Walmart injury

I was injured in December at Walmarts Kemah, TX location because I was pulling out a popcorn tin can from the display which began to fall on me. Some hit me in the head causing a concussion. Manager called the paramedics and told me not to worry about the bill. HAHA Yeah BS! I have $1200 in bills and their claim mgt people said I caused the fall. Really? The display was 7 ft high. I am 5'4". The next day it was 3 ft high. (Have pics). Not trying to make money off Wal-Mart, but they should at least pay my medical bills. I WILL NEVER GIVE WALMART MY BUSINESS AGAIN NOR WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY! Wal-Mart does NOT give a crap about their customers. My cousin is a mgr for Target and he said anytime there is an accident even if they feel the customer may have created it they take care of their customer’s medical bills.

Walmart sexual harassment

I had a lady come up to me at checkout telling me she overheard employees talking towards me out loud in a very dirty sexual vulgar way! She was very upset about what she had heard and even told a manager! She said it was very wrong especially since I was with my 6 year old son! I'm at a loss for words and feel almost sexually abused, if I was to hear what these employees were saying about me I would have felt even more terrible and victimised! I am extremely upset that this kind of thing goes on with employees in Walmart! Something needs to be DONE!

I actually made this up because they reported me to security for slapping my son across the face. Never happened.

Actually I have a confession to make. I made this up about the sexual talk because I was angry at the employees. My son wanted candy. I said no. He threw a temper tantrum I slapped him real hard. The employees whom I am falsely accusing called security on me who called the cops. My son was taken away from me and put in care of his father.

Walmart Walmart money card

I bought a Walmart prepaid money card, activated it online and was told I couldn't get a permanent reloadable card because my information was wrong. It would not let me know what info was wrong and that was that. So I called the customer service line and was told they couldn't help me. So I tried again with another card. This time I activated it over the phone, gave all my info to the automated service. It said all the info was correct and I would be receiving a permanent card in the mail in 2 to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I never received a card so I called customer service again and was told my info was wrong and the system won't issue me a card. So again I asked what info was wrong and was told again they couldn't tell me. So I said that didn't make sense and was told basically oh well. I guess they don't want my business. This is a terrible way to treat customers.

Walmart Billing fee

My boyfriend and I went into Walmart's Vision Center yesterday to make an appointment. The woman who was helping us checked that his insurance covered the eye exam and contacts. However when he went in today for his appointment he was charged an $80 fitting fee which the woman never made aware to us. We have a 2 month old son and it really disappointed me that they told us about the fee after the exam. what if we were unable to pay for it. If we were made aware of this ww couldve set money aside but instead we were forced to take it out of our savings. In the future i would hope any company would let their cliental know about the potential fees they would need to pay and not be made aware of then after everything's is set and done.

It is not her fault you cannot wait until you have a proper job before spreading your legs and having children. It is not her fault you could not hold your urges and have a child. Don't spread your legs if unexpected expenses. I am sure you were made aware of this fee but you did not pay attention. Why have children when you cannot afford to take care of them?

Walmart customer service

I wanted to buy a Amazon Fire Stick for my tv. I'm told the device is being sold at Walmart. At Walmart I'm searching for this device, with no luck, I stop a Walmart employee, she looks at me with ANNOYANCE. I tell her I needed help, then she tells me "I don't work in this dept". I then walk away to not bother her. I then go to the Electronics cashier and ask, he tells me "we don't carry this device, go on Amazon.com and search, I try to explain that I was told the device was being sold here at Walmart, he then cuts me off by answering a ringing telephone. Feeling like I am getting no help, I go home and purchase the Amazon Fire Stick online, the next day I'm searching for a Blu-ray device and right next to that, I find the Amazon Fire Stick! I am so frustrated with Walmart in Gallup, NM.

I think taking a parent shopping in the future will help as well. The employee you first approached does not work in that department. You are going to a store that sells over 20, 000 different items, one person cannot know where each and every item is, they have a specific department. Perhaps if you were not glued to the television you would be able to use your brain and realize this.

