Walmart cashing a check

We tried to cash a payroll check on friday on Christmas eve and banks were already closed. Unfortunately, my id and debit card were missing and the only form of id I had was my Permanent Resident card. They said they couldn't accept it. Our country will allow me to enter this country but I cant cash my own check? And on top that, the employee rolled her eyes and was just awful. Are permanent resident cards really not acceptable forms of id? Any comments?

The employees lied to you. They accept permanent resident cards.

They are allowed to deny any type of ID. Check cashing is a service that Wal-Mart chooses to offer. It can be a very risky service. It is good for them to take these precautions.

Walmart return denied

Today I went to Walmart to pick up a pack of dvd-r. It was a Memorex 50pk 4.7 gig. Got home and tried burning a new dvd (just got a new laptop) but was quickly rejected with a message saying the file was too big for the dvd. I had no idea that an actual movie couldn't fit on a 4.7 gig dvd (in high quality.)
So I go back and ask the guy if I can still return my item seeing as how it was after midnight. He said yes and directed me to checkstand 18. I waited there for honestly about 10 mins. Doesn't seem like a lot of time except the man in front of me was buying 1 single phone card honest to god and the pez dispenser standing behind the till couldn't figure out scan card, swipe card, collect money. Time passes and I finally get my turn to get destroyed so I stepped up and the first thing the guy did was call for help from the electronics department. I wait about a minute or so and here comes the fat guy that directed me toward checkstand 18. Mike. He stepped behind the counter and said we cannot accept these because they are treated like computer software and once they are opened, they cannot be returned. I guess he just wanted to see me stand in line for 10 minutes knowing I wouldn't succeed.

123321 says: "Sounds like you know as much about spinning a story as you do about DVD creation."

Umm... If I knew a lot about spinning stories wouldn't that mean I know a lot about DVD creation?

lolol are you high 123321? I was trying to burn DVD quality which in a full length movie is AT LEAST 4gigs of space (depending on the length of the movie) and can be as high as 17gigs... I had to lower the quality to SVCD (the next best thing) which is 650Mb-700Mb (less than a gig) in order to fit it on the 4.7gig discs that I purchased...
Did I lose you? Don't worry it's all explained here: http://www.deskshare.com/resources/articles/dvd-compression-quality.aspx

And I said they were totally unused because none of the discs were ruined... my computer spit it out and didn't transfer any data at all leaving 50 perfectly fine 4.7gig DVDs.

wow...

Walmart rude and not very helpful

Ive had multiple problems with my Walmart Pharmacy. They never have our prescriptions ready even when called in days in advance. We wait and wait or come back numerous times before our medicines are ready. Lately we've had trouble getting our insurance straightened out, only with walmart in (Stratford). I pick up prescriptions for my father who lives in Stratford and I refuse to use that Walmart because of their rude service. My father recently had an amputation and needed a presciption filled and they told the VNS nurse who did me the favor to get it because I live far I live in Naugatuck CT that he wasn't in the computer when in fact I know he is because I pick up scripts for him all the time at my friendly neighborhood Walmart in Naugatuck. They even went as far as telling her that he did not exist as ever getting anything from the Naugatuck Pharmacy which I know it's a lie becuase I go there at least 3 times a week to pick up for them. The nurse who was doing the favor for me finally called me on the other line and was telling me the situation. I then offered to fax the information over when I heard the pharmacy clerk tell the nurse that their fax was not working. How can the fax not be working and you are a pharmacy? She just was not helpfull at all and in the buisness their in they need to cater to people. She also stated that the drug she was their to get filled they were out of stock and he would not have it for 2 weeks. When I know they can get it sooner than that. They get shipments ever day and I know this for a fact because me and the walmart pharmacy in Naugatuck do it all the time when they don't have a specific drup in stock. I get it with in 24-48 hours. I think that the walmart executives need to get involved and hire a little more professionl people who know how to handle people. I then told the nurse to get the heck out of that place and I called the Walmart in Naugatuck who took care of me with kit gloves. All walmart hasd to do is call the Naugatuck Pharmacy for the information. The whole situation would have been taken care of but know it's too much to ask of them. They wont do it! They're too busy! I hate the walmart pharmacy in Stratford and I avoid it like the plague, because they have a bunch of un-educated pharmacy techs working there. I guess the area they are located in counts for their attitude. Sad to say.

