I have purchased videocon washing machine 5months ago. They have given 2years warranty. Now its not working. 12 days ago, I have registered a complaint to the customer care. And they told that they will send a technician within 24 hours. But its almost 12 days, no one has come to repair it. And if I call the customer care, everyday they just ask the mobile number and complaint number and say the same old story and some times they wont even lift the phone. This is worst customer care I have ever seen.
I am thinking to take a legal action against them.
I had made many complaint to videocon costumer care but no result & reply. Costumer care have given complaint no 15 days before, but videocon costumer care not giving reply.
My Complaint # is 7PA0087110086. I beleive you would be able to trace the required details from this number. The problem has been unresolved inspite of the technician visiting twice to resolve the problme and on speaking to your call centre numbers am only getting further dates but no resolution.
Expect you revert on the same.

I had bought this refrigerator (Electrolux Ozone) around 2.5 years back (Dec '06) and am regretting this purchase ever since. Here is a list of what all went wrong, first the freezer fan stopped working, the filter from the compressor got choked twice and overheated the unit, the gas leaked and has been refilled 2 times now each time costing Rs 1250... As i write this the refrigerator is under repairs... last repairs were on 13th May!!!
Now for the customer service, Videocon assures 48 hour response, though the technician did come within 48 hours most of the time he had to come second time after first inspection (as the gas filling is done by some other person or he is not having some equipment... blah blah). We must have spent around Rs. 4000 on repairs.

I have bought videocon integra hd lcd tv from mulund next mumbai six months back, tv has started to give problem, although this tv is in warranty period and I have lodged complaint in videocon call center (Complaint no 7al000806060006) on friday but still no technician is contacting me. I have made lots of phone call to their call center but they are also not responding properly. Usually after lodging a complaint technician should come with in two days but they even don't want to response my complaint. It is been 5 days no response from vediocon service center. I am just wasting money and time to make calls to videocon call centers. My tv is in under warranty period, so this is responsibility of videocon to repair my tv but no response from service center/call center.
I purchased a Microwave, the first one in my life for my home... and gifted the same to my Mother-in-Law on our Tamil New year of 2007 (14.04.2007). I selected a basic model Solo ES1197P, as we wanted the Microwave for basic needs and no baking or grilling of anything being a pure vegetarian (mind it eggs are also not allowed to enter the home)!!! The Microwave was the special guest at home, treated very well as it was a long time wish of all to own one. So no mistakes in handling could be accepted by anyone... The product was selected by us as we had seen the advertisements and having a brand name of Videocon, we were impressed with the cost (Rs. 3000) and the brand. It came with a one year warranty.
Seldom did I know through their advertisements how disastrous the product was. It was a big failure. On the next day (15.04.2008) tamil new year (2008), we decided that the milk could be warmed in the microwave. We switch it on and Lo!! There you go!! Our special guest (Microwave) Conks off!! We were shocked at the sudden demise of our special guest!! Take the guarantee card and see, it is one day past our day of purchase.
To think of it, even the service is really bad... We had to endlessly wait for the videocon service guys to come in, and then he charged Rs. 140 as the product has passed the warranty period. He checked and said, that a total bill of Rs.1500 would be required as all the parts were gone!! We decided to cremate our special guest with full honors!!
So guys please if you are thinking of buying VIDEOCON NEXT products, please Beware and I would rather use the phrase “Caveat Emptor” and that too to the power of “N”!!
I purchased a Videocon Dvd Player Model No.DMV 8403. The worst electronic item i have ever purchased. I thought that being an Indian Company, I can get it repaired any time plus the features mentioned were also good. But a beggar is always a beggar. The whole screen is blue, amplifier is worst, remote control doesn't work properly, you Have to be very close to the player to operate the remote control and much, much more... They say 5years warranty-What the [censored]? The worst Company for any product. A bad and a spoiled name for our country India.

I bought a IFB washingmachine and Videocon fridge... IFB service person came in the next day and setit up for us. But we couldn't use the fridge as instead of cooling it started warming things... spoke to videocon service personnel who promised to come in on saturday by afternoon but in vain.. never turned even afetr numerous phne calls... this is pathetic 1st day service itself ifs bad donno how we will have to manage
My konzerv 7500k washing machine became unservicable and a complaint was launched on 07 apr 08 at ambala city haryana videocon service centre vide complaint no do7w15 dated 07 apr 08. The technician tested the machine and informed that the pcb has to be changed. It is one month two days since the machine is unserviceable and nothing had been done by videocon. Even online complaint to central office and conversation with mr rajeshwar of videocon karnal haryana has not yeilded any result. It appears that videocon is not bothered with after sale service. I have been calling the service centre regularly but I keep on getting the answer that it will come in two days. Since the company is unable to reair my washing machine I want the company to replace the same

