poor after sale service!
Delay in delevery :I have booked two nos. Window airconditioner in cool maela lucknow on dated 7/04/2007 wide slip no.1181 booked by mr. Ajay shanker panday (A videocon rep). He has assured me that ac will be delivered within two days but after several phones calls he delivered the ac on dated 24/04/07. He has also promised me to give concession but nothing given at time of delivery.
No after sales support: after installation of ac I found some problem I make several call but no support provided even though after some days no reply of phone call.
Gift: at the time installation scratch card is given to his agent he has assured me that your gift will be delivered within four days but yet I have not received my gift.

Bad response from service center regarding complaint!
My color TV is not working for so many days. Inspite of my repeated reminders and complaint, the service center in my city [Gurgaon, Haryana, India], is not taking any notice of it. All I am repeatedly told is that my complaint will be served on the same day, but no body ever came. I keep on calling 2-3 times a day, daily but other than assurance, nothing happens.
My TV is just 6 months old and under warranty. I don't what should I do further. I will never ever recommend any body to have Videocon products !

my split AC is not working, I booked a complaint to your service dealer at Jodhpur named Suncity on dated 21-7-07, after several reminders fourth day a technician came and tested the AC he found problem in it and returned back with assurence to come back with some parts for testing after that we are waiting till date even after again several remindres, some person on Telephone told us that we can not send the technician for only one complaint in the area, we can not afford the petrol expenses for one complaint.
so please tell us from where we can get some more complaints

My father-in-law Mr. R.P.Sharma, purchased Videocon TV the details of which are as under:
Model No.CTV 22 NP, 21", S.No.[protected], Invoice No. [protected] dated [protected] from Videocon Industries Ltd. Sector 8, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad. Unfortunately, on [protected], it got sparks and was completely burnt. I lodged complaint with service Franchise Sector 8, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad vide complaint No.VE 00147 dated [protected].
On May 24, 2007, the complaint was attended to by the service Executive. He told us that the defect is major and he is unable to repair it or replace it. He promised that he will depute senior executive to repair the TV. Despite my several reminders on nobody turned up. We lodged complaint again on 27th May, 2007 vide complaint No.VE 01136 and talked to Mr. Rajesh on phone No.[protected]. He promised to attend to our complaint. After several telephonic approaches, another person was deputed on or about 1st June, 2007. After inspecting the TV, he expressed that the matter will be referred to Head Office and directed us to contact Mr. Mukesh Upadhyaya on Phone No.[protected]. After detailed persuasion with Mr. Mukesh Upadhyaya, he deputed a person. He got the paper work completed from us and told us that the matter is being referred to Head Office. When Mr. Upadhyaya was reminded times ang again, he gave us another contact person named Mr. Kuber, Phone No.[protected]. Mr. Kuber redirected to Mr. Praveen. Another senior executive was deputed. He also expressed that he would refer the matter to Head Office. Unfortunately, nothing has been done despite hectic persuasion.
We fail to find any solution to our problem. We request you to replace the TV latest by 31 July, 2007 failing which I will be constrained to take suitable remedial action through laws of the land. I am confident that the renowned company would understand the plight of an aggrieved customer in the right spirits.

I have purchased Videocon 29 inch TV(Model 2915) dt31-03-06 from Prakash Electronics Gujrati bazar SAGAR (MP) BillNo 2084 DOP 4-4-06 Set Serial No [protected].
This set has started showing problems since beginning like the picture tube used to curl like calender for fraction of second. This was more common when set was just switched on. The complaint was told in person and on phone . One person MS khan (mob phone no9329642522) has come couple of times after repeatedly requested.He did not rectify the problem and kept on complaint lingering. As one year of purchase was going to be over we again approached to dealer who assured that for minor problem do not get set open if picture tube goes blank or something more serious happens it will be immediately dealt with. Now nearly for one month the set is showing no picture. I have contacted Central Service Aurangabad on phones251525,251555( Ratna Parakhi if icould have listen correctly) I have contacted Bhopal to mr Nigam phone [protected] many a times. Local dealer blames parts are not available. Bhopal office replies part (IC) is available MS Khan has not taken. A customer is suffering for all these months without any reason. Their so called first Indian Multinational Company is not up to mark what even local brands can offer. I have been totally disgusted how company selling more TV then any other company has no care if product develops are nagging later on. I do not know where to through my TV to accommodate any new TV if I purchase.