Walmart scam

My daughter was sent a $70 Wal-Mart money card from her grandma in N.C.
When she tried to use it the 1st time in the machine at our local Wal-Mart in port orchard Washington, it was denied, do to my daughter hit 1 number wrong in the pin #. So I called the phone number on the back of the card, and they said I would have to wait several days to use the card. We waited and tried again to no avail. I called money card services again and they said the card had a zero balance even though no cash was withdrawn off the card, they even acknowledged that the card had a beginning balance of $70, but they now wanted me to send them the receipt so they could investigate it. I found this to be ridiculous due to they acknowledged the card started with $70 on it, no withdrawals were done, but now it has a 0 balance. I faxed it to them, but the receipt was faded, I called back up and they said to wait and call back in 1 business day for it to go through their system. In which I did and these people from this 3rd world country would not listen to since about the receipt being too faded to fax, they just kept saying to resend it, even though I told them verbally everything on the receipt. They also told me to go to the store where it was purchased to get a more legible receipt. I told them it’s in another state. So I called the N.C. Wal-Mart to have them fax them the store ledger, but they never received that either. So I went to my local Wal-Mart and spent over an hour with the assistant manager re-faxing the receipt and her verbally telling all the info on the receipt to the 3rd world Wal-Mart money card service center. The 1st represenitive said talked to said it isn’t the right receipt for this card. I strongly disagreed so she called back up to find out who ever she talked to was mistaken of course. She Called up N.C. Wal-Mart to get the receipt sent again. All this for the 3rd world Wal-Mart money card service center to tell us to wait a couple more business days to research this issue. All the above took over 1 month. Let me repeat the absurdity of this whole ordeal: a card was purchase for $70, they acknowledge the card started with $70 on it, no withdrawals were deducted off the this card, but now it has a 0 balance, so why don’t they just see this and put the $70 back on the card that their faulty system corrupted. Or is this all a premeditated scam from the 3rd world Wal-Mart money card service center. Wal-Mart should pay American workers a couple more bucks an hour so we wouldn’t have these scams.

How much does Wal-Mart pay you for this baloney Mr. Stealth Pilot?

Update by Rus Sleeger

I’m sorry you are trying to twist the truth to make your crap not stink so bad. But Wal-Mart’s name is on the card, the people I called to utilize the card, identify themselves as Wal-Mart reps.
I happen to have the proper receipt with the activation code on it in which I read to the wal-mart money card service center several times with no positive result. As far as the activation, we had a employee at the Wal-Mart help us at the in store atm. And what if we did make a mistake using the card, hey lets punish me by taking all the money off the card and making it almost impossible to get it back except by using hours of my precious time

Thanks all for replying, but it was resolved back in February, it turns out that my daughter already spent the $70 and forgot all about spending the money, which later was revealed when we checked the balance on our computer. At first she thought someone stole her money but then they had her on camera spending the money on the card. Funny how when they owed us money(or when we thought they owed us the $70 they were slow in responding) but when they found out she spent the money and forgot about spending the money they were quick to reply and show us proof. What if her money really were stolen. Then what?

I have credit so its NOT just for people that have BAD CREDIT i didn't want to use my credit card and it's a good thing i didn't they would have stolen more then what they did! This is the BIGGEST SCAM! I never thought that WAL-MART would steal from their customers but they do i have been dealing with both walmart money card and walmart.com for the past 10 days trying to get my money that was HACKED from their computers and I'm not the only one that is having this problem, I was told that their are a lot of people that had their accounts hacked into and this was told to me by NOT JUST ONE of the reps but 4 of them. I'm still dealing with them trying to get my money.
I wouldn't use another one of their accounts if they paid me too!

The packet the card comes in does not have that information on it. Why are you taking complaints about this card so personally if you are not affiliated with the Company Stealth Pilot? All you do is argue with people who post a complaint about these cards.

