I have just re.ceived a copy of my bank statement and there are 2 charges on it for
Google Success Kit in the amounts of

I have not authorized either of these charges and when I call them, all I get is a recorded

I think the on-line chat room is the cheapest & less time consuming way to cancel the membership.
For those who are not in US this is the best way.

Google should come out and do something about it. People falls in the scams because of Google.
Hope my experience help...

I am from Taiwan. I joined and got charged at east twice of " $29.95 + $4.95 + $1.00 + $9.95"
It is not $1.00 only...My God!

I canceled the membership through on-line chat room provided
http://www.quickcashsupport.com/

The only thing now is I can't get those charges refund cince those toll-free phone nos are not free for me.
Considering the possible internation phone fees against those charges, I might have to let them go...

I signed up for this kit as well thinking that $1.00 for a trial to make more money sounded good. What a bad idea. I have since been charged $73.00 NZ dollars for somehing I have never received. I cancelled my bank account and got a new one but they somehow got access to that money as well so have now taken fees out for Identity Security (whatever that is). I live iN New Zealand so have to set my alarm for crazy hours of the morning to ring America to try and cancel as you can't do it by email. The lady I spoke to couldnt find any record of me in the system so now I wonder who is taking my money when it clearly says "Google Success Kit 22" on my statements...

These two numbers for cancellation are Identity security [protected]) & fraud protection [protected]). Tell them there was no authorisation for this to your credit card and they will cancel. Don't expect a refund, won't happen! I've just called and cancelled. Good Luck.

If only we could warn EVERYONE about this. I ended up with $195.80 of several different charges on my credit card in the past month without authorizing any of them except one for $3.88. Total scam artists. I called [protected] to ask where my "Google Kit" was and she couldn't answer me. I told her to start looking for another job because her pay was coming from fraudulent activity. Associated names - Google Success Kit, Internet Initiative, GooglePro... all ripoffs. Charges came up with these names along with, "fraud protection" charges, Identity Security charges... ###. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card - Visa, cancel my card and I'm trying to contact Google to inform them that there are companies using there name fraudulently. Not having luck contacting them though. I'll send an e-mail later once the steam blows off.
Any further info or comments as to how these people can be reported, would be greatly appreciated. Good luck to you all... DD

Just letting everyone here know that if u do read the fine print when u order there are 3 things u have to cancel...2 identity theft
'"trials" #'s r as follows [protected] and the other is
[protected] these r trials that u also signed up for, unless u read the fine print u are not aware of them...PLEASE call and cancel them also...they charge more for both each month
Just a quick FYI

If a company offers you a free trial, it is not free if they need your credit card number. The $1 dollar sounds good, but it is really just a way of buying your credit card number. Once you give it to them, they will commence billing you. Usually you can't reach them by phone or email to cancel. However, cancelling with them is what you must do. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ANYONE, UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH. If you have exhausted your efforts to contact and cancel with the so called merchant, then contact your cc company. Write down dates when calls were made and who you spoke to. Also keep copies of any emails, either from you to them or vice versa.
Remember, there is no such thing as a free trial of anything. They (whatever company or merchant) will always ask for your cc number. Usually they say it is just to bill the shipping and handling, or whatever. Another precaution, always read all of the disclosure provided very carefully. You may have to read between the lines to see that they are actually saying they are going to bill you or sign you up. For example one vitamin pill provider for weight loss, says "if you get the free trial of A, we are also going to give you a free trial of B and C as well." What that means is that "we are also going to be billing you for two other products as well." You end up having 3 monthly charges on your cc, and B and C show up as separate merchants, with separate phone numbers. You cannot cancel B and C, by getting in touch with A. You have to call each one individually, and often they are impossible to reach. Any time you are not able to make contact with a merchant you gave your cc number to, especially if it is a "free trial" from the internet or TV, contact your cc company. They can usually advise or assist you.

