A few years ago the new L & B Bright Blue was well under £6 for 19. What I don't understand is that the Budget adds 1p, 2p, 5p etc each time, but somehow they are now selling for between £7.56 and £9. How does that work? Why can you not just put the price of the cigarettes on the packet like you used to, so that shops can't rip people off. SPAR is £8.50+. Tesco and ASDA, £7.56, Co-op £7.50 and BP garages sell them for over £9.

Also, I know it's the Government that has made all cigarette packets black, but it's not stopping anyone from smoking. The only people that it's causing problems to are the shop assistants, who have to spend ages trying to find them! The world has gone mad!

The past 4 months I have changed to your brand of cigarettes and I am not happy that on more than 4 occasions I open a pack to either 18 or 19 cigarettes when it clearly says 20 on the pack. They are not cheep so when I ask and buy 20 I expect to get 20 and as you know once opened the shops will do nothing about it. I do not think this is acceptable to a paying costumer and would like this resolved.

Hi my name is neil grundy I bought 600 l and b silver from Manchester airport flying out to sola stavanger Norway as I started smoking them I noticed that they was strange taste and very strong felt like I was smoking fake cigarettes I have 480 left I still have my all my paper work from witch I bought them they have made me very ill I even stayed a friend s cigarette and they tasted as they should

First ever time I had a fault with yourself was today.. Bout a packet of 20 l&b silver original cigarettes from the coop in inveraray argyll and when I opened the packet the [censored]s look ed different.. Though many the changed the colour of the filter.. Light one up and realize it's mental.. Sterling duel to be specific.. I can't smoke menthol [censored]s and now lost money.. Coop won't take them back cause opened and one has been sparked up and 3rd of [censored] smoked. What can you do about this.. Quite annoyed to be honest

I opened the second compartment in my packet to find only 7 cigarettes inside! For the amount it costs a packet, I've felt like I need to raise this issue. I feel totally ripped off and really quite annoyed I can't seem to find anywhere online that allows me to simply email my complaint to lambert and butler. Their website constantly comes up with errors and I can get no further than the front page.

One of the cigarettes in my pack was faulty, the filter had the fault so the cigarette couldn't be smoked. I have had many occasions where this has happened and this time I thought i should bring it to your attention as it's becoming rather annoying and I don't pay money for faulty cigarettes. I purchased 200 lambert and butler from Sainsbury's in Northwich as I do each week on my weekly shop.
I would say 5 out of 10 of the packets were faulty. Most of the cigarettes I could not get a drag out of as there seemed to be large pieces of solid tobacco in them.
They are not cheap nowadays and can not afford to throw money away like this.
I would therefore like some kind of compensation.

Dear who it may concern,
I have just found a metal pin in my cigarette after smoking it all. When was smoking it was trying to flick the ash off and nothing was happening and was really confused when I got to the end of the cigarette and all the ash fell with a metal pin falling out with it.
I would like to speak with someone as soon as possible concerning this

I purchase 20 of these cigarettes per day, I have never had any trouble with them before, I went to my local Sainsburys on Saturday 29/7/17 and purchased 60 to get me through the weekend, out of each of these 3 packets once opened it was discovered that over half of them were so dry that when I took 1 out of the packet half of the tobacco fell out the cigarette, leaving virtually nothing left to light, not only did they burn very quickly, but big lumps kept falling off them, making them to dangerous to smoke anyway. These are my usual brand of cigarettes and at £7.64 a packet I would not expect such poor quality.

This happens all the time causing injury and damage!
Today I was at the bingo and while having a cigarette the end fell off causing my trainer to get damaged and 5 burn blisters on my ankle.
Always burning my hands, damaging clothing and sofa.
This happens quite a lot and one day will cause a serious injury to someone not just sofas, clothing and ankles!
No happy at all!

I recently purchased a packet of cigarettes from my local shop which I do every week only yesterday when I opened them they had some type of beetle/ants in the tip. I've never had this problem before and didn't want it to happen again.
I have thrown the cigarettes away And unsure if I want to continue smoking Lambert and Butler [censored]s after this experience. I hope this doesn't happen again. Thanks

Hello I have brought one of your packet of lambert and butler cigarettes and the cigarette has came apart from the filter it also burnt my hand as the cherry of the cigarette hit my had as a result in the filter coming away from the cigarette I really don't think this is acceptable as this has happened to myself many times and it's not like your cigarettes are cheap I have smoked your cigarettes for many years and I am quite disappointed with the quality

Hello, I purchased 2 X packs of 20 L&B from a convenience store on Charleston Drive, Dundee, Scotland. When opening the 1st pack I noticed there was only half the amount of tobacco in the tube. When I examined the rest of pack, all tubes were half filled and once turned upside down, all the tobacco fell out! Tobacco was so dry it was gathering in bottom of pack. Second pack was exactly the same. I took packs back to said shop and they did not want know. Told me to complain to you...So I bought 2 packs of cigs costing around £10 and had to through them away. I have taken pictures of products which I can send on request. I think a refund would very appropriate in this case.

On Saturday 8th July I purchased 20 of your cigarettes from the BP garage on Bothwell street Dunfermline. I frequently buy cigarettes from here and this is the second time I've purchased fake ones and also the second time I've complained to yourselves. I look forward to a reply on your investigation of this matter failing to do so I shall be in touch with trading standards.

I went to Stroud road garage in gloucester and bought a packet of 19 cigarettes completely unopened and sealed got home and theres only 18 in here, i want a full refund to my address or I'm going to take it to court as I've been ripped of for my money and I'm not happy one bit the shop couldn't do anything and said I'd have to contact you this has caused me mass if inconvience as I had to go out and buy another packet of Lambert and butler cigarettes elsewhere very unhappy with the way I've been treated and ripped off for my money

I recently purchased this packet of cigarettes from a store in Benidorm expendeduria 10 David v . Sellers Alfardo were it said upon purchase you would receive a free personalised lighter we purchased the cigarettes and the till attendant said the lambert and butler wasn't there so to keep a hold of my receipt and call back as upon calling back later your rep wasn't very helpful at all she was very rude and unhelpful so we didn't receive the lighter and will not be recommending this store

I purchased a pack of 20 lambert and butler today from Morrisons in Fishponds Bristol.
upon opening the cigarettes I noticed that four of them were broken/snapped at the bottom and considering how expensive they are I just don't expect to be left with 16 cigarettes rather than the 20 I paid for.
I purchase a pack of 20 and never had a problem but this is just very disappointing.

To whom it may concern, I have been a l&b silver customer for over 20 years and recently last 2 years, I moved to the real blue superkings and last 2 weeks I have been unhappy about the state of your cigarettes which burns too quickly as theres tobacco out of the cigarettes an going through them quicker than normal. Yous seem to be slacking since the change over in government policys.

i bought the above ciggerettes from yourselves 2 days ago. i had noticed some loose tobacco in the pocket of where i keep my ciggies but thought nothing of it- until today.
This morning i took my pack of ciggerettes with me and when i went to smoke one the first 3rd pf thd ciggy disapeared upon being lit. when i loooked inside the box 8 out 9 remaing ciggies had the tobacco fall out in to the box causing the ciggerettes to smoke with in 5 drags due to how loose the tobacco in tht ciggy has now become.
i do not expect poor quality such as this and would like recompense for this.
