Dunkin' Donuts rudeness, towards customer

September 26, 2017 I enter the store. I requested to use the bathroom before before submitting my order. Before I had a chance to finished my sentence the assistant manager yells out that it was for customers only. I didn't have an issue with the policy, but it's delivery.

I was so appalled, that I initially walked out. Once I returned back to the store, I told him that he was crude and rude about the delivery of the store policy. He became defensive and in a threatening manner told me that I should either buy something, get out, or he will call the police. I told him to go ahead and call them, as I felt I did nothing wrong. Once the police arrived, I told them that my issue was simply that the shift manager was rude in the delivery of the policy. The heard my side, and his side, and establish that there really wasn't a threatening situation, and left informing me that regardless on how I felt, the policy was that I can only use such facilities after buying something, otherwise, I would just have to leave. I decided to go ahead and purchase my original order, but due to the manager's continued bad character, I end up canceling the order. So of course, the shift manager issues the threat of calling the police again, as if they don't have anything better to do. So, I choose to leave.

Keeping the refund receipt, I decide to call them to find out how I can issue a complaint against such individual. Because the phone number is from the store, once they notice who I was, they decide to disconnect it and not deal with me. I call several times, at different times, and they kept hanging up. Eventually, I speak to a threatening individual claiming to be the police. This individual stops me from speaking and issues a threat to stop calling, as it is harassment, perhaps because I am issuing threats. He indicates that if I call one more time, he would trace me and come to arrest me. I told him, that I never issue threat, that all I wanted was instructions to issue a complaint, and that was all. He gives me a 1-800 number, and I told him that it was all I wanted, and that I will not call again. He proceeded to tell me that I am making too big of a deal about such a little thing.

And yes, perhaps I have. However, sometimes you have to take a stand and set an example. A little courtesy would had evaded the entire issue. Usually things like this start because of small ridiculous thing that could had being avoided.

If I wanted to complain about service, for any reason, I should had just being provided with such information. The Police had better things to do than attend to a business who could avoid such calls by just providing a little courtesy to customers and potential customers.

While others will take their business somewhere else, I chose to state it here.

Thank you for your time.

This place at times is very slow because they mostly pay attention too the drive through more than the front counter especially in the summer when they get hammered from both sides they try they're best too keep everything tip top I understand. The complaint I have too this specific place is for many reasons I noticed as a customer
When me my family came in we asked for a dozen donuts and 50 munchkins as well as 7 hot chocalates for everyone, and they messed up the order by giving us not our amount of munchkins as well as not even the right kinds that we wanted that we asked for
The dozen donuts came out too be fine but when it got too the hot chocalates they gave us 9 as we didnt see and also charged us for them
The working conditions of this place are a 2 out 5 because the manager was nowhere too be seen ta fix this problem
With all honesty if we as the people trust a person as a manager we trust in them too keep everyone in check and too make sure that all orders are done correctly and with all honesty they should think about new managment because none of that was done
And if they are reading this review/ complaint right now I just have too say too them specifically too seriously think about new management and promote someone too manager who looks like they can better well handle the job thats givin too them
Thank you for reading this, no hard feelings im just speaking my mind

For the third time in less than 2 weeks this dunkin donuts location locks store door to customers and keeps only drive-thru open. Never ever do they have appropriate amount of employees to keep customer flow going smoothly in this location. Very inconvenient to find store closed on way to work and then be directed to drive-thru with 15-20 cars ahead of you! First time I gave them benefit of doubt and came back only to find same thing happening 2 more times in a week.
I have been a customer of dunkin donuts daily for many, many years and spend about $70 per week in these stores only to be inconvenienced time and time again. I guess it's time to choose another dunkin donut store to give my business too!

On 9/30/2017 in newark liberty international airport at dunkin donuts at terminal a @ 0400. I purchased a large french vanilla coffee. the coffee tasted very bad. I brought the coffee back and spoke with employee jayshri patel (shift leader). dunkin donuts employee patel was very rude and she refused to exchange my full cup of coffee. she claims that I have to change my coffee immediately. dunkin donuts in newark airport does not have any signs displayed that indicate this. I am very upset and I have never been treated so badly. can someone please contact me with details on how I can make a complaint.

I tried ordering a number 6 (Turkey sausage flat bread sandwich with coffee) with hash browns, but instead, the cashier charged me for the items separately, only after I pointed out that I wanted the combo deal with coffee (I got two receipts — one for the sandwich and hash browns, one for the coffee b/c I guess he forgot).

