I have purchased a USB Modem from TATA Indicom in 325 Data Scheme where 1800 min usage is free/month. Unfortunately speed of the modem is very slow and their engineer has visited and verified that. At the end from customer care dept. it was informed that this problem will remain with my device for 3-4 months more. I want to know why they are providing this service when there is technical problem!!! They are not ready to take Modem back which costs Rs.2850 plus Rs.99 for activation.
More bad issue is that they are not ready to provide any internet usage detail break up at the end of month and there is huge difference in usage units of bill with the usage unit shown in the software of client PC (software is provided along with the device). They are not bothering what the modem software is showing.
Strong action should be taken against TATA Indicom to stop these kind of anti-consumer activities.