I completely agree with you Rus Sleeger. This card is a scam, it's for people who have bad credit and can't get a real credit card. My mother sent me one thinking that it was a gift card because that's what she told the Walmart employee she was looking for. When I opened it up and read all of the service fees associated with the card I couldn't understand why anyone would want one. You have to pay $3 to put money on the card, $3 a month as a service charge, $2 to withdraw from an ATM and that could even be higher if the ATM that you are withdrawing from has a separate fee attached to it. A complete waste of money. None of these fees are explained on the packet this card comes in so by the time you find out everything that this card entails you have already put money on it. I called up the Company to get a refund so I will see if I get the money back. If not I will let you know.

Walmart ge money bank

I have had a Walmart/Discover card for many years and have always paid off the balance in full each month. I have never paid interest charges on it or any credit card. I loved the card as I got 1% cash back, a discount on Walmart gasoline of 3 cents per gallon, free cash advances with any purchase, and the convenience of paying my bill in any Walmart Supercenter. I did notice that the card company would contact me every Christmas as I spend a lot of money on gifts and spend it in a very short time. I appreciate this and fully understand why it is done, to protect the card-holder in case of card loss or theft. This Christmas though, they broke my back! I had two main shopping days and spent about $3, 000. total on the two days. Each day I got an automated call from the card company, properly responded to the call, even called the card company, and all to no avail as my card was blocked on 3 separate transactions and on a fourth they refused to pay one of my credit card auto payees. I emailed Walmart and then discovered that although they put their name on the credit card, they have no control and immediately turn your emails over to GE Money Bank. Needless to say, I was pissed after the last card block (Occurred in my hometown Walmart Supercenter with a cashier present who could have verified my ID or whatever was needed) so I destroyed the card in front of the cashier and immediately cancelled the account. I lost a lot of respect for Walmart (I had always considered them to be the KING of customer service) and now have a deep hatred of GE Money Bank. This company needs to be stopped. Why Walmart has partnered with them I will never know!

Walmart diabolical customer service

Here is customer service for you, a wheelchair user was robbed of £50 of shopping while being forced to switch trolley due to it not being safe to use with a 10week old baby, yet despite the incident being caught on CCTV ASDA were not prepared to make even a good will gesture. It makes me sick that a company who prides themself on customer service and boasts £798m profit for 2009 can not see fit to reinburse the family instead the disabled woman was smirked at by the customer service manager much to the disgust of members of the public who looked on at the distess it had caused. Who is the disabled woman well it is me obviously, but this was meant to be an exercise at gaining confidence to going out and trying to lead as normal a life as possible.

I won't be shopping there again, no amount of money would put the damage done by this incident right in a whole host of levels, it goes beyond sick and as for the man and women who scuttled off with the goods what a charming example to set to your children robbing a disabled woman.

Walmart how did they manage to charge my credit account for a service I have no idea even what it is?

What nefarious and slick practices does it take for a company to be able to place charges against my credit card when I do not have any knowledge of the transaction or even what it is? You would think Walmart would be an above board company in all their dealings but apparently somewhere we visited a website or bought some technical hardware or software from walmart that somehow gave them the right without our knowledge to charge us forever. I cannot Netscape to cancel because they can't find my account but their billing department can find my credit card account. I have canceled through the credit card provider twice now but it keeps bouncing back. Seems Walmart Netscape is too crooked and wily to cancel without canceling my card.

Walmart jerry rigging my tv repair with a paper clip and some solder {told it was a temp. repair}

this company did an in home service repair for walmart extended service company, my power supply board had a dime/nickel size spot burnt crisp on the circuit board, the tech soldered a PAPER CLIP to the board as a jumper wire and i was told this was a temporary repair by the tech and that they would find out if the board was avaliable and then submit the findings to walmart and either replace the board if avaliable or walmart would do a buy out on the tv if not, NOW, they want to call this a peremant repair, IT A JERRY RIGG JOB and this is not an exceptable resolution.

these people are absolute LIAR'S, i watched the whole repair being done, the board had a CRISPY BURNT SPOT THE SIZE OF A DIME/NICKEL ON IT, they used a PAPER CLIP and some SOLDER to BYPASS the BURNT SECTION of the BOARD and there SERVICE TECH. that did the work said THE BOARD WOULD BE REPLACED, THEY WOULD NEVER LEAVE IT LIKE THAT {EXACT WORDS} as i had stated to him, i hope your not going to leave it that way, SO THESE PEOPLE ARE 100% COMPLETE LIARS, i will gladly take this TV apart and TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS WHEN THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE contacts me on the complaint that i filed against these LIARS.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. We replaced a 4 amp pico fuse and resodered the flyback pads. This is a standard, professional repair for this set with this failure. WE DID NOT USE A PAPERCLIP. The customer was unhappy that this set was repaired at a component level instead of having the entire board replaced.

