OneTravel airline booking

My friend and I booked a flight through OneTravel. We had searched on Google Flights for the best flight for a leg of our trip. When we clicked on the flight we wanted the option to book immediately came up. This was OneTravel, which we thought was affiliated with the airline. We called OneTravel for help while we booked our flight online. The person we spoke with told us we could go online to access our booking if we needed to add extra baggage. We tried to do this online and found no record of our booking. We both called OneTravel. My friend was told that a checked bag would cost $177 each way. More than our trip cost.

I called OneTravel and was put on hold, then told I would have to call the airline. I called the airline and finally was told that OneTravel held our booking which is why we could not add baggage ourselves online. The airline said that they had added a bag to my reservation and I would have to pay at the ticket counter when boarding. I want to pay in advance to ensure we are able to take our luggage this first leg of our trip, otherwise we face losing our luggage or missing the first half of our trip.

On Dec 17 I spent countless hours on the phone with OneTravel, finally being told around 3:00 am that someone would call me back by 9:00 am to resolve our issue. No one called back.

On Dec, 27, I called back at 3:00 pm. They could not tell me why I did not receive a call back and nothing had been resolved. They again told me to go online and pay for my baggage on the airline website. I explained that the airline told me we could not do this as the booking was still under OneTravel's email, not ours. They put me on hold for a long time, then hung up. I called back, had to explain all over again, was put on hold and hung up on again. I called back, explained the whole scenario again, was put on hold forever, transferred to another person, put on hold and then the person told me they would call me right back. This was around 5:30 pm.

By 7:00 pm I had not received a call. I called back, explained everything again and was told the person was going to call me back in a half hour, that they were working on it. No call back.

I called back at 8:00 pm, only to have to go through everything again. Same thing. Told to go on airline website to book baggage. Went through all that again. That they TravelOne had to release our booking for us to pay for our baggage. Argued with me about our booking, what the agent told us while we were booking. We WERE told we could go online and add baggage if we needed to take extra baggage.

I lost it, weeks of back and forth with TravelOne, two full days on the phone with them. Yesterday, a full six hours wasted with the end result of TravelOne telling me to send a copy of my passport. A copy of my passport. Never have I been asked for a copy of my passport, only by the passport office. Ridiculous.

OneTravel will not release our booking to the airline so we can pay for our checked baggage and be assured that we are allowed the full sized luggage allowance for our travels. The company lied, is disgusting at customer service, does not call back, puts you on hold forever, is rude and doesn't give a damn, just punts you off to the airline or to another of their customer reps to put you on hold, hang up on you and punt you off again.

Unless you have superhuman patience, STAY AWAY FROM ONETRAVEL!

OneTravel airline ticket destination was changed after tickets were paid for

I bought 2 r/t flight from papeete to bora bora from onetravel.com. They issued tickets from papeete to raiatea. Fortunately I had taken screenshots of all steps of the order sequence. I immediately contacted them via phone (Since this is the only way to reach them) to correct the reservation or cancel it. Each time I escalated the issue with a supervisor, they refused to be of assistance unless I pay a large fee even though their policy clearly states I have 24 hours to proceed with no penalty. Since, i've tried many times to cancel. I discovered that numerous consumers have faced the same deceitful scheme.

I have tried to deal with the company and I have tried to go through my bank also.

Now I will be getting an attorney.

OneTravel booking cancellation

Booking #[protected] & [protected]

Tried to cancel the reservation because the credit card got declined and told to hold the charges on the phone to the new credit card but the agent hang up and charged to another credit card. Called right back and the agent said it was charged already so had to charge the cancellation fee. Very disappointed with how the agent hang up on me and charged the tickets which I told him to hold.

Kindly be informed that I ve booked thru ur website [protected] One Travel Booking 2 tickets operated by Egypair.

Checked with the bank your money was deducted from my account but Egyptair money has been returned to my account. Which will eventually means that those tickets aren't valid.

OneTravel cancelled trip

I am contacting you as a very upset customer. I cancelled a trip because you one travel changed the flight I had and that was not good for me so they said I could cancel at no penalty to me. I have not received the refund I have been waiting in and need. I have contacted their representatives to no avail. They always say someone will call me back within 24-48 hours. What one travel is doing is fraudulent and I will continue to pursue it until I get all my money back. The booked tickets that they show I have in their websites for me do not even exist when I call jetblue. I have been told from jetblue that they never paid anything for those flights because they were refunded. Please help me in any way that you can! Please see attached booking that I am talking about.