After looking at the receipts and noticing I was being charged more than I would if it were a combo, I brought this up to the cashier. He started arguing with me saying that I never asked for the coffee, even though I clearly said to him that i'd like a "number 6", which is a combo meal with a coffee! Just because I wanted the hash browns doesn't change that fact.in fact, adding the hash browns should have been cheaper too, since it would be added to a combo deal. But instead this cashier tried charging for these items separately, which I now suspect he's done to customers before.

After arguing back and forth, he started ignoring me and making me wait by serving other customers. He even asked me to move aside, which I refused. I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager, then proceeded to ignore me even longer by helping other customers. I said, "that's four people that you decided to help now, instead of me." and he snapped at me saying, "I need to help people in line."

Finally, he took my receipts and gave me a refund. However, when he was doing that, I said, "I don't want a refund, I just want to be charged the correct amount for the combo deal that I ordered." then he looked at me and said he was going to refund my order and not serve me. He actually refused service to me! I took the money and said I would report him and then stormed out.

He made me feel bad about myself for feeling like a hassle, then seriously looked me in the eye and said he wouldn't serve me after refunding my money, all for disagreeing with him. I've never in my life been treated this way, and this was a manager. That's f*ed up! After thinking about the whole transaction, I am positive that I was mistreated and am going to report this to dd's corporate office. No one deserves to be treated this way for simply mixing an order up. He was clearly pissed for me challenging the receipts after the order was put through.

I recently went to this dunkin donuts and ordered my food, pleasant as usual. I was told rudely that they were out of "it". I asked for something different and was told the same but extremely rude this time. I said I didn't realize that both were out and apologized. all of a sudden she was ok... but the next thing I know I get the exact opposite of what I had asked for when I ordered...she knew what I had ordered as we had gone over it a couple times...but decided that she would show me and give me the wrong item. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never go to dunkin donuts again. I know these kids don't care, but do they have to be so rude as well?

I'm really not sure why I go there, but today was my last straw in deciding I would never go again. For ages, I've been going for donuts, and have only had fresh ones about 1/4 of the time. Majority of the time, they are stale or are out of what I want. Second, I've been going for the delicious bagels, my mouth watering along the way, only to find out 3 times in one month that they are out of the bagel I want and do not replenish them. Waste of my time. Third, they have NEVER put enough cream cheese on the bagels for me. I get to the office, open my bagel and see just enough to cover half of it. So I started asking for extra cream cheese. Which was never a problem (on the days they actually had my bagel "in stock"). But today, for some odd reason, one particular lady thought "extra" meant "double" and wanted to charge me for two cream cheeses. I'm not spending $5 for a bagel and bad customer service. I left. Lastly, the ambiance is horrible. The color scheme is enough to drive one crazy. It's trashy and I feel like it's designed to eat and dash compared to it's counterpart, Panera's who has the best customer care, knows the regulars, relaxing & inviting atmosphere, and pre measures the cream cheese to fit their bagel sizes rather than having different individuals arbitrarily decide, and finally they allow you to pour and mix your own coffee condiments.

I have been a customer for years and I still cannot understand why they make so many simple mistakes. I always order a medium decaf Lite and sweet. A large percentage of the time they get it wrong. I am at the point I need to watch what pot they pour the decaf from.

The last straw was I watched a young woman pour regular coffee instead of decaf, then told me she poured decaf and pushed the cup further to me while resting her hand on top of the register snapping here fingers waiting to be paid.

Where are these employees trained?

DD- Like the coffee, hate the service. Starbucks is overpriced but the never get the order wrong.

I've been to this store several times in the biltmore area of downtown and every single time the lady at the front counter is rude. Her name is sandra and she obviously does not want to be there in the mornings. She is real short with all the customers, she never smiles, and acts as though she some god complex. Seriously, I asked her for less ice in my iced coffee (I have sensitive teeth) and she said, "we can't do that you get a full cup of ice, then the coffee. If I give you less ice, you get less drink". Seriously?!? How much does that stuff cost, like 4 cents a cup?

The other employess are fine people! But this lady has some issues...

I get dunkin donut coffee at least twice a day, sometimes three. My issue is, the customer service is ridiculous. They are rude and give you the feeling that I am bothering them. If you go inside in the afternoon, there is never anyone at the counter. I literally have to lurk over to make them see me, or even yell out, "hello", or yoohoo is anybody there. They are usually in the kitchen area talking amongst themselves. I have complained to a few manager's multiple times. They never get the order right, they just don't pay attention at all. With only an exception of two or three morning shift people. There are two locations owned by the same person, both located on atwells avenue. My issue is the store in the plaza on atwells avenue. I have taken my coffee back numerous times and told them I ordered it light. You get an attitude immediately. Another issue I have is the cheddar cheese bagel twists. They are never cooked thoroughly. Almost raw inside. They need to be cooked the same way the bagels are. I spend between 12 and 15 dollars a day at dunkin. I am banning this certain location like I have done a few times, but figured I would give them another chance being I work up the street from them and it is convenient for me. I am tired of these young people who work there with an attitude and the store does nothing about it. Thank you for taking my complaint, much appreciated!

