I and my 2 adult daughters checked in for a two night stay on Friday October 16 - I was given keys to room 104. I opened door and it looked at first like someone was already staying in that room - then I realized it had not been cleaned. I returned to office and asked for another room as room 104 had not been cleaned after last guest left. I was given keys for room 117 and asked about upgrade or compensation - nothing was offered. The room 117 was clean b ut the face board to sink was loose from frame, the bed nearest to door had metal frame supports for mattress sticking out 2 -3 inches and I almost caught it on my leg. When we checked out Sunday October 17 - the head housekeeper and day manager were at the desk and when we reported problems listed with room they said the were aware of those problem but maintenance had not fixed them. They also indicated that they had no way of knowing when or if vacant rooms were cleaned and ready. Breakfast was a joke - stale muffins no protein
Claimed loss: nothing was lost
Desired outcome: Please fix your problem and some kind of refund would be nice. A report that you have fixed the problem. Thankyou.

That is a rough stay, and a metal frame sticking out near your leg is a real injury risk. Take photos of the loose sink and the bed frame before you leave, and keep your room keys and receipt. Call the Days Inn corporate line and ask for the district manager, not the front desk. Report room 104 being unclean and room 117’s hazards, and ask for a partial refund or loyalty points in writing. If they brush you off, dispute the room charge with your card issuer. You reported it at checkout, so you have a fair case.
