Alternative Airlines Flight Booking

Due to the potential war in Egypt/Israel/Gaza I made the decision to cancel my flight. My booking was through Delta and they offered a credit of $977 for my flight. I messed up by then contacting Alternative Airlines to dispute the low credit Delta was offering me. Alternative Airlines then canceled my flight through Delta and then came back and said they will credit me $922 and also stated Delta will charge a $261 fee to change. I spoke with Delta and they stated these tickets did NOT have a change fee. Alternative Airlines also refused to honor my $922 credit and gave me completely different prices for flights I found on Delta and the actual Alternative Airlines flight. They were quoting me over $509 more than what both sites showed on my end. This is a terrible experience and I will continue to file complaints and let Delta know to not do business with this third party due to fraudulent activity.

Desired outcome: I want my credit of $922 within my account and I want the price I see on the website to be honored!

Alternative Airlines Additional baggage request to that airline

I Request to that alternative airlines if i can get adfitional baggage to include to my round trip ticket via CEBU pacific airlines on october 2 dxb- mnl and mnl-dxb then they give me payment link and amount to pay that for the said request i want, how ever i paid already the amount said to their payment link, now they asking me again for another payment which is not acceptable because i already paid the said amount to them, initially they only giving me reason that cebu pacific airlines was really slow in responsinh now yhey make story that i only paid for 1way adfitional baggage that no one informed me that i am only going to pay the 1 way adfitional baggage now i want to refund the additioNal baggage i already paid for them because they did not resolve my problem but they refused to refund to me.

Desired outcome: I want to take back my money since i already paid this amount to resolve my problem but the result is really ridiculous they asking so much money for adfitional baggage again, i already paid the amount that they asking for.

Alternative Airlines E ticket

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding a recent experience with Alternative Airlines. On July 26,2023 , I booked a flight through your platform for an amount of around $2,000. However, I have not received my e-ticket or confirmation number for this booking, and this issue is causing significant turmoil for me and my family.

The reason for my urgent travel was a family emergency, which required immediate attention. I trusted Alternative Airlines to provide a reliable and efficient service, but I have been sorely let down. As of today, I have not received any communication from your company regarding my booking, and this has resulted in considerable mental and emotional distress.

Not receiving the e-ticket or confirmation number has left me feeling anxious and helpless, as the situation requires my immediate presence. Furthermore, the lack of any response or resolution from your customer service team has only added to my frustration and suspicion about your operations.

I must express my concern that the way this situation has been handled thus far makes it appear as if your company is operating like scammers, taking money from innocent customers without delivering the promised services. Alternative Airlines Trying to change a name on a ticket

I originally booked a domestic flight for my 16 year old which I had to cancel. I am in Australia and was unaware the company was in the UK. After being told I couldn't get a refund I was told I would get the flight credit which was $431.00. When I enquired to change the name on the ticket I was informed it would have to be done through Virgin, called them and was told no it had to be done by Alternative Airlines as the booking agency. After back and forth I finally was provided with advice to supply my daughters information and ID. The flight I wanted to book for her was from Sydney to Gladstone return which was covered by the credit. I expected a small fee for a name change, hadn't been advised of prices. I received an email from them stating I would have to pay an additional $1560 to book the flight. I have lost my original $431 as it is unusable if these are the prices they charge. Very unhelpful, and the time difference made it impossible to communicate in a timely manner. Will never book with them again.

Desired outcome: No refund, no booking or changes unless I paid the ridiculous fees. The go to answer was we are governed by airline rules.

Alternative Airlines Not send ticket a in time, not working cancellation protection

Totaly indian scam company! I buy ticet. They say 24 haurs late send mail my ticcet then not send any ticcet. When ı buy ı pay 816 dollar whit Cancellation protection. Stil when ı want cancell my ticet they want pay only 170 dolar back. Also they cant say when pay back :D 1 week? 1 mont? 1 year? Like a joke. Call center talking like a kidding. if fly company not pay back to ticcet why web site have Cancellation protection (100% pay back)..

Desired outcome: Return pay like a how to say when we buy ticcet. not a 100 200 dolar. I pay already 100+ dolar for Cancellation protection.

