LG Electronics after several complaint repairing is not done

Ac fan not working and it is creating a big problem as the air directly coming to the body.
Registered complaint several times but the engineer said that I have to continue with this problem as LG stopped manufacturing the defected part. My product is still under AMC.
So why should i go for a product where the company stops manufacturing prts after some years and the customers had to face all the problem.
Please do look into the problem so that other consumers doesnt face this similar problem.

LG Electronics repair (or lack of!) under warranty

The charging port on the phone broke after 10 months of use -- still under warranty. Sprint told us to send it back to lg where it would either be repaired or replaced. Lg informed us it would be 3 weeks in repair. We subsequently (3 weeks later) received an e mail that the repaired phone was being sent by fed ex. It arrived -- with the entir charging port (lower portion of the phone missing - totally unusable)
i contacted lg. They told me in 48 hours they would look for the missing charging port and send it. No apologies! i explained that if they couldn't repair the phone they were supposed to issue a replacement phone. They insisted they could not do that. They will"look for the missing part, ship it and we can reassemble it onto the phone!
unbelievable ineptitude in the repair department as well as lack of courtesy, customer appreciation and any pride in their reputation as a company.

LG Electronics lg front load washing machine

I have a case file initiated today 4/10/2017 #CNN [protected]

I purchased this new product from Fred's Appliance in Spokane WA on 2/9/2017. Service call today found that the lower counterbalance pulled away and detached from the drum creating a hole in the drum (per case file report). Fred's Appliance manager in main store on Monroe St in Spokane WA refused to replace the machine with a new one in stock, stating that only LG could authorize such. Your agent Janika at the company toll free number, "executive authorization unit " stated that only Fred's could authorize LG to replace rather than repair. So consequently I am left having to wait for replacement parts for a washer that only lasted two months! Why should I not reasonably expect your approval for an immediate replacement? Would you please accede to my reasonable request for a new machine immediately. I should not have to accept a repaired defective machine.

I note that the LG warranty in the booklet states that LG has the option to repair or replace. Considering that I only had the machine for two months is it unreasonable for me to expect a new machine. I could understand if I was at the end of the warranty period. I am only making a most reasonable request. If indeed Fred's needs to initiate the request, as Janika in your office stated, and the manager at Fred's states that only LG can make the call, why must I the customer be placed in the middle? Please initiate immediate action with Fred's Appliance in Spokane, WA .

LG Electronics air condition

I have purchased a split air condition of LG from Reliance Digital, i don't know the installation done by LG team or third party vendors but i have never seen this kind of pathetic service in my life, purchased on 26 & on 27 product is delivered & installation was done by 28 Feb, from 28 of Feb my outdoor unit is started loud noise installation team say raise a request service person will come & check the issue may be outdoor unit need to be replace, & I have raise the request till date approx 10 persons has visited to my place to resolve my issue but none of them has done their duty with honesty neither resolve my problem, after few days my indoor unit is also make sometime loud noise & water is leaking from where is started, tired of making the complains many times, last visit done by Mr Touhed Khan or Tousif (Cell [protected]), while he was checking my indoor unit he has done the damage in my indoor unit. & u know what he said LG is a third class product isko kabhi mat kharidna.

LG Electronics lg portable ac units (lp0711wnr)

I bought a LG portable AC unit and after a couple years of light use the main fan bearing started making noise. I called LG and they had me take it to the service center. They replace a large internal fuse with a smaller one but refused to replace the bearing. The service center said when the fuse blows just throw the unit away its not worth fixing.

I will never buy an LG product again and will make sure everyone know how cheap their products are and how little they care about customer service. They had the AC unit completely apart but would not replace the bearing.

Note if you have LG AC products beware of fires.