Lesson Learned! There is no way to Make Easy Money. Unless you can scam people out of their CC number and make false billings.
I called the number provided by Erica (Thanks because that was not the same number I had on my CC statement which, btw, only gave a recording and then hung up on me!) talked to Jamaica, the person not the place. Insisted that they remove "ALL" charges from my CC and not be billed any further otherwise I would have to be forced to do a "Charge-back" to their company which is "Very Expensive" for them. He went to his supervisor and after a minute or two was assured that it would be refunded in full. We'll see after a week if they have indeed done this. If not, the RCMP and whoever we have to contact in the USA will be advised of this fraud. Facebook will also be advised of this fraudulent advertising or at least of the abuse this company is dishing out to the unsuspecting public.
Moral of the story. No easy money and be firm when you ask for a refund. Be civil but be firm. Swearing will get you nowhere fast. I know this because I have been on the other end of a customer support line and abusive language doesn't help the situation.

Note re chargeback:

Best of luck to us all in this fiasco.

I just checked my card, and found they did the same thing on the 21st. Thought this might be different but this is not the first time I've had to deal with something like this. The previous time was for information on applying for grants. I had to call three times because they did not get the message the first call. The first one, according to them, was just a complaint of the charges, the second was to stop further charges and the third was to demand the refund. Make sure you get these on one call. They want to play games and think you are not watching your account.

This apparent rip-off company charged $29.95 to my account on January 22, 2009 without my authorization. I agreed to pay $1.00 for a look at this product and was informed that I would receive it by January 18th. This suspiciously looks to be now, a scam and I am not a happy camper.

Today, January 23, 2009, I called [protected] and spoke with “Marie” for a refund of to my account. Initially Marie insisted that she could only cancel future billings because this was ordered on January 11, 2009. I was told that this company is not mailing anymore, but instead using the format of email. However, I persisted in pointing out that since I was informed that the product was to arrive by 1/22/09, I am within the 7-day grace period of having the option to cancel. “Marie” acquiesced and assured me that this-and any further billings- are now canceled. The refund of $29.95 will take 5-7 business days for to post back to my account.

I certainly hope this will happen. If not, I will be writing here again!

Google unauthorized debit

Was sent a prospecting e-mail with a prominent logo at the bottom, Quadrant Media
with a Canadian address. This company sent a number of other spamming type offers
mu mistake was to have given a positive reply to something called the Google Success Kit.
I gave the Google Success Kit permission to withdraw $1 from my credit card & I was debited twice.
Now I see an unauthorized debit for $11.95 charged to my card.
I decided to opt out of the system which had a bundle of other companies to sell...Down at the
bottom was the place near the Quadrant Media logo where I could opt-out. I did so, but
noticed the e-mails from Quadrant Media kept coming, including another from the the Google success kit.
I did a search entering 'Quadrant Media' and it came up they are a known spamming outfit.
Since there are other identical complaints registered here - looks like we've been scammed (again ).
Time to block my credit card...

I received a "work at home" ad by email for the Google Success Kit for $1.00, but I never received it. I noticed on my bank account that there is an unauthorized charge of $11.95. I do not have an address to contact them directly but the charge needs to be refunded to my account immediately. This was unauthorized! plus I do not want my credit card number floating around in their hands. I have contacted my bank and requested a refund and that no more charges from them be authorized. This is a total scam & needs to be stopped immediately!

Hi, I found this thread by doing a google search somewhat in desperation after receiving a very large number of spams from this Quadrant Media or Oakville Ontario Canada.
I can't get over this, here it is 2009 and we're STILL dealing with this stupid problem?
Apparently they keep doing it because they're making money.
Who in their right mind would sign up for something sent to them via spam?
You are causing the entire problem.
And I agree, these people deserve nothing but scorn and I'm going to do everything in my power to cause their company to have less business. I'd like to do more but they put you in prison for that.