I purchased a new one ton window AC of Videocon on 25/03/07 from Ashoka International, Sector-16, Faridabad. From the day one it sounds like Three wheeler Scooter, Vibrates like earthquake and compressor switches off after every 5 minutes and never start again for one hour. I made numerous complaints to Dealer and he has not attended the complaints. After two months on 23/05/07 he took away the AC for repairs and returned to me after 5 days. But still it was not working and compressor has the same problem of starting. Even though the noise and vibration were rectified. I again made many complaints but nobody listened. I made complaints to Videocon company and even called up Aurangabad office. They assured me a action. On 12/06/07 my AC was replaced with a new Defective piece which does not have Gas in its compressor. It was confirmed by Service Engineers of Videocon who installed the same. I was again promised for replacement of the same. More than a week has been passed and nobody turned up. I called the Zonal Manager Mr. Alok Tikku got only assurances but without results. Mr. Ashwani, Mr. Pawan Sangwan, Mr. Saju Joes, Mr. Arvind Kapoor all in Delhi and Faridabad they all only give me assurance everyday that it is being replaced today. but only assurance. All the dealers and Company Employees are indulge in mal practices with malafied intension and cheating customers with fraudulent practices. Is anybody there to help me out and get my money back from Videocon or its dealer.

I bought a vediocon airconditioner from NEXT showroon B-2/9 Paschim Vihar on 10th June. I was promised to install on the same day but it was installed on 11th June it's ok. After that on 12th evening it stops working. On 13th June morning I register a complaint on telephone number [protected] and complaint number 400VI07F13008 was given to me. I was told that my complaint will be solved on 13th June but even after contacting a number of persons in this regards my complaint about Vediocon A/C has not been solved.
Every time when I am contacting complaint number [protected] they are telling me that soon it will be solved. I am in fed up now.

1) on 30/03/2005, from utkarsh electronics installed the ac in my house. Next day on 31/03/2005, when we switch ‘on’ the ac, but cooling effect is not there. We contact utkarsh electronics, the person from utkarsh electronics attend the problem. The problem is that, gas was leak from the union fitting of outdoor unit.
2) second summer season start, we again switch ‘on’ the ac in the month of may (because in the month of april we are out – off station). It was obresved that cooling effect is not there. Again we contact utkarsh electronics then they complaint to videocon service centre.
The person from verma engineers (videocon authorised service franchise) came to my house and found that the problem is in outdoor unit. Then they take – out the outdoor unit and taken to the shop for repair.
After one week they bring the outdoor unit and installed, then they check all the copper tube union fitting with soap solution and pressured the system through 150 psi. No leakage was observed, we start the ac and found normal
3) third summer season start, we again switch on the ac in the month of may (because in the month of april we are out – off station). It was obresved that cooling effect is not there. Again we contact utkarsh electronics then they complaint to videocon service centre.
Complaint no – 07e1430 dated 15/05/2007.
The person from verma engineers came to house and told that we have to check both indoor and outdoor unit and take out the both unit to the shop.
After three –four days, i contact mr verma then he told that indoor unit coil was leaking, it has to be replace .but the coil is not available with us, it has to be brought from factory (aurangabad)
After receiving the coil from aurangabad. The indoor and outdoor unit was installed and till date no problem (10/06/2007)
The amount rs 6773 / - was paid to verma engineers bill no – ve060070 dated 31/05/2007 job no – 6726 (xerox copy enclosed)
In the mean time i also contact you and told about my ac problem through telephone.
In videocon product, i believe the product. In my house i am having washing machine, freeze and tv.i believes on videocon product. All three items having no problem.
Only in ac videocon, i am having problem every year since from the date of purchase.
So i request you that, why the problem is coming every time.
So i want replacement of my ac.

