Currys review: sold a returned fan as new

Avoid buying from Currys Hayes.

I paid full price for what was supposed to be a brand-new fan, only to discover at home that the box had already been opened. The factory packaging and protective bags were missing, making it clear that the item had previously been handled and likely returned by another customer.

Selling returned or opened products as new without informing customers is unacceptable. If a product is not genuinely new, it should be clearly labelled and discounted accordingly.

This experience has completely undermined my trust in this store. I expect much better standards from a major retailer.
