LG Electronics warranty/repair lg french door refrigerator lfxc24726

We live in Maui/Hawaii and have a LG French Door Refrigerator LFXC24726 bought at Lowe's Maui for $2, 373 in November 2015.

On January 22, 2019 we noticed that our fully-filled fridge was no longer cooling and the frozen food was thawed even though the compressor was running. We contacted LG Customer Service by phone. Our device has a Smart Diagnosis feature that allowed us to transfer the device's data via Smartphone to LG person while we were talking to him. After evaluating this data, the Customer Service employee informed us that we had opened the refrigerator door 26 times within the past 24 hours (absolutely not correct) and that the appliance would therefore no longer work!

To solve the problem, he asked us to open and close the freezer door three times in a row. We were surprised that he didn't ask us to additionally wear a red hat, jump on our left leg, sing Hallelujah and make a selfie of ourselves. After 6 hours of waiting, we were supposed to get back to LG if the device didn't work - and the device didn't work (!) and we called LG again.

Shortly after the phone conversation we got this email from LG Customer Service: "because sealed system is actually dificult to repair it might take a little longer to get the unit fixed. to help get your unit repaired as quickly as possible, heres what i can do... im going to ship 2 commonly used parts directly to your home so that the tech will have them at
the time of their visit. PARTS WILL BE SENDING: compressor 1, drier 1"

When we called on January 23rd when we could expect the repair, we were told that LG would first have to find a "third party" on Maui to carry out the repair, the Customer Service department would have 3 - 5 days to do so. We were stunned, because it is a 3 years and 2 1/2 months old unit, whose compressor must not break after 3 years and that's why LG has a 10 year warranty on it. We live here on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with only 100.000 inhabitants, but still: After this LG appliance was sold a hundred times at Lowe's and one or the other (maybe already many) LG refrigerator has surely needed a repair service already, there will probably be a LG cooperation partner on island! By the way, LG categorically refused to provide a smaller rental unit.

On 25 January we received this email from LG: "We regret to inform you that we were unsuccessful in locating a Servicer and will need to escalate to our Resolutions department. Please upload a copy of your Proof of Purchase (Receipt) ... they will promptly review."

On 26 January (Saturday) we sent LG the Proof of Purchase.

On 28 January (Monday) we called LG again. We learned that the Resolution Department has just received the case for processing and now has again! 5! more days to process it.

It is certainly not necessary that we express our annoyance about this absolutely unacceptable, actually even customer contemptuous "service" of LG and that this will be our first and last LG device.

We will report here on how this matter is developing.

I am disappointed with T-Mobile. I have been a customer for many years and in the past have resisted moving to another cellular-phone provider.

My disappointment is a result of a recent mobile phone my wife bought me for Christmas. I have used a Samsung Galaxy Avant for years and have been satisfied yet I often get news and email via my mobile phone rather than computer. The small screen size is a disadvantage.

My wife purchased an LG Stylo 4 phone from a T-Mobile store because of the large screen. She purchased it late November but it was not used until Christmas day, 2018. She paid cash.

The phone quit working about two weeks later. Everything appeared functional but the microphone. I could hear but not talk. The next day the unit would not turn on.

I took it to the local T-Mobile store. There were two small spots on the screen and the T-Mobile person promptly stated water damage. How could he quickly decide this? Water damage is not warranteed. The screen did have a screen protector. He suggested I cover the phone with rice to remove water; T-Mobile would do nothing about the phone. The phone has been covered with rice with no improvement.

Later I called T-Mobile and talked with a representative. He promptly transferred me to the LG representative who said I could send the phone to them, pay $19.95, and they would look at it. If the result was water damage they would not attempt to repair it.

The phone has been treated similar to the Samsung phone I still use. I did charge it in the bathroom; steam from a shower could be a cause. This the same place I have charged my Samsung phone for years. I may have used the new phone in a snow storm - common in Utah - again, treatment of the phone has been similar to the Samsung. Is the LG design is faulty?

I suppose that LG may not be a reliable yet I have LG kitchen and laundry appliances and they appear to be excellent.

I am disappointed in T-Mobile and may move to another company. I am eighty years old, retired, and on fixed income. I don't need the expense of constantly replacing faulty products.