This has ref to my complain no kol1105170337 related to improper functioning of my videocon split machine model no VPS53 GVE-1 CR 1.5 ton. The mechanic reported on 12.05.17 as per schedule and informed that the sensor is not working and need to be changed. A service charge of Rs 500.00 is to be paid which was immediately paid by me against invoice no 1952 in the name of Tarakeswar radio service which made me more confused. For repairing of AC machine the company is advicing me to pay radio service. Anyway they informed that they would change the sensor on 16 th May for which the estimated cost is Rs 350. As they have not reported I had to call them over phone more than ten times and finally they reported at 8pm. After trial and error method they intimated that the problem may be with gas not the sensor. The work would be continued in the morning. But neither they have reported nor any intimation to us. Again it was brought to the notice of service centre and customer care.
This is brought to your notice also and like to intimate that as per your advise only the payment is made . This is expected a quality service from a well known company like you.

There was a scheme introduced by M/s Videocon International LTD. (Now known as Videcon industries Ltd), that the purchaser of the T.V. under the scheme of bond, will get his money back on the completion of bond period, i.e after Seven years.
We have purchased Videocon TV (Bazooka) Model no. is 5412 RA, Sr.No. 1811951 on 28.11.1998 Vide Bond Application no. 63262 from M/s Tilak Radio Ghar, (Sub- dealer), 9 Krishna Nagar, Chandavarkar Marg, Opp: Saraswat Bank, Borivali(west), Mumbai -400092.
This Sub-dealer is registered with your authorized dealer: Gala & Sons (Malad).
Till the day 8 years has passed, but we have not received the bond certificate as well as the refund of BOND MONEY and since 7 years had elapsed, the bond has to be matured but we have not yet received the money.
We have continuously following the matter with M/s Tilak Radio(shop), in reply the owner has always provided an assurance to us that even though Bond certificate has not received, (Which is timely informed and followed up from our side) we will get back the money.
Also I have visited Videocon office in Andheri (chakala) couple of times, but they did not gave me positive reply. Even today the owner of Tilak radio is providing us the assurance about the refund of money.
But I want the immediate reply and action on your side to assist me in the refund of Bond money. Whether it was a fraud scheme on your side or the sub-dealer is misguiding the consumers?
As a consumer I definitely have a right of Refund and an immediate reply on your side under Consumer protection Act as well as Right of Information Provided to me By our Respected Constitution.
Further an early action is required for saving one more disappointed loyal consumer of your's respected co.

Frequent failure of refrigerator
We have a refrigerator manufactured by Videocon. This refrigerator frequently breaks down. Only a few months ago the compressor had to be replaced. Within few months the defrost timer and thermostat had to be changed. After several complaints to the call center Videocon company sends mechanic. Currently we are still waiting for the Videochon mechanic to return with new defrost timer, to be paid by us. If someone can buy this refrigerator from us for only Rs. 3000/- we shall be very grateful. It is a double door refrigerator which has a brand new compressor worth Rs. 3600/- fitted only within last six months. We believe our offer is great for those who trust Videocon.

I am Mrs. Lathif from Parrys. On 29.6.2009 we purchased a Videocon double door fridge for Rs.10300/- from CABCO PARADISE (P) LTD, Broadway, (opp.High Court), Chennai 600001. Tel – [protected]. This fridge has given nothing but trouble from inception, and still continuing to be a menance. As soon as we brought the fridge within 1 month the fridge started to heat up instead of cooling. The shop where we bought explained it is most probably the compressor gone. It took 1 week for the compressor guys to come and fix it. Similarly, first year itself 3 times 3 compressors were changed… Unbelievable !
The second year it was altogether a different thing. Day by day the cooling was reducing, at present we cannot even keep a pack of milk overnight without it turning curdled following morning. Past three months, the fridge is used only for keeping mild cool water. Last week I called up Videocon cc. And a technician came. He did a few minutes checkup and said the reason not cooling is gas is over. Mostly the warranty for fridge parts is one year, after warranty everything is chargable. Gas cost Rs.1800, and max. warranty for gas is around 3 months. So I have brought in our local technician next day, and he inspected thoroughly and shown us the problem is gas line blocked, not that the gas is over. Further it seems that it is not a problem which can be rectified. Even if we put in fresh gas, after 5-6 months again the problem will recur. So he is asking what is the point? According to him Videocon is a failure model, better go for LG or Samsung.
We have used a number of fridges in India, and abroad as well. Some fridges we have used for 15-20 years without a single problem. But we never encountered the problems we are facing with Videocon fridge. When I read some of the prior complaints by other Videocon consumers, I understand the symptoms of my fridge is common for their fridges as well. Clearly there is a manufacturing technical defect for frequent breakdown.
So the question I have is what is the use of this fridge, and what is the solution, and how much should we go on investing for the fridge to keep it going, is it worth, or should we dispose of it altogether and buy a new fridge of a reputed brand.. We had a high opinion of Videocon, which is going down when it is giving frustration and starting to hit our pocket now. I mean it just looks like all the parts are of poor quality and put in the fridge till the warranty period of 1 year, after which it is the customers headache to pay and replace the parts. I agree that this Videocon D240 is the worst product of the series i had 3 problems within a span of 3 years.First they charged me for gas charging then after 6 months they changed compressor .Now after six months the refrigrator has started showing the same problem of low cooling .
I also agree with the view that it consumess more electricity .Promoters like Sharukh khan should stop promoting such products.