I have found the President of Quadrant Media. His name is Ryan Geddes. He is in Burlington/Oakville Ontario, Canada I had tried fowarding my spam to him at ryan@quadrantmedia.com and customerservice@quadrantmedia.com. It did stop for a few days. But IT'S
BAAACCCKKKK! Maybe if we all do it he'll get the picture that his unsubscribe links should work. I also found out he has a Twitter account twitter.com/QuadrantMedia. And he makes fun of the fact that he got his first spam complaint on twitter " I guess the unsubscibe form isn't enough for some people" he says, well make it work DUMB A** and maybe we would think so. I don't have a twitter account but for those of you who do or want to maybe you could flood the man the way he does us with his unsolicited, trapped in spam hell e-mails. By the way there is another Ryan Geddes he works for Xbox so make sur you have the right one we don't want to bother innocent

Google unauthorized $11.95 charge

I authorized the Google Success Kit for $1.00 . Since I hadnt had time to even check out the system during the trial . Not to mention never got the kit. Seems like they purposely mail anything way after the trial period and you get conned into paying out more money . Anyway I cancelled 2 days before the trial period ended and I still got charged. Gotta be so careful with what you agree to on the internet I have learn to take the time and read ALL the fine print!. Now i gotta call and get them to take this charge I did not agree to :(

i have had much the same kind of experiences with the so called "Googlesucesskit" I registered once for a pound and since then have had my bank account debited for numerous unautherised transactions. Please help as to how to get my money back. I have contacted my banks fraud department and am awaiting the outcome. I too feel that the website should be removed as it is very misleading and the debits to peoples accounts are fraudulant. Can anyone at google possibly do anything to help?

I, too, fell for the scam. Thinking the name Google meant reputable, I figured I couldn't scammed. Not only did I NOT receive the kit and also get the $11.95 charge for the last 2 months but I get charged an additional $4.95/month for Fraud Protection! Now isn't that a Joke. I've tried the toll free # but get all operators are busy. I appreciate the suggestion of blocking my bank/visa card and having my bank issue a new one. I definitely will not be for any more of these gimmicks.

I was able to reach one of their toll free numbers from Europe -google success kit was [protected] ( so I had to pay for this call) and had them cancel my credit card. Then I called a person I know at my bank and gave her a detailed history of the transactions. She asked me to forward her the original prospecting emils sent to me by google cash & the other one, government funds, etc. She asked me if I had in fact ask them to stop all further debits...I said I had & I warned her about the possibility of future attempts at debiting my account. So your bank respects your efforts to put a stop to scams. If you have no luck getting through to their operators, I do believe it 'saves time and trouble' to block your credit card & get the bank to issue a new one. Anyhow, my bank did that for me last summer when I was the victim of another internet rip-off.

The thing I'm responding to also debited $1.00 for Google Cash & $1.00 for Government Funded Grants. Then came an unauthorized - or so I rthought - debit
for $11.95. If you scroll down on their original promotional email, at the very bottom you'll see a bunch of active links, which includes 'Terms and Conditions'. Once you go there, you'll see a bunch of explanations listing when and for what they'll be debiting your credit card! If the '866' phone numbers there don't work, you've got to get your credit card blocked. The bank won't refund your money for these debits, but since you can direct them to this site & show them that others have been scammed, they should issue you a new card. What more can I say - I too am getting desperate to make more $ now. By the way, these sob's even put
in a disclaimer - right near the links at the bottom of the prospectus, near the terms and conditions - saying that they are not associated with GOOGLE ! What they did do is to conceal what you'd wind up being charged for, and are charged for quite some time unless you cancel their so-called services.7e8

I know I sound DUMB and I feel the same way. Earn Cash Fast With Google is a total ripoff. They say they will only bill you $1.00. But if you watch your credit card account its $5.00, $12.00, $10.00 & they just keep on charging.
The numbers they give you to cancel are never manned, or they direct you
to a website that has no opportunity for you to cancel. It is just a ripoff. You never receive the package that they are supposed to mail to you. With the economy in the shape it is in, people that scam you like this should be taken out and horse whipped.