Alternative Airlines Refund protection

I purchased a ticket thru this airline in April for a trip for June 30th to July 2nd. Unfortunately, I'm not able to attend as I'll be starting a new job and I would like to prepare. I'm paying $83 thru Afterpay as part of refund protection but because my excuse doesn't fit one of Alternative Airlines excuses then you will never get a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A REP OFF AND THE BBB+ is no help at all. And if I have to ill post every week about how bad this company is.

Desired outcome: Afterpaying for it I was only offered a credit of $319 they are full of it. Never again

Alternative Airlines Refuse credit

On Monday 5/8/2023, I purchased a ticket at 8:53 a for a flight that departed at 10:19a. I got stuck in TSA at 9:43a and missed my flight. Once through TSA. I called the airline to let them know and they said I could get a credit. (Which I did not receive). Knowing that I needed to get home that day, I booked another flight at 11:46a and rushed through the airport to get to the terminal for the flight that left at 12p. When I got to the terminal, the gentleman said I wasn’t in the manifesto and looking at my reservation, it said for Tuesday 5/9/2023, not 5/8/2023. The gentleman informed me that it was too late to change it as they were boarding the flight. I email Alternative flights asking to cancel the reservation as I hit the wrong date and didn’t realize it at 12:05p. I received an email back at 1:23p stating that the ticket can be cancelled with a fee but also acknowledged that I had another reservation. At 3:49p I responded back understand and I also went on to explain what happen that there were other bookings. At 12:05 a 5/9/2023 I received an email saying we have to go by the rules, how would you like us to proceed. 1:37a I responded back again saying I understand and explained again. I also said I understand there is a $100 fee for the cancellation. At 3:08a I received an email saying it was too late for the credit. That 5/8/2023 had passed and that I was mark no show for a flight that had not begun. The flight was for 12p on 5/9/2023. So how could I be a no show at 3a in the morning. I emailed again stating that I didn’t agree. I received an email from someone different this time saying that there was nothing they could do. I explained the timeline for everything so they could see everything I did was in a timely manner. Their response wasn’t and they kept avoiding the fact that I said cancel and I understand the fee for the credit. If I understand wasn’t excepting agreement, they should have said please respond yes or no. They just denied me a credit for a ticket that I paid $651 for. This is unfair and they did everything to avoid giving me a credit. Late response to email until it was too late according to their time frame for a credit. Also, not excepting of my response or asking for clarification on whether they wanted a yes or no instead of I understand.

Desired outcome: As the ticket was not cheap, I would like a credit.

Alternative Airlines No e-ticket???

This website said that they were great for last minute flights... I booked a one way ticket last minute for unexpected reasons. After booking the flight, I got an email saying they needed to process my ticket. It has been 2 hours and it still says that my ticket will be processed in 12 and a half hours when my flight leaves in 6 hours. Of course their customer service is closed? Who doesn't have 24 hour customer service when they are in this business? Also they did not have a disclaimer stating that you need to wait for tickets to be processed. I tried to cancel within the 24 hrs of booking the flight, but I do not have the option.. Because my ticket is still not processed. So now I have no way to cancel the ticket, or talk to someone to process my ticket faster, because, again, my flight is in 7 hrs, and their customer service is not open for 9 more hours. I have been on literally hundreds of flights, booking through all sorts of companies and I have never in my life had to wait this long for my tickets to be processed. Never book with them, it is such a waste of time, money, and your sanity.

Desired outcome: I would ideally like to be refunded my money due to this company's incompetence, but I unfortunately know (from everyone else) that this is not going to happen.

I've been scammed out of my money! This site is not to be trusted! next week I plan to go on a social media rampage about them if I don't my get my ticket or a refund I booked a flight on alternative airlines and they took my money but never gave me a ticket! No way to contact them, everything is offline! This is the most unprofessional business I've seen!

Alternative Airlines Non-existant booking, reservation and e-ticket

I made a reservation and purchased an e-ticket through Alternative airlines on 25 Feb 2023 for a round trip flight from Panama City, Panama to Bocas Del Toro leaving on 27 Mar 2023 and returning on 29 Mar 2023. On 21 Mar 2023 I contacted the carrier (Air Panama) to confirm my reservation and tickets. Air Panama informed me that there was no reservation or e-ticket in my name.