I purchease refrigerator( videocon D245, double door) last year 2008, but the day they delivered the compressor had failed the same day so they told they will repair the same, but i insisted them to change the refrigerator as it was brand new and was not working, after two days they bought the refrigerator (Dont know whether it is the same or new) after two three months there was a problem inthe compressor as it was not working and instead of cooling itwas heating but after after several complaints a mechanic was at our door step, he said he has to charge and change the thermostat, after that it was working for some time (around six months)but now it is really making a lot of sound and while automatic ON/OFF it is consuming lot of power making my other appliances to suffer,
So i had complained about the same to the customer care so instead of hearing my problem they said it will be on charged basis of rs. 250 for vist and other charges if any extra before seeing what is the problem so i got annoyed and bursted him. then when i checked again with the customer care they say the complaint has been canceled, i am still waiting for their executive to come and check what the problem is some times i think i have made a biggest mistake in purchasing this refrigerator as i have already two refrigerators of GODREJ of 165 ltr single door still working fine for more than 8 yrs, I am repenting on what i have done

I would like to bring to notice, I bought a Videocon AC 0.8 Ton in Gurgaon, last year. The Remote of that A.C has been gone bad, I had filed a complaint at the customer center and the service person has take the remote for repair/ replacement. When he took the remote, it was in Warranty.
Its been almost 2 Months and I have not received the remote from the service center in Gurgaon. I have been calling them up and regularly following up with them, all my efforts are in vain as the simple answer I receive is, will let you know in a day or two.

From nagpur utarsih electronic / nagpur I purchase one 1.5 t split ac for my house in the year 2005.
1) second day it was not cooling properly, gas leakage from outdoor unit from union. It was set right.in 2006 summer again in the month of may
2) I started my ac, same problem was observed, it was not cooling problem. Again I complaint to service centre they taken the outdoor unit to service centre for finds out the gas leakage after three days the unit come back and normalize the ac it was perfect.

D. Bad Customer service, they never responded to the complaint and it is 10 days, no one have approached us i.e. they dont value the customers.

I am writing on behalf of Gravity Microsystem. We had purchased two Videocan AC (Split and window 1.5 ton each) in last year, out of that one is not working from last two to three months. Even after several complaints to your vender at Sector 14 mkt. in Gurgaon (Haryana) under MR. Harsh Malhotara.
First of all the staff is non competent, they take 4-5 days to respond to the complaints, secondly they lack the mannerism to speak to the customers, We have to literally beg them to send someone over to address the complaint.
One of the AC which is regularly giving the problem was taken away for service and change of compressor but they have reinstalled the same compressor which is non functioning and despite several calls no action is being taken by them.
I am sorry to say that but i am not sure what benchmarks you have for your service centers and how do you track the service records. it will be difficult for us to rec0mmend or buy ourself any product from Videocon looking at the services offered against it.

defective product, no proper service
This is to inform you that we have purchased Videocon Split A/C 1.5 ton a year back .we have already sent detail mail long back but no reply. This is my second mail to take care of the service and the pain which we are going through after buying A/C from your company .
Please find below the detail problems which we are undergoing from the day we have purchased your A/C.
1. There was no proper delivery after paying hot cash. They delivered the A/C after a week.
2. Till today their was no proper service or proper instruction given by them.
3. They have wrongly installed the indoor unit because of that we had problem like water leakage suddenly that to when we are asleep. This happened plenty of times.
4.Within one year we had problem on the compressor and the capacitor is completely gone. (The first guy told that Capacitor is gone and the next guy came and told that the compressor is gone I do know who has told correct. But they have changed the both .But now we have lost the real chillness in the AC.
5. Their is a sound in Indoor unit and Out door unit,and our warranty is also getting over by this month.
6. We are totally confused and the unit does not chill how it was on the initial stage.