Walmart charged money for product not delivered

On December 10th of 2017, ordered two items from www.walmart.com to prep for holidays. Funds were deducted from my bank account next day after order placement. One of the items (Himalayan salt lamps) was delivered as agreed, by December 21, 2017. The other item (White spacesaver with cabinet) was not released by Walmart.com to Fedex for the delivery by 12.21.10 (label initiated on 12.13.10). Walmart.com did not offer any of explanations to the reasons why the item, paid by a customer, has to stay on their inventory. Had to go and purchase another Christmas gift, thinking why it would be beneficial for the seller to keep my funds and my purchase in their possession for such a long time. On December 20th, got lucky and spoke with one of Walmart Customer Service reps, who asked me to call next day to initiate "next" day delivery. Spent about one hour calling Walmart.com customer service next day and day after to learn that no one is going to pick up a call. Had to send a dozen emails through Walmart.com customer service online - Walmart billing dept. responded week after; seems my purchase is going to be delivered after 01/04/2017. As a concerned citizen, I would like to learn how walmart.com used my funds while keeping me waiting for my purchase for a month. Not sure if its legal. Do we have any regulations in place that might offer some protection to a customer?

They of course offer a HUGE amount of products at "great prices"... but they've killed small businesses, and their quality sucks. I purchased cat food, and the cans where busted when we opened the box!

Me and my boyfriend decided to just shop small businesses from now on... Walmart isn't worth it - money hungry people shipping everything from china.

I´ve bought four computers through Walmart website on May, 19 (order numbers 1317551 and 1317589). The delivery was planned in 2 working days after the approval of the payment, which occurred on the same day.

On May, 21, we received, as planned, four volumes.

When opening the packages, we noticed that one of them (packaged differently), contained only a monitor (by the size of the volume, it´s clear that it´s impossible to put an entire computer inside)!

I've contacted the company in the same day, a protocol was opened for investigation ([protected]), with maximum return time of five days, which did not occur.

Since then, several attempts of contact were made and the attendants, often disrespectful, impatient and robotic, instructing just to wait.

After a complaint to one of the main newspapers of Brazil (Folha de S. Paulo), I was contacted by Mr. Cristiano who is promising a solution day by day, which did not occur until today (June, 21).

Given the urgent need of the machine in my hospital, since all the tasks regarding medical consultations and examinations are computerized and the lack of computers was causing complaints of customers (and I, differently from Walmart, care about that!), I bought a new computer in another (and now responsible) website.

Unfortunately, my option to buy a product via internet to save time represented a trouble more than a solution and the case is being reported to all the serious press releases I have contacts and related to the police department soon.

Walmart.com had a Wii Family Bundle that included a TON of great items at a wonderful price. After doing some comparison shopping we decided that Walmart.com had the best deal and decided to order online from them. We placed the order on Friday, June 18. Since we're impatient, we paid $2.97 for overnight shipping. It stated that the order would arrive between 6/22 & 6/23. When I checked the order status on Sunday, it said the order had been "canceled" (notice the improper spelling that was on their site). I looked in my email to find that the order was cancelled due to a "supply issue". I promptly called them and asked if I could just pick up the items from my order at the store. She was kind of rude and said that online orders can only be picked up if you do Site-to-Store. I asked to speak with a manager because the online listing did not say that items may be low in stock, or while supplies last, in fact the web site says "In Stock". She placed me on hold, only to return to me stating that my order was not cancelled due to a supply issue, but because our card could not be validated! (Was that a fake email then, hoping to keep our money?) Their stupid site allows you to check a box to have the same billing address as the shipping address, but it also changes the name on the billing address line! So, it's sort of our mistake for not noticing. We re-ordered the same bundle over the phone with her. When I went online to check the order status, the "bundle" had been itemized and only one of the games had been shipped! So we now have a Wii game, without the console! I tried to call again today, but they are having "technical difficulties" and I was hung up on by the automated system, but only when I tried to speak with someone. Everything else that was automated worked, I could even track my order! The biggest problem is the email from the original order said that since the order had not been shipped, that our card was not charged. Tell that to my bank! I still have a pending transaction from 6/18 set to come out of my account and another from 6/20 when we re-ordered the bundle! Almost $650 is on hold in my checking account and all I have to show for it is ONE $50 Wii game. I highly advise ANYONE from ever shopping on Walmart.com for ANYTHING! I know I never will again!