I then contacted Alternative airline to inform them that the carrier did not have any flight itinerary for me. The next day I received an e-mail from Alternative airline acknowledging my problem and that they would get back to me. Well, Alternative airline did not get back to me.

I ended up purchasing a ticket directly from Air Panama for my flight 27-29 Mar 2023.

Never did hear back from Alternative airline until I started seeking a refund for the non-existent booking and e-ticket. Since then Alternative sent me an e-mail on 6 Apr stating that the carrier shows that I flew flights on 27 and 29 Mar. Five days later, on 11 Apr, Alternative airlines sends me another email stating that the carrier said I was a no show for the outbound flight and the entire booking was cancelled. Since the airline cancelled the booking there is no refund.

Desired outcome: Please refund $328.24

I had paid an extra amount for ticket protection in case of cancellation i get a refund if the reason is Genuine ,, I had a medical issue,, i had a eye treatment in the morning and evening as my flight ,,, but eye got a swelling and inflammation, i got a letter from the doctor , also uploaded each and every doc the same evening and booked another flight exactly 24 hours later ...Now i am following up for my refund and the customer service Brooke , and Maddy come only with excuses ,,, this is terrible , ridiculous and unfair ,,,, I need to speak to someone ,,, kindly have your team to call me and also check all my emails and uploads ,,,, I need this sorted ,,,please ,,,,

Alternative Airlines Booking on JAL flights.

A warning to others when booking JAL flights with Alternative Airlines. This travel agent is completely incompetent when servicing flights with JAL as it cannot service them in a reasonable timeframe. I had a mistake in my booking which I've noticed soon after booking, 12 days before the flight. I've immediately contacted their support and they gave me the run-around, after 12 days of back and forward emails and phone calls, they finally informed me that they could not contact JAL, as a result I could not board the flight and they kept the money. Stay away. Terrible service. They should not be selling JAL flights if they cannot communicate with the airline.

Desired outcome: They should not sell bookings for airlines that they cannot service in a reasonable manner.

Alternative Airlines Fraud on online purchase

It’s absolutely not acceptable, at any means that by the time I purchased the ticket I have never received any written document regarding cancelation policy or flight changes fees restrictions. To my surprise, I found out that there is no way to change my flight back from Sao Paulo, due to your unacceptable restrictions. In other words, I cannot make any change and if I cancel the ticket and ask for my money back, this website will charge me unbelievable USD 2500. That is one of the most efficient ways to deceiving consumers who buy online. But I will not give up. I am a lawyer and will search across the UK for the rights of consumers misled by obscure and inaccurate internet purchases. An awful customer service. I have been trying to change my flight back. I paid more than U$ 3.300,00 to guarantee flexibility in case I need to change my flight back. No way, even if I pay for any extra fee, which is unacceptable, I can’t change my flight. The worst website to purchase tickets. No solution, no way!

Alternative Airlines Return Air ticket- Scams

I booked a return ticket for my wife and son ( infant) for the date 31st January 2023 and they charge me 2662 including insurance, the insurance mean incase of emergency I can take full refund if flight ticket is not used, however what happened to me here is my son was not well and his visa UAE was not issued.

I called customer care and requested them to cancel the flight and as per thier promise refund my amount, but they just returned only 1280AED.

Since that I am keep sending them request but positive response.

Instead of returning my money they started aggressive behaviour.

I will suggest not use alternative air line to book ticket also note there prices are higher other than the different websites.

I wondering now why I didn't book ticket through Emirates website at least I can take money back for the flight which I didn't use.

Desired outcome: They are not refunding for not used tickets even though having insurance l.

Alternative Airlines Refund

I booked a flight on Jan 2, 2022, I also paid for cancellation insurance and bag insurance. The flight was cancelled by the airline, and they provided me a voucher that can only be refunded through alternative airlines. Alternative airline won't refund the money, as they say it is the airline's responsibility. They have been leaving me in this loop for an entire year, when I specifically paid for their cancellation insurance (which may be a fraud at this point). My flight reference was UFS6A9.