We have purchased a videocon A.C. 2 years back, with a compressor guarantee of 5years, last year it wasn't working i've sent the A.C. to the service station in last summers and this company had returned it in dec when whole summers were over, this year when i switch on the A.C. in summers it is simply not working, now neither the people from service station nor the company is responding. Service station people say we will send someone tomorrow and there tomorrow never come. I've mailed to the company directly and they had just ignored the mail as if we don't exist. Is this company making the Air conditioners to work in winters only, they say they are so called indian multination but what i say there services and products are pathetic and don't deserve to work as exporters as they degrade the country's name.

Videocrap! No promissed free vacation trips!
I hope that you would post this mail, since it will help a lot of consumers in deciding against any videocon product. Our grief started the day we bought a videocon air conditioner. They sold us the air conditioner promising free vacation trips... which were not available as soon as we bought the equipment.
To add to our woes... when we needed service during the warranty period...we are left high and dry without any response from them. We feel cheated and utterly disgusted with the kind of attitude this company has towards their clients.
Its a pity that Mr Shahrukh Khan who endorses this product is just interested in pocketing the spoils of this of what I can only call "looting of the innocent public".

I have purchased Videocon DVD Player model # 555 just about 4 months back. It has started giving trouble with in 2 months from the date of purchase ( picture jumping, audio repeat/jumping, clarity poor, motor sound, stuck eject, etc. despite of changing the CD/DVD rom and even company complimented CDs).
Most pathetic part is here in hyderabad, (AP) service centre whenever we send the system to rectify a given complaint it will be delivered belatedly with an added compliant. It seems that they are passing the time till 6 months are over. Then jolly well they charge and get income over that. It is a fact that this service centre is being organized very poor and nobody is acting responsible there.
I bought a Videocon DVD player from Parko Electronic, Lajpat Rai Market, New Delhi on 30th September 2006. Since I bought this product this is not functioning properly. I made a complaint for the same to customer care vide complaint No DWV-6J03005 dated 03/10/06. On the very next the technician came to our home but he was not able to rectify the problem when my wife want to put her comments on the service report he snatched away the service report and told my wife to make again complaint if you are not satisfy I can not allow you to put any comments on the service report. On the very next day I again lodge a fresh complaint for the same vide complaint no DWV-6J03005 dated 05/10/06 and nobody has attended the complaint so far I called many times to the customer care but every time they only committed the technician will positively attend the complaint today itself. I approach to Parko Electronics they also refused to change the product. I could not understand what mistake we did by purchasing a branded product.
I had given dvd player for repair, they nearly one month to repair. they gave me the dvd player charging Rs 650. but when i used it at house it did not work, so i took it again to them they said we will check and give within 2 days. But nearly 1 month later they are saying some other problem so u have to pay another 600 Rs.
when i go ask about dvd they speak very rudly. i am customer, if they behave with me like this what should i do. now even the dvd player is waste and the 650 Rs which i paid to them is also waste. They say they are authorised company & if these people behave in such manner what should a common man do, where should he go. so please look over this complaint.