Constant wrong orders at both locations. Maybe they should take a little more time with customer service instead of worrying how their bum looks in their pants!

Dunkin' Donuts no donut selection

I was very dissatisfied with the selection of donuts at the Dunkin Donuts location that just recently opened up on Transit Rd near Losson Rd. I wanted to buy a dozen donuts and the selection to choose from was terrible. I went into that location at about 3PM on a Sunday. How does the store expect to stay open and sell donuts all day if there is not a good selection to choose from? I was very disappointed with choosing to go to a Dunkin Donuts store versus a Tim Hortons. I do not think I will be back in the future to buy donuts at a Dunkin Donuts store. There was not even a manager on site to talk to about this. Very poor customer service.

This isn't complaint material. This is like complaining that a store sells Pepsi and doesn't sell Coke or complaining that you can't get a piece of pizza at McDonalds. Thread closed.

Just had a very rude encounter with the Dunkin’ Donuts MANAGER on Naamans rd. I had ordered a chai latte on their kiosk and some other food. They handed me my food and cleared my order on the board and I got no drink. The whole time the employees were giving my friend and I dirty looks. Finally the drinks came out, which I thanked them for, and was about to leave when I realized it was just a normal latte and not a chai latte. I went back to ask them about it and the MANAGER immediately came out and started yelling at me in front of the entire store saying that I ordered an original and that I have to buy a completely new one if I wanted a chai. Mind you the drinks were completely full. I was very taken aback by him yelling, and told him that I ordered a chai and my friend even backed me up because she was there and saw me press it, but he just yelled even louder. I can understand if I made a mistake but I feel as tho there was no reason for him to yell. He could’ve gone about it a completely different way but he just immediately started yelling. Very rude, everyone there. Probably just gonna stop going to Dunkin cuz every one I’ve gone to they have rude employees.

I agree with you. Today i went to a dunkin donuts in linden NJ and let me just say the service was abousolutly TERRIBLE. I can also tell they were just focused on me giving them my money. and when they gave me my change they practically shoved it in my hand! i also think it is rude how the employees talk in their own language because it was pretty ovious they were talking about me. someone should really do something about this for gods sake!

Dunkin' Donuts price discrepancy

At first I was happy to have a new D&D enroute to work until the starting crew was replaced with a new slower less efficient crew came. I went in ordered a toasted croissant w/butter the croissant is on the menu board for $1.29, butter is an extra .25 cents plus tax. My receipt said 1 bagel w/spread for 1.99 plus tax, when I pointed this out to the cashier "Jessica" she tells me that the receipt was correct because of tax. Well in CT our tax is 6% and I fail to see how tax could account for the what the cashier keyed in, long story short she and the supervisor defended the transaction blaming the mistake on taxes, I could not afford to be late for work however the incident bothered me all day. Needless to say I will not be stopping there anymore. The order #156966 on 9/8/08 @10:10:35 if any D&D management is reading this complaint.

Dunkin' Donuts bait and switch on coupons

Received coupon "buy 7 beverages get 8th free"- requires a punch for every beverage purchased. Store in questions refused to give tow punches for the two large hot coffees i purchased today, 9/7/08. When i questioned manager why they did not punch for the two punches she replied that the owner of franchise told them to give one punch per visit, not per each beverage purchased. Owner is obviously trying to keep his profit margin healthy at the expense of his customers. This constitutes fraud or bait and switch. I will not be doing business with this dunkins again a d will tell all their customers of this deal. I sincerely hope that dunkin donuts quality control will be monitoring this site.

Do you even know what it is to "Bait & Switch?'
'Cause refusing to hole-punch your coupon doesn't fall under that category.

I'm sure if you would have argued with the staff a bit longer you would have gotten your other punch, right in the face.

Dunkin' Donuts terrible customer service

I have been a customer at this establishment for the past 8 months, and have been shown total disrespect by the employees. One in particular, who may know be the manager or supervisor has taken upon himself to make rude comments to me while going through the drive through, waited online inside, has not provided me with my complete order, and has not given me back the full amount of change I am do to receive. The "gentleman" I am speaking of, is tall, African American who was working on the night of 8/31/2008 at the Dunkin Donuts in Hyde park, New York. I feel the company needs to take deceive action in this matter, before they lose any more customer to his rude and in competent behavior, as either a manager or supervisor!