I gave the above mentioned company my credit card details with the knowledge that they were going to deduct $1.00 only on the 30/1/2009 (Order ID:[protected]). I was amazed to find that on the 10/2/2009 the above mentioned company accessed my credit account a second time and stole $45.92 without my authorization or knowlegde. I was supposed to receive a program called Earn Cash Fast With Google - cost: $1.00 a 7 day free trial. I never received anything and later when I received my credit card bill, there was a charge of the $1.00 and also a charge of $29.95 with the same identification as shown for the $1.00 charge. I have been ripped off and am requesting these charges be removed from my credit card. I have tried to phone these people and get a recording to go on line. That website could not be found.
I want those charges removed and would appreciate someone helping with this complaint.

Authorized $1 for a kit, only received a few on line articles and have been fighting various charges on my bank account for three months! Even when you cancel and get a cancellation code, they continue to charge for the bogus services. The most ironic one is "identity theft" when they are truly the thieves. Don't fall for this scam. I have had bank fees for overdraft because of unauthorized charges and have to check my bank account constantly. I wish someone would start a class action suit against them - I'd be in!

Google criminal / fraud

I was charged for both the CD and shipping via a credit card - however, I never heard of the company in my life. Two seperate charges were fraudulantly charged to my credit card.

1) credit card reciept says company location is NV, they claim they "recently moved" and the location is now NY.
2) they claim to be "affiliated" with Google. I challenged them several times, and they kept on insisting that they're "affiliated" with Google.
3) they refused to provide any information as to how the supposed "order in question" was made...whether it was made via mail, telephone, or online. I was told, "We don't have to provide that information."
4) they were downright beligerent as to how they obtained my card number. I was told that they obtain numbers "through all different sorts of means", to which I responded, "There is only ONE way of obtaining the number that is legal. If I didn't give you the number, a crime has been commited." To which they replied, "Who knows?"

I continually receive Im's about the acaiburn have not been fooled only annoyed so I contacted Yahoo and the Im's continue, are they too connected, they also want to be of no help putting a stop the fraud almost promoting it! Twice I have contacted them, and was basically sent a form letter telling me to just let them annoy us. Here was their response to help stopping fraud...Ah SPAM, or in this case SPIM (SPAM+Instant Message), the junk mail of
the Internet. We are aware that this occasionaly occurs through Yahoo!

best bet is to just close the window and forget about it.

Google unwanted charge

I too was charged $1.00 for a Google Success Kit which I have yet to receive. Then I was charged $11.95 and have attempted to contact Google and was given the same information to contact "Quickcasssupport.com" in order to place a complaint. I was unable to reach anyone to lodge this complaint and would also like my $11.95 plus the $1.00 return to my checking account without haveing to put a stop pay or closing my account. I also received a deduction of $4.95 for "Fraud Protection" but was able to have a live chat and was told that the money would be returned to me with in a few days. I am also going to contact "Identy Theft Protection to make sure that they do not take any money out of my account.

I was charged twice for $11.95 to my credit card that I did not want. I was supposed to be charged $1 for a kit (which I don't think worth a dollar) I've called and complaint. I have purchased google success kit for $1 but didn't know I will be charged $11.95 every month unless I cancel.
They also enrolled me to fraud protection service and identity security service that automatically take $9.95 & $4.95 from my checking account.

I've called to cancel and request refund, but they wouldn't refund.

signed up for this, lucky enough to know early on this was a scam before too much taken from account - if from UNITED KINGDOM - these are the numbers for you to ring, didnt try to claim any back but did get them cancelled and got confirmation numbers --
fraud protection -[protected],
google success kit -- [protected],
identity fraud - [protected],
all 3 numbers need to be rang to cancel, you will be charged at international rate and they will act confused, would be better to ring late evening due to time difference. if you tell them you are from England they seem to respond quicker with your information.

Cancel your Credit card under the reason of fraud and get a new card then the payments will stop!
and tell the security department of your credit union that you did not autherise these payments and that you want your money back and in 98% of the cases you get reemburst!

Give it a try you cant lose much more then you did already! And with the canceling of your card they can not get to your money since if the do go after you, you claimed fraud and then they stop ask your credit union for the money not worth it for them!

Hope this helps you all out there!

I am in the same ### as you all are! but this way i got out once already just didnt learn from the first time hope next time I know better!