For a year, I have been following up with their customer service. I haven't spoken to a single customer service representative, as when I call their line they say that I need to send an e-mail to their customer service, their phone line only deals with current flights. Their customer service is beyond unacceptable, I've been receiving incompetent responses for an entire year.

Furthermore, I submitted a review at Trust Pilot and this company spent an excessive amount of effort to take down my review. I had to send several documents to get it verified. I wonder how their customer service would be if they spent half this effort.

I've submitted a small claims court application, but because this company is in the UK, the process will take longer than expected. I don't recommend this to Canadians and Americans, you will not get your refund.

Alternative Airlines Flight

On 11/22 I received an award for being a good customer with Klarna, but they have changed their reward system where I usually select

Amazon for the gift card this time it was other sites I really didn't freguent.

I did need to purchase a flight for the 27th of November and saw a website called alternative airlines. I booked a flight and after it went through the date was incorrect. I'm not sure how that happened but I tried to call Alternative airlines immediately and the number does not work. I have reached out via email and nothing. No response. I reached out to klarna for assistance with canceling so I can switch the flight to the correct day and they told me to keep trying to contact the company.

Upon reading reviews about Alternative Airlines others state the same thing there is no way to contact this company. I had to pay for a rental car since I couldnt get help from Klarna and Alternative Airlines.

Desired outcome: I would like for my money to be refunded to klarna

Alternative Airlines Customer service

I called alternative airlines to help a friend who wasn't understanding what the customer service was telling her about the tickets she had purchased. I understand that sometimes the customer can be a little too much, but it is the company's job to help resolve all of her doubts.

As soon as I connected with her on the phone, the manager got on the line, yelled, insulted us, hung up on the phone and said she would be blocking our number for any information.

Alternative Airlines Customer service / website issue

I had a terrible experience with this company after booking. I tried changing my flight within the 24hr cancellation period and the companies website was down/would not load and there’s no phone number for this company on google. By the time the page started working again, It would never load my reservation. I sent in a request for someone to contact me within the 24hrs and it didn’t send me the confirmation email that I sent in the request until almost 24hrs after. Because the company did not respond to me within the 24hr deadline, the airline wants to charge a $200 fee to change my flight. When I contacted Delta airlines about the fee, they were more than happy to waive it due to the circumstances, but because I booked through the travel agency’s website, they could not waive the fee. I would have needed to book it through delta for them to be able to waive it. All I wanted to do was change my flight time to 2hrs earlier. This has been a nightmare. Don’t make the same mistake and do what I did, be sure to always book directly through the airlines website! I will never purchase through a travel agency again.

Alternative airlines are scams. I booked a flight with them for my grandson to go spend Christmas with his mother. When I booked the flight, they offered trip protection for an additional $93.00. Well long story short, we could not go on the trip due to a really bad winter storm on its way. Contacted Alternative airlines to get a refund using my trip protection, they told me the refund was denied because they don't refund for any reason. So these people are purposely ripping of Americans who uses their services. Please don't use them. They are horrible 😢

Alternative Airlines No refunds

Alternative Airlines refused to refund me my money. They were advised a month and half way before my daugther's flight. Apparently they had it in very tiny writing that there's no retund policy. Even with the extra insurance Alternative Airlines refused to refund me. I will never book with Alternative Airlines. Not impressed that it took them over 2 months to reply back.

Alternative Airlines Booking that was put on hold

I had a booked flight with alternative airlines to Cuba, for April 2021. Which was cancelled due to Covid. I was offered a different destination which I refused as Cuba is my home country. So I received an Email where I was told that my booking will be put on hold till April 2023. A few weeks back I contact the airlines and told them that I would like to use my booking and book a to fly to Cuba I was told that my booking has expired in December 2021 I forwarded them the email I received from there college where it states that my booking is on hold till April 2023. They stated that they will contact the airlines and get back to me. The only email I got back is that they are not flying to Cuba.

Desired outcome: I want this situation resolved and in that case get a refund. As I’m being misinformed and the costumer service is not being helpful as they are not offering any options. I have all the emails as proof.