I went to the service center. They are saying the MPEG Board problem and kept the player for nearly 45 days. againt after 2 moths it was dead. This time they are said the memory IC was gone. after 45 days they Replaced. In waranty period (6 months) the player was on the service center about 3 months. I didn't see the player in my house. This is to inform you that I had purchased a TV from Videocon almost 10years ago. I had purchased a remote from outside recently as the early one was giving problems. Unfortunately it is not working on the TV at home, but was working at all the other showrooms wherever I got it checked. I understood that there could be a problem with my TV. I called up the customer care centre and lodged a complaint on the 13th of February 2007. I received a complaint # being VA07B13094. I was told by the executive that a person would come the very next day within 12pm. My husband gave a call back again as the person did not turn up. (I would like to mention here that my husband and myself took a leave as we thought the person should not be missed out). We called the customer care again and this time they told us that the rep would be home by 8pm. We waited again but in vain. We did not receive any calls from their end.
I happened to call up the service centre (080-[protected]) and a lady by name Ms. Chetana picks up the call. (she is so casual that she is also speaking to a colleague at the same time.) I was very upset for the fact that neither did my problem get solved nor is the lady interested to solve my problem. She says to me that she would send a person by afternoon. My question is then why are you having a call center if she has to send the person only when I called up? Why are you having complaints numbers registered? Just for the heck of it! Four days passed and my TV is not repaired and I had to call back to plead if you could repair it? Is this what you call CUSTOMER SATISFACTION?
I told the lady on phone that I would complain to your higher ups for this kind of callous attitude. Interestingly I was told by her to go ahead and complain. Later on I was connected to Mr.Govind Raj who seemed interested to solve my problem. He said he would send Mr. Mahalingam to home. He arrived by 1PM and tells me that the remote is bad. I told him that the remote has been checked and works well. He then opened up the TV and found that the censor is not working and he has not brought that part along with him. I would like to ask you here again that when the customer explains to the rep that the remote is not working and also when the rep tells me that there could be a problem with the censor in the TV why is not that Mr. Mahalingam did not come with the part. It is absolute callous behaviour from you end. He again fools me saying that he would be back by 6pm which as usual does not happen.
Today I called up the service centre again and the lady says that she would send him again and Mr. Govind Raj is in a meeting. What kind of a meeting do you have when a customer is troubled and humiliated so much? I have 60 % of my home appliances from Videocon. I was looking for a fridge and a TV for my parents and was planning to buy from Videocon whom I TRUSTED IMMENSELY. But now I would think 100 times before I make a mistake again. To be very frank with you I now also regret buying my appliances from the Videocon. (You should remember here that when the customer is not happy with the services provided, that’s when he/she tends to look out for other options.)
Last but not the least I would to tell you that you should teach your customer services reps not to misbehave on the phone as they should be aware that the customer that they speak to are associated to VIDEOCON from a very long time. In fact as the lady’s suggestion I am sending the mail to you. (I would request you not to take any drastic action against her as I do not have any grudges personally.)
Hope you would consider my facts explained above and I assume that you would do the needful.

Following para shows my complain and it's status.
• I have purchased a 220 lt. double door Videocon Refrigerator on 24th April 2008 from Royal Electronics Ghansoli Navi Mumbai.
• My refrigerator stopped functioning since 01 May 2011.
• Then I registered complain to customer care on the same day i.e. 01 May 2011.
• In reply I have been told that their technician shall visit within 24 hours but it did not happen.
• After 2-3 days I registered complain once again, that also did not work. So again I called Customer care probably daily till 20th May 2011
• Every time I requested customer care to give me call half an hour before he comes to repair Refrigerator.
• So once again I raised a complain then then I got call from one of your technician from land-line number and asked me about problem I explained problem to him, and he come to conclusion that compressor has to be changed.
• He told me I have lot of work to do so he requested me to give him permission to come on 28 may 2011. I said OK. But neither did he come nor did he call.
• Again I raised complain saying that I am going to my native from 04 June 2011 to 13th June 2011 so ask your technician by 03 June 2011, so ask technician to visit either by 03 June 2011 or after 13th June 2011 but even after informing this technician has come on 08th June 2011 as door was locked he went back so customer care closed my complain/request number.
• Again I registered complain no. THA1306110354 on 13 June 2011 and asked to visit home and do the needful but as usual he did not come
• So I asked to forward my call to senior person, but when call was transferred it was coming busy consistently for 20 min.
• Then Next day I did the same again and senior phone was busy.
• In third attempt I could establish contact with senior and he told me that he is going to raise complain to regional office Vashi and
• Also he promised me that he will send mail to Vashi office mentioning that to provide the service at earliest.
• Parallely he provided me the contact number of Mr. Tayade from Vashi office but it was coming either consistently busy or switched off.

• I raised complain to customer care & also I conveyed above matter to M/s. Royal Electronics Ghansoli Navi Mumbai,

• Then I got call on 25th June 2011 from technician, he told me that he will visit my place within half an hour.
• As my wife is not in town I had to take half day leave to get refrigerator repaired but he did not come.
• I did not want to write some thing like this but I am required to do it. Please take it positively and improve service factor
If you will not be able to solve the problem by tomorrow, please come & collect that refrigerator from my home, I will gift it to you.