OneTravel ripoff

The most terrible company on the planet.
Greedy people, shady business. Why would they change the dates without any sort of notification and then ask for more money? It's so ridiculous to me, I paid much money, I paid enough, but they wanted more and more. And if you disagree and would like to change the dates THEY CHANGED BY THEMSELVES they will ask for money, of course, because a small movement with fingers costs money as well.
Crazy people. Stay away from them and don't give them your money. They are not worth it.

OneTravel website and alternate travel dates

My complaint is that I searched for a round trip tickets (Nashville, TN to Charleston, SC) with specific travel dates (December 2 and return Decmeber 3rd) in the search for airfare. My return flight was unknowingly changed without my knowledge. I thought the airfare options were based on dates I gave. After fact, the website added alternative return flight options and unknowingly booked the unwanted return flight and had to pay an additional charge of $79 to book the return flight I had in mind. I think it is wrong for websites to give alternative dates, i.e. dated I did not ask for. If I wanted alternative dates I would have requested them. I didn't. A rufund of $79 is the right thing to do.

OneTravel very stressful

People, don't book your tickets from them!
I made a booking from them and confirmed everything as it was required. I carefully checked everything before booking like I usually do. After confirmation, I got an email with tickets for another date that was unacceptable for me. I called them to clarify a explain that it wasn't my mistake, but they took my money anyway as a fee for changing. Again I confirmed and again got tickets with wrong information. And again they asked me for another fee. I gave up on them.
I will use airlines sites next time.

OneTravel don't recommend it

Oh I think this is the first and the last time I used OneTravel for changing my flights without so called huge charging. I requested to cancel my order they said I had to pay a $150 fee! for that! Why? How come the cancellation costs like a new ticket?
What about helping people without taking their money?
I can't and I won't recommend you this service and I'll tell my family and friends not to even try to mess with you!

OneTravel bad business practices, enormous fees, fake claims of extra insurance

I purchased a ticket to include flight insurance. Attempted to update my middle name and the initial fee was 50 USD with n40n hrs later 75 USD. Asked customer service about the insurance that was offered when purchasing ticket that would cover change of flight and cancellation if needed and this insurance is only available for life changing events. Missalanous fees to include the purchase of insurance that only covers you in the event of an emergency. The fees charged to add a middle name is ridiculous to include a disclaimer that the airline might charge more for the change.

OneTravel date changed from selecting the flight to showing another date after I submitted payment

My son is traveling to australia at the end of july/beginning of aug. 2017. He asked me to keep an eye on flight prices through several different sites. On the onetravel site I looked up, with the criteria, one way/date of travel july 31/17/departing vancouver, bc/destination sydney, australia. The price $588 usd came up with an alternate departure date of aug 1, 2017. This was fine so I clicked on select & proceeded to fill in my son's information as well as my credit card information. After the payment was received & the confirmation page appeared, the date showing was march 6, 2018?! This is ridiculous as I didn't search with any such date. I immediately called onetravel & they proceeded to tell me I would have to pay $75 usd to correct the error. There was no error on my part as I entered the date my son was traveling on. I redid the search with the july 31, 2017 date & got the same result of $588 usd. They still insisted I had to pay the $75 to correct. Extremely disappointed in this (The charge is $97 cdn) & tried to reason with booking clerk to no avail. I have no idea how this future date ended up when I searched for july 2017, not march 2018. Not convinced this isn't a scam to get extra money out of customers or if it is truly a glich in their computer booking system. Not happy with this company at all & would appreciate the $97 cdn reimbursed! I will not be saying anything positive about this company & will not use them again!

OneTravel travel

I booked an international flight and prior to booking it clearly says free cancellation within 24 hours. 2 hours later, i called and try to cancel and i was told that there's $75 per passenger fee. I asked about the 24hour free cancellation, apparently it means, if you cancel within 24 hours then your ticket cost will be refunded even if you choose non-refundable flights. But they still charge $75 cancellation fee. For what? I did all the work online booking it, i was the one who called them, all they are going to do is click the cancel button. They are cheap and their marketing strategy is really deceiving! Never again!