LG Electronics complaint

• I contacted the customer service for the maintenance of an automatic washing machine the machine still in warranty
• LG Egypt was sent to the maintenance representative and explained that the washing machine needs a power card
• after two days someone contacted me to fixing and replace the new spare parts (power card) and during fixing the representative discovered that the new spare parts is not suitable for the model washing machine and during that he broke the buttons of (Time Delay)
• The representative told me he will communicate with the company and tell them what happened with the broken buttons and the power card
• I contacted the customer service again next day and I explained my complaint in details and send the pictures (attached) but the response from their side shocked me and they deny that and told me the broken buttons is misuse
• washing machine serial no. 603TWNM0V655 and model FH496TDT24.ALSPEEC Made in Thailand

LG Electronics microwave

I had mine LG LCRT2010ST one year and 10 months and the magnetron tube failed. Customer service only pays for the part. No way should it have failed not even being 2 years old and they would not cover the labor. My husband died in October and my microwave broke a few days later. It was a few months before I called customer service because of everything going on. I called they yesterday. They said to send my receipt and they would send it to "Higher Ups" for approval for labor costs. I did and they denied my request for repair.

LG Electronics very bad customer support in Egypt

Dear manager of LG
I would like to complain badly from customer service and support
I bought a smart TV 49UK6300 only 3 months ago and I developed a serious problem as motherboard died and I called call center and they sent me an agent and they took the TV for repair 21 days ago
Since then they never contacted me again and I kept calling the call center and they never helped me
Please sir they should have shown some respect for customer
Please help me to solve my problem

Dear LG Manager,
I would like to complain about customer service in Egypt as The problem started since two month ago my refrigerator New LG inveter linear compressor stopped working so i called the customer service in Egypt, they said that they'll call me and send me some one to check for maintenance I mean so that person came and said that he'll try to solve the problem and call us again but since then I've been calling but nothing happened they sent the same person again he said that the refrigerator must be changed as the spare parts of this refrigerator isn't available so we will change for you the refrigerator as it's still in the warranty period and since then no one called or came, at first when I bought this LG Brand is a well known one I thought that I'm buying a good one according to reputation for years so I thought of sending LG corporation in South Korea as this is my last hope before going back to them here in Egypt n returning it back and take my money or sharing on social media this incident as I've been for 2 month or more without placing food in a refrigerator n this isn't acceptable at all so plz if you can contact or help me by calling them and reply me back through my e_mail (rony_moe@hotmail.com)

LG Electronics lg 49" 4k tv

Upon arrival to lg tv store in cairo festival city, cairo, egypt lg sales agent in store recomended the 49"instead of the 55" for my room dimensions, when I arrived home I found the screen small and returned to the lg store 2 days later to replace the 49"screen with a 55" one and pay the differnece in price, this was refused by the store specially mr. Mohamed wagdi, stating that the remote control was out of its original packaging!

This is against the policy on the invoice which states that the product could be replaced within 14 days of its sale...

This gives a bad reputation to a reputable company such as lg

LG Electronics lack of consideration on doing responsibilities from lg representative

I am writing to complain about a technical problem and express my dissatisfaction with your product that has caused me great discontent about LG products. I bought an LG side by side refrigerator on 2013/08/04 vide Serial No. SX 5027TF-210KRVQ2F903 but it stopped working 3 months ago and since then its cooling system is not as effective it should be and the freezer does not work well. I called LG representative in Tehran and they sent their technician. The problem as the technician said was the malfunction of the solenoid valve. He repaired it bt a few days after that it stopped working again. Therefore, I would request you to advise me immediately as to what I should do in the matter.

I greatly appreciate your help.

LG Electronics after sales service

Good morning my name is Babis Boulougaris and I am from Greece. Two years ago 24/11/2016 I spent 2000€ in order to buy my first oled TV a 55B6V (S/N:610MALF8U080) and of course I chose LG brand following their well established reputation about making the best oled panels in the market. The picture quality of the product is fantastic. However three weeks ago I saw a YouTube symbol and a local channel symbol in the upper left corner. Also a Netflix logo in the down right corner as well. My usage of the product is a typical TV usage. We use the TV about 3 hours per day, we don't play games and we never leave the TV on if someone is not using it. When I saw it I thought may be a temporary image retention so I did the noise clearance but unfortunately the marks on the screen remain. I contacted with the LG in Greece but their answer is that the product is by 1 month out of warranty so I must pay for the repair. I find difficult to believe that a brand like LG does not care for the longevity of a high quality and high-priced product as it is advertised and accepts as logical to have this kind of problems in two years of average customer usage. I chose the brand because of their well established brand name and the customer trust that occurs from it. I believe that you will check my case and I will continue to enjoy my beautiful TV .

LG Electronics deplorable warranty repair scheduling service

I tried to set up an appointment for warranty repair on our 8 month old oven and ran into huge issues with your phone staff. I wanted an appointment on Friday the 18th (over two weeks away) so I could take (unpaid) time off work that best fit my schedule. I was told that they would make the appointment for a Friday two weeks off and they would call back to confirm. They called on the Sunday before and said the appointment was for Wednesday. I said I needed it for the Friday and that I had already scheduled the time off. They told me they would check with the repair center when they opened on Monday morning and get back to me. No one called. I called LG on Wed. to see what was happening and was told that the appointment was now for the following Wed. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with this, they spoke internally and said they would call back. They didn't. (on a side note, I left my number to complete my customer satisfaction telephone survey and they didn't call back--TWICE). I called back again and was told they had sent me an email. I didn't get one--don't know if this was a lie or a mistake (sad to have to say for sure). We went back up the chain of command there and eventually I was told that the service people weren't working on Friday the 18th at all and this was the first I was told of this. I had already taken the time off for the 18th, too. They offered me and additional 6 months manufacturer's warranty as compensation. NOW WHY WOULD I WANT AN ADDITIONAL 6 MONTHS MISERY?, ESPECIALLY IN THE CONTEXT OF MY ALREADY HAVE PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY THROUGH HOME DEPOT? They said the service people were working on the 25th, so now I have taken that time off too. I eagerly await their confirmation call. I can't wait to see how this can further get screwed up.
This treatment is deplorable and one that cannot be tolerated. I spent three thousand for this range and LG can't even book a repair. No wonder people go to Costco to buy big ticket items. I can just take it back there and get a new one, no questions asked. No hoops. No lies. No errors. LG should be ashamed of itself.

LG Electronics vacuum cleaner model vi-3870hts

I correspond with you from Iran. I bought a vacuum cleaner model VI-3870HTS from your products in March last year, which unfortunately failed and broken its handle after a few days (Hose Assembly, Flexible) without any res . I went to your after sales service representative in AHWAZ city in Iran for repairing it, but it seems there is a fundamental problem in design or material of them that never report to your company because there was many case like me. LG Company don't accept any responsibility now, why?
Excuse me, may be it seems impolitely, but I believe, this is shameful for a big company like you.

Please investigate and take prompt action.
I will send you pictures and documents about subject, if necessary.

LG Electronics countertop microwave oven

I called on Oct 22 2018 to get tech support for a microwave oven that seemed to be working fine but would not heat anything in the oven. The customer service rep was informed that I had purchased the microwave a year and a half before my call to LG. He informed me not to worry that I would be getting a check for the defective oven. after several days I called again was informed again that I was receiving a check In the amount of my original purchase. I thought wow what a great company, so I purchased another LG Microwave. A couple of weeks later still no check, no email, no mail, so I called again. Again I was informed I was receiving a check. Today I called customer service again and have been informed that I will not be receiving a check. I would NEVER have purchased another LG product if I had known they were deceiving me about the check to replace my Microwave. Buyer Beware!
Never Purchase any products from LG a VERY Disreputable Manufacture!

LG Electronics no service

Hello,

Hope my e-mail finds you well!

I wrote this e-mail to complain about something i cannot believe happens at your company, as i know you are one of the major companies worldwide.
I have a washing machine WD-12476RD since 2010, suddenly stopped and i called customer service and the technician informed me that there are 3 parts needed to replace, I agreed but unfortunately the following day customer service called to inform me that there is no any spare parts for this model since they stopped manufacturing this model!
How come someone trust your model again if there is no customer service for some products after several years?!
What i should do with the washing machine i have?!
Even I offered to them to replace it with any new one and i will pay the difference but they refused!

Your help is really appreciated!

LG Electronics lg 4k tv screen issue

A 70UF7700 LG 4K TV set was purchased in February 2016 at a cost of more than $3, 000. It has developed a back lighting display issue that has resulted in a dark spot of about 12- 16" appearing in the middle of the screen. This spot is readily visible as a large shaded area when watching television. Although the warranty for the TV has expired, it should not be unwatchable with such a large artifact in less then 3 years. I first contacted a local repair shop by phone to describe the problem and received a response that in all probability, the screen would have to be replaced and that it would likely be more cost effective to replace the TV. I immediately followed up with LG on January 9th, providing them with a bill of sale and photos of the very poor image quality. They advised me that the TV was out of warranty and would do nothing to resolve the issue. I was given the name of a local LG TV repair shop to contact. I contacted them and was told to bring the TV in for assessment and advised that even if it was irreparable (which I had already been told is likely the case) I would be charged at least a $100 diagnostic fee. I called LG again on January 10th, to ask them to pay for the diagnostic fee. After all, if the TV must be replaced, why should I also have to pay even more to have this confirmed, particularly when LG refused to provide any support for their defective television? Subsequent contact with LG resulted in another terse reply by e-mail telling me that the TV was out of warranty and any request for assistance is rejected. See attached e-mail message from LG. I understand that it is out of warranty but a $3, 000 TV set should last more than 2.75 years!

The set is defective and should be repaired or replaced by LG. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none was available. I then asked for a follow up call and none was received. LG is obviously disinterested in resolved this issue.

LG Electronics delivery

Good Morning,
My husband and I ordered a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and dish washer on November 24, 2018 from Selma, CA. As of today January 8th, 2019. It has not been delivered. We have called the delivery truck, home depot to see what's going on as of today, our appliances have been rescheduled 3 times. At this point. I'm very frustrated with the quality of service the whole system has provided. We spoke to an LG manager and they promised someone would call us for delivery, as of yet no one has called us. Who can you referrer me to speak to about my complaint. All I want is my appliances that I paid for 2 months ago delivered is that so difficult?

LG Electronics 65' lg 4k tv

I purchased an LG model 65SK8000PVA in November of 2018 and have lighting problems evident during dark scenes. Vertical lines appear, breaking the viewing area into 5 distinctive lighting panels. I called customer support last week on 3 occasions with no resolution to my problem. Customer Service has been less than helpful. I own other LG TV`s in my home and love them, which is why I purchased this recent 65". I can`t believe the difficulty that I am having getting a replacement only 6 weeks after purchasing a defective product.

LG Electronics fridge

Our compressor on our LG fridge ceased on December 9th. We had a service person look at it from an independent contractor who confirmed it was the compressor but said it was difficult to get parts from LG. As a result we signed up to the LG warranty extension. A service person showed up after ten days on December 19th, but didn't have the parts and told us he wasn't approved to fix compressors. This was despite the fact that we told the service department what the problem was and what they needed to bring.

A second service date was scheduled for December 24th. We phoned on December 24th to check on the status of our service call to be told that it had been cancelled. But no one had notified us prior to us calling. We were then informed that no one was available prior to January. LG said they would call about scheduling a date. We contacted LG and was given an appointment for January 7th and that we would receive a text to confirm on January 6th. We did not receive a text. When we called on January 7th, we were told that the appointment was not happening as no one had scheduled it. Once again we were mislead about the service appointment and had to call ourselves to get any update.

We still have no idea of when or if someone will fix our LG Fridge

We are now a month without a fridge over an important holiday period and have consistently been mislead about when it would be fixed and also that they could fix the fridge.

$3000 and 3 years later fridge died. 2 Appts made by LG for technical support by company called A&E who didnt show up for either appt. 2 Days of my time wasted. LG sent a compressor and dryer to my house (guess they must have had a clue as to what had gone wrong) for the A&E repair person. They're still lying in my hallway. When is LG management going to...

LG Electronics false advertising. need to buy magic remote for ai features

I purchased an LG 50UK6500AUA smart TV which is an absolute piece of crap. After a tedious and unintuitive setup process which did not initially work for DirecTV ( I had to enter several different codes to find the correct one for the TV)
In order to use the Google Assistant feature which is a prime selling point of this TV, you have to purchase a separate Magic Remote. The remote that comes with the TV does not have the Google Assistant functionality. I believe that this is false advertising leading the consumer to think that they are purchasing a device that has the ability to function as advertised. No where is it stated on the box, the limited instruction manual, or the advertising material that you have to purchase a separate Magic Remote for the television to work as advertised.
I had previously purchased an LG washer and dryer which also had SmartthinQ features which were totally useless.
I think I've learned my lesson now: no more LG products for me.

LG Electronics fridge not cooling and service persons charging huge amount for repair

We bought lg side by side door fridge in May 2017. In oct 2018 cooling issue came and gas smell was coming, we called customer care and registered complaint then came service person charged 9500 saying coil has gone. Now again in dec 2018 again same gas leak, now they say compressor has gone and charge is 12000. Though we complain through customer care the complaint will not be registered they route to 3rd party persons.

LG Electronics still under warranty, but the authorized agent is not willing to repair

I bought LG refrigerator, Model : LT1472BBVI, Volume (Cft) 14.9622592 . ADC35086348 (PZ) (CT4) from Saudi Arabia and shipped it to Egypt. When I started using it, I heard repetitive noise of a whistle coming out of the refrigerator all the time. I contacted LG authorized agent in Egypt, but he said it is not under warranty because I did not buy it from Egypt.