Sub: Negligence & Inefficiency of S.A.M. Appliances Service causing breakdown of the spin motor of my washing machine
Against my complaint regarding my washing machine registered at the call centre on 9.4.2008, one – Mr. S.K. Das visited and checked the machine on 10.4.2008 and provided an estimate of Rs.886 for changing the spin tub that according to him was broken and buffer etc.
As we took the machine to the service centre as per his advice, the machine was checked on arrival and both motors were found to be working fine. We were advised to get the broken spin tub replaced (provided it was available) or else repaired and refitted. On 25.4.2008, we took delivery of the machine (Job No. 802, 23/4). When I pointed out that the vibration seemed much less than what it should have been, the person attending us insisted that it was working fine. After bringing it back, we were shocked to discover that the spin tub was not moving at all. I reported it back to the service centre and a different person (name not known) visited us and reported that the spin motor was not working at all.
Let me say that I bought the machine in 1987, which true to Videocon reputation has been functioning almost without any maintenance and I never thought of replacing it. The motors were working absolutely fine as the Service Centre also endorsed and my complaint is that it must have been broken down while it was being reportedly repaired and refitted carelessly by apparently unqualified personnel. Since I pointed it out in my remarks, I have not heard a single word yet from S.A.M. Appliances Service.
Under the circumstances, I request you to (a) accept that the spin motor was broken down due to the negligence and inefficiency of S.A.M. Appliances Service; (b) take responsibility of whatever has happened and immediately replace it by a new spin motor free of cost with a reasonable warranty and thereby reassuring my trust in Videocon reputation; and (c) take appropriate steps against your franchisee – S.A.M. Appliance Services so that Videocon customers do not have to suffer in future in their hands. Otherwise, I will feel cheated and fleeced.

I purchased a washing machine of videocon make in october 2006. The dryer of the machine has not been functioning for the last month and the service centre (Service agent mr. Sunil atavas vikas, roorkee) is not attending the complaint. When he last visited the machine for its repair, he demanded rs.1500/- for replacing the motor of the dryer. I informed him that the machine is under guarantee but he refused to attend the complaint and repair or replacement of the dryer moter.in this regard I have lodged my complaint at your site namely [protected]@videoconmail on 15 april 2008 and complaint.com on 21, 25 and 26 april 2006 (Complaint no.167349). Also, the detailed complaint note with the request to arrange to attend it immediately was sent to the vice president of videocon on 24.4.08 by registered. But left with no action till to date for replacing of the dryer motor.

I have purchased a Videocon LDc tv from Vijay sales in the month of May'07. The first piece i got was a defective one which i managed to get it replaced after a lot fight & some howling in the vijay sales thane showroom. The second set which has been also given has been repaired 2 times before & now for the 3rd time it has again got spoilt. On top of that totally unprofessional staff of vijay sales which do not know how to talk to customers & blankly tell that the service will not be done for 2-3 days. This is the kind of after sales after paying so much of our hard earned money.
Please take in writing all the comments from vijaysales or else ur are in for trouble & u will be running helter skelter.

we had bought a Videocon Washing Machine from your dealer M/s Taori T.V. & Radios, Nagpur, Maharashtra., during oct 05. It is still in warranty period. we got the call centre number for repairing services required for we experienced some problems while running the machine. ultimately, the call centre did not respond nor the local tel no. given were answering.
Being aggrieved by them, we now call upon you to immediately do the needful as our clothes were not being washed for the last 10 days...
This is to inform you that I bought a CTV 29" having a model number IS29G in April 2007 from Vinay's, Ramamurthy nagar, BANGALORE. Within 6 months from purchase, it started creating technical problem and is now working at all. I called up to the VIDEOCON service center on 25th October having a complaint number VA/07/J/25094 to repair. It has been now more than 7 days but nobody has attended so far. Everyday I am calling to service center to repair but very poor response from their end. Its like they are playing with me by saying that they are attending on the day of call. I have never imagined that such a branded TV is made with poor technology and poor service too..
I wonder what if after repair also the TV will work in future. As per the terms of condition, the TV needs to be replaced, but nobody is listening to me.
Kindly do something and replace my TV. It is now more than 10 days without a TV an you can understand my sitiuation.
Videocon TV 29inches was purchased in Jan, 2007. There are problems with Remote, Color of the TV, etc since few months. Couldn't find the Service number anywhere for few months (all the numbers mentioned on the card doesn't exist or not in existence anymore). Finally, could track the Noida number, wherein since 10 days, each the response comes that the Engineer has just left for my house. Finally when shouted, response was that, the Engineer visited and nobody with my name exists in my locality was the reply he got, etc... wherein actually I was sitting in my balcony waiting for the Engineer since 5 days in the time he has mentioned, but none visited. It is just lie and not attending the call and nothing more.
I am using plenty of Videocon products. It has been a nice experience with videocon. The service is extrmely good. On 20th August 2004 I bought two Videocon TV (7642QS) 29 inches. One for me and one for my friend. My TV is not running good from the date of its purchase. The day it was installed the capacitor inside the TV was broken hence the whole TV got replaced. The other installed TV is producing distortion in voice. Then after my complaint your engineer Mr. Azaz got convinced and then find that one of the woofer is damaged. After 3 weeks the woofer got replaced. You are requested to please analyze the problem of Pink patch in the corner of the TV and rectify the same.
I am sure that this set has definitely some technical fault so I request you to replace my TV set as this is in warranty, details are as follows:
