06 and Ezykit [protected] $7.01.

Did some research online and found out these are all the same company or group all connected, they use different names each month and different amounts on your credit card. Most of us do not even notice the small amounts and just pay the card.

This last month I called my credit card company and cancelled my card they will give me a credit of $20 and do some research on their own. I also reported them to Federal Trade commission and Better Business Bureau.

I you Google any of the above phone numbers you will see all the scams and complaints regarding all I have listed. Beware, be careful and report these frauds.

DazzleWhite Unauthorized Visa charges

AOL email had an advertisement for risk-free trial of teeth whitening products from two companies: DazzleWhites and CleanWhites. Upon receipt of the CleanWhites product I read the enclosed information and found that if the unused product was not returned within 14 days of the order date I would be charged $79.99. I returned the product immediately after only using it on day because I wanted to be sure it was received by them before the "charge" date.

The other risk-free tooth whitening product had no such fine print in the enclosed information so I have not returned the product and have been charged $79.28 twice: 9/17 by pristinehlth and 9/24 by beutyclub. This matter is still unresolved.

This is a good scam because no where in the sign-up web sites does it explain the return policy and/or the automatic charges. Getting this straightened out will be difficult. Thank You.

Got me too... Called the CC company they told me they knew about this and it is in the TOS. I found the TOS for the so called free trial... Ill paste it below. But basically they charge you the "shipping" for the free trial and then (even if you cancel) they still charge the monthly fee of $87! So where was the free?

Anyways I called the company (this being my 30th day)... I had them cancel it once I got the confermation number I started about getting my money back for a product I nerither received or ordered. The CSR told me in order to get a refund I would have to be put back on the program until I received it and could send it back. I asked why I was charged in the first place for a product they did not ship. He said the progam he uses normally shows a tracking number for shipped products but mine does not show one. I opted to stay cancled since tomorrow they would likely be charging another monthly fee. What I want to know is what did I pay a membership fee for exactly?

7. Cancellation of Membership. You may cancel your Membership at any time if you are not completely satisfied. If you decide to cancel your Membership prior to the expiration of the fourteen (14) day Trial Membership period, your Active Credit Card will still be charged the fee of Eighty-Seven Dollars and Sixty-Two Cents ($87.62) at the end of the Trial Membership period. The following conditions apply to any cancellation: (a) you shall not receive any pro-rata refund of your Monthly Fees for partial months; (b) you shall not receive any refund for the Shipping and Handling Fee or Foreign Shipping and Handling Fee, as applicable; and (c) you shall not receive any refund for amounts previously paid up to the date of cancellation or termination and you remain liable for any and all unpaid charges billed by Premium White™. They got me too. I was reviewing my bank account on line and seen the $87.62 unauthorized charge with only PRISTINHLTH noted on the statement. I had to think about it before going on line and finding this site. Ironically, my bank called soon after and asked me if I had authorized this EFT, I quickly advised them that this was a SCAM and that I did not authorize the transaction. Unfortunately, the transaction had already occurred. I did however call and cancel any future shipments. I received an e-mail confirmation of the "opt out". We will see. In the mean time I plan to file every complaint with every agency possible and try to recoup the money that was stolen by these SCAM artists.

It's not free! The buyer doesn't find out about the $87.95 charge for each product until after the order is placed and Dazzlewhite has your credit card number to pay the $1.95 shipping charge for each product. Five minutes after placing the order on line I telephoned the company to cancel the order (now knowing about the hidden "free" charges). I was told that the order could not be cancelled because a mailing label was instantly generated. I could return the product within the 14 day "trial period" by following a 5 step procedure with the post office including a delivery confirmation number which had to be phoned in to Dazzlewhite. The products arrived days apart and each had to be returned using the USPS delivery confirmation procedure AND insuring each package for $87.95 which was recommended by the comapny representative. The personnel at the post office agreed it was a scam that they were familiar with. They also suggested that I post this complaint to help others avoid this situation.

I have also been scammed by this mouthful advert of Dazzlewhite..that will help me get a whiter teeth in few weeks or months. they are offering a free sample, just pay the shipping...but i never realized that they are charging me abundantly to my account with different names.. beutyclub that charges me £7.53 when the item/product arrives. I used it and wasted my time and the product has no effect at all to my teeth. And then they charged me again without my authority a £58 to my account with the name Pristinehlth. This advert of DazzleWhite in the internet is a total scam...hope that the authority will do actions about this web scammer and let them answer of the cause they've done to the consumer..Now, people are become reluctant to do trasaction via the internet because of this scammers (Dazzlewhite, beutyclub, pristinehlth) who's intention is to deceived people. Hope all the victims like me...will get refund and that the company(Dazzlewhite) will answer to the authority about the "bogus" business they are doing.

DazzleWhite Scam

After receiving the sample I realized I couldnt use it and also found out I needed to opt out of some kind of membership so I called and told them I would not authorize any further payments or enrollment, yet I was double billed this month (September 2009) for $79 each. I tried to call and cancel again but the number the payments are going to is disconnected. I never received anything for that $160 either! How can I make them give the money back? How do I get a hold of them.

I was able to cancel & send back the unused portion within the time given but was still charged the monthly fee ($87.62 by Varimi LLC). Since I had not receicved the product for that month, I called & requested the charge back. The customer service for DazzleSmile - now Premium White noted that they had credited my account but my bank would not accept the credit. My bank gave me the credit but it is still under investigation to verify whether Dazzle (me not) actually made the credit.

Now I found a charge on my cc for Sup*WorldFit* ($24.13-866.407.5590). Who told me when I ordered DazzleSmile, it was in the fine print. When I asked what it is - I was told workout dvd's can be downloaded once you set up an account & log in. I said, "Well I have not set up an account & I did not authorize the $24.13 charge." He said, "Does that mean you want to cancel the membership?" I said, "Yeah & I want the credit for the $24.13." He said, "As stated when you bought the DazzleSmile, you had 40 days to cancel this World Fit membership." When I called DazzleSmile, they said "People have advertisements but we do not give out customers information & that World Fit lied to me."

I was billed for $80.75 and contacted my credit card company and had that card canceled. I also did not receive any paper work with the sample. I have to contact them and have them send me a refund check. I hope I have some good luck. I am filing a dispute against them with my credit card company and I will let them know the right phone number.

I responded to two trial offers, from DazzleSmile and TotalWhite, on the same day, each for $1.95 S/H. Within the trial period, I called to cancel any further membership and asked what I needed to do to avoid any further charges on my credit card. Both companies told me to mail back the unused portion of the product by October 7. I mailed them with delivery confirmation, and both returns were received at their destinations on October 5.

Yesterday (Saturday) I viewed my credit card activity and saw that I was charged $79.28 by ultifreshwell on October 7. I knew that charge originated from DazzleSmile or TotalWhite, but I didn't know which one! Judging from what I've read here, it's DazzleSmile. (A charge may be yet in store from the other company!) I plan to call the company tomorrow (Monday) to refute the charge, since I did everything according to instructions and have proof to that effect. If the company gives me a hard time, I am going to take the same course of action that David took: contact my credit card company about the fraudulent charge.

Good luck all!

Thks for the info and I hope we all get our hard earned money back from these criminals.

I had the same problem. I finally was able to contact some one on-line through the live chat on the dazzlesmile website and they gave me a working number: [protected].
There was no paperwork with my samples that told me I was enrolling into a membrship that would be billed monthly. I called to cancel and now find I have to mail the samples back to be refunded the 79.28 billed to my debit card and it could take up to 45 days for the refund.

this comment is for Crossmen, if you have already had to cancel your credit cards used and changed the bank account used, how then do they refund you the money?

do they send you a check to the address they shipped to, and if so, wouldn't you wonder if that check would even be good considering the companies business ethics to date?

I just got a bill from POS DEBIT ULTIFRESHWELL [protected] for $79.28.

* Their telephone service is disconnected. This is not a good sign.

I tried the free offer to try the Dazzle white product and didn't join a membership.

I had no idea that I would get hit by a bill like this.

This is a scam.

