Credit One Bank - credit card charges

This company is worse than loan sharks. At first, my payments were $25.00. Then, after charging more on the card thinking the payments would remain at least same, or at worst perhaps $10.00 more a month, they started charging me $47.00 a month on less than $1, 000.00 owed!

The Interest rate is the SAME as it was before, so nothing has changed with the Interest rate that would justify making the monthly payments so high.

I'm thinking of not paying them at all. After all, they are scam artist, cheaters, liars, rip off con artists, with no conscience or scruples at all. They would be the only creditor I would stiff. I pay my bills on time, and my payment history is impeccable.

Credit One actually deserves to be put out of business. Why is no one looking into this Bank?

The complaints about Credit One are so numerous and constant, and have been around for so long, it makes you wonder whose pockets are getting lined so Credit One can continue swindling people like they do. You would think someone would be looking out for the consumers. Au contraire mon frère.

Credit One's despicable, cheating business practices will one day catch up with them. However, those in the position to stop them who won't or don't, will suffer the same fate. Those people are just as accountable.

Stay away from Credit One! They are the worst credit card company EVER!

i rented a car and i returned it on time but Avis Car Rental is still charging my card i have a 113.50 authorize charged that i didnt no about and second charged for 14.75they keep charging my card and i keep calling to speak to some one but no one care to tell me whats the problem i even tried to contact they home office but dead end no one seems to help...

Have recieved over 100 Robo Calls since closing this Account. Excessive and fraudulent charges have continued even after Account was closed. They donot accept online payments making payments difficult, at first the representative was polite in accepting a payment by phone then became beligerent. Customers should be told that Credit One charges a monthly fee EVEN IF you cancel your card and EVEN IF you are enrolled in paperless billing and EVEN IF you submit all payments electronically (i.e. through your bank bill pay system). Furthermore, Better Business Bureau is worthless for these types of complaints. They just accept and forward whatever...

Genuinely disgusted with this company. I was mailed a new card back in July... Never received it. I noticed purchases had been made to the card via the app. Immediately called and reported the card lost/stolen. I was told all would be handled. NOT ONLY did they report the account with fraudulent activity to the credit bureaus which caused my credit score...

Credit One Bank - credit card

I have been trying to rebuild my credit and Credit One Bank had sent me a pre-approval letter. Since I have had this credit card it has been nothing but confusion. I would make a $100 dollar payment which was way over the payment due. They would not take it out of my account immediately without paying an extra $10 dollars which I was not going to do. I have never signed up for automatic payments although they have taken out several different unauthorized withdrawals causing me to have overdraft fees at my bank of $32 dollars each time they tried to withdraw unauthorized payments. They have even went to the extreme of trying a payment of $8.47 and I had to pay my bank each and every time they have done this. I would make a $100 dollar payment and they would put it through whenever they wanted to which caused only a lot of confusion and when other Bill's (that came out in a very timely manner) went through with no problem. This Credit Card Company/Bank does not take out the payment at the time I authorized the transaction and has only caused me many major financial problems. I have paid more in insufficient funds due to their negligence. I thought it was against the law for them to make unauthorized withdrawals from my bank account. Instead of helping my credit this (Credit One) credit card has ruined my credit. I have received emails stating that payment was due and to login to my app but they have locked me out of the account. I do not like the fact that they are trying to withdraw funds from my bank account that I absolutely did not authorize. This credit card company and their ways of doing business seems illegal and I would never recommend this credit card to anyone.

Credit One Bank - phone calls

I am a few days late for my payment, not that I chose to make it late, their systems were updating. I wasn't going to fight anything because everytime I call, no speaks English or clear enough to understand. So I really don't call and decided that I would pay the card off this year and close it, even if it does hurt my credit because this company is aweful. This morning starting at 8:30am they have call me 9 times, it's currently 8:50am. I feel like this is harassment at its finest. I've only been late a couple times in the 7/8 years I've had this card, I've never kept it delinquent for more than a few days. Just because life has happened but never more than 3/4 days, tops. They have harassed me, they have no way to set up a payment and if I make a payment early, sometimes they don't count it for the next month so it makes me late on my payment. This company is nothing but trouble. It served its purpose to help me build my credit but now it just makes me want to cry literally.

Credit One Bank - billed for debt not owed

I have sent this company several letters demanding proof the said "debt" owed. I have stated I have never heard of their organization (Credit One) before receiving their notices, that I never signed any contract to obtain a credit card, and do not recognize any of the charges shown on their transaction statement they sent me after my first letter to them regarding this matter. With any contract I enter into, I always sign with none other than a wet-ink signature. I never enter into a contract or agreement online or via any other means than on paper with my signature thereon. Any claims otherwise are false and the contract Credit One claims I opened with them is void ab initio minus my wet-ink signature.

Credit One Bank - fraudulent visa charges

Credit One Bank will issue a credit card to anyone very easily but you will regret it. Also all the customer service reps are in India or some other country that are very difficult to understand. When you finish talking to them thinking you have resolved your issue, the account is worse shape than before you call. My card had charges that were fraudulent and Credit One Bank to continue to approve the charges. Then I called them and the accounts were removed from online access so I could not monitor it and fees accrued at a tremendously. In the midst of Hurricane Harvey, it was very difficult to get assistance so it would not damage your credit. After 5 calls to Credit One Bank, they finally agreed to assist me but there were so many fees added to the account. I received a letter stating per my request we have closed your account and fees will continue to accrue including Annual Fees. That is ridiculous! Why am I still paying an Annual Fees? 1- the account is closed, 2- charge privileges aren't possible.