I have gone to DD in Waverly Sq. in Belmont Ma many times but the last 3 0f 4 visits I have left before being served. They understaff the place in the afternoons. This location has the Baskin Robbins in addition to the hot sandwiches etc. The staff is either unaware of the line or doesn't really care. I have not seen a manager or owners around in any of my terrible visits.

They don't understand our language or culture, nor do they wish to. Their children come to work with the women and run all through the store. Cleanliness is not their concern inside or out. When we were there last, only 2 of us there, a child came and asked us to move our car so they could use the parking lot to play ball---we did and never went back. My husband was a 3 or 4 times a day customer--now he goes to McDonalds--and several of his friends he met also changed with him. Coffee is not as good but to be American is worth the sacrifice. Thank you for your consideration.

I live in Southern Virgina, The owner of about 15 stores in the entire state of virginia, is the only person I can speak to: he bought the name and products and has complete say over everything: problem is: he dont know good customer service.
he ony is about making money and treating customers unfairly. Me and him cant speak cause of his actions about 2 years ago, when one of his managers (name robert) chesapeake va store, treated me wrong. yelled and me twice and said I was looking for free food. I have a full time job *32 years and dont need anything for free: my complaint was: the bagel I order was toasted too long, it was hard to bite into. the manager yelled LOUD in front of customers and When I email the owner Mr. Motta, he didnt do nothing himself. I complain over the next year and I lost neighbors over this: they felt I need to move on and Mr Motta brings money into our community. I also spoke wiht Mr Motta about 8 months ago when he opend another store in my neighborhood, he didnt know it was me, I mention about Young guys coming into the store 5am asking for money, (twice) and a sign should be put on the door about that. he said he knew about this and he didnt think a sign would help but he would. 8 months later No sign., I live in a homeless low budget area, This will happen again. The police know but wont do nothing unless Mr. Motta puts sign up. so from 2011- 9/3/2013 Mr. Motta has money money money but he dont care about Me, or others. Or bad products he is selling, I have many stories about bad food and service but as long as he is owner, nothing will be done and Dunkin Donuts cant do nothing cause he owns the name and products. sad but true. But I will keep telling everyone, and I am sure he will hear about it and just maybe he will notice he will lost customers and money. And I do predict one of his store will close very soon. there is very little business at the new store. and most of the time no cars in drive thru and inside store, unless he borrows from his other 19 stores to keep this store open?

I received my first Dunkin Perks "Free Medium size coffee" coupon and decided to use it at a Boston location today. The cashier didn't want to honor the coupon and along with another co-worker tried to convince me that Boston is NOT in Eastern Massachusetts (where the coupon is valid). I don't know if they didn't understand what Eastern meant or they were trying to trick me. They wasted several more minutes with me saying repeatedly that Boston is most definitely in Eastern Massachusetts, until a line started forming and the other customers were backing me up. Only then did I get my Medium coffee.

I agree...I have been trying to find a good dunkin donut ...but all of them seem to hire employees that do speak English but do not understand English...get orders wrong and are not flexible when they have to take a piece of cheese off a sandwich expecially if you bring a doctors note!

I was told that we can't be bothered when we are crowded or anytime for that matter! Who make up this rule?...the Dunkin Donut main office!

Here is my complaint letter to them:

Dunkin Donuts has recently left me extremely unsatisfied for several reasons. I am not one to complain; however, my recent encounters have prompted me to do so. I am an avid drinker of Dunkin Donuts coffee, and I visit a store on a daily basis. Several of my visits have been sub-par due to lack of proper customer service and quality of the product. This letter will include several experiences that have aggravated me enough to take the time to tell you about them. Each of these experiences have occurred at different Dunkin Donuts locations across three states (NY, NJ, and PA).

Last week I ordered an Iced Coffee, and when I took a sip, it was absolutely horrible. It was milky-white, with barely a trace of coffee. When I asked for a new coffee, the employees spoke to each other in a different language and proceeded to pour out some of my Iced Coffee and pour in some hot coffee, making my "new" coffee luke warm and even more disgusting.

In the eyes of the customer, this is horrendous and would lead me to believe that a lot of your customers may decide to visit Starbucks instead of Dunkin Donuts due to Starbucks' commitment to their customers. I recently waited at a Starbucks for a few minutes longer than normal and was presented with a "free coffee" card for my next visit because of their mistake. Dunkin Donuts has NOTHING comparable to this treatment & leaves me with a higher brand loyalty to Starbucks, even though I prefer the taste of Dunkin.