DazzleWhite misleading trial offer

I have learned a very good lesson about giving out my debit card number to anyone online before checking for complaints about the company I am ordering from. In June, I fell for the "mom's secret tip" on how to get 2 teeth-whitening products and using them together for optimal results. The products were Dazzle White and Easy White and the special codes were "white teeth" and "white smile" respectively. I paid $1.95 for S&H for Dazzle White and $1.83 for S&H for Easy White. The e-mail invoices appeared to be just that, an invoice for receipt of payment. The screen was complete and I did not scroll down any further and THAT is where the terms & conditions were hidden, below the invoice information. Fortunately, Two weeks after receiving the products, another company called PlusWhite billed my account $78.23. They refused to allow me to return the unused product. I went to my bank in person and filled out a dispute form for the amount. They credited my account. Easy White, however DID allow me to return the product (I mailed it return receipt requested). I still was charged $58.76 and filled out another dispute form with my bank. That, too, was credited back to me from my bank. Eventually, Easy White also credited my account back the $58.76, so the bank got repaid. Along the way, though a company called Insider Secrets billed my account (how did they get my acct#?)for $3.24. Not a lot of money, but I never heard of them let alone ordered anything from them. I disputed this also. Unbelievably, they had the nerve to challenge my dispute saying that I had ordered a weight loss program from them and sent my bank a printout of my supposed transaction detail showing my name/address/phone#/acct#. How they got this detailed information is beyond me and unsettling. As their bogus charge was made at the exact same time as the Dazzle White/Easy White fiasco, I am certain that these companies are somehow aligned. The only funny part about this whole thing is that the $3.24 charge was supposedly for a weightloss product, whose website is www.weightlossebookmembership.com. I am a 6 foot tall female, weighing 135 lbs. and am in no need for a weigh loss product of any kind! Although this is a very small amount, the fact that my account information was made available to this company is, I believe, something which needs to be addressed. Fortunately, my neighbor is a Vice President at my bank and is not going to let this drop. I can only hope that these companies will be exposed and prosecuted. Did I learn a valuable lesson? YES. I will stick to ordering products only from very reputable companies like Amazon and I will advise everyone I know to check for complaints before being drawn into an advertisement on the internet.

If you havent purchased this product then please, DONT! If you have and, like myself, want to see justice royally kick them up the ### then keep reading.

Scam 1: "free trial" for a teeth whitening product. They automatically take out a "holding fee" of $87.62 in case you dont return the product within 14 days. Heres the catch, you don't recieve the item before 10 days therefore not allowing you any time to return it within the 14 day "free" timeframe. if you do attempt to return it be aware of the hefty shipping costs YOU will have to pay.

Scam 2: You wont read the terms and conditions due to their unethical location; they are placed off screen as you have to scroll down to order, therefore you will miss the actual 6pt highly ambiguous "terms and conditions"

Scam 3: Not only do they sign you up for the "World Fitness" shamble, of which you will never recieve and has actually been patented by a company in the UK whom have no affiliaton with this scam. But they will also sign you up for UNMENTIONED, UNAUTHORISED third party transactions. "Beuty Club" sound familiar anyone? and yes, thats how it was inccorectly spelt.

Scam 4; The online support is a sham. Most responses are automated and the rest are diversion tactics. They will not supply you with an actual address for the purposes of issuing legal proceedings. They will give you phony numbers and the royal run around.

Yes i was bloody taken by this scam and I'm furious. It goes without saying that you should never cross an angry law student! I'm all for legal action against this scam! This is international fraud. I'm aware that this has effected many countries so i would be interested in co-ordinating a world wide concurrent class action suit. We would need representatives in each country that could compile all information and complaint testimonials relevant to their respective country. The power of this information combined is enormous! On its own, individual complaints will get lost among st the rest of individual complaints. Once we have a global indication of the extent of this scam we can forward all our collective information to each and every trade organisation. Next, we can obtain media attention. Anyone from Australia will be aware of A Current Affairs, a program which seeks out and exposes these scams on television. I can work on Australian media however, representatives of the USA, New Zealand, UK and any other nation would have to employ their own media coverage (although i will try and help).
I wont lie this will be time consuming for anyone who dares take on these ### If you have enough rage over such an abhorrent scheme, a scheme which i have read has ripped off money from a breast cancer charity, then please send me an email.
Please bare with me if i take a while to reply as i am researching the most effective means of countering these ### and not just shutting them down for good, but to make them an example of how the public has had enough! and yes, one person can make a difference.
You will rue the day you met me dazzle white/Brite- smile ...

email me; scamsexposed@hotmail.com

Please help by providing any information you can come accross which may help this investigation. And please leave your story below, this way we can save others from making such a huge mistake.

Ps; IGNORE the regurgitated response above from apparent "representatives" of this company. The same drivel has been posted next to any internet complaint.

Pps; i will be posting this same message on every and all sites where i find complaints, please feel free to copy my post and do the same. Spread the word, enough is enough!

I agree with the intial comment entered here. Dazzle White should be prosecuted along with these third party companies they are sharing your informaiton with. Do not believe the response from obviously a Dazzle White representative.

Dazzle White and it's affiliates ought to be ashamed of themselves. They claim their terms and conditions are obviously visible on their website's ordering page. IT IS NOT. It's conveniantly displayed in the smallest font size available and is located in an obscure area of their web page.

And, the fact they are sharing your information and credit card number to other companies is a CRIME!

DazzleWhite liar, thief

Don't purchase anything from Dazzlewhite!
I always considered myself a cautious consumer, but certainly it is not true this time. I ordered a trial offer ($1.95) from DAZZLEWHITE last month, and before I submitted my information, I made sure to check there is no conditional statement. After several days, my credit card was charged $79.28 from a company named "ultifreshwell. " Ten days later, my account was changed $ 79.28 again but with a different name "pristinehlth." I searched online and found that both names are associated with DAZZLEWHITE. At the same time, I received three whitening pens from Dazzlewhite, which I never ordered. I called the company, the representative insisted that it is my fault, if I don't call to cancel, they will keep sending me products. When I ordered the trail offer, I checked carefully and did not notice any conditional statement. How could they be such a shameless liar? Yesterday, I found my credit card was charged $ 8.53 from "ezykit", which is another name used by DAZZLEWHITE. I mailed their products back (paid postage by myself), called my credit card company to resolve these dispute charges and closed my credit card account.

I just can't believe such a deceitful company exists in a civilized country. Shouldn't their managers be put in jail?

When you placed the order, you probably did not read the terms and conditions that went along with it. You probably agreed to a "RISK FREE TRIAL". After the trial period is over the company probably attempted to bill you the remaining balance because you did not return the unused portion. I suggest you contact the company, and get return instructions. You should still be within the timeframe to return the remaining portion. I also suggest you go back and read the terms and conditions you agreed to when you placed the order. There is nothing illegal that they are doing. You must be very careful and fully read the terms and conditions when you are agreeing to a trial.

DazzleWhite overcharged

I ordered a free trial of the dazzle white pen, and three days after I received the pen, I received whitening trays and gels tubes that I didnt order. I looked at my bank account and I had been charged $49.41 for this product. I called the customer service and they said I could return it for a $43 refund but I had to pay for the shipping. So I am getting charged $7 for nothing, they tried to sasy that I signed up for it when on my invoice it only had one item, the dazzle pen. and they never set an email confirmation for anything.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered a pen and when it came they sent trays but, charged my account 158.00. I called to cancel but, they said it was too late that their terms and conditions are posted. I cancelled on the phone right then and there with the customer service rep, I repeatedly asked her now this is cancelled and my account won't be charged anymore money and she said yes, we alread have the 158.00 which they refused to give back and then two weeks later after i cancelled they charged my account 90.00 dollars. This is fraud and I am contacting my attorney generl and filing charges as well as the BBB. Beware of this scam...

I was also scamed, not only by this company but by their partner company. They said I had 14 days to call and cancel my free trial to see if the stuff worked and they went into my checking account on the 6th day and took $79.95 and so I canceled both immediatly and a few days later dazzle brite went in and took $87.62 out. I opened the box from the 1st company and all you get is two little rubber, football mouth pieces and two injector type pins with a clear gel in it. I could go to the dentist and have it done right for what these scam companies are ripping me off for. Oh, and I never recieved the product from dazzle brite either. The teeth whitening trick discovered by a local mom is what got this whole mess started with me.

Please be careful and don't get taken in with these false advertisments

I had the exact same thing happen to me! I am so very unhappy about this. I ordered the gel pens with the trial offer and was charged 2.95 SH, in addition I was charged 48.92 for tooth trays. I called CS and the operator told me a call was made to the phone number provided and I accepted the offer for the trays and at that point the trays were sent. That phone has been OFF for a week and no call was received. He then told me he would send out the return materials and it would take 10-14 days to get my refund AFTER they received the trays back. When I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor, he told me that was not possible. This is a scam...do not order unless you want the additional 50.00 charge!

This web site claims to have a FREE TRAIL that you have to qualify for . for a teeth whitening product. The catch is if you do not return it within 14 days(at your expense) you will be charged $58.00 and will continue to receive the product every month until you cancel. There is nothing FREE. It will cost you to deliver and to return and if you keep the product you will be charged FULL PRICE. Again NOTHING FREE! FALSE ADVERTISING.

They have charged my credit card $87.62. I also found the phone number listed next to their name to be disconnected. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company and they are filing a complaint with this company's bank.

I read an advertisement sent to my email by this company about teeth whitening. I responded by ordering a trial sample and i was charged £9.26. The advertisement did not tell me I was going to be signed on to three other companies namely, Beauty Club, Ultifreshwell and Healthsmile.
Dazzlewhite have since been taking money from my account without my knowledge. On 5th October, 2009 my account was debited for £51.22 in favour of Ultifreshwell and on 12th October, 2009, my account was debited for £50.91 in favour of Healthsmile.
Once again, I have not authorise these debit nor have I signed to these club. I have not received any products from these companies ever since.

