I have phoned vie media at least 4 times, I have been told so many excuses. I have asked to speak to the person in charge and been passed to a colleague, I know this because I was past to a man by a women, the next time I phoned the same man passed me to the first woman I spoke to. The last time I phoned a man by the name of richard told me that I was a priority because I have a alarm system and he would send me the paperwork to register myself as a person who wood be able to get someone out within 4 hours. Neither has happened.

I was without internet and television over weekend for 4 days, I could not access my my internet banking, or emails which caused me lots of problems. I did not have any form of entertainment, which after a hard week at work I like to relax. I have had this service for over 10 years and have been paying approx £100 a month

Ive been with virgin for 11months now, i still only have a temporary connection which is connected to the house next door, they charge me when i call them even when they tell me i wont be. They don't seem to do any thing i ask them, i don't want to renew my contract and they told me i need to phone them back one month before hand which is the 25th 06 08. I also told them to cancel pc guard protection and yet they send me a bill for it.

Virgin are absolutely crap. They give faster broadband to their new customers yet the loyal customers who have had subscriptions since telewest/ntl days are provided with totally ### connections which at the moment is running as slow as dial up. They have been told about this numerous times yet do nothing about it all on a premium rate overseas call centre. Their customer sevice disgusts me.

I recently called virgin media to cancel all my service except the internet, because of the high cost £50. I was informed they could reduce this to £35 ! I asked if there was any conditions to this. No was the answer. So i accepted. Now, 3 months later, when i want to reduce my services they claim there was and want a £10 per month remaining per service disconnection fee.

Virgin Media have forced me into paying £120 for a contract that runs until January 2008, because they cannot supply their services at my new home.

The Virgin Media adverts that appear for Big Brother on channel 4 are always in a foreign language and have subtitles, why is this when we live in England. This is most frustrating if I wanted to watch a foreign channel I would.

My Phone line recently went caput and my number changed. I called out virgin media to fix the problem as no one could get hold of us by ringing our homes number. We tested the line and realized that our number had changed due to crossing of lines. I scheduled a time and date with a virgin media rep. I was told that an engineer would visit between the times of 8.00 am and 12.00pm. On doing this i was warned that if someone failed to be present at our home when the engineer called then we would be charged for a call out fee. I heeded the warning and then arranged for my daughter to take half a days un-payed leave from work, so that she could wait for the engineer to arrive. By 12.15pm the engineer still had not arrived so my partner, who works a night shift, got out of bed and rang to see how much longer the engineer was going to be, as my daughter didnt' have much time left before she had to go back to work. my partner was told that the engineer would arrive within the hour. An hour later, still no engineer. My Partner then received a phone call from Virgin media telling him that no engineer was available and that we would have to reschedule for another day. We are now scheduled for monday 29th October between 16.00 and 19.00 hours. This means that no one has been able to get hold of us for over a week. Now to the point of lost earnings. My daughter has lost £30 for taking the morning off work, to be present for the engineer that never showed up. I would like to know weather she will be reimbursed the £30 she lost to prevent a call out charge from being delivered.

Stay away from Virgin broadband-the service is always dwon and you have to hold for hours to get through to the technical staff and pay for the call and then they blame BT for each and every problem. When I cancelled my service with them they demanded 30 days notice but added 5 extra days to issue my MAC code-I then discovered they could just give it to me on the phone.
They then gave me the wrong MAC code so I cannot migrate to BT without the correct one.
Online billing is a joke as the site is impossible to log into! All in all-stay away from Virgin

Dear Virgin Media; I have changed from Bt as I was led to believe you were the best. After having purchased one of you bundles for T.V. broadband and telephone I have had to complain three time. As I have only had you installed for the last 20 days thats an average coplaint of every six and a half days! The first time was on the 22.08.09 when you turned off my sports channels. As I pay £19.00 a month for all sports channels with unlimited viewing I cannot see why I was told I'd run out of credit to view. when i told your operater which bundle I had installed we were immediatley turned back on this took an average of four phone calls. Then my first bill was £14.00 more than it should have been this took an hour of phone calls before the error was rectified. Then on arriving home from work on the 29.o8.o9 I found I had no phone service after ringing you to complain using my pay as you go mobile to report the fault the call cost me almost £5.00 and I still had not been put through to an operater so I gave up till the following day. This poor service has left me frustrated and with very little faith in your company if I have to complain once more I shall be withdrawing my custom as I think you are in breach of your contract. yours Mrs Kim Smith. Virgin Media has got to be the worse Company complaints Department ever.
I cancelled my Broadband in March they keep taking the same amount out every month since and over 20 phone calls, although they say they will refund this amount? they pressed the wrong button (so they say) and sent me a bill for this amount instead of a credit, they owe me and have even sent this to a debt recovery agent Moorcroft who are just as bad at sorting out any problems.
They now have my money and have put me on a bad debt list.
PLEASE DON'T DEAL with VIRGIN?