Piekna, very sorry to hear of your recent booking experience. We would like to point out that the website does not state "free 24 hour cancellation". It does show 24 hour cancellation, which means you can cancel for a refund of your ticket which is standard if the rules allow a ticket to be voided, however, it does state with a "fee". We do have it posted in 2 areas within the booking script, so it seems as though this was over looked.

I live in Canada and I have reserved a car with OneTravel from Bucharest Airport.But when I arrived there nobody hear by this rental car company (Rhodium).They have no office and representant there.I had to rent another car from Sixt and I lost my money and my time.OneTravel charged me and they told me they cant refund me even if they sold me a ###.iS

OneTravel my booking was cancelled

My experience with OneTravel was bad. I booked a flight via their website and received all the confirmations. Two days before the departure day I received another message from OneTravel. It said that flight was overbooked and they had to cancel my ticket. There was also mentioned a full refund, which was never received.
I tried to reach them because I wanted to hear some reasonable explanations, first of all how did that even happened and why they decided to cancel my ticket. I was counting on that flight and that was a business trip! Because of them all my hard work went down the hill!
OneTravel is unprofessional and unreliable company, don't even think of using them!

OneTravel customer service

OneTravel is the worst company I have ever dealt with, they are terrible and highly unprofessional! I called them so many times and every time I was put on hold for like forever and then disconnected. When I sent them messages they replied that someone from their company will call me back any time soon and of course that never happened. There was a mistake in my ticket and I needed their help to fix it. And only because of them I missed my flight. I was not allowed to go on board!
OneTravel are terrible, don't use their service, stay as far as you can! Total disrespect!

OneTravel payment

Dear Sir,
I have received sms from my bank about transaction from your company, I immediately contacted customer service by the chat service who asked me to contact billing service.
I have contacted billing service by email they replied me they can not cancel I should contact customer service.
Story goes on and again I got sms from my bank about transactions from your company so I called customer service who asking several questions to finally ask me to call the billing service, then after insisting to talk to supervisor they kept me on the phone for 30mn on roaming so I called again they kept me on the phone for 20mn !
Any one responsible enough to action on such serious case ?

OneTravel rental car booking #[protected]

Dear sirs,
I am tired of this run around game and am requesting my $671.42 usd money back. I never got the rental car in morelia mexico because the agent at the desk wanted a $4000.00 dollar deposit on the car he also wanted 375 a day for insurance.
Now I have made a lot of calls to you and to sixt. Sixt is telling me you have my money and need to refund me. If I do not hear back from you in a fair amount of time I am turning the matter over to my attorney and I will have him charge you for his fees.

OneTravel unauthorized credit card charges

On OneTravel Booking with reference no. [protected] which I booked on Fri, May 6, 2016 via their website: www.onetravel.com, I was charged for seating that I never authorized. I did go to one of the airline's website (American Airlines flew segments of this flight itinerary) to try to choose seats, however, I never agreed to any specific seating on the OneTravel booking online. I did pay via a different credit card directly to American Airlines for a specific seat selection of about $75. I was later charged this same amount on my Paypal account by OneTravel, I.e., I double paid. Not only that, they, OneTravel, also charged me more than $100 for other flight segment seats that I may have selected on OneTravel, but never authorized. Desirable resolution: Pay back the $175 or so of double charging and unauthorized seat purchases. They also did not pass on to the airlines (Philippine Airlines and American Airlines) any of my meal selection requests. So $200 would be a satisfactory resolution.

OneTravel stay away from this cheater company!

Stay away from this cheater company! I have booked a flight via OneTravel website and they made a mistake in my name. I contacted them and asked them to fix everything and they said that they can do that but I need to pay for that service. Then I asked them to cancel my flight and return my money and they said that I need to pay a cancellation fee. What a joke. These people care only about money and all I heard from them was you need to pay for this and you need to pay for that. They left me no other choice; I paid for cancellation and finally got rid of them. Avoid this scam!

OneTravel never again!!

I was planning a trip so I purchased a flight via OneTravel service. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go anywhere so I contacted OneTravel support and asked them to cancel my booking. I paid the cancellation fee and later they informed me that my ticket was cancelled. They said I'll get a refund within one week.
One weeks passed and nothing. I contacted them again and spoke to another rep which said that my flight wasn't cancelled! I demanded a refund but they claimed that it was already too late. Even though I did not use the ticket they were not able to refund me.
Never again!