I also signed up to a trial of Dazzlewhite.com after being referred through Irelandfreestuff.com. They said the billing charges would be 4.95 USD but initially was 14.95 usd. I put that down to international charges and that I may have read the wrong price. Since then they have taken over 5o dollars every month for past 3 months - and I am now getting taken for small amounts from other companies - 4.95 here 7.95 there - for things I have never heard of. Am mortified and feel such a fool. Fraud dept at credit card company won't deal as I gave them my credit card number for the trial - even though other companies are now using it. I am waiting to deal with retail disputes but doubt I will get anywhere with them - except perhaps to stop the overseas charges. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - and strike irelandfreestuff.com from your list as well as these have been no help either. They are supposed to vet the companies they send to you. I should have known seeing as they are based in Canada. IDIOT.

DazzleWhite Unauthorised withdrawals

How did you hear about them? Let me guess: you received an email?
So you actually OPEN and READ spam email?
Well congratulations! You are the living reason why we have spam in the first place!

Or was it one of the pop-up windows or an online ad that got you to actually click them?

And then you fall for those "free" offers and you gladly give out all your personal information and your CREDIT CARD number to help cover the small shipping fee.
If you really can't help it and your need for any of these "products" offered in all those spam messages, then at least get a VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD. You still have to provide your real name and billing address but you can pick your own CREDIT LIMIT and EXPIRATION DATE. So set them to $6 and 2 months and your credit card company will only let the initial $6 shipping fee go through but will decline any additional charges.

Keep in mind: YOU GIVE THEM A FREE PASS when you provide them with your REAL credit card information.
By using such a virtual one you never have to worry about the hassle of canceling an order - it cancels itself when the attempt to charge the credit card fails. If you really like the product (and I doubt that will EVER happen) then you can increase the limit on your virtual card.
But again, why do you order a product promoted by SPAM email?

Oh and one more thing about the virtual CC feature: It locks in the first merchant who charges the card. Even if they take the "liberty" of selling your CC information to other scam partners you can relax ... their petty attempts will automatically fail even if your card is still active and has not reached the limit you set for it. What a NEAT little pest this can be for those scam artists :)

I guess I didn't see all the terms for Dazzle white, but I did return your products, a set of three tubes, but I was charged $58.00 twice on my Visa bill and a day apart . I was charged the $58.00 and I thought that the sample was free for trying and if I kept the sample after fourteen days you would send the next batch of Dazzle. Now I return your products which probably was after 30 days, but when I called nothing was mention within 30 days. You got your return products and I was out of $116.00 I don't see any fairest I lost $116.00 when I returned my product I wrote a little note with no respond of you receiving it back. I really thought my credit card would have a credit showing the return. No respond from you in the mail or my e-mail I felt like you have taken a advantage of me with no credit refund from the one I mailed back to you.
When I ordered the Dazzle I didn't see a price for your product until I got your two bills. I think I deserve a refund of $58.00 for one of the orders. I probably would have the Dazzle I did see a difference in whiter teeth, but now I feel I've been taken a advantge of because no credit to my card.
I would like a responds from you on this matter. If I paid for your products I think you should return the 3 tubes that I paid for.

DazzleWhite Scam

They hook you by offering a free trial of their products for a minimal shipping fee. After that, they sign you up with a bunch of different companies who keep sticking it to you for different amounts of money. The products are ridiculously priced and will be shipped to you monthly once they get your account information. I cancelled well within the trial period once I knew what they were up to and I'm still getting charged on my account every few days. Visa knew all about these crooks. Some guy named Leo Gold is running the show.

DO NOT BUY IT! It is a total scam! It is suppose to be a free trial for 10 days for $3.95 shipping cost only. They went and charged $87.47 on my card before I even got the products. The products came in a plastic bag without any instructions. I don't trust it so I called in to cancel and demanded my money back. Instead of a credit (which they had promised) I got charged again for $126.42. I had to change my cc account # to stop future charges. The people who answer the phone are all foreign with a UK accent. The line is always staticky like talking to another country - even though they say they are from FL. Right! This company needs to be sued!

Needless to say I called the company @ [protected] and was told I should of read the fine print of the agreement, and told them I did and it said that I had 14 day trial period to cancel. I placed my order on 1-06-09 and cancelled my membership on 1-14-09 and was told their was no furthur charges. So know when I called back tonight they said that I had a 5 day cancellation period, now which is it? This company is nothing but a bunch of crooks out for money, well we all need money but we don't rip people off for it, we do a honest job to earn that. This company is so distrusting, lying, out right mean. Please feel free to ask for any information that I can help anyone with. I called my credit card company and pursuing furthur options.

I'm another victim of the scam who has been charged $129. Today when I checked my credit card statement online, I found this item. I searched "smilekit" immediately to figure out what's happening, then I got here. After reading all of comments above, I think I will have no choice except contacting my credit card company to ask for help. I hope I can at least avoid further lost in my account.