Another example: I recently received a Dunkin Donuts direct mail item listing a .99 cent 16 oz Iced Coffee as well as a .99 cent 16 oz Iced tea with several (probably 20) other coupons listed on the inside of the packet. The .99 cent Iced Coffee & Iced Tea appeared, by the looks of the direct mail piece, to be a PROMOTION-- implying that there was no coupon needed to get the announced price. It claimed all 16 oz drinks of that kind were to be at that price until August 5th with no restrictions listed anywhere on the piece. The inner coupons consisted of .99 cent hot coffees, $1.99 coffee coolattas, etc. When I visited Dunkin Donuts, and ordered my 16oz Iced Coffee, I was charged regular price. When I mentioned the promotion to the employees, they had never heard of it. Since I didn't have the coupon with me, I let it go (even though the direct mail piece DID NOT say to bring in the coupon).

However, the next time I visited Dunkin Donuts, I brought along the piece. Still, the employees were clueless, and I was not given the listed .99 cent price. Though furious, I still paid for my coffee and left. The THIRD time I visited I brought it with me again. This time, I had a larger order (2 iced coffees, a coffee coolata and a regular coffee), and I was using one of the inside coupons. The employee honored my inside coupon for the coffee coolata, but ONCE AGAIN spoke in another language to the other employees and decided that she would not honor the .99 cent price because there was no detachable coupon.

On top of not honoring the promotional price, she REFUSED to give me back my direct mail piece including the 15+ coupons that I still hadn't used. Our interaction was taking place in front of a line of customers, and all of the employees were speaking in a different language to each other and not letting me know what was going on. After about 5 minutes, I said, "never mind" and paid for the coffees FULL PRICE AGAIN. This is absolutely unacceptable. ALL of the experiences I have mentioned have taken place at different locations, making this problem even worse. It is clear that this is not an isolated incident, but a far spread problem with your employees and your customer service training. Regardless of whether the coupon was valid or not, employees should never treat a customer in the way they did in all of my mentioned interactions.

I sincerely hope to hear from you soon as I am sure that I am not alone in feeling this way. Though I enjoy your coffee, your lack of commitment to customers leads me to believe that you do not see them as being anything more than money in the bank, and therefore I will not visit a Dunkin Donuts again, and will encourage others not to either.

Dunkin' Donuts lack of product

We went through the drive-through to order some donuts. The worker said they had none at all. We asked for munchkins and again were told that they had none at all. So we had to make do with muffins, which was NOT what we wanted at the time but... So at the window, the worker explainded that due to fuel costs, they were only doing one delivery a day and that it has been an ongoing problem because they were running out of donuts every day. This also blew a big hole in the theory/notion that the donuts are actually baked on site. As if they haven't already passed on the rising cost of fuel to the consumers. Give me a break.

I would like to make a report about Dunkin Donuts and how mistreat their employees. when started work not very long ago I was hired by Pinky Its ok until she started to yell at me hit me sometimes and embarrass me which cause me to experience self-conscious distress when I would come to work.

Recently my little brother was shot by a stray bullet going to gas station I ask pinky would could I talk to her I have a family emergency. She wouldn't take me to the back to talk in private when told her what had happen to my little brother and that my parents are no longer living a its my responsibility. She start yelling no I don't care I know a head a time and need to be at work my right time or I would lose my job. She embarrassed me again one of the main customers can out to see about me and a another manager. From then I have been looking for another job. Then she fired me because some one told her that I had a new job and I didn't have at the time.

So now as I am writing I do not have my last two check because of a hat. She told me to bring my uniform when came in to building and this is all on camera she walk out the back I had to go out side and call her name. She tells me that she's off work and 6pm it was 7:30 then says give shirt and name tag she knows I keep my hat in the locker. she waits to we get in front of customers to start saying she not going to give me my check until she get the hat. And walks out. Police say its a civil matter that they cant do anything about a 75 cent hat.

Dunkin' Donuts bleach in coffee

Today I went to get a latte at dunkin d's. I first went through the drive through ordered payed for my stuff and left. Once I got down the road started to drink my latte. I smelled bleach WTF!Every time I took a sip I smelled bleach. I looked at cup and smelled coffee inside and found some kind of bleach chemical smell on cup possibly in coffee too. So I took it back and asked to speak to the manager who by the way was ignoring the problem( hello I just drank bleach****@#!) he totally dismissed that there was a problem with my latte and walked away.Another employee refunded my money, but I am soooo ooo oooo not happy with that.Tell me, Would you like cream and sugar oh and bleach? I dont think I would get away with serving some food tainted with a little bleach, maybe even someone would accuse me of attempted manslaughter by neglegaince of serving a potentialy deadly cup of coffee.I sure dont think they would sit in front of me and drink a cup of bleach and tell me its ok, their ok, and thier is no problem with that. My head hurts now oh no.

We are not allowed to put wax papers in the bags with a product at all. It's just like putting a pair of used disposable gloves in the bag, which is unsanitary. Our hands touch the paper, and then touch your food. The employee probably had no idea she was doing anything wrong. Ask for separate bags next time.

We are not allowed to put wax papers in the bags with the donuts after we've touched them in our location unless specifically asked to.
The entire point of the wax paper is to create a barrier between the hand and your food. Why would you want said contaminated object banging around in the bag rubbing against your donuts.
if anything, if you really are that particular, you should ask for seperate bags.

To the Dude that complained about the lack of squishy donuts- get up earlier. Most places unless located in a busy 24 hour spot, only get one, 2 deliveries max. Donuts are best between 6-3 and then from there is a bit.. downhill. Thats because donuts and coffee doesnt come out of a Magically Perfectly Delicious land; they come out of trucks and from hurried workers rushing brews cause they only have 2 pots that function and a line out drivethru and front counter. Its from owners with their values on how much cash they can stick in their pockets to buy more stores or buy STUPID equipment we dont use while purposefully shorting their stores of NEEDED items like CREAM and SUGAR and REGULAR COFFEE and all sorts of other things. Lids. Medium cups. I remember the day we ran out of ice. That was aweful.
The point is,
it sucks for the employee too.
Ive been at this particular location for almost 4 years now, and I am damn good at being Octopus Armed/Minded (able to multitask and remember large strings of orders at once) cause I do everything by myself cause they put me on BY MY SELF with a drive through and a front counter and I serve you guys AT ONCE. And the costumers are just the tip of the iceburg. You really have no idea how much side work there is when you are by yourself. And EVERYTHING else. I never stop moving; and Ive learned to like it cause guess what? I get Coffee to make it possible, and The tips I make, make it worth it. If you are a good people person, which I am, you develop a following. And once you have that following your in. You have an average amount you pretty much know you can count on. This is the deciding factor of any tip industry.
But now they are taking that away, so I think it is going to be time for me to find a new job. The constant, rediculious shortages and unfair treatment/late paychecks was one after another after another.. machines break and they dont fix them.. keep having to turn people away.. That comes out of my pocket too, because that is potential tips for me right there! When you have to keep telling people you dont have something its REALLY hard to get them to tip you after that cause they dont like your establishment and either they dont realize or you BOTH dont realize that its really the Corperation holding ya down. They dont give a ### about nobody. Not even pissed off customers. Unless it can be held up in a court of law. They know someone else will happen along wanting what you were wanting.

There was a time when donuts were made fresh all day in each store. Remember the ads with that tired donut maker getting up all through the day every day to make the donuts. All he could say was "got to make the donuts" where is that Dunkin's cause they all suck now in fact I don't think there has been a fresh donut at Dunkin's in at least 15 years or more. Are there still real donut stores left? Maybe the savior inchief can fix this in his next fleecing of America's unborn tax bill. Some congress member can write it in to law. Who's going to complain about it since they don't read these bills anyway why not a fresh donut act.

Dunkin' Donuts discrimination by store manager

I applied at this store and was discriminated against and not hired due to my age of fifty-one. Although I returened eleven times per the store manager's request, I wasted a total of several hours waiting to be interviewen and was later told by word of mouth that the store manager only hires young people to "see what get out of them", as older people do not go along with this. Age discrimination in this state is highly illegal as I will mention when I report to the Labor Board and recieve my interview with a local newspaper

Dunkin' Donuts very bad service and excess charge

They have very bad service. Like mistreating customers for no particular reason.

To top it when I asked hot water, the other dunkin donuts charge 35c for the cup, but these guys charge teh price of coffee sometimes and price of tea sometimes, but never less. And after couple of times, When my collegues advised that I could complaint about the location. I wanted to warn the guy before I actually complain, so maybe he will just fix it. Instead he took away the cup of hotwater and asked me to go ahead and complain. I asked him I wanted to take the bagel and hotwater and I handed him cash. He completely ignored and turned his face away. So I left.

Dunkin' Donuts sexual harassment

Several young girls who pass through the 3rd avenue dunkin donuts end up being the only girl in a predominatly indian male atmosphere. There are cameras in the place except in the the freezer room. The girl working at the time is typically asked to go mop the freezer room where usually gets confronted by an older male individual late 50's to 60 (Usually thomas or other). She's unvoluntarily touched and asked to provide sex. If theres some kind of resistance from her then money is offered to cover up or to porsue sex.
These girls are usually here from another country in a seasonal position or are haven't been here for too long. Since they have no proof of anything and because they're outsiders, they are usually affraid to say anything, for fear of reputation, being fired or being mistreated. Usually their only means of survival and getting back to their country depends on the part time job they have which is barely enough to pay for rent.
Police will do very little because thre's no evidence of anything.
Usually not many people can conplain because they go back to their country after a short while, so these individuals keep getting away with it.

One of these days somebody might lose it and do something crazy.

I just wish something legal could be done.

Install a hidden camera in the freezer and use the videotape of the man's activities to send to the police or DD corporate headquarters or just use it to get some sweet cash out the dude. Quit being a whiny victim and turn the tables.

Dunkin' Donuts employees cannot understand english

For over 15 years I have been going to Dunkin Donuts. However, the past several years there seems to be a surge of non-English speaking employees who on a regular basis get my order wrong. Should I have to give up my Iced Mocha Latte with an extra shot of espresso and whip cream because there is an employee behind the counter who barely speaks my language? I am a patient person, but after years of this growing problem at my home town Dunkin Donuts, I might just have to call it quits and start buying my java at Caribu. I love this country but really how free am I as an American when a special order for a simple item eludes me due?

Go to Boston and the areas outside of Boston and alot of the Dunkin Donut workers are illegal Brazilian immigrants, the funny thing is alot of the Brazilian who speak fluent english are illegal and in other instances there are emplyess who have limited english skills but they have their immigration paper work in order.

I agree with you.
It is very frustrating dealing with servers and crew members who can't speak english.
I am working for a Dunkin' and more than half of my co-workers are not fluent in english. It makes my job very difficult.
I mean, how am I s'posed to tell them what I need, how to fix orders, ring things, or anything for that matter, if they can't speak english. Its really hard. Customers are constantly complaining.

Dunkin' Donuts - terrible treatment of employees

My granddaughter took a job at the Dunkin Donuts located on Manchester Street in Concord, NH. The manager should not be in the position she is in. She yells at her workers constantly. She doesn't care how many people are in the shop, you can hear her yelling and then the worker has to come out to work knowing that everything was just heard by all customer...

Dunkin' Donuts it is not dunkin doughnuts

Not against Walmart itself, but against Dunkin Doughnuts coffee being sold in the stores. It is not their coffee! I've bought D&D coffee from D&D stores many times, and always great but yesterday was the first purchase I made since they have been selling it in stores. I am beyond upset! This is not the coffee they sell in D&D! It tastes like Foldgers or some other coffee but definitely not their own coffee! How can I find out what is going on? Are they cutting corners some where?

Help I love D&D coffee! Thank you for your help in this matter.]

Sincerely;
Brigitte Ricci.

Dunkin' Donuts Dirty hands of employes, rude behavior

There is a dunkin donut in my neighborhood with very untrained, rude and unclean employees. I saw them sticking there hands in the ice-cream and scratching thier heads while touching food. Talking on the phone while taking orders on the drive through.
There drive through service is horrible, with a person who cannot speak english well, no greetings when we reach. I personally always give the order on the drive through and then they always ask me again at the window and start making it while I am waiting at the window.
I went to take a mango smoothie and chocolate shake at 12 am. The guy asked the order and I told him, he asked me to move to other counter and give my order there. When moved and saw another employee who was working on drive through and talking on the phone. (no other employee was there to serve). The guy took order of another person who was behind me and gave him a large ice-cream and a large coffee. He came back to me and asked me again "whats your order" I told him. He made the shake and asked me again "whats the order" (he was talking to another employee). Then I said "how many times should I tell you the order, you made the order of a person who was behind me, you are talking to your friend while taking order, do you know the rule"first come first serve"and he replied" no I dont know, the customer's order was small thats why I served him first, you have attitude, I will not serve you get out"I was surprised at his reply, and demanded manager number, he refused and told me"there is no manager and no number and I dont care if you came first, I can ask for the order as many times as I want". This guy was incredible I must say.
His name was sam, I provided every detail please do something.

Before commenting on someone else for bad English I would work on your own grammar. You don't always use uppercase when you are supposed to, and these simple rules of grammar are taught in the first grade. You do have attitude and I hope your parents found out you stole their car, because with your behavior you are obviously way too young to drive.

Dunkin' Donuts Rude behavior

I drove through the drive thru and ordered a small wildberry smoothie. When I got to the pick up window, she gave me a medium smoothie. I explained that I ordered a small one and I did not want to get charged for a medium. She was very rude and nasty and said she did not take the order. I pulled around to go inside to ask what her name was. Her name is Lynee. It did not matter that she did not take the order. All she had to do was just fix it by charging me for my small instead. It was not my fault that she misheard me. There was also no reason to be rude to me. I was not rude to her.