I was told by the young lady that the kits or CD's were on back order and they had sent everyone an e-mail concerning this. What they should have done was return everyone's money since they didn't have the product. I'm going to file a formal complaint with the BBB on this and try and get my money back. If you need to cancel your account with fraud protection the number is [protected]. Good luck everyone and I will be posting my results from the BBB and my lawyer concerning this.

I just cancelled my membership after reading all the the complaints on here. I was talking to al lady and was informed that when we click on the terms and conditions we were agreeing to the extra charges for identity theft and fraud protection. She also told me that when we login to their site not to push the "remember me" button because the next time we try to loggin we will be sent to a blank page. It is apparantly a "glitch" in their system. So now I feel better about cancelling and after reading the information, I am going to try to get my site up and running on my own and then maybe I will opt for this program again. We have to take the time to read all terms and conditions so that we can protect ourselves from these extra charges that we "agree" to. I hope I was helpful to anyone who reads this. The number that I phoned to cancell is [protected]. Marina.

I rented a movie 7/11. The movie took place in Italy (an American movie), but there were no subtitles for the Italian, only says“speaking in Italian”). I requested a refund—Google said it’s not a product eligible for refund—even though they clearly let me select it from my purchases and submit a refund request.

Google illegal withdraw 49.95 from my bank account

I viewed this E-mail regarding work at home. For 1.95 they would send a CD for viewing on how you can make these big
bucks working from home. I know that was not true, however, with the name of Google I wanted to look into what they
had to offer. By the time you go to page 2 this company already was in the process of taking 49.00 from my bank account.
I never authorized for them to take 49.94 only the 1.95 for the shipping of the CD. They had somehow blocked all the
phone access and you could not also get an E-mail to them. This company, after research, at least 4-5 scams. One day I finally was able to take to someone at Epromo. He advised me that Google Revenue Streams was not at this number and gave me another number to call and also I would probably never get my money back. I sent them a fax letting them know if I did not get my money back I would take this further. Well here I am and I do not plan to stop. 49.95 may not mean
much to people that take from others. However, if you are on Social Security 49.94 is millions.

Google cancelation ignored

After subscribing to this service and waiting 17 days for the CD I decided that it was not
the money making internet system I was looking for and attempted on numerous occasions to cancel my subscription. Every Email I sent was returned with some kind of error message. They have debited my credit card twice to date.
These people are criminals and I cant believe that this is the same people who run the
well known and respected Google search machine.

I canceled several months ago. And I'm still being charged for the program. After I was told on the phone they would no longer be a charge. If anything I should be refunded all the money you removed from my checking account. Just for you informaton I never recived the program CD's that I was promised. So how can I work for Google if I don't get the tools to work with.

I was given a User name & a Password and I then downloaded as directed. The download was useless rubbish
but it did show an earth in full colours and part of a control panel.
I have made multiple attempts to contact this company
and even offered to accept a CD/DVD version via additional
payment but have rcvd no response whatsoever. Their Website does not help and their phone number unreachable.

My name is Harry Dorsch
Yesterday I ordered I believe it was called earth view. I already have google earth it was supposed to be 6.99 per year for three years. I was also supposed to get a program that would allow me to see all my contacts for free. All I got was a bunch of eye contact ads. And a virus that took me 8 hrs to get rid of.
What I got was a program that I bought on 10/14 2009 user name BCD72k password SX88ZAwhich I deleted because it wasen't worth a darn. Now I am being charged 50.38 USD for the same program and two extras that were supposed to be free that I can't find. Except for the contacts ad and the virus. If you can cancel the order I would appreciate it. If not when it is taken out of my account I already called my credit union and will dispute it.
Thank you for your consideration,
Harry Dorsch