Also there is no reason for you to throw a temper tantrum and take your anger out on the employee when what they sell in his store is out of control. Also if the item is not available, what do you expect him to do? Do you expect him to wave a wand and have the item magically appear in thin air. You need to get some fresh air and stop gluing yourself to the television if this is the case. The customer on the phone should not have to wait just because some unintelligent person does not understand that the item is not in the store so they cannot help you.

You watch so much television what you live in a fantasy world. What did you want the employee to do, wave a magic wand and magically have your item appear in thin air. Time to go outside and get fresh air.

Looks like someone needs to bring either mommy or daddy shopping with her. Come on now you are going to a place that sells thousands of products. Do you expect each and every employee to know where each an every item is. If the employee does not work in electronics department they won't know. Also if they don't have the item in stock, what do you expect him to do. Wave a wand and magically make the Amazon Fire Stick appear. Perhaps if you were not too busy watching television which is rotting your mind you would be able to use this simple common sense. The person on the phone should not have to wait for some foolish person to finally understand that the item is not in stock before they are dealt with. If the item is not in stock they cannot magically make it appear. Perhaps if you faced the real world instead of watching Wizards of Waverly Place, or Harry Potter you would know that things cannot just magically appear in thin air. Taking your anger out on the electronic employee for computer problems makes me wonder if you are a child. Perhaps if you got some fresh air and went out one in a while instead of watching television all the time you would not be such a bitter person that lacks common sense.

Walmart decrease in limit

I applied for the Walmart credit card around Christmas. I used it for the Christmas purchases and then paid it off. Around February, I went online to review all my statements and noticed that I had a limit of only $200.00 (Are you kidding me?) I immediately contacted them and their response to me was "every month we review all of our accounts and based on scores and debts we either increase or decrease limits". WTF! What was the point of giving me the $500.00 limit? It only lasted 2 months. They are lucky that I will not cancel this damn card because it will only hurt me but I will NOT be using it again. I am going to FREEZE the damn thing.

Walmart three child carts

I have used this wal-mart since I moved here and always had one issue or another, however lately...

What is the point of having the three child carts if they are left outside 24/7, year round. They are always full of snow, rain, etc... I have asked/spoken with someone on several occasions now and got a generic "I will mention it to someone" each time, with nothing happening...

With my third child due any day now, from now on I will be alternating between letting my two boys run wild and no longer scolding them when they touch/play with thing, and just grabbing a cart and cleaning it off with the first article of clothing I find... And wal-mart can just deal...

I've seen actual evidence that Wal-Mart is unfairly targeting local businesses, with a saying on their ad-match guarantee that they will match any local competitor's prices! It "appears" as if they are trying to close down legitimate, local businesses and competitors! Local businesses are the heart of a community, and we want our friends, not to mention our family to stay in business!

Pretty damn sad when Wal-mart can't even get people that know enough to put right air pressure in tire. Had 4 tires put on my 06 Ford Freestar and the tire pressure monitor came on all four tires were about 3 pounds under.

The Wal-mart store in Nashville, AR claims it will not be under sold. Well I guess not when they check ads from from surrounding stores and pull the items off their shelves so you can"t get them at the sale price. What"s up with that?

Tried to cash a united states treasury check for my retirement annuity and it was declined. All certegy says it is declined for unspecified reasons. Can't even talk to a real person. It is becoming a more intrusive way to get you to direct deposit. Then any time a govt entity wants to it can access your account and take what they want.

Walmart ladders

It would be so much faster, safer, and easier if all Walmarts invested in some power lift ladders for the back room. It is so unsafe and hard and takes up to much time to use regular old ladders when binning things are getting things out of he bins. you could just load your stuff on the platform and push the button to take you up. It would cut down on accidents on ladders which would save money in long run. Need to have 2 on the GM side.Plus get rid of the paper towels in the bathrooms. Just need good hand blowers. It would save money there and help keep it cleaner.

