Zoosk have to say, zoosk is one of the worst dating apps

Have to say, Zoosk is one of the worst dating apps. People who have free memberships can't really do anything with the site. When you send a message to someone, it says you must pay for a membership. When you receive a message from someone, you won't even be able to see the message unless you pay real money by use of 'zoosk coins' or by paying for a the membership. What a way to rip off unassuming people. Also, the membership charge is almost the charge of the major online dating sites - http://match.com, http://eharmony.com, and zoosk's functionality is nowhere near that of those sites. Not only that, they charge a ridiculous 'activation fee' in order to get more money out of you. It's a dumb dating app and I don't see the point in using it for people who are free members.

Zoosk too many fake users

For the past few months, I've received notifications from Zoosk that I've gotten flirts. When I look at the message, it's some lame pick up line like "I lost my number, can I have yours?" Some stupid question like "Coke or Pepsi?" OR I get a message in Spanish! This site is a crock of bull, they're just after money.

Zoosk unauthorized use of details

I recently received a potential "romantic" email from a Zoosk member.
Why potentially? Well, the message was drafted in Chinese.
And it came from a Chinese man - according to the profile picture.
So i am open minded and all and happy to learn about my previously unknown pulling powers with Chinese guys based in SF (i live in London and i am happily married to a British woman), so one can understand i was a bit surprised. Actually, it is rather a good thing the message was not coming from a woman, my wife would have taken a dim view of it, not surprisingly.

I have contacted Zoosk and they gave me this stupid answer: click on the unsubscribe link and with a bit of luck, we will block message from this sender.

But the real question is: where the hell did they get my email address? I never contacted them, never opted in. I have asked them for an explanation but after reading complaints about Zoosk, i am not holding my breath.

I lodged a complaint about sensorship and the quality of women to their helpdesk. They cancelled my one year subscription, approx. $120.00 after only 13 days of my subscription. No further questions to me and no refund. What wonderful customer service huh. Is this the best San Francisco can do? I would say maybe it is worth $120 just to know what kind of a scam company this is.

Well there you go, now you have been warned. Do not use this service. It is free for women and supported by paying dummies like me. It is a total rip off and a waste of time.
You will not find anything you are looking for on Zoosk, no freindship, no love, just thieves.

Peace

The site Zoosk should be recognized by now as the largest dating scam out there. They have built it up to be nothing more than a money eater. YOUR money! The only way to cancel is to cancel your card and order a new one. They don't reveal this in any part of the site. There are no phone numbers to use in order to cancel. And why is Facebook advertising this site so hard on its site? Not hard to figure out. There should be some way to get the site shut down and eliminate a real terrorist site from manipulating peoples lives.

I had the same experience, only from the guy's perspective. Zoosk is a giant ripoff. 80% of the "people" whose profiles you see in your search results can't reply to messages because they are not paid members. Of course, there is nothing to indicate who is paid and who is not. so you will just end up wasting time sending messages to people who can't reply unless they pay. Zoosk advertises this as a "free" site but the vast majority of the people on here can't answer messages. Thus, this company engages in false advertising. They refuse to refund my money, so I am going to spread the word that Zoosk is a scam site.

Yes, most of those profiles are not even real or who they say are. They are just there to lure people in and they make real people look like idiots anyway.

Zoosk most of the & people & that contact you are not even real

Terrible site. Most of the "people" that contact you are not even real. They are like bots that just send everyone messages. You can spot them easily because they use pictures of super models and no descriptions. Plus they start giving u their emails and phone numbers before you've even said hello to them. Who does that? So one moment you have a new "flirt" or new "chat request" and then you go login to check it out and they're not even there anymore. Literally, their profile and everything has vanished from zoosk. This dating site is a scam, no matter how unsatisfied u are, terms say no refunds. Dont waste your time or money.

Zoosk sending invites to all my list of contacts

I registered because I thought it was a message from a friend. When it mentioned dating services, I knew I was in a site I did not want to be in. Now it is sending me hundreds of invites from friends and people I don't even know. It is probably sending my contact list invites from me! How do I stop it?

I'm not sure what to do--I unregistered which seemed to cause another slew of invites to go out! Any suggestions?

Zoosk stealing address list

zoosk is like a virus! it pretends to be a pix sharing site when in reality it is a very aggressive and poorly designed dating site. by agreeing to join and purportedly just to see a friend's pix, zoosk steals all your contacts and sends them an invitation to join to see your pix. i dont even have any pix anywhere. it must be stopped!

Zoosk worm

I have recently been victimized by a website called Zoosk. Yesterday I received an email from a client who invited me to communicate with him on Zoosk. It looked legitimate, but wasn’t. Once I registered, Zoosk started sending similar invitations to addresses in my Outlook. If you have receive one, do not open it. I have contacted Zoosk and demanded that they remove me form their site and discontinue sending invitations – to no avail.

Zoosk majority of the girls are hook up models

Zoosk is a scam! You need to subscribe. Majority of the girls are hook up models. They are real ppl but not where they say there from and will ask for money. If they give u a chat line to go to that's one of them. Be sure to get some raunchy pics of them before disregarding. They're not shy in that aspect. If u get annoyed by the amount of them their e-mail names are real and you can f/b them. Maybe if we all started playing the game they will go away and give ppl seriously looking for a relationship a chance.

Zoosk stealing my contacts

Last night, I got an invitation from a good neighbor from down the street to see pictures on Zoosk. My wife and I had just talked about how our neighbor was a grandmother and I figured she might be sending pix of her grandchild. I clicked on a couple of links and then found out that 1, 200 people had been invited under my name to join Zoosk in order to look at pictures that I was supposed to have posted. My contact list includes most members of the Md. Judiciary, members of the State Legislature, Members of Congress, bank presidents, business colleagues, family members, etc. It is very embarrassing to have my name used to invite these people to join a dating service. The neighbor whose name was used to initiate this process says she never heard of Zoosk.

One of my contacts is head of a department at Johns Hopkins. She wanted to see my pictures, so she clicked the Zoosk link. All of her contacts got invited to join Zoosk.

It is obvious that Zoosk is trying to artificially inflate its numbers by luring unsuspecting people into becoming members. I contacted Zoosk, and they were complete horses ###. I then called their major funder, Bessemer Trust. They decline to accept phone calls.

This is a major scam.

The guys on the site are majority ugly. They don't give you any way to contact them without having to pay money. Then they blocked me without explanation. they are the worst site ever and you will waste your time and energy. There are plenty of other sites that are way better than this one. Oh and be careful because they will either take your money or block you because you didn't subscribe with them

No doubt. Fake users usually have one picture ( head shot ) sometimes go by the name of ( a Zoosk Member ). The sell zoosk currency for you to send to non existent users. ( Felony Fraud ). They charge a monthly fee ( misrepresenting users ) also Felony Fraud. Fraudulently generated replies. I have asked for a refund a was denied. Next I file fraud claim with my Credit Card Co. This needs to be forwarded to the U. S. Attorney General for further processing. TO: the disclaimer below; these are not unique. Very clear as spelled out in this claim. I recommend this site should be SHUT DOWN!

Zoosk unauthorized charge

I check my bank account activity on a regular basis. Today, there is a charge, which posted on 3/24/2012, for a company called Zoosk in the amount of $54.95. I checked my two email accounts to see if there were any emails sent from Zoosk. Thankfully, I did not delete any of my Spam emails for the month of March. I did not find anything from this company in my emails. Their customer service is only open M-F. I intend to call Zoosk on Monday, as well as closing this account with my bank and reopening another account.
Has anyone else have had an issue with Zoosk, in regards to unauthorized charges recently?

Unauthorized chargers which constitutes fraud. I get emails from fake members that look like right out of playboy. Titled ( 5 totaled ) fake members all named " A Zoosk Member"
I message them, they respond then all info to find them vanishes like it never happen. I was clever to secure an example an stored it away with a picture. I'm pulling out out, they are running aphishing scale. Where leads: identity theft. I stored a contact number that goes back to Tennessee, states away from member state she resides or it resides. Zoosk shady, lying, dirty thieves