Google fraud

I was experiencing some fraudulent charges on my credit card, which were all online, while I was looking into it I discovered that some charges on my bank statement were for Google Money Profit. After further investigation I found out that they had debited my account $2.99 for a trial membership and 10 days later they debited $39.95. I did not order a trial membership or anything else. I did not fill out any forms at all, I did not give them any information at all especially any personal information. I absolutely did not give them any of my credit card info. How in the world did they get this information. And by the way there's no one living in my house that could have done this.
I did call them and explained the obvious. I could tell the lady I spoke with did not believe me but she said I would be receiving the CD at my address to just refuse it or return it . She also said that the charges on my account would be taken off. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. If this is really Google doing this they need to be stopped, they make millions of dollars a year off of all of us that use them as our homepage. And if this is someone they let use their name they need to do some research on who they do business with. I just don't understand how this happened without any imput from myself. There were two telephone numbers on my bank account [protected] and [protected].
P.S. The only thing I can remember about this Google thing is that one night I started to shut my computer down and there was a pop-up that had Google Money Profit on it and I clicked out of it and continued to shut down my computer. Upset and Dissapointed.

I had the same thing happen. I found 3 charges on my credit card from GoogleMoneyProfit. $2.29 for the trial. $39.95 for a cd. And, 7.95 for something else. I have never used any kind of "work from home" service before. I rarely use the credit card in question either. In fact the reason I caught the charges was because I knew the only charge on it should have been a gas station purchase. I reported it as fraud to my credit card company a week ago. Today we did a 3-way call with Google Money Profit to remove the charges. They said the cd they'd mailed me was already returned so it would be no problem to remove the charges. The odd thing is: I NEVER GOT A CD TO RETURN. They told me (plus my credit card company rep) that I must've forgotten that I made the online purchase AND forgot that I returned the cd in the mail. Yeah, right. It sounds like a scam.

I just found out that this company has billed me 6 times for things I never ordered or received totaling $98.09! I am an eCommerce professional and certainly know when I have filled out an online order form. I am going to get to the bottom of this and discover what affiliations Raven Media/Google Money Profit has with other online vendors. Other than pure credit card information theft, the only other scenario would be that I UNKNOWINGLY was enrolled in this program through another online purchase. If this is the case, I will publish what eCommerce vendors have these affiliations and report them to the proper agencies.

We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the service and see the value of it for themselves before they are billed for it. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply. We would not have charged you had you called customer service and canceled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer. Google stolen email account

My email account was stolen and I cannot find any place to report it. I have tried to locate a hotmail complaint or contact address and I have not been able to find one. I have called the FBI and was told to contact my local police dept. and the police dept. told me they did not have the facilities to handle Internet problems.

They told me to contact the nearest KBI Office and I did. Their Investigator was out of the office until next week.

They told me to call the Attorney General's Office. He was out too.

My family and friends are getting emails saying that "I" am stranded in London and for them to send money, $2, 200 by Western Union so I can come home. I have no way of contacting some of them as my only contact was by email and all their addresses went with the stolen account.

I cannot even find a place that I can alert other victims to the Scam that got me.

After much searching over days, I finally found this site and even it may not do me any good, maybe it might help someone else.

The Scam that got me was purported to be from "Hotmail". It said something to the fact that they were up-dating the program and in order to keep from deleting my account, they needed my email data so they could make sure that my account would not be deleted with the other "defunct" accounts.

I gave them the information and the next day when I tried to access my email no matter what I did, I could not get into my email.

Then my cousin called me to find out what was going on and told me she had received an email and its contents.

I, imediately contacted the few people whose email address I knew - to alert them.

There needs to be a place that people can contact to be able to report email scams. Most of the suggestions from Hotmail's information told me to log into my account and go to the help tab, but if your email account is gone, how can you do that? As well as to report the scam and show the proof that disappeared with your email account.

The treatment I've got and am still getting from the so-called Hotmail Customer Support is actually making me suicidal!
A simple temporarily forgotten password has resulted in me being locked out of my very important primary account for 2 weeks, and counting!
Because my account has been blocked due to too many incorrect passwords being entered, last week, I cannot now login with my now remembered password.
I have pleaded with them at least a million times to unblock my account so that I may login with my password but they have stubbornly and consistently refused to act!
By choosing Hotmail in the first place, I am ultimately responsible for the whole Kafkaesque nightmare I now find myself in.
For two weeks now I've been telling them how vitally important it is that I finally regain access to what is my personal property but I may as well talk to brick walls for all the assistance I've got, to date.
I firmly believe now that there is some kind of criminal conspiracy afoot and that there are actual criminals involved with Hotmail Support.
Their incompetence I've encountered too is truly staggering!
And I'm no closer to a resolution now than I was a fortnight ago!
I would sternly advise anyone setting up an email account for the first time to absolutely avoid Hotmail like the plague it is!
I can guarantee them that they will curse the day they chose Hotmail.
I've been cursing my choice of email provider for a very long fortnight!
Thank you