I got my 100.00 E Card from Walmart late in Jan of 2014 after all kinds of phone calls to Walmart (Thanksgiving 2013 purchase of I Pad) then in late March 2014 I went to use the card it had no balance nothing 000.00 I was shocked Walmart said I forgot I used it (YA RIGHT I SLEEP WALKED AND USED IT YA) I made so many calls had rude customer service reps etc finally one helped me and said my card was used to purchase 2 T Mobile gift cards in early March 50, 00 each and were sent to an address in PA.(I live in FL.) so with address in hand I filed a complaint with Walmart.com guess what never got my 100.00 back they said I purchased the cards sent them to a PA. address and now I want credit they did nothing and until this day in 2015 now I never got anything and when I call they just ignore me and say I used the card and that is final ! now just last week I had a return to Walmart (30+ dollars )to site to store I did return and now I have not had it go back to my PP account and Walmart has no record I returned the item and my paper work I got says nothing of the fact I gave them the item or a credit was given

Walmart free shipping to store

The walmart.com website offers a a grayco "stanton style in classic cherry crib" advertised to include a foam mattress and free ship to store. Ther is a 'button' for an option of 'free ship to store' on the web page but at the checkout page a "freight surcharge" $69.95 delivery to home is the only option. So it seems walmart is saying they are giving free shpping to store that graco is not delivering on without an additional $69.95. The option "free ship to store" becomes ineligibile once the product options are sought, but that first page tates it is available in 11 styles. "free ship to store" is to me a blatant 'come on' that they have no intention of honoring. They get larger tv sets delivered to their stores.
Walmart should not be allowed to misrepresent this 'product that is not available in stores' as somthing that is, in this way.

Walmart walmart stole my cash

Walmart refused to refund my money for money orders within one minute of purchasing them. They have my $500 cash and $200 camera and refuse to refund

On January 29, 2015 I paid for a $500 Moneygram money order as I have every month for the last four years at the Stuart, FL Walmart. Walmart associate Ashley misunderstood and gave me one for $400 and another for $100. Within 10 seconds, I immediately requested to exchange them for one $500 money order. I was instructed to make the money orders out to Walmart. When Ashley put it in the system, Certegy sent a message that they would not guarantee the checks. The three customer service managers and two assistant managers spent more than two hours trying to figure out what to do. I suggested that I sign over the checks and let one of the managers try to cash them with their information. They refused. I finally called the Stuart police and filed a report of theft. At one point, a Walmart associate put me on the phone with a representative from Certegy. I asked why they would not approve the checks, especially since I had never bounced a check or been accused of fraud in my life. They said it may have been because I tried to cash them too quickly. I asked them to override it and they refused. They told me that Walmart could cash them if they wanted to and they also told that to the Walmart associate. Walmart refused. Certegy then suggested that I take the checks to a check cashing store to see if maybe they would honor the checks that were made out to Walmart. I explained that I had no identification that would authorize me to cash a check made out to Walmart. After 2.5 hours, I finally left the store without money orders or my $500. No one at the store or Certegy offered me any kind of resolution or follow-up information. I left my contact information and no one has attempted to contact me.
On another occasion, I returned a $200 camera in an unopened box. The associate was confused about the transaction, so I left the camera and my phone number so that the manager could call me the next day. No one called. When I called the store, the camera had disappeared and Walmart kept the $200 that I had spent. Customer service manager, Linette witnessed both thefts.

The six Sam Walton heirs are worth a combined $148.8 billion. (walmart1percent.org/issues/top-reasons-the-walton-family-and-walmart-are-not-job-creators) As of March, 2014, they had the same wealth as the bottom 42% of American families combined. Walmart associates, in comparison, have been risking arrest in their fight for $25, 000 a year for full time work. American taxpayers pay $62 billion for food stamps and other public assistance that Walmart workers need to survive, (forbes.com/sites/clareoconnor/2014/04/15/report-walmart-workers-cost-taxpayers-6-2-billion-in-public-assistance) because Walmart workers earn 40% less than their counterparts at Costco and Walmart refuses to give the majority of it's workers a full time job.

On top of all this, America's wealthiest family has to outright steal from people like me because 150 billion just isn't enough for them.

Walmart savings catcher doesn't work as claimed

Walmart claims that their Savings Catcher will refund you the difference if lower advertised price is found and when this refund is transferred to Your Blue Bird account the amount is doubled. I as many other people have bought things with lower advertised prices and Walmart has not refunded the difference. Walmart has broken their agreement with the consumer after having us all sign up for AMX Blue Bird accounts through their website. Action has to be taken.