Ordered product site-to-store. Item not delivered by due date. Cancelled order. Money returned. Told to re-order item. Problem with re-order. Re-order cancelled. Still waiting for credit. Three weeks later walmart.com reverses the original credit to my account. Now I'm out two charges and still have no product. Customer service is useless - they are putting through all kinds of transactions to my card to correct the situation but it just becomes more and more complicated. Bottom line: I'm out double charges for product never received. Buyer beware - if walmart.com can't deliver a product, you can depend on spending hours on the phone and your money tied up for a month or more (I'm still waiting).

I ordered a birthday present from Walmart and it was shipped with missing pieces. They finally offered to ship a replacement (too late for the birthday). However, when they sent it, it was a completely different item from what I ordered and I had to ship it back. I still have the first item with the missing pieces which now they say are no longer available. In addition, I keep getting emails saying that they are going to charge my credit card again for the replacement order which I have already returned. This nightmare has taken up hours of my time to straighten out and it still not resolved. No one you talk to on their customer service line seems capable of fixing. I will never order online from them again, it's just not worth it.

The Walmart website was running a pre-order special on a PS3 game called Skyrim. I pre-ordered this game because of pre-order incentives from wal-mart, a $10 e-card and a premium edition textured map. When the game arrived a couple days ago, I noticed that it was not the premium edition.

I e-mailed customer service, and they said to call their video game department @[protected], and they would send me the map no problem whatsoever.

I called the number above, and they basically said they were aware of the problem but that they run out of premium edition games and that we were SOL. Before the game was shipped, I wasn't notified that they ran out of premium edition games, nor was I given the opportunity to cancel my order because of it. They just shipped the retail version to me. On the phone with the video games department, I wasn't given any options: not for a refund, not for a partial refund, not for a free gift card because they couldn't include the items which I ordered but did not receive.

Getting a full refund for this game would be a challenge, because of the way the receipts were made for this e-card+game+map bundle. The receipt actually says it's $49.95, with no receipt for the extra $10 that was paid for the bundle. So basically they separated the game and e-card, and the e-card is tied to my wal-mart account.

Just think. All they had to do before shipping out the item was to e-mail people with pre-orders and tell them they run out of premium edition versions of the game and ask them if they want to cancel their orders.

I've since contacted Bethesda Softworks about this situation, just to let them know that a well-known retailer was selling premium editions of their software and sending out retail versions. I've also sent in a complaint to wal-mart.

Apparently, a lot of people pre-ordered this game and got the retail version, thinking it was the premium version just because it had a basic map included. After doing various inquiries, I found out that every version of the game had a basic map in it. The premium edition just has a textured map included, which I did not receive.

Customer service ignored my second e-mail to them, but I had found out that amazon.com was giving $15 credit for people who pre-ordered skyrim and contacted their customer service, concerned about the map they got with their so-called premium edition of the game. So, I e-mailed customer service one last time, and they sent out a quick reply that they could not match amazon's $15 store credit. I was still not offered any other options, such as a full refund for their mistake.

This isn't about a cheap map but rather that this large monopoly can sell you one thing and actually give you something else. I just want what I bought and paid for.