I stopped using my hotmail address about a year ago, but kept it opened and checked it every now and then to make sure that if someone was trying to reach me, I could give them my new address. About a month ago, everyone on my mailing list received an e-mail from "me" inviting them to purchase electronics etc. I contacted everyone who got the e-mail, but they said they all knew it wasn't from me because the grammar was so poor (!). So I tried to complain to MSN and I received an e-mail from them basically stating that they had no responsibility (the e-mail was also full of poor grammar, by the way). I canceled my account, but now a 2nd and 3rd round of e-mails from that hotmail address is showing up.
I sent a "test" e-mail to that supposedly defunct address and received a "vacation" reply. I have no idea what else to do -- when I tried to submit a complaint to the feds internet crimes division, it crashed my computer, so I'm not going to try that again.
I am very frustrated.

I also tried to cancel per the message on the phone number provided to my bank but the email for support@googlerevenuestreams.com was returned as undeliverable. They also charged me $49. 95 for ? Google Google Ad-Words

I am being hijacked by Google.

I am at my wits end over this! Last year I worked for a company and was asked by my boss to create a Google Ad-words campaign and use Google Adsense on the site as well. I created the accounts on Google and he used his Credit Card to start the Google Ad-Words campaign. I left the company last October to start my own business.

While creating my website for my business I decided we would use Google Adsense on our website. So I tried to create a separate account from the one I made the previous year since I had nothing to do with that company anymore. I received the following email:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our program criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program.

We have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as for our advertisers. We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline any application. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our program to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.

Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the specific reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

As you can see this email does not explain why I am being denied my application. I tried once again to create an account and submit my site for review. Again, I received the same letter. I responded to them and asked Why do you keep turning me down?.

Several days later someone replied to me stating You already have an Ad-Sense account with us. So, I did what most of us would do. I logged into my previous account and edited the old information to reflect the new information. I updated my Address, Company Name and while I was at it I did the same for the Ad-words campain. I even changed the Credit Card information on File for obvious reasons that I didn’t want my old boss to be charged for my new business and get into trouble for using his Credit Card!

I reviewed the total amount due on the account and it showed 0.76. I was not uncomfortable paying that amount because it was not worth the hassle trying to collect it. It took me another 6 months to complete my website during which time I was having no problems running the Google Adsense on my website with the new settings.

The nature of my business is seasonal so roughly around September 20th I started to attempt to run Google Ad-words to generate traffic on my website. It showed my account as Active for days but I was getting no traffic. All Google Generated reports showed 0 impressions and 0 clicks. I sent a support email asking why? I received the following email in response:

Thank you for your email and I apologize for the delayed response. I understand that you are concerned about the visibility of your ad. Weve received notice from your credit card company that youve protested a charge for $430.25 on 12/24/07.

We believe that you have received the service we promised and that, by agreeing to participate in the AdWords program, you authorized this charge. If you have a reason for protesting this charge, please let us know. Otherwise, we intend to pursue this charge with your credit card company.

Until we resolve this, we have suspended your account so that you do not accrue additional charges.
Please reply to this email and let us know why you disputed the charge(s) with your credit card company. Our team is willing to address any questions you may have about the AdWords service.
We appreciate you choosing to advertise with the AdWords program. We look forward to resolving this billing issue and resuming your campaigns.

Evidently my previous Boss did a charge back that I was unaware of and they would not let me start my own campaign. So, I thought I would explain my situation to them. So, I found a telephone number on the internet and called them. (888-2Google). The girl I spoke with on the phone was very nice and I explained my situation to her. She told me she would have someone respond to me soon via email. This is the letter I received.