Why he call me like that your Led is ready you take tomorrow evening .

very poor tv repair service
I had purchase of the Videocon TV, model # 22NP on 22/Oct/2006 from Kundan Elctronics, Bommahalli, Bangalore. I purchased this TV due to SALES MAN approach for extended warranty and other offers. Just after 10 days time my TV cabinet got burned from the top left side with wiring of the TV colour . I logged for complaint and also visited to the dealer place from where I was purchased the TV but till one week nobody responded for my complaint (complaint # 700VA06J31094)
Several times when I called to service centre to Mr.Adi mobile # [protected] to attend the complaint, denied by him stating that your place is too far and I can’t come at your time. Then personally I arranged his visit at my house by going to receive him. He never opened the TV and told me to take the TV to service centre. On request he gave the contact number of his superior and I spoke to Mr. Balaji ([protected]) and got the same reply that you bring the TV to service centre and assured about repair.
I took the TV to the service centre and got the receipt No. 2188. Till 10 days no-body called me, when I called for asking my TV repair status after 10 days, I received feedback that TV is not yet repaired will call you and tell you (Ph# [protected]).
After two days again I called and followed with Mr.Balaji([protected]) for repair and again he committed me that he will call me back and tell the status but he never turned to me. When again I called to him, he said let me check with my seniors about your TV repair. Again when I called him, he said he needs to talk to his regional manager and get the approval but added the word that “It will be chargeable”.
First of all the TV they haven’t opened it and check the problem and telling some big charges without any fault from our side. And simply forcing us to pay the charges.
We have kept TV to the service centre and waiting for repair but mr.balaji is delaying the repair and telling about some charges.
Please help us to get the TV repaired since we don’t know how it burned suddenly at the top and there is wiring assembly also got burned on the top which is supporting to the TV colour.

This is complaint regarding videocon TV model "NP21" from Bangalore.
i have logged the complaint#BAN0606100069 - 06th June, 2010 which is two month past. Technician has attendted this complaint on 08th June, 10 and has taken request for replacing spare parts which was causing inproper display for TV.
There after I made serval follow ups with Videocon Customer care (080 [protected]) as well Service centre (080 [protected]) at Wilson Garden in Bangalore. Every time i made call, it was assured me that they are taking my complaint to higher ups to speed up but still now i haven't received any call from anyone of Videocon representive telling that what is root cause of delays in fixing my TV problems and when it will fixed. I'm highly disappointed on the handling of this complaint.
This TV is under AMC and needs to repair urgently as display is not proper. If this TV can not be repaired, someone should tell me from Videocon why it is not repairable and they need to provide replacement TV for me ASAP.
Please look into my complaint to resolve ASAP.

I have bought a standard definiton setup box from videocon DTH. It worked fine untill i decided to take another one; HD settop box from you.
I told you customer service that pelase put both under same cusomter ID, you still created a new customer ID. I made numerous call and a email to sort that out but new cust ID is still not closed
I topped up for Rs.3140 on 10/08/2013 and was promised a HD set-top box with two months of Platinum HD subsription included in it. It stopped working on 21/09/2013, well that isn't 2 months.
I went to their website today (23/09/2013) enetered my phone number topped using netbanking thru my Kotak bank. It still says no balance on my HD box.
I found that these guys have still not closed the other account and have created my 23/09/2013 to wrong account(Cust ID : [protected]) which should not exist.
What i want now

i was complain that i required service for my A/c i was complain ur call center on 13th march 2010 the complain no Asm [protected] then i again complain on 17th march 2010 the complaion no was Ahm [protected] on 19th as well as 22nd morning 9.15AM. to 9.45AM i talked to this person are ASHISH REKHA, NITIN, MANOJ, AND SWATI they r give wrong information as well as wrong commitment that they give me service within 2 or 3 hours but then again called to ur centre i talked to SACHIN, SHREE, AND ANUP ON 22nd noon the time was 1.30p.m to 1.45 p.m they spoil ur market image as well as ur brand name this is ur service i think so i was mistake to purched ur brand with trust i do not suggest any body to purchase this videcone brand if u have any coutsey to give and satisfied ur customer then take intrest other wise ?