I ordered from Walmart.com because their website advised the items would be available on site through my local store. I thought this was convenient since I could pick up the Vizio 42" TV, the Blu Ray Disc Player, and the HDMI cable on my way home from work. It wasnt till after I placed my order that I was informed that any orders after 6 pm could be picked up after 10 am the next day. I called my local store and I spoke to a lovely lady who scrambled to find my items so I would not have to make an extra trip. The local store associates were amazing, they tried, but unfortunately there is nothing they could do. Walmart.com stated they had the product, but, as the local store associate advised me, the only Vizio TV was the floor model. I received an email from Walmart, com stating that some of my products were unavailable and "Since the canceled item(s) listed above was unavailable when we filled your order, your account was not charged for that item(s). Any authorization hold placed on your account will automatically expire in accordance with the card issuer's policy. Please contact your financial institution for more information." I called Walmart.com that night and requested they cancel the entire order and I would like to take my business elsewhere since I could not pick up the items at another location. I told that I was unable to cancel because the Bly-Ray was in fact in stock at the store. I would have to return to the store, pick up my purchase, and then ask the store to refund my money, or I could wait 10 days and eventually the product would be returned to the store. The next day I received a confirmation email that the protection plan that I purchased for the TV and the Blu-Ray player had been confirmed. I called immediately to request a refund and double check on the status of my "authorization hold" for the TV. I was told this entire debacle was my bank's fault. After contacting my bank, it was explained to me that they could not release the funds without confirmation from Walmart.com that the transaction was in fact cancelled.. Makes sense to me, right? Banks want to make sure they are not a subject of fraud...
Calling Walmart.com back, I was told they could not speak to my bank they had to fax said information and would not even utilize my attempt to conference call the bank on the line. After the trouble of getting a banking fax number and my account information, I called back Walmart.com to provide the information. This time I was advised that since the blu-ray was in fact in stock, I could not cancel the order, and they would not fax any information to my bank to prove they cancelled they transaction. I was sadly mis-informed by the previous agent who spoke with me (this seems to be a pattern with Walmart.com) I called my bank immediately back only to learn that Walmart charged me on 01/08/2017, but also attempted to charge a second time for the same transaction and amount of $800!
So much for a store that is supposed to be an staple for the blue collar, working class- American. While I sincerely appreciate the service I got from my local Walmart associates who clearly had their hands tied in the matter, Walmart has managed to lose another customer..

"COMMENT BY STEALTH PILOT ": WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU THINKING. THAT WAS, TO SAY THE LEAST, AN ARROGANT AND ASININE COMMENT. EITHER YOU OWN A TON OF STOCK IN WALMART.COM, OR YOU WORK FOR THEM. EITHER WAY IT WAS RUDE. NOT ALL OF US ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE THE MONEY TO PURCHASE EVERYTHING WE WANT WHEN WE WANT, YOU KNOW PAY-DAY TO PAY-DAY, ESPECIALLY IN THESE TIMES. MY ADM. ASSISTANT ATTEMPTED TO ORDER 2 TV'S FROM THEM ON THE 22ND, AFTER RECEIVING AN UNEXPECTED BONUS CHECK. SHE RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION NUMBER THEN THE NEXT DAY RECEIVED NOTICE THAT THE ORDER WAS CANCELED/OUT OF STOCK. HOWEVER HER MONEY IS STILL BEING HELD (THEY SAY 3-5 DAYS) BUT HER BANK TOLD HER IT MIGHT BE 2-WEEKS. AND OF COURSE WALMART.COM WAS NOT TAKING PHONE CALLS AT THAT TIME. SHE HAD TO "HOCK HER PINK SLIP" SO TO SPEAK AND GO OUT AND RE-PURCHASE THE ITEMS. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE IT IS A SCAM BEING RUN BY WALMART.COM SO THEY CAN DRAW INTEREST ON THESE FUNDS. SHE TRIED TO CALL A LOCAL WALMART TO SEE IF THEY HAD THE TV'S IN STOCK AND THEY CLAIM TO HAVE NO CONNECTION TO WALMART.COM. I AM SORRY BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT. AFTER-ALL THEY HAVE MANY OF THE ITEMS SHIPPED TO THE STORES FROM 'W.COM' FOR PICK-UP. I THINK THEY ARE DRAWING INTEREST ON THE FUNDS OVER WHATEVER PERIOD THEY CAN HOLD ALL THOSE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. NICE LITTLE RACKET WHEN YOU THINK OF IT. MR. SAM IS PROBABLY ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE. AND THE POWERS THAT BE NOW ARE MAKING THE NAME 'WALMART'/ WALMART.COM A DIRTY WORD. FROM THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES, TO CRAP LIKE THIS. I NOR MY FRIEND NOR ANYONE I KNOW ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, OR MYSPACE, PLUS EVERYONE IN MY EMAIL ACCOUNT WILL EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM WALMART.COM.