Thank you for contacting Google AdWords yesterday. Per our discussion regarding why you are unable to see your ads, I have heard a response from our specialist team.

Weve received notice from your credit card company that youve protested a charge for $430.25 on 12/24/07.

So I replied to them with the following email:

I already addressed this once before.
I used to work for XXXX.com my boss asked me to create a Google ad campaign so I did. I am no longer with that company as of October 2007. Google refuses to allow me to create a separate account. I have tried several times to start a NEW google add account only to be denied.

I dont know how else to say it, XXXX is not nor never was my company if you do research on corporations in the state of Georgia for XXXX you will see I do not own the company, If you look at previous records for billing for previous ad words you will see the charge account is not in my name.
Please dont punish me for something that I have nothing to do with! Allow me to start my own relationship with you.

I have looked up the corporate information for XXXX to prove that I do not own that company. I have also included the corporate information for my company XYZ.com

(Due to length and Privacy I deleted the attached Corporate Documents that showed the owners of the previous company and my Corporate Documents that shows I own the new company. The information I sent to them could have been easily verified on the Georgia Secretary of State Corporations website.)

This is the email I received in response:

Thank you for your email. Our AdWords Specialists have performed a thorough investigation of your account ID: [protected], and have determined that you (or your business) maintained related AdWords accounts with payment issues. For privacy reasons, we are unable to disclose any information regarding those accounts.

Due to the payment difficulties with those prior accounts, we are unable to accept your advertising at this time. Also, please note that the URL that is being advertised in the previous account with the chargeback’s is the same one as your new account. You will not be allowed to run until it is resolved.

Thank you for your cooperation.
If you have additional questions, please visit our Help Center at https://adwords.google.com/support to find answers to many frequently asked questions. Or, try our Learning Center at http://www.google.com/adwords/learningcenter/ for self-paced lessons that cover the scope of AdWords.

Aswathy Maharaj

To which I replied:

Please note that the URL that is being advertised in the previous account with the chargeback’s is the same one as your new account.

The URL I am using is XYZ.com - The URL that WAS being used was XXX.com - I edited the URL when you guys forced me to use the same account.

Again, do the actual research and you will see the urls are NOT the same. Did you even look at the billing records for the account? Did you look at the company names I supplied?
Google is treating me VERY unfairly over this issue. Your slow response time has cost me time and money.
Obviously I have become very frustrated at this point.

I am being punished by Google for someone else’s actions. All I really wanted to do was start my own account and build my own reputation with Google. They are refusing to allow me the ability to do so.

Can anyone out there Help? I wouldn’t care so much if Google wasnt the leading advertising option on the internet at this time. I have tried Yahoo’s Ad-Words program with very little success.

Be really careful
with Adword's
Flexible Bidding Strategy as the CPC will go out of hand. Google will claim bids
are human but from the results it appears that bids are set by algorithms and by
computers which set the bids very high. Never listen to adword
specialists as they will only try to increase the costs and spending while sales
will not necessarily increase.

Google is slime. I was incorrectly billed and provided them with screen-captures and historical billing records to prove that their software made an error. But they responded that it was a caching problem with my browser and the evidence I presented couldn't possibly be correct. 3 years of advertising with monthly billing never over $500 and they say I'm hallucinating when for a single month, the billing jumps to $2, 500 for no particular reason. I should shut up, pay the bill and get my eyes checked and my browser updated. They have a monopoly on web advertising and they are as bad as any robber baron of the late 1800's or early 1900's.

One of the biggest tricks Google has up it sleeve is notice that an Adwords term isn't on the first page and to do so, you would have to increase your bid to $1.75 when its been at $1.50 for the past month two months. I would make a change but instead of the $1.75 I would make it $1.76, the everlasting one penny. Sure enough and sometimes the same day, they post the warning again but now you would have to be at $2.00 to be on the first page. Do they really think we're that dumb, I guess so. In my mind they're heading to a federal law case for fraud. If they're really smart they'd get ahead & give out tons of credit.
