Rentyl Resorts Me and my wife, we tied the knot in *** Orlando on August 21st

Me and my wife, we tied the knot in *** Orlando on August 21st. Our whole fam, they all came from outta state and we booked a bunch of cottages and hotel rooms through Rentyl and *** Resort. But here's the thing, a week before the big day, we noticed we never got a confirmation for the two-bedroom cottage we booked (4 nights for $1,089 in total). So we called up Rentyl and they said they couldn't find our reservation and told us to book again. But guess what? When we checked out, they still charged us and marked us as a no-show for that first reservation they couldn't find in their system. Can you believe it?

Now, I've been calling their reservations department like crazy for the past 3 weeks, like 15 times or more. And let me tell ya, they ain't been much help at all. Every time I call, they say they'll escalate the issue and get back to me in 24 hours. But guess what? No email, no call, nothin'. It's pretty darn clear to me that they don't give a hoot about fixin' their own mistakes. They're happy to mistreat a customer like me, even though I brought 'em a whole lotta business.

Let me tell ya, folks, this ain't the kinda service you wanna deal with. They don't care 'bout their customers and they don't care 'bout makin' things right. So if you're thinkin' 'bout bookin' with Rentyl Resorts, I'd say think again. Save yourself the headache and find a place that actually gives a darn.

Rentyl Resorts Rentyl and *** left our family stranded with no place to stay

Rentyl and *** left our family stranded with no place to stay. My family and I booked at *** by Rentyl for Spring Break, March 21-26, 2021. When we got to *** to check-in, they said they didn't have our reservation. We traveled all the way from MN to FL during a busy Spring break, and they not only didn't have our reservation, but all the cottages were sold out. We had all the paperwork to prove our reservation, like confirmation number and billing charges, and they still charged our credit card for the stay. We waited in line for 5 hours, but they didn't help us or try to fix the problem. Thanks to Rentyl, our family of 4 was left across the country with nowhere to stay. We wasted several days of our vacation trying to find a place to stay. Instead of the relaxation, warm weather, and privacy we wanted, we ended up in a crowded condo across town because everything was fully booked. We had no privacy and the accommodations weren't Covid-friendly like we had planned. *** and Rentyl were no help at all, and they were really unprofessional. They basically just said, "too bad for you."

I paid RentylResorts for a 3 night stay in one of their 3 bedroom cottages at their Margaritaville Resort in Orlando. I checked in on Dec 18, 2021 and checked out on Dec 21, 2021. My confirmation number is 83529. I also paid a deposit of $1,527.26. I mentioned in the comments section of my reservation that we would be arriving early on the morning of the 19th, around 5:00 am. I had already paid for the 18th so that my family could rest after a long red eye flight. When we arrived at the Rentyl Resorts counter at around 6:00 am, they told us that our cottage had been rented out because we didn't check in the previous evening. They said they had no record of my note about our late arrival. They also said that all their cottages were fully booked and that we couldn't get one until 4 pm on the 19th. So, we had to sleep in our rental car until we finally got a cottage around 3 pm. When I checked out on the 21st, I asked for a refund for the night of Dec 18, 2021. They told me that they couldn't process a refund and that I needed to contact them through their website to resolve the issue. I tried contacting them multiple times through their website and also called them directly, but all I got was a representative telling me that I would receive a call back to discuss the matter. However, I never received a call and had to start the process all over again.

I rented a 4 bedroom, 2 story house at *** cottages in Orlando, Florida for 2 days. When I checked out, I went to the lobby and got my bill. Two days later, they charged me $170.00 on my credit card, separate from the hotel stay. I called Rentyl and asked about the charge. The person I talked to said it was for excessive cleaning and that I should have gotten an email with pictures before they charged me. I told him I didn't get the email, and he said they would send it soon. I asked what I could do if I didn't agree with the charge. He said I couldn't do anything, they wouldn't change their minds, and I would still have to pay the $170. After I hung up, I checked my emails and found one from Rentyl. When I opened it and saw the 4 pictures they sent, I was shocked. They wanted to charge me $170 for 1 bottle of Gatorade on a bed, 3 pieces of candy on a nightstand, and an empty toothpaste box near the bathroom trash can. The last picture showed the legs of a cleaning person and two almost empty trash bags, but I don't know where those came from. I left all the trash, except for what I mentioned, in the kitchen trash can. I emailed, sent messages on Facebook, and wrote several reviews, but nothing happened. Facebook said they would pass on the information, but I haven't heard back from them.

I booked a 4 BR cottage at*** Resorts Orlando through Rentyl resorts for July 17 - 23, 2022. At first, my confirmation number was 85155, but it changed to*** in their new system. On October 21, I paid a deposit of $328.01 using my credit card, which ends in***. However, I had to cancel my reservation by 6/30/2022 due to changes in my vacation plans. Since July 2022, I've been trying to get my refund, but I haven't received it yet. I've talked to different customer service representatives like Divina x59141, Habiba x59195, and Darlene x59112, who were helpful and professional. I've also spoken to a supervisor named Mr H. Despite their promises of a refund within 10 business days after each conversation, I haven't received anything. I've even sent emails and left voicemails for Samantha G in accounting, but she hasn't responded. They keep saying that my reservation was made in their old system, and I asked for a refund slip multiple times, but they never gave me one. Habiba and Darlene managed to find my original reservation as proof. I even provided my credit card number again for the refund, but I still haven't received anything after multiple attempts. They claimed that a refund was made in mid-August, but I never saw it, and I didn't receive a refund receipt either. It's been three months, and I followed all the procedures, so I deserve my refund of $328.01. If they can't return it to my credit card, I'd be okay with a check after all this time.