cheating thieves. I made an account with a "free" dating site, took a lot of time creating my profile, and uploading pictures and everything else, all the while reading nothing about a pending fee in order to actually DATE the other members. basically all you are allowed to do is view profiles. I found out it wasn't actually free when a guy tried to chat with me. sometimes I could read the message, most of the time it said I needed to pay money in order to read the message. so all I was trying to do was type a response saying I'm sorry I can't read your messages cause they want me to pay, but god forbid I'm even allowed to do that. I felt like the lowest, meanest ### just ignoring all these guys because in order to type a response I need to bust out my credit card. that's how they lure you in. "oh she's signed up with us now thinking it's free, now just wait until she gets a message from a cute guy, she'll HAVE to subscribe! I did not subscribe. I deleted my account. and another thing they did was... ok when you make your profile the mommy administrators need to read it and make sure it's ok before they approve it to be read by other members. so in other words, you don't have control over your own page unless they let you, and you may not be able to portray yourself the way you want others to see. I had posted under the "My Story" headline this stupid joke saying something like "oh I was just gonna type hi my name is maggie but it requires a minimum of 150 characters so uuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm" and then made another stupid joke to fill up the space saying "I was born as a human, death is pending, and I am currently alive." well mommy administrator thought this message was somehow inappropriate... no swear words, no talk of drugs, no violence, absolutely nothing offensive right? well I was not allowed to post that on MY page. these people are complete ###s and DO NOT let them trick you into giving them your money. (from what I hear you won't even get it back.)

Zoosk they will steal your money

Stay away! Be warned, be and be warned, Zoosk online dating are scammers. I joined zoosk September 2011 and decided to be a member in October 2011. What a biggest mistake I made. I took a 6 months subscription, of which zoosk took money from my credit card to the amount of R460.00 of which after being a member for two weeks, they blocked my account! Every time I tried to get access, it could pop up saying that my account is being blocked by the zoosk administrator. I sent numerous emails, even tried to call them, unfortunately, I never got any respond. Then last month I tried to join, fortunately for me, my photos could not upload and I thank the Lord, because for obvious reasons I think God as warning and protecting me. Zoosk are scammers, cheaters, frauds, and they can not be trusted by any one. I just hope that I will be refunded my money. The advice I give all those seeking for love on the internet watch out for zoosk, they will steal your money!

Zoosk is a scam site. You open the account, Zoosk takes your money and blocks your account immediately. Please don't use zoosk anymore.

Hi there,

I just created an account with zoosk and the account was not closed but right after i paid for it, it got closed. Made it look like Zoosk was waiting for me to subscribe before the account would be closed so you can steal my money. But here's the funny joke. If i don't get a refund back in 1hour, i will post all over the internet the scam you are running and watch and see how you will lose customers in the coming year. I will push this all over the internet and i will not stop until i see that zoosk runs out of business and if you take this for a job and don't refund or reactivate my account, then you will see how serious i will get with making sure you run out of business.

Am giving you guy 1 hour to refund me back my money or virtually all sites i surf on the internet will carry the news of how fraudulent your dating site is.

1 hour and thats it.
If you think this is a joke, then please do me the favour of not refunding me back my money in just 1 hour and we will see what happens. I have nothing to loose.

I have similar experience like that.
I purchase a month membership on 02/10/12 for $29.95, but I don't want to keep purchasing it, so I didn't give any authority to your company for keep charging money from me account. But you did charge me $29.95 on 02/11/12 again without my authority. It's unfair and illegal that you didn't give any notification about when you are going to charge fee without my authority. I doubt how many people suffer from this kind of tricks. I hope to I can get a fair solution, but they ignore it. This is exactly credit card fraud.

Zoosk no coverage!

I subscribed to zoosk for the 6 months package and started using the service, but suddenly after 1 month, the service STOPPED! when i try to use zoosk, i get a message saying :Sorry, but Zoosk does not provide service in your area. Thanks for visiting Zoosk.
(see the attached pic). even the support and contact us links don't work! then i traveled to another country and could use it again, so i contacted the support and they said we provide service everywhere in the wold and there is no limitation of any kind so next time pls skip and change your search area?!?! i wonder what to skip and how?! see the pic attached and tell me how to skip! and i still have the emails. now after i came back to my country i tried to recontact them using the same email, but they are not replying anymore!
so there goes my money. they simply stole my money and they never mentioned anything about restrictions in certain countries or areas.
Summary is: DO NOT use their service! well, unless you wanna lose some money.