I too, fell for this scam. I got lucky. I had a credit card with only $30 on it. They got my inital $2 before I even got off the phone with them. The guy at the customer service office got mouthy with me and asked me if I read the fine print. It wasn't available until after I agreed. He told me I would be charged full price since I cancelled my "free trial" The joke was on them. I called my credit card company and had them cancel the card. The lady (at the bank) did tell me that they had tried to put another $89 on my card.. while I was on the phone with the bank. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..

This is definitely a scam and cost me almost $400! Called my credit card company and they were aware of it, but couldn't do anything about the charges. Ask your credit card company to change your account number immediately!

In the same boat here. It's a scam and I just notice that they now use different name (Alice/Christine/Cynthia/Lavern/...) to post to scamfound.com (as it has a feed from complaintsboard.com), bs about what customer service is their top 1 priority. I had responded to all this reply on scamfound.

I urge everyone if you see they post this again on any other board, post a direct reply as soon as you can to counter it.

I have been through the same problems as all of you. I am on board with a class action law suit! However, the number listed above 8/6/6-(5/2/8)-(6/2/1/4) does reach an operator. I have canceled my "membership" from renewing automatically but I am still out for the initial "membership." I have not yet received any product. I came to this web page after trying to Google a customer service number for Vibrant Smile and found this number and I was able to use it to reach a person who placed a replacement order... I was assured that there would be no additional charge, given that I have never received the initial product order and this is to replace it. I don't have a lot of faith in the process but hopefully they come through and at least deliver the product I have paid for! I think it's ### for the initial order to have never made it to my house. I'll find out in 4-7 business days if Vibrant Smile (or whoever it is that answers their phones) can deliver on their end of this ### deal. It'd be nice to know that I'll at least get to use my non-refundable year long "membership" to continue ordering the product if I wish to use it again.

This is a scam. You will be charged for a yearly membership you did not sign up for. If you call within the time period to cancel they will say they changed their terms and you CANNOT cancel anymore. Then they hang up on you. Contact your credit card company right away.

I am so aggrivated with this. It really is terrible how companies will get over on people. This company is completely unwilling to resolve the problem with cancelling a "trial" membership. They refuse to cancel eventhough their "policy" states they will cancel if the customer is not satisfied with the service. So much for following their own policies. I hope that anyone that is considering a "trial" of vibrant smiles will look online to see what there is to say about this company. I know that I will have nothing positive to say about this company.

DazzleWhite SCAM!!!!!!!!!

This company is a scam... I didn't receive my free trial until after the trial period was over and they know I didn't receive it from the tracking number, their sorry for any problems but they've got to charge me anyway $79xx, because the product wasn't returned back to them in time... please explain how to return a product I didn't receive. Yes my product finally came 5 days after the trial was over and they couldn't extend the free trial date... I don't believe that at all. If they want a respectable company, they could! I have no interest in trying the product now, I'm to disgusted with the company... I'll go to the store and buy whats on the shelf and I won't have to wait for it in the mail or talk to anyone on the phone trying to figure out where it's at. Dazzle White Pro... NO THANKS! I'LL PASS.

DazzleWhite Unauthorized withdrawls from bank accounts

To Whom It May Concern:

I observed an offer on AOL by Dazzlewhite for a teeth whitening product advertised @ $4.95 for S&H only. On Wednesday 9/16/2009 I examined my checking account and noticed numerous withdrawls by White Smile, Beuty Club (sic) in various amounts in the range of nearly $80 plus withdrawls for "Kit Access" for $8.95 coupled with other charges "currency adjustments" another scam because allegedly they have a firm in Canada. I engaged a subject "Falon" a customer rep, in an online chat. This rep was not forthcoming in information on how to get reimbursed until I mentioned I was reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission and other regulatory agencies and law enforcement. On Thurs 9/17 I responded to my financial institution and a officer of the bank and I called the various phone#'s [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. We called them twice and each called produced another customer rep announcing different company names. One rep very polite read off a scripted response and stated "she would take my complaint and forward it to "Corporate" 3600 Army Post Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50321. I was fortunate to catch this criminal enterprise and wonder how many people were scammed by these thieves! The only dazzle I received was from the bs the alleged reps gave me when I called. When I called it sounded as if they were operating out of cave in Afghanistan. Forget ACORN they have nothing on these people. So folks, beware!

I live in London and I signed up for the trial too and had £2.95, £7.35 and £30.21 all taken out on the same day by various associate companys (beutyclub, wellbhealth, Glorioussmiles). So I e-mailed and phoned them to tell them to cancel my account and that I would be returning their product in order to get a refund which I did but they did'nt refund me as they said they would.