We booked a cottage on the Rentyl website 'cause it said pets were cool. But then we got an email the next day sayin' this: "Thanks for choosin' Margaritaville Resort Orlando Cottages by Rentyl for your vacay. We noticed you confirmed a reservation to stay with us in the next 7 days. We gotta ask for more info 'cause of Osceola County rules. If you can't answer these questions, we might have to cancel your reservation and give you a full refund. Oh, and we saw you mentioned bringin' your cat. Sorry, but cats ain't allowed in the cottages. Questions: Why you comin' here? Who's stayin' with ya (first and last names) and how old are the kids? If you got any concerns, hit us up at [protected] or email [protected]@rentylresorts.com. We're lookin' forward to hostin' ya at Margaritaville Resort Orlando Cottages by Rentyl! Also, we saw the note 'bout your cat. Unfortunately, no cats allowed in the cottages. AMANDA CAMP, Reservations Agent, Main: [protected], [protected]@rentylresorts.com." They didn't mention on their website that only dogs were allowed when they said "Pets Allowed". Plus, we didn't answer their questions 'bout Osceola County rules or keep the reservation after findin' out our cat couldn't come. We stayed at Margaritaville Resort Orlando from Aug 2 - 4, 2022. I tried to fix our problem in person twice, but they said they would follow up and never did. Here are the main issues we had: 1. The bed setup we were supposed to get, according to Travelocity, was not what we got. This was a big problem for our group, and it still hasn't been fixed. 2. The front desk "supervisor" Aaron lied and said there were no other rooms available with the right number of beds, even though I could see on the resort's website that there were. 3. Another front desk "supervisor" named Joshua brought a rollaway bed and helped us fit it into one of the bedrooms, but it was so cramped that the door couldn't close. He said he would give us a credit for the inconvenience, but I never got it. 4. There was a big thunderstorm and water leaked into our cottage because the balcony wasn't sealed properly. The water flooded the second floor, but maintenance never came to fix it. 5. When we checked out, I told the "manager" Iseley about everything. She said their system was down and couldn't check or refund anything. She promised to email me once the system was working again, but she never did. She also said they would do something for us on a future stay, but that never happened either.

nd them a private message with my contact information. I did so immediately. It has been over a week and I have not received any response from them.

Overall, my experience with Rentyl Resorts was extremely disappointing. From the lack of response to my upgrade request, to the numerous issues during my stay, and the complete lack of communication and resolution afterwards, I am left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

Firstly, the lack of response from Ashley regarding my upgrade request was unprofessional. I understand that things can get busy, but a simple acknowledgement or response would have been appreciated. Instead, I had to call and upgrade my reservation over the phone, without any written confirmation of the changes or the new price. This lack of documentation made me feel uneasy about the whole process.

During my stay, there were multiple issues that needed attention. I reached out to the Service Express Desk on five separate occasions, hoping to get these problems resolved. However, it seemed like my concerns fell on deaf ears. The heater in the pool and spa was not working, the Wi-Fi and cable were both non-functional, and there was even a cockroach on the floor. Additionally, the door locked us out at one point, and the outlets outside the house were not working. To top it all off, the pool maintenance team entered the backyard without permission and left a hose in the pool, causing it to overflow. These issues greatly impacted the enjoyment of our stay and left us feeling frustrated.

Upon checkout, I requested to speak to a manager, but was told that someone named "Ice" would contact me. I asked for a printed receipt, but was told it would be emailed to me. Unfortunately, I never received any call or email that day. I called again in the evening and spoke to Waleska, who once again assured me that a manager would contact me. However, I never received any form of communication from them.

In an attempt to address these issues, I sent an email to the provided address, detailing all the problems I encountered during my stay. I requested a call from a manager and expressed my desire for a credit to compensate for the numerous issues. However, it has been over a week and I have not received any response from them. This lack of follow-up and resolution is extremely disappointing.

To make matters worse, when I visited their Facebook page, I noticed that other individuals had experienced similar problems. I left a comment expressing my concerns and was instructed to send a private message with my contact information. I did so immediately, hoping for a prompt response. However, it has been radio silence ever since.

In conclusion, my experience with Rentyl Resorts was far from satisfactory. The lack of response, the numerous issues during my stay, and the complete lack of communication and resolution afterwards have left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend Rentyl Resorts based on my personal experience.

Rentyl Resorts So, we made a reservation for a 4 bedroom cottage at Rentyl Resorts in Kissimmee, FL for 4 nights in November

So, we made a reservation for a 4 bedroom cottage at Rentyl Resorts in Kissimmee, FL for 4 nights in November . We were supposed to check-in on December 27 and check-out on December 31. But unfortunately, we had to change our plans due to some emergency reasons. Our oldest daughter had a miscarriage and COVID, so we had to call and reschedule. They told us we had 60 days to rebook and we had to do it within a year.

In January 2022, we called again and booked for November 2022. We even added an extra night, checking in on November 20 and checking out on November 26, 2022. In July 2022, we called to confirm our reservation because we hadn't received any email confirmation. We also decided to upgrade to a premium 4 bedroom and added a few amenities.

Since July, we've had some major family issues with my father, older brother, and sister-in-law. This has made it difficult for my father and older brother to travel long distances. So, we had to change our travel plans, which you can understand. We booked the resort cottage mainly so that we could all be together for Thanksgiving, which might be the last one with my father.

On October 8, 2022, we called the resort again and they told us that if we cancel, we would owe the entire amount, not just our safety deposit. We didn't want to lose the deposit, but we were prepared for that. The reservation desk contacted a manager who confirmed that we would lose the whole amount if we canceled. We had never heard about this "hardship" thing until October 8. None of our paperwork mentioned anything about it. We were told that it was only mentioned verbally during the call, but we never heard it. Now, we're being held to something that wasn't even written down.

We have reached out to the Attorney General's office and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services about this issue.
