Frustrating experience buying from Electric Bargain Store: Invalid input error and confusing message
I tried to buy something from Electric Bargain Store and boy, was it frustrating! I punched in my order three times and each time, it wouldn't work. I got this really weird message that said something like "Invalid input" and then it told me to press my browser's back button. What does that even mean?
The message told me to make sure the characters I typed in were normal, like just regular letters and numbers. I mean, duh, obviously I was typing normal stuff. But then it said something about special symbols like !@#$%^&*-(),+={}?:", which, to be honest, I'm not even sure I know what those mean.
I don't know what's going on with this website, but they need to get it together. If you're trying to buy something and you get this message, don't waste your time like I did. Just contact customer service and give them all this weird information that they're asking for, like the time of the error and the field name and all that. It's just a big hassle.
But hey, maybe it was just a fluke and their other stuff is really great quality. Who knows? All I know is that I'm not going to bother trying to buy anything from Electric Bargain Store again until they make it easier.
Great products and customer service from Electric Bargain Store, minus missing screws
I recently bought some products from Electric Bargain Store and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with my experience. The items arrived on time and in good condition - everything was correct and well-packed. However, there were a couple of small screws missing from two of the packages, which was a bit of a bummer. Like, come on, I paid for everything so it's a fair request to want everything there, ya know? Anyway, I sent an email and asked if they could send me a couple of replacement screws. They were kind enough to respond quickly and told me they would send them right away.
The screws that were missing were actually pretty small and flatheaded which made them a bit tricky to find. But thanks to the help from the Electric Bargain Store team, they were able to navigate this for me. The plates were generally pretty easy to install but those missing screws definitely trip you up! I ended up putting them on without the screws at first but it didn't look great without them. Overall, the plates look very clean and sleek without any screws showing. I definitely think I'll be coming back for more of these as I swap them out in other parts of my home. I just ordered some smoke detectors from Electric Bargain Store and BOY, what a mess! I was really antsy to get these detectors because I had a job to finish, if you catch my drift. But it took over a month for them to show up! I mean, come on guys, that's a long time to wait! I had to get on the horn and call them to find out what was going on. When I finally talked to someone, they said they'd look into it, but then they never called me back! What's the deal with that? So, I canceled the order because I needed to get these detectors somewhere else and guess what? TWO WEEKS later they show up at my door. Where were they hiding, huh? You'd think these guys would have told me about any delays and stuff since they're my supplier and all, but no. Anyway, I ended up ordering them from another supplier and I got them in just 2 days. So long, Electric Bargain Store!

I got myself one of those carbon monoxide smoke detectors and also four smoke detectors from the electric bargain store. Wanted a new item for my travel trailer. It was mounted on the ceiling (First Alert model CO400RVA, which apparently is no longer made). The original item had a front entry for the battery. This product was marketed as having a front entry for the battery. The picture even showed this type but the item received was a rear battery entry (First Alert model CO400B). Hope they update the picture and description.
However, the good thing is that the shape and size of the new one is the same as the original. Therefore, I could fix it into the ceiling mounting bracket with ease.
Exceptional Service and Delicious Food: A Review of XYZ Restaurant
When I tried to call at 9 am pacific time; the automated operator advises to leave a msg. and someone will return the call in a "few" hours? What? I definitely do not like that message. Also, I have a customer ID no. when I got on chat because I could not get an email to assist with my forgotten password, he advises I don't need to log into my account. However, when I tried to place the order the way he suggested there were still complications. But in the end, it all worked out. It also did not help me that my card information changed without my knowledge.

Feelin' real let down by Electric Bargain Store (electricbargainstores.com). I was told to hurry up and place my order, but then they hit me with the ol' backorder play. Not cool, man. Even worse, I made it clear when I placed my order that I needed it by a certain deadline, but EBS just straight up ignored me. Then they come around, talkin' 'bout splitin' up my order into two shipments, but then they say they can do it all in one. What's the deal?!
So anyway, my order doesn't show up on time, and EBS isn't helpin' much to get it sorted out. They didn't even care enough to put a fire under the butts of the carriers who were supposed to deliver my package. Ain't right that my stuff just sat for a couple days before finally arrivin' late. These guys don't seem to care about urgency or customer satisfaction.
Bottom line, be warned. Don't trust what they say, and don't count on 'em to come through for ya.

I checked the packing slip and saw a highlighted note that said (Upgraded to 9120B).
At first, I thought, "Wow! They upgraded my order to a better product." But then, I checked the website and saw that they sell the 9120B for only $7.68, which is less than half of what I paid for. I couldn't believe it! So, I decided to contact their customer service and ask for an explanation.
It took forever for someone to answer my call but when they finally did, they were rude and unhelpful. They said that the 9120B is a better model and that this was a free upgrade for me. I tried to explain that I wanted the specific model I ordered and paid for, but they didn't care. They just repeated the same thing over and over again.
Overall, my experience with Electric Bargain Store was terrible. They sent me a product I didn't order and charged me twice its value. Their customer service was also horrible, rude, and unhelpful. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will never buy from them again.

I been shoppin 'at Electric Bargain Store's website electricbargainstores.com for a bit now, and gotta to say, there's a few things that ain't so great. First, it's harder 'an catchin' a greased pig to get in touch with someone on the phone. You gotta give all your biz info to a lady who answers, and she says somebody will get back to ya. But sometimes that don't happen, or it takes a long time for 'em to get back to ya. Second, even when they do call back, it's usually not same day. Third, my most recent orders been takin' way longer to get here, and they got back orders so I'm stuck waiting for stuff that I need.
But let me tell ya, the biggest issue I got with Electric Bargain Store is when I finally get to talk to somebody, they always saying they'll check on stuff for me and call me back, but then they don't. So I gotta go through the whole phone thing again. That's just not cool and it's frustrating.
Don't get me wrong, they got some good stuff and decent prices, but they could definitely be better about their customer service.