Thinking that was the end of it and my account with them was cancelled they then dipped their hands into my account again to take £55.03 under another alias (sup*smilebright United States) and I had'nt even recieved any more products. At this point I went to my bank and had them cancel all future transactions with them with what I thought was with immediate effect untill another 'card purchase' was made to yet more unauthorised companys ( Sup*worldfit United States, Sup*smilebright United States) for £15.57 and £56.07.

I have since received letters from my bank which states that it takes 31 days to cancel my accounts with these companys as they have 'continuous authority' for this time while they remove my details. Being half way through that time I phoned the bank only to be told that they had done what they could by sending the cancelation notice and that any transactions during this notice period could not be claimed back only after the 31 days are up could the bank take action. IVE BEEN SCREWED!

I am completely distraught and hope anyone thinking of taking this trial reads this post first! dont get fleeced! Also if anyone has any advice on getting my money back please e-mail me at richardwhite619@hotmail.com

A FACT; EVEN IF YOU GET A CANCELATION NUMBER, IT WILL NOT BE WORTH A RED CENT. FORGET ABOUT GETTING A REFUND. THIS COMPANY MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW THE "STEPS" REQUIRED TO GET THE SCAM STOPPED. BELIEVE ME, YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR MONTHS FOR PRODUCTS YOU NEVER HEARD OF. STEP ONE...CLOSE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD (TELL THEM YOU LOST IT, IF NECESSARY). BANK OF AMERICA IS AWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS AND WILL ISSUE YOU A NEW CARD NUMBER JUST TO STOP THE FRAUDULANT CHARGES WHICH WILL RUN INTO HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. STEP TWO: LEARN THIS LESSON...NEVER, EVER AGAIN ORDER A SAMPLE FROM THE INTERNET.
STEP THREE: NEVER USE A DEBIT CARD...IF YOU DO, YOU MUST CLOSE YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY OR BE PREPARED TO BE BILLED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR PRODUCTS WHICH YOU NEVER HEARD OF, NEVER ORDERED AND CANNOT STOP.

I have been ordering things online for years and have NEVER had any problems until I came across this company. I ordered a sample face cream and voila, I have three charges totalling over $200 canadian $$ on my visa card. Boy do I feel duped.
I called my credit card company right away and she told me to call the company, request the name of the person with whom I speak, request a cancellation #, an address that I can return the unused product and then return the product(s) and keep a record of it all. After 30 days of sending the product they are suppose to refund the $$$. I won't hold my breath but will try it and see what happens. $200 plus is a lot of money for something I haven't received. A total scam. Avoid this company like the plague!

DazzleWhite FRAUD & ILLEGAL CHARGES

These two companies are FRAUDS and charge you illegally. I purchased a free trial after reading a story on the internet that a mom used these two products to whiten her teeth and only purchased a free trial! Yeah right...far from free. I paid what I thought was a $1.95 and $0.95 shipping fee for the free trials, but then after looking at my credit card bill, I was charged weird amounts for weird things that I had no idea what they were. Every week I kept getting charged $92.37 and $79.28 in addition to other charges from other companies. What they do is change the name of the charge and amount and in the long run they are screwing you over! DON'T PURCHASE ANY FREE TRIALS FROM DAZZLE WHITE OR DENTA WHITE! IT'S A SCAM AND BIG TIME FRAUD!

I too fell for the blog post, which is not normally something I do. I looked everywhere for a catch, something that would indicate that there was more to it than meets the eye, that I'd be charged something more later on. It would be wise to just cancel my credit card, report it lost/stolen, and have the bank send me a new one so that these ### can't charge me this money.

Avoid these companies at all costs, they don't mention that you are joining a service and claim to be offering "free samples" but then you have to return the sample (which was "free"), pay for shipping, both hassles and if they don't get your shipment of useless, empty sample tubes and used trays ("for proper disposal?!") within the 30 day time period they do not cancel the charges of $79.00 / mo.

This is not to mention "Cleanwhites" is awful to have in your mouth for more than 10 minutes, at which point you might as well have a drool bucket strapped around your neck.

Total waste of time and a complete and total fraud.

AVOID Dazzle White, Cleanwhites, Smile Brite, and anything in between...