LG Electronics rebate

I purchased the LG black stainless refrigerator, microwave and oven on Sept 2 2016 at JCPenney. The dishwasher was backordered. The products were delivered a few weeks later. The dishwasher was still backordered and I went many many times to try to get it before my kitchen was finished. I finally got it around Oct 25. I submitted a $400 rebate claim on Oct 31 2016. Did not hear anything for weeks. Called in Dec and finally talked to someone who said the form was dated Oct 31. I explained the receipts were from Sept and Oct (when dw became available). I faxed this in. No word for weeks. Called again in Feb. Was told that the 4 products MUST be purchased together on the same date.It does says this in the FINE print.I had already purchased the 3 appliances but could not get the DW till it was in stock. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got a voicemail. The rep said I should have just gone to another store that same day to get the dw. I have ALL LG in my house but wont EVER buy again if this isn't resolved. I think it is all very misleading and reps were not helpful AT ALL! I got the feeling they are looking for reasons NOT to pay the rebate. VERY unhappy!

LG Electronics lg g4 cell phone fails - short life

I have had two total failures of LG G4 in 16 months.
We purchased two phones.
One failed after 13 months (would not complete the turn on cycle, kept re-cycling) and was repaired under warranty.
The second wailed after 16 moth (image displayed on screen shifted vertically into two pieces). Required $170 to repair.
Very short life for $600 phones.
Verizon said I had to deal with LG. They has seen both of these types of failures (but kept selling the same model phone)
LG said phone warranty is only 15 month and they must charge for repair.
Both of these types of failures have been posted to the internet by others.
LG appears to not care that they are seling phones with very low life.

LG Electronics lg split ac

Hello LG,

I am very frustrated now and very disappointed with your post sell services.

I bought split AC one month ago, second day some engineer have come and installed my AC, but after few hours it has started leaking water inside the room, then I called them, very next day same guy came and fix it temporarily, then after few days, when I started using my AC it again started leaking water inside the room.

Then I opened up a case no RNP170326028064 on LG, two guys came today they checked it and suggested some weird solution saying put one bucket inside the room where water is leaking, they can put water pipe through the window etc. What was that?

Now, I need LG to take care this as seriously as I have been suffering this issue since one month.

Also, you customer care numbers also not working, even if anyone picks up the phone then they tell to contact the shop where I bought this product. Excuse me, I bought it because of it was LG written on that.

LG Electronics mobile lg g3

Sir i have purchase lg g3. About 20 months
Now the problem is it has started call hanging and mostly the instrument has stopped reading sim card
I changed the sim card but not working
I showed to the lg companys authorized customer support at patil plaza pune he changed the battery and degraded the software to thr old company version and gave it to me
The device worked for 3 days again same problem
I asked the concerned repairer person about the phone he told do not upgrade it as the phone does not support the higher version and the company is working on it the matter will be solved after 8 months
So what shall i do!

LG Electronics customer service representative very rood

My name is Marc Passmore. I call LG Customer service this morning at 10:00AM est, about my LG V20 smartphone rebates that was approved on 1/27/2017. I provided him approval confirmation of the 2-200 dollar visa cards that come as a rebate from buying the very expensive 2 LG V20 phones. He put me on hold twice then came back and rudely argued with me stating I would have to contact verizon. I told him I had spoken with a LG rep 2 months ago and had pictures of the approval confirmation for the 2 visa cards and he still continued to argue with me. This was very unprofessional and rude. We have LG electronics and appliances all thru the home and for him to talk to a valued customer was way out of line. This type of behavior detours us from buying anymore LG products. This guy should be reprimanded severely. I called another LG Rep back and she was able to take care of my request, but I am very upset about the actions this guy did. I am not sure we will buy anymore LG products due to this. Here Is the proof of purchase and rebate confirmations. I need my 2-200$ visa cards mailed to me immediately. It has been 2 months already! Here is our proof of purchase and rebate approval confirmation. Please help expedite our rebate cards. Please see attachment's for proof or purchase and rebate approval confirmations. I am going through a similar problem right now. I am trying to do it with email and getting no where. They have changed the story 3 times as to why I didn't get a rebate. They never acknowledged my original rebate forms as received but after I inquired about the rebate status, they gave me a tracking number which says I didn't include the upc or billing statement with my rebate form. The second request for a reason said that I didn't get the rebate because I got money off when I purchased the phone. I replied that the rebate form said that the original price had to be higher than the rebate, which it was. When I sent a photo of everything that I sent including a date stamp for the picture stating that was the day it was sent out, they replied that I could no longer send for a rebate because it was no longer valid.

