I returned to my room around 11:30 pm and my the bedding was stripped and not made up .
I contacted the front office and the girl that was working said it was not her fault because she worked the afternoon shift. I had to ask her if I was expected to make my bed so I could go to sleep, and she had then asked if she should send someone to make it up for me. When someone finally did arrive( the girl whose fault it wasn't) I continued to express my displeasure with, and she had the nerve to tell me not to complain to her because she was DOING ME A FAVOR and making my bed for me. I couldnt understand this because I know I paid for three nights to stay at the hotel and this was a basic service provided at all the other hotels that I stayed at before!
I told her that if she wanted to do me a favor, she could get the f$#% out of my room.
By then it was near midnight, no bed made, me peaved off, shaking and I had to get up by 5am for a 12 hour drive home on mothers day. I then went to the front desk and had to ask the favor lady the Hotel managers name and what time she would be in the next morning. Of course the GM did not come in untill 8:30 - 9 am.And she was probably sleeping in a nicely made cozy bed. So Ms. Not My Fault gave me Dioni Harrisons name and I called 411 information for the local area and got the managers home phone number and called her at midnight. Needless to say I dont think she was very happy being woke up. I told her how unhappy I was and expected to be compensated for my inconvieniences AND then she got mad at me! Can you believe it? Once again, I did pay in advance in full when I checked inn, big mistake, at a higher rate than usual becauseit was the Darlinton southern 500 weekend.
I also contacted Days Inn customer Service, you know they are so concerned that you enjoyu your stay and stuff. Well its been 2 months and I have not heard from anyone, and that is why I have left my story with the world wide web and let you all make a deciscion as to where you may or may not stay in the future. It would be nice just to hear from someone that would just say, I AM SORRY, What can I do for you.

Hello!
My name is Lidia Teixeira, I stay in the days inn from Saturday April 20 to Apr 21. I arrived around 2:35, the lady in that time charge me 380 for the room, she said $ 200 for deposited and 180 for the room, I gave my MC and I put through the and got approves, the lady did not give the receipt, after in the next day on Apr 21, she was there in the morning and told me the transaction did not get through, so I have to pay again $ 180, I called my MC and they told its been approves, now you have to give a refund of $ 380. The lady of took my Credit card is a thief, this is not right to lying and steel money. Could you please investigated this person? and I want my refund of 380 dollars that the hotel charge me.
thank you

First... Housekeepers should complete all the rooms no questions asked. Second, perhaps they let that room slip through the cracks thinking they did this room. Third, that was unprofessional calling the manager at midnight when the front desk should find you an available room and if it's not they should refund the money.

True, but I was under the impression his bedding was stripped which generally means no sheets, no blanket, no pillow cases, and no bed sheet, just a plain mattress.

I can see why the manager was upset that you called her at midnight at her home. The staff at the hotel was in the wrong but I don't think you should have used 411 to get her home number. How would you like it if your phone wakes you up at midnight. I'd panic and think it was an emergency, or someone with terrible family related news. Who else calls at midnight? Then I would have been startled, scared, confused, hazy and then relieved that it wasn't any of those things. And THEN I would've gotten irritated that an upset guest had ferreted out my home number to complain to me about an unmade bed at 12 AM.

I'm sure that is why you received so little assistance or sympathy from her. You should have waited until the next morning to make that call. And the manager (who perhaps then would have been cheerful from a good night's sleep) should have apologized, given you a discount, officially disciplined the employee and then apologized again.
