Dunkin' Donuts - mistreat employees and payroll issues

I was a former employee of the dunkin donuts on western after they re opened up. I've seen the lawsuits of how dunkin supposedly discriminated against minority owned locations in the past. They don't think of the minority owned locations actually discriminating against the employees. I am not racist at all i treat all people the same. It was how i was raised. This location at 433 a western blvd jacksonville nc.. is an Indian owned location. The owners were from india. They have no experienced management team that knows what they are doing. I made written complaints about the management team including the two named managers debbie and jennifer. I was in my probationary period and got severely sick from another employee working sick and was out for a week on a doctors note and had to trips to the ER during this time. While out on a doctors note I was fired because of the complaints I made against the two managers they had. There reason was I was not a good fit for the job. Surprisingly I had worked for two other locations so how can I not be a fit for the job is my question. The owners didn't want me to hurt there business so allowed the managers to fire me for no good reason. I am a white employee and I feel like I was discriminated against. Not Only That They Did Not Have Any Mats By The Front Door To Prevent People From Slipping When It Rained When U Walked in. I had slip proof shoes and still slipped. My leg and muscle was severely injured to where I couldn't walk for a couple of weeks. I lumped around. When I asked the owners for a mat they refused. They didn't pay for the doctor bill and now I'm stuck with it for their negligence. They had no policies in place for things like this. When I complained to the owners about their negligence and the poor management and how they treated employees I was fired not long after that while out on the doc note. I was a liability for the store and they didn't want to take responsibility so they got rid of me instead. The owners talked to you in a manner that u were not important and we're beneath them. They didn't care. The acting store management debbie who has no payroll skills or math skills for that matter. She claimed I owed her money outta of my check...because she thought I was double paid. When I realized I was missing a week from my check and told her I wasn't suppose to pay her any money back she refused to give me my wages back, even though the proof and click sheets were in her hand. I believe she was attempting to keep my money or maybe it was the owners. I showed her she was incorrect and she told me that she wasn't and still refused to fix my pay check until I repeatedly contacted the owners then it was fixed somewhat. The first two days i worked i had no clock in number so my hours were written down and given to debbie the store manager. She was mad at my complaints so refused to acknowledge i worked the first two days. Which was about 7 hours total. I still haven't gotten paid for it. And the crooked store manager wouldn't acknowledge i worked to get back at me for complaining on her. I don't have money for a lawyer for seven hours missed pay so basically they got me for it and got free work. I feel i was discriminated against and wish they would take responsibility for there actions. And thepoor way they run business. They should treat employees fairly and retaliation against them for doing what is right is wrong. How can u prove anything when it's there word against yours. This location seriously needs to be looked at by dunkin corporate. They give dunkin a bad name. If u only knew what I've seen them do yo the food they sell customers they would be shut down indefinitely. Problem is they need to be caught in the act for it to happen it seems.

Lol Taylorh2, he is just angry because he made this review about TGi Fridays. He made all sorts of claims about the company like the employees use drugs ect. He had no proof to back this up, and another user(troll or another employee) claimed he was fired from TGI's for trying to pick up a female worker who reported him because he would not take no for an answer.

Basically B P made a complaint, could not back it up with proof, and is angry that grandma asked him to back himself up. Just click on his username and you will notice that he is trolling and stalking her from post to post, posting something that has nothing to do with the review.

B P State inspector, you can't tell people to "mind their own business" if you post something on a public forum/board .

No one is trolling on this website B.P State Inspector, you simply dislike her opinions because you wrote a review and she told you that you were wrong. If this is the case perhaps it is you who need to grow up. Also this review site is for people who share their opinions. If it was not there would not be a comment section. You tell her to mind her own business, but what about you coming to a topic to just tell her off? Isn't that trolling itself? Isn't that stalking. Keep in mind when you write a complaint people are not always going to side with you. Especially since you make false claims and don't have proof to back it up, as you did in your TGI Friday's review.

Prime example of "FOXYGRANDMA" trolling a PUBLIC complaint board user. If you want to be a judge so bad then get off your ### and do it, stop trying to find your pathetic satisfaction in replying to peoples complaints like its YOUR problem, because it's NOT. These are problems between the specific user making the complaint and the target of the complaint. Its hard to tell a lady of 73 years old to grow up, but you in fact need to grow up and understand the world does not resolve around the pathetic statements you make on a daily basis. You give American law enforcement a bad name.
learn to mind your own business FOXYGRANDMA.

I have to agree with foxygrandma, it seems like you are not a team player. I like how when someone is fired or disciplined on the job they claim discrimination.

So what if Debbie has no math skills, it is obvious your grammar skills are poor. I was not going to mention this but since you mentioned her math skills I am going to mention your grammar skills. Debbie, is a proper noun, as well as Dunkin Donuts and Western, therefore they should begin with a capital letter.