I will never purchase an LG product based on some phantom rebate they may send to me. Customer service is non-existent with this company. I have always liked their phones but a company who won't honor their rebate process has lost my loyalty. I have purchased plenty of LG cell phones but my next one will be anything but LG.

LG Electronics refrigerator

Bought the #1 rate LG. Compressor went out within a few months. LG hardest to deal with...A and E gave up time for appt and my husband took off work...never came. They said they would not charge us the labor fee. Then we paid a friend to stay all day (drove 30 miles to get here). They did NOT come. She sat outside on porch and they said they left a note on the door. I left them a 2nd # to call another time and neighbor stayed home, came over to wait during a 5 hour slot. Never came. This went on and on. We finally bought a Samsung, moved LG to workshop. Lg finally came, "fixed" it. It still is not freezing! We keep resetting it and it will not freeze.

LG Electronics refrigerator

Life is not Good when you have been home for two separate 4 hour windows of time to get your less than 2 year old refrigerator repaired after being sold some service plan and it still isn't repaired (this is also after having warranty work performed twice during the warranty 1 year period). They supposedly double booked service technicians on the first window and it turns out that the first technician could only diagnose the problem and didn't even fully diagnose the problem correctly. Now we are being told one of the parts may be backordered and if it is, the repair cannot be made until the part is delivered. Their customer service is anything but service. I feel bad for the LG service man as he cannot control the service appointments or part backorders, but is on the front lines. He was the only one who seemed to even care. I tried calling customer service, but they transfer you around and just do not care. How does LG expect a family to survive without their refrigerator for a week? LG should stand for Line of Garbage.

LG Electronics lg tv defective

I purchased 2 LG TVs March 22, 2016. When I received it the HDMI port one was not functioning one of them. I am using port 2. I did not complain at the time. A few months ago the same TV, is not showing video. The picture is coming in and out. I called your support and they indicated to me that they would send someone to check it out. I told them that I bought the TV online through Amazon from a Company called Adorama Camera. I emailed Amazon and they referred me to Adorama Camera. they indicated to me that their warranty had already expired so I had to go directly to LG the manufacturer because the warranty had not expired from the manufacturer.

I called LG support and they indicated to me that they would send someone out to look at the TV. I indicated to them that I bought the TV online and it was shipped out to me by my freight forwarder in the US to the Caribbean(St Lucia). They said at that point because the TV is not in the US they could not do anything for me. If I were to send the TV back to the US it would probably cost me the same amount of the price of a new TV.

Now I have a TV that I paid $571.99 for and it doesn't work in less than a year. Even though your support was able to repair the TV I do not believe that I should be stuck with a TV that showed signs of defectiveness from the day one when I received it.

I was about to buy another TV as I do not have one and I am thinking twice about buying another LG. I usually buy items online and have it shipped out to me but has never had an issue of replacement if I had an issue.

I would appreciate your considering replacing the TV and shipping it to my freight forwarder in Miami. I have a container from my freight forwarder leaving Miami at the end of March.

I have attached the invoice of my purchase with all the necessary details including my freight forwarders address in Miami

I wait your favorable and speedy response

LG Electronics lg smartphone

Life's good right? not when you need service from lg - they absolutely suck.
Sent my very-well-cared-for g3 to them in nov 2016 (!) because it was having screen blackout issues at 14 mos old, cost to repair or replace with the problem-riddled g4 was $200, decided to buy another phone instead and have them return my phone unrepaired. I have called, emailed, faxed them request to return the phone no less than 10 times over the past 4 months, each time same story and routine - let me check the status - no status - let me request a status from the repair dept in 24-48 hrs and we'll call/email you - no response - call/email/fax again, same routine.
Still open and no returned phone as of 3/13/17!
Can you believe this garbage?
These people do not care about customer service, only selling you a new product.
Update 3/13/17 - I might be getting a refund... not clear yet.