Walmart not telling customers what time walmart opens after holidays

Walmart closed for Christmas. Walmart did not post a sign on the doors saying that they were closing, when they were closing, and when they would be opening up again. Calling all the Walmarts in the area, the phones for every one just rang and rang. No machine answered to explain the closing Holiday hours.

I think the point was that they had no way of knowing what time they'd be open the next day since nothing was posted and there was no phone message telling them the opening time. It doesn't sound to me like they were upset about them being closed on Xmas, just that they wanted to know what time they could go to the store in the morning. Seeing as Walmart is normally open 24-7, there IS no regular opening time to begin with to base any assumptions on. The Winona, MN store reopened at 6 AM the following day, but that may not be the normal time for other Walmarts. It's not unreasonable to ask for them to post their Christmas Eve closing time and day after Christmas opening time on the doors.

Ummm, seeing how the next day is NOT a holiday, I would think you would be smart enough to assume that they would be opening again THE NEXT DAY. And anyways, why the huge disappointment? Be happy that the employees got the time off to spend the holiday with their families. Maybe you should take a moment and stop thinking about yourself, Scrooge.

I was shopping in the Flora Illinois Walmart @ 8 pm Thursday December 24, Christmas eve. I had been in the store shopping approximately 30 minutes. I had about $50.00 worth of merchandise in my cart, and was headed to the checkout. Over the P.A. the announcement was made that the store would be closing in 5 minutes. Although this seemed like short notice...

Walmart walmart money card madness

I maybe the only one, but I think I had the ultimate experience with Walmart Money card. I Placed money on my card so that I could do a transaction over the phone. It was declined. I called, what I have named the worse call center in the nation. This guy answered the phone with total broken english. To make a long story short, I requested to speak with a supervisor. after approx 2 sec (I promise this happended). The same guy came bk on the line announcing himself as the supervisor but with a different name. I told him that he was the same person and he said that he was not. (I don't have enough rm on this pg to tell U what I said to him. I then hung up and called bk. I got another not so informed supervisor. I never got my issue resolved. Can someone tell me who regulates walmart money card so that I can file an official complaint? So much more happened but I had to stop somewhere (lol)

Walmart sorry paint

Very experienced in painting. After a coat of primer on bare drywall, then one color coat complete, the last coat starts bubbling up with the primer attached. Allowed plenty of drying time between coats and the walls were oil and dust free. Stay away from this product. Cheaper surely ain't better. I'm doing all my shopping at Target, from now on.

Walmart customer service

Do not direct deposit to walmart moneycard. I lost my card for a few hours, then found it. They would not reinstate my card, they told me I could, for a fee, have it fed ex'd in a couple of days. No help whatsoever. Alllllll my money is on the card and it is a week later and they still have not even put the card on the fed ex truck yet. I have 5 kids and it's two days before christmas - they have all my money and I can't even get gas or food, much less christmas presents! I've called repeatedly but they don't care. Do not do business with these vultures!

I bought a Walmart Visa Moneycard as a gift since it says "Easy to get. Easy to use" and can be used anywhere Visa debit is accepted, including ATMs. I thought this would be better than a Walmart gift card, since it can be used anywhere. This is all it says on the front of course. I didn't think I should have to read the fine print until I got home. So, the cashier swiped it and placed $50.00 on it at the register and I took it home. However, upon reading the fine print, I found that the receipt for the card was actually what I needed to place the money on the card. The card was still worth nothing. And at that point, I no longer had the receipt, so the $50.00 was gone. I decided to call customer service to be sure nothing could be done, but their customer service number is electronic and completely inaudible. Of course, there is no way to speak to a real person. So, I went online to try to contact someone, and they only provide a mailing address. So, I sent a letter to which I will never receive a reply. Do NOT buy one of these stupid cards. Just give money. I don't know what I was thinking.