Walmart poor customer service

My husband and I are patrons of the Wal-Mart pharmacy in Cleveland, GA. Over the past few months, customer service has been non-existent at this pharmacy. We have experienced the following situations more than once:
*Prescriptions not being ready when promised. When we use the prescription telephone service, the pharmacy states that the prescription will be ready by a certain date and time. When we go to pick our order up, it is not ready.
*No medications available - at least three times in the last two months, we have gone to pick up a prescription only to discover that the pharmacy is out of our meds.
We never seem to get out of the pharmacy on our first visit. It takes at least another trip back to get our meds. It is also very irritating to stand on line at the pharmacy window with 7 other customers and listen to the pharmacy techs discuss and compare their tattoos with one another. Very unprofessional.
When we have complained about these issues, we have been to go to another pharmacy and/or we receive a shrug and a roll of eyes.
Time to find another pharmacy!

Walmart shredded cheese did not melt

I bought the Great Value shredded mozzarella cheese and was very disappointed. I normally don't shop at Walmart, but it was more convenient this particular day. The cheese did not melt and it was disgusting. I cooked the pizzas as I always do, 375 degrees for 11 minutes. I will never purchase Great Value items again. It's not a great value when our dinner is ruined and I have to go out and pick up take out.

Apparently, you aren't smart enough to read my post. I bought shredded cheese. My package of shredded cheese didn't have any cooking instructions on the package. As a matter of fact, I've never seen a package of cheese with cooking instructions. Maybe you should get your mommy to read the post for you next time! JERK!

Walmart $20 extra charge attempt at exchange

I bought Windows 8.1 from Walmart online and went to the Glenolden, PA store to pick it up. I waited 15 minutes for the woman in front of me to get what she came for until they found it. It took them a half an hour to figure out that they lost the key to the lock on the gated area it was in. I suggested and finally went to get a copy off the shelf in the electronics department. The 64bit disc would not load so, on New Years Day, I went to exchange it. I said to the girl at the counter: " I bought this online and I want to exchange it. The 64bit disc will not load. It costs twenty dollars more to get it in the store that is why I bought it online." She proceeded to scan the box and started handing me money. I asked her why because I asked to exchange it. She directed me to go and get another one. I said: " I have to go get another one and pay for it with you all over again? " She told me: " That's what we have to do. " I hobbled back to get another set of discs on a foot with a broken bone I had suffered two days prior. When I returned another employee standing at the other register (2) said she could help me. I explained that the other girl had instructed me to return with another Windows 8.1 disc set and re-pay. I then gave her the money back. Then they said it was going to cost me $126.00 after giving me back $106.00. I explained that I was given back my money and told to get another one and come back. After asking for a manager a young man came over I explained to him the situation and then he voided the refund. After he walked away, the original girl said: " I can ring you up after this lady. If you still want it, it will cost you $126.00 " I said: " No it will not. I paid $106.00 for this online and that is what I am paying back to you." She evidently ignored what I said, because after she took care of the other customer at her register she rang it up and said it would be $126.00 again. I said: " You have got to be kidding me. I paid $106.00, you gave me back $106.00, and that is all I am paying." Her reply was that I could just get my money back. I said: " I've had enough of this. I tell you what, just give me the money back. I'd rather go to Best Buy or another store and pay the extra $20 to them instead of buying anything here." And I did go to Target and get what I wanted from a helpful and very sympathetic electronics associate. Thank you TARGET!

Walmart wood chip in salsa

I bought a jar of Great Value salsa at my local Walmart store in November 2014 I believe. I dumped some from the jar into a small bowl to dip chips into. The salsa is a rich red color, & has chunky pieces of vegetables in it, so I did not notice the object in it right away. I scooped up some salsa on a chip, and just about chocked on a piece of WOOD, YES, A WOOD CHIP- I coughed and it went from almost down my throat to my teeth, where I tried to chew it up; I thought it was a hard piece of dried vegetable or something. I would love to know the "canning/bottling" process on this one, how does a wood chip get into salsa? I took pictures of the salsa jar, and also saved, and washed the wood chip and took pictures of it too-

Walmart refusal of service

Walmart gestapo

On wednesday the 18th dec 2014 my 23year old son and i went shopping at the walmart store # 2809 in buckhannon, wv.