When she found out you are too young to drive she should have called the police and reported the car stolen. If you mistake her telling you she is not the one that took the order as rudeness you are obviously a child. If she did not take your order she did not mishear you. If you actually are old enough to drive you need to grow up and act your age because you acted like a four year old that day.

Dunkin' Donuts employee attempting to steal card!

I go to Dunkin Donuts for coffee pretty regularly. I ordered and went through the drive-thru. I went to pay with my card, and the cashier tells me that there's no money on it. I knew for a fact that there was a balance of about $15 on it. I asked the cashier to try it again, and he tells me that the card is empty. So, I paid cash. Then, the cashier doesn't offer to give me my "empty" card back, which they usually do. I asked him to give it back to me, which he did. When I got home, I went and checked the balance online, and sure enough, there was a balance of $15.88 on it. He was obviously trying to pocket my card. This behavior makes me sick!

Dunkin' Donuts Worst customer service ever!

I needed to study for my midterm exam. A place where's it's warm, opens late, and caffeinated. So i've decided to drive to the local dunkin donuts — big mistake. I got in, purchased coffee and chose a small table at the corner of the store, where I would less likely to be disturbed. An hour later, there was a shift change. I'm not sure if the new person is of manager status or just another hourly paid grumpy rude worker. She comes up to my table, and said (Verbatim) — "I need this table. You need to move to the other side (Points to the noisy side), this side is for customers who come and go."

Nowhere in the store is there a sign that says the room has two separate areas. Surprised, I had replied "i've been here for a while, why do I have to move." she looks at me as if I were stupid, and said "that side is for studying, this side is for people who come and go."

Frankly, I was too stunned and angry to think logically. I should've stayed where I was and told her to stick those donuts up her #. But i'm a peaceful person. I was already tired from studying all day and had no energy to put up a fight. So I moved. I shouldn't have but I did, leaving her with the satisfaction of bossing customers around.

This will be the last time I ever step a foot into that store, and the last time i'll ever be a dunkin donuts customer. With this kind of customer service and attitude, it's no wonder even when starbucks is closed for training, no more than the regulars went to dunkin for coffee.

I got a small hot coffee, black, at the same restaurant and got similar treatment! I went over and sat in the quiet corner and took over a table (the people sitting there were kind enough to move once I kicked the lady's purse to the other side of the room). About 11 hours later, as I waved in the movers with my couch, the grumpy worker (I bet its the same one) told me I'd have to leave and that I couldn't move furniture into the restaurant.

I was livid. I told him I was a paying customer and NOWHERE was there a sign saying I couldn't move in my furniture! I was just looking for someplace quiet and warm to learn Chinese, and I had only gotten through the first three CDs of my Rosetta Stone series.

I was too stunned and andgry to think clearly, so I punched him in the face.

That is the LAST time I spend a dollar at a Dunkin Donuts!

Oh wait, that's idiotic. Get a hotel room or find a home, loser.

I am complaining about the Dunkin Donuts at 205 W. Randolph in Chicago, IL. I went there this morning and this is the worse experience that I have had at a Dunkin Donuts in my life. I love their Carmel Lattes, however, I went there this morning (04/25/2008) I ordered a number 4 (Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a Crossiant) and a Carmel Latte, first off, the cashier got my order wrong and had to refund my money for the first order that he messed up (which I paid for on my credit card), then once he did get my order correct, I waited for my food while lstening to a young lady talk to her co-worker like a child, he seemed fairly new and she complained about everything that he's done. Instead of helping him get it right, she just complained and in front of customers. Then, I received my food, which, as long as i waited should have been piping hot. I then took a sip from my Caramel Latte, it had no flavor or nothing. It tasted like coffee and creame. For $2 and some change I should have had a ver satisfactory experience with the latte if not anything else. I paid, $7.71 for a breakfast that wasn't hot not good. If I were a rude person I would have took it back and cursed out everyone that is in there. However, I am a very calm person and believe that some people can make mistakes. When you make a $7 mistake on someone else's dollar, you should be held accountable. There needs to be more training in this facility and apparently more workers. While I was there several customers brought their food back either complaining that they received the wrong thing, or that the food was nasty. I don't understand...I stopped because this place was always packed and as I said, I love your restaurants...however, I will never return to this place again.

Well, yes Dunkin Donuts is not a study hall. If you are sitting there for hours and the table is needed by Paying customers, then you need to get your ### out. One cup of coffee doesn't give you table rental for 6 hours.