LG Electronics dryer - electric

What kind of cheap ### company sells $800 washers and dryers only to NOT supply a power cord? Even my $10 GE radio came with a cord! CS told me that it was to give me the option to purchase a 3 or 4 prong cord? Maybe this should be an option on the stupid website when purchasing the matching or MAYBE the CS rep that helped me with the purchase could have mentioned this! Who sells something that requires electricity and then stiffs you on the cord? I don't mind paying for the cord, but seriously would have been helpful to know before I had the contractor due installation work in my house!

I bought a new television from a Walmart store in dauphin Manitoba Canada ok when brought home we took the precautions of not plugging in till next day when we tried to plug in the unit displayed lines on the bottom right hand corner like it was banged or abused in transport went through the steps with lg customers service everything was going good told me to take it back because of no service provider in our area when arriving at the Walmart store they refused to replace unit our tv sat until I again started phoning around Walmart told me to wait to see what they can do so we waited now lg costomer service along with Walmart are totally just ignoring us on this unit paid almost $1000 dollars and have a tv that doesn't even work with both companies refusing to work with me on resolving this I don't know why I picked this unit tv not even a month old not even 15 days old and warranty was paid full now we have nothing hopefully this message can get someone's attention and do something about this unit can be reached at [protected] meanwhile everywhere you look even on tv they say LIFE's GOOD that's bs so anyone contact me b waiting

LG Electronics lg range with double oven

Our range with double oven was purchased on 2/20/2016. It stopped working in November 2016, and was subsequently repaired. It stopped working again on 2/2/2017 (less than three months after first repair.) I have certainly lost faith in a major appliance that breaks down twice in the first year!

When I called LG customer service on 2/2/2017, I was informed that they did not have a repair company who could be scheduled to come out, but they would work on getting one. Over the next three weeks, LG never attempted to contact us. I called numerous times over this period, and was told each time that we would get a call within 48 to 72 hours. This never happened.

After three weeks, we were told that LG could not provide a repairman, and that the company would issue a refund check to us. When a week went by without receiving this refund check, we called customer service yet again, and were told the refund was denied.

So this left us without a repair or a refund! After much wrangling, customer service indicated that they would request the refund again. This was on 3/2/2017.

On 3/6/2017, we were told that LG may be able to get a repairman out. We were by this time waiting on a refund for the product, and I was promised the refund decision would be finalized by 3/9/2017. As of today, 3/10, we have been told that decision has not yet been made. We were told company policy is to make this decision within 3 to 5 business days. Your policy is not being followed!

We simply want a refund for a faulty product. This should never have gone on this long. Your customer service has been terrible to work with!

No one should be treated with such callousness or complacency! We will never purchase LG again after being treated so poorly!

LG Electronics vacuum cleaner

Dears

We bought a vacuum from lg for few months, then it have a defected part, not because personal abuse. But unfortunately, the response of the customer services wasn't satisfied at all. The company wants us to pay about 750 egp for this part which is a quarter of its original price, also it is still within the warranty period. Therefore, this response makes us regret giving the company our trust. Additionally it makes us advise others not to buy its products anymore. I hope listening from you shortly.

LG Electronics lg 5k monitor (27md5ka)

This product (purchased a month ago in Jan 17) is susceptible to well-documented interference issues. After calling LG 3x, an LG call centre representative did call back and without an apology for the issue said LG would not replace under warranty a faulty unit as is required under Australian Law. LG's behaviour is not only a ruinous example of bad customer service, it is unethical and in Australia illegal. This is now before the Department of Consumer Affairs and the ACCC a regulatory body covering the application of Consumer Law.