I ordered a telephone line since their sales would harass me daily. It was more due to empathy I ordered a line. She insisted that a free digital box would be installed. I said I did not require one since I do not have TV nor was I ever interested in purchasing a TV. The monthly price was supposed to be £11.00
I do not use the landline as I am abroad most of the time. After installation I was told there was a one off £30 ...which by now I had to agree to.
The first months invoice was for (£11.00 +£11.00+£5.00) they charge monthly in advance and £5 payment charges since I have not set up a Direct Debit. Guees what the second bill was £75.00 (without me using the phone) and the third month £100. They refused to send me a bill.
I have not used the phone at all i.e. I do not have a phone to plug into the system. Yet I have been invoiced and they confirm the bill is accurate.
They disconnected me before Christmas and now in Jan sent me another invoice showing the phone has been used.
They have broken the Agreement with their tactics and there is no way I will pay them.
Virgin Media, I hope you have access to this site - admit that you are wrong and send Credits and compensation to all of us.
We have terminated our contracts with you.
Thank you for the learning experience.

virgin media is operated by ignorant staff besides ridiculous bullying tactics to pay by direct debit, neither do they send an invoice.
Guess what, Virgin Media charge for sending an invoice.
This is totally unethical as if you do not pay the extra for the invoice they
bill whatever amount they wish.
I have not used their telephone landline and they have charged me £74 insisting that I used the telephone. I asked to prove and provide me with the numbers that were dialled they said I need to pay them to receive an invoice.
The country has gone to the dogs.
Virgin Media you need to sack those who train your staff as you will soon be going out of business. Your staff do not care. They are extremely rude and unprofessional.
I will terminate my contract as I am fed up with your bullying tactics. Kindly take heed.

I reported my phone line dead six weeks ago. So far I have had four sets of engineers out none of whom can fix the problem as the cable is damaged and needs rewiring from the street. Customer services cannot seem to send the right people out. They keep taking my mobile number and saying they will call be back, but never do. I have made an 'official' complaint but have received no acknowledgement. I have been offered £15 credit for six weeks worth of no phone. I am self-employed. Taking time off to be in my property between the hours of 8 and 12, or 1 and 6 (because they cannot give me an actual appointment) means I keep losing money. I am losing business. I am at a loss to know what to do. I have written to BBC Watchdog and would like to junk Virgin altogether save that if I go to BT or any other provider I still have a damaged line which needs replacing and the hassle of having another provider send out engineers who also probably can't fix it 'cos it needs 'civil', as they keep telling me.

Virgin are vergin' on the absolutely bloody diabolical!

Complained about being billed for a virgin media service still after cancelling it 5 years previous and havent used the service since July 2003 the company say as they have no record of the cancellation they refuse to give me a refund. I have written to them and phoned them on several occasion and yet they still refuse me a refund I feel very disappointed as they know I havent used their service for 5 years.

Sale called and promised upgrade service from 4M internet to 20mb for extra £1, with TV installed free. I agreed and a month later internet still 4 mb, rang VM customer service, they said no such deal exit. I insisted I wanted 20mb as the sale promised then they changed to 20mb but add extra £12 to the bill without telling me. I found out after receiving the bill, I rang again. They said no such deal exist I only get what they have 4mb internet or extra £12 on the bill. I was conned into 12 months contract with VM and 3 months later I paid extra for nothing as I didn't really wanted the TV service anyway. VM sale are con man.

you can have the serrvice down a BT line these days so unfortuantely any contract time left for broardband and telephone services would have to run it's natural course.