I nor anyone else in our family will ever set foot in that store again, and as a direct result of their actions we will avoid all other walmart stores as often as possible.

It was about 2:20 pm when we got to the checkout. We had picked up some christmas decorations, some baking supplies, other food supplies, several blu - ray discs, a 12 pack of coke, and a 12 pack of coors. Total order was expected to be around three hundred dollars which would have been in line with most of our walmart visits.

The cashier asked if my son was of age. I assumed she meant legal drinking age and i responded with an affirmative. She then informed me that he needed to show her id to prove that he was of legal age or she couldn’t sell me the beer. I questioned her request because it seemed ridiculous.

She told me that if he was not of legal age then i might allow him to drink the beer when i left the store and based on that walmart policy does not allow her to sell me the beer. This implies that a shopper with a toddler can’t by beer because the toddler is under age.

I told her that that concept is absurd and if that was the case i will walk away and leave all of the items at the store. At 67 i can legally buy beer anywhere that it is sold and for her to guess what i might do when i left the store is beyond reason no matter how old the person with me is.

The manager overseeing the registers came over and the situation was explained including the fact that my son would not show id and if they insisted we would leave everything and walk out. His response was “that’s your choice, sir “. We left everything at the register after showing the id.

Walmart has forgotten that the retail market is a service business. The concept that any store employee has the right to guess what i may do when i leave the store and refuse to sell me something that i can legally buy anywhere is arrogant, stupid, and discriminatory.

At this rate we will soon need to get permission to enter the stores and kneel to their logo. That is not going to happen. We don’t need walmart or their gestapo tactics.

I completely agree that this is being taken to extremes in an attempt to prevent underage drinking. Worse, I have actually seen parents giving their infants alcohol exactly as you implied. Yet, they only seem to be concerned with a certain age group of individuals who drink.

Unfortunately, the government punishes the clerks who sell alcohol to minors. If they are caught selling alcohol to a minor they are fined and then can be terminated after a repeated offense. Law enforcement has no problem sending in minors to purchase alcohol, which I consider entrapment, and then punishing the store and the cashier. I have never seen them go after a minor with alcohol and rarely see intoxicated minors arrested to the extent that they go after businesses. In short, this is a moneymaking gimmick that has absolutely nothing to do with enforcing the legal drinking age.

I hate to defend Walmart in this situation, but they are trying to avoid fines and punishment for errors that they may accidentally make. I have seen similar instances in other stores and it always falls on the store and never the individual who illegally purchased alcohol or cigarettes. The only way that we can change this, and I doubt we can anyway, is to vote in elections to put different individuals in office with a degree of common sense. If you can enlist and die for your country, you should be perfectly able to purchase alcohol at the same age. But, that's just my two cents worth.

I went there to get a haircut at 4.48Pm on 1214/2014. I saw two employees attending to other customers and was hoping one of them would sign me in. It was awful that neither of them signed me in or even acknowledged i was there. One employee had finished hair cut and started cleaning the salon, even after looking at me several times. NOT EVEN ONCE, THEY...

Walmart stole my purse

I went to walmart and my friend needed a dead bolt for her front door. I didnt have any money . So i took the lock out of the box and started thinking that this wasnt a good idea so i put the lock on a shelf without the box. I dont even remember where. Well when i was walking out the door with not taking anything three security idiots were walking in right in front of me. and the main guy said we saw you on camera taking the lock out of the box and stole merchandise from this store. He really scared me and i said no I did not then all of a sudden he snatched my purse right out of my hands and said yes you did. I kept yelling and pleading with him to please give me back my purse and he said no mam i cannot do that. I started walking off and i walked beside him please give me my purse. He and another security idiot said you do not want to touch him keep your hands off him. or we will call 911 and get you for assault. so really pissed I said screw you! Go ahead do what you need to do. you will not find anything in my purse and definitely no locks or merchandise. and they walked away with my purse. I did not take anything from that damn store. What should I do? Should I just let them have my purse? Scared they will charge me with shoplifting when i took nothing.

Wow...just wow. Lesson of the story morals... If they wanted to charge you, there would be cops at your door. They have your purse therefore, your id. They know where you live...go get your purse. You have just (hopefully) learned a lesson.