DazzleWhite internet fraud, trial product, recurring membership

If you've been SCAMMED out of additional charges after your *Free* 14-day trial of Dazzle White teeth brightening product... I urge you to cancel the creditcard# you made the initial purchase, file a dispute with your bank, file a complaint with the BBB and call or write to Moniker Online Services who is the owner of these fraudulent websites. Whoever _they_ are they have flagged their record as "client_delete_prohibited" ... which probably means they're making sooo much $$$ ripping people off that their ISP/IHP (internet hosting provider) loves them. This has got to stop! Why won't any legitimate news organization or government consumer-protections agency shut them down?

DazzleWhite Internet trial fraud

I am unemployed and was scammed by promotions for DazzleWhite and CleanWhites 14-day trials. Neither product worked as advertised, and additional charges appeared on my checkcard before my trial was even over! I also acrued several "Foreign transaction fees" because they charged the product to an offshore company. My initial $1.95 and $0.99 purchase has increased to $49.95+.06+.03+$6.99+0.21 and $79.28 additional charges. Is there any chance of getting a refund? What these people are doing is ILLEGAL!

I used WhoIs.net to identify the owner of several of the websites running the full-page promotions for DazzleWhite, CleanWhites and some for Acai berry products; clearly SCAMMING visitors by pretending to be a *local* NEWS Paper/TV article with logos of ABC, FOX, CNN etc. The fine print however states the site has no relation to any news affiliate and logos are property of their owners. Many of these sites are hosted by GoDaddy. I called their number, explained that I'm not a customer but wish to file a complaint against a fraudulent site of their's.

I strongly suggest when you come across another such fake-ad/promotional-page use http://whois.net to lookup the owner or hosting provider and contact them.

These crooks got me too! I ordered for their $.99 14-day trial and thought I'd try it. Well 3 days after ordering and not even receiving the product I got charged $1.00 plus $50.95. What the HELL! I never agreed to that. I received a order confirmation call not even an hour after ordering online where they said I would get charged the $.99 and if not happy it's risk free and just send back the product bla bla bla... Okay well when I saw the charges I called to complain and cancel the order all together. After calling and waiting for a actual person which took hours...HOURS. They tried to tell me they didn't have any record of me ordering their product...WHAT THE HELL! Why am I getting confirmation calls and emails from them thanking me for ordering plus getting money taken out of my bank for the product huh? Not once but twice... Then the girl said that she talked to her supervisor who said that I needed to send in my bank statement to verify I did get charged before they were able to proceed with cancelling my order and getting a refund. Are you kidding me. Hell No I'm not sending these people anymore information about me. I asked to talk to the supervisor directly and the girl just said "Oh well the supervisor will tell you the same thing that I just said" If I could have reached through that phone I would have at that point. Plus I just received the product that they had no record of me getting... Screw this.. I called my bank and they cancelled my card and blocked these scammers from taking anything else out plus are disputing this. I have called and left the company at least 20 messages to resolve this with all my information and order numbers and still to no surprise I have not heard from them but once to which I happened to not be home at the time. They said I needed to pretty much start all over again and call back on the message. By the time anything gets done this way I'll be broke and they'll be that much richer. Good Luck To Those With This Problem And To Those That Haven't Ordered...You Have Been Warned...

DazzleWhite Big Scam

Many people have written about this ongoing scam. I just want to comment on these idiots who try to blame the victims of these scams by saying they should "read the fine print" or that they are just stupid or lazy. Who do you think you are? You actually condone this kind of crime? People are not stupid or lazy, the criminals have just become more and more sophisticated...and people like you are no better. Instead of using your energy to lobby for honest business practices you choose to slight those who fall prey to these scam artists. I would venture to say that hell holds a special place for those like you who sympathize with criminals. DON'T LISTEN TO THESE GUYS' BS! THEY ARE SUCH LOW-LIFERS THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN LOBBY FOR DISHONESTY AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

DazzleWhite fraud, scam

The website offers a free sample of teeth whitening, but you have only seconds to submit your area code to see if your location qualifies for this amazing deal. Surprise! It does, even if you make up a crazy code. Then you give your name, address and Credit Card info (Only for the shipping charge ( Big Lie) I received my first product late and a second sample a few days later. My credit card was charged about $83.00. When I called the company, I was told the terms and conditions are at the bottom of the first page which is BELOW the upper part of the page where you have to quickly put in your area code.
I demanded my money back. They gave me a whole routine to follow in order to be receive my money. Plus, I would still have to pay for the shipping cost of 2 products I never asked for! Reputable companies send a confirmation any time a credit card is used. This should be prohibited. I sent the products back, so I don't have a picture.

Ps; ignore the regurgitated response from apparent "representatives" of this company. The same drivel has been posted next to any internet complaint.

Pps; i will be posting this same message on every and all sites where i find complaints, please feel free to copy my post and do the same. Spread the word, enough is enough!
