Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] wrong bandwisth installed

April 2007, I requested for a transfer of ADSL from a former office to my residence, being the office was closing down…
It took a month before the installation was made at my residence and I assumed the bandwidth is still 1024kbps. I did not bother at that time to check the bandwidth. But since May 2007, up until December 2008, I have been complaining of very slow connection (40kbps or almost 300kb ) which was never resolved and I took it that as per hearsay that..”Digitel just take their subscribers/ customers for granted, since no technician paid any visit”. It was only on September 2009 that I had to wait on a technician from his lunch break (Henry). He was surprised to find me just outside his home and more surprised that he did not know there is a fault report from within our area because he had just finished the area before lunch and should be going to another area. His superior even called him asking him where he is probably because he did not yet report back to work because I literally demanded him to come over and look at our connection. There were several solutions he did and he was almost desperate. The last thing he did was check the configuration and eureka! My account was configured to 512kbps (around 64kBps)…which then explains the slow speed ranging from 300kbps to 10kbps….i have handed a letter of termination of services to the Manager herself and surrendered their telephone and modem..i am keeping the receiving copy which also mentions their insensitivity to investigate why they have billed me the amount of 1832Php as the rate for 1024kbps and yet I was given the actual bandwidth of 512kbps…even the technician (who happens to be a neighbor) cannot explain why…

From May 13, 2007 to September 10, 2009 the account was configured to 512 kbps. Obviously, accounting –wise….there was overpayment….if they will be honest to themselves..

Now...they are sending me bills which i refuse to pay due to DIGITEL's unexplained SYSTEM...

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] digitel does it again

No internet connection, slow connection and TODAY i have a sporadic "REQUEST TIMED OUT".

I know DIGITEL can help me with my problems(they did many times), but my real problem is I have no idea which of their HOTLINES work! I have been calling every numbers i have on my list but nobody answers anymore. These are the numbers:
#[protected] - Lopez, Quezon - (Office Closed)
#[protected] - Atimonan, Quezon - (Office closed)
#[protected] - Pagbilao, Quezon - (Office closed)
#[protected] to 53 - (Lucena, City) - Office open - IGNORES my calls.
and #[protected] - (Location Unknown-maybe Atimonan, Quezon since it's a 511 number) - one from the billing department(which is unreacheable too...except when they call for non-payment of the monthly bill, which they are very prompt!) mentioned that number to call for report, but, [protected] gives a busy dial tone! ugh!

Ahhh and the epic failure! the DIGITEL hotline - #1800-[protected] ...I get response from this number before. If i have been patient for an hour a day or dialing every 15 minutes, i might get an answer...SURPRISINGLY, this same number never answers anymore. I tried doubling my patience and became ever obedient pressing every number i was told to PRESS "press 1" "press 2" "press 6" NEVER "pressed 9" (it will end my call)...I tell you...dialing this HOTLINE is torturing me...I already MEMORIZED the ADS they have there and all i get in the end(after spending 30 minutes of pressing buttons and listening to ads) is "SORRY, you have reached your maximum attempts. THANK YOU FOR CALLING DIGITEL" .

Unlike the 1800-[protected] which DIGITEL employs stupid people with "MEMORIZED" dialogues like "have you tried resetting your MODEM, Mr Eugene?" over and over...even if I have been calling for a "NO CONNECTION" due to typhoon, our local helpdesks respond better. Unfortunately their offices have been closed and the nearest we have here(Lucena, City) is 45 minutes away and IS a DIAL away!...yet they seem to ignore my every calls!

Lately, after a year of 'problem free' service from DIGITEL(one which i have posted here and was HEARD), I'm back with complaints again with regards to rebates for 'no connection', and RTOs(Request Timed Out) and to double my problem...I am not able to let them know because they are not available through phone and is to far and inconvenient going to their nearest office.

Please help me.

Wag na kau mag avail ng services ng digitel... Sobrang pangit ng services nila... From time to time nawawala ang internet connection, pati ang landline. Sobra ka gago ng crew at staff dito sa candelaria, quezon perwisyo sila sa aking internet shop. Am chito of candelaria... Punyeta kayo...

tracert www.google.com as of 12/24/2011. Plain tracert times out on Philippine soil. Line #7 is from Nueva Ecija. Line #8 is from United States. Digitel could have problems within their network. If Digitel can explain the below trace that would be better.

Objective Complaint on Digitel Candelaria Quezon
New subscriber and found out that the internet service was fast on the first day. Am now on the first week and found out the below ping message. For those who are knowledgeable in networks, they might have a comment on such a connection. I will update this thread and report how timely Digitel Candelaria support service is. Stay tuned.

Other comments: Hotline service does not exist. Website says 'Talk to Us' but you talk to an automated service.

Oo mga gago talaga ang digitel management walang kwenta, nagbabayad ka ng tama tapos ang service nila walang kwenta, pag unang subscribe mo ok ang internet at mabilis, after 1 month binababa nila ang speed ng walang sabi sabi sa subscriber tapos ang babayaran mo same pa rin... Mga putang inang digitel management manloloko.. Dito ko lang nasabi ang sama ng loob ko sa buwisit na digitel

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] digitel adsl poor service

DIGITEL - URDANETA CITY, PANGASINAN BRANCH - Digitel services suck. I applied for Digitel Netvantage Plan 999 which is 512/384 kbps down and upstream respectively but I only get 90/120 kbps. I only have 1 PC in my home, and im usually playing Online Games like RAN, Special Force, Ragnarok, etc. Every time i play these games, i always experience extreme delays/lag/latency, such as "time-warping" of characters on the screen. I tested Digitel ADSL speed and quality at speedtest.net and pingtest.net, it revealed that DigitelOne Performance is very poor(200~1000ms and 30% packet data loss). I filed a formal complain at Digitel few months ago and still there's no action. They told me that they would fix it ASAP but after some weeks, the problem still persist.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] telephone service too slow

I've been reporting our telephone for almost two weeks and until now no single representative or technician came to check our phone. Our phone got disconnected after we have settled our bills and paid our balance. First our out going calls are barred then now not even a dial tone. We have no telephone service now for almost a month, and I am sure we're going to pay it even it is disconnected. DIGITEL YOUR SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME plus your INTERNET SERVICE IS SO SLOW! I DO NOT WHAT TO SAY ANYMORE I CAN'T DESCRIBE IN WORDS HOW BAD IS YOUR SERVICE IS.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] unsatisfied service

Actually I experience this unsatisfying service since I switch from Smart telecoms to Digitel.

It happen a week after i switch when my line was full of RTO's and a very slow connection. I called them to troubleshoot my line but it took a week and still no answers from the company. I decided to change house and ask them to transfer my line. But it took a month and still counting, and still don't have my line until now! So i bought a cable wires and improvised a way to use my internet line cause my house was just 4 blocks away.

I still keep on calling them to transfer my line or just give me an explanation why they still don't transfer it.

then right now, i had a problem again.

My internet line suddenly slows its connection, well actually it's really slow in the morning..to think that my internet line is 512mbs.

So i called the service center to report and troubleshoot my line. A call representative named Crissa answered my call. She keeps saying to me to do things which i did and hung up the phone which really upsets me. I called again but it took 30mins before someone answered it. I feel so bad. I am a customer and i am paying. Why can't they do their job well? I always experience this every week. and they fixed if after 2 days.

So i advise the people who want to get an internet connection at home in the Philippines not to get Digitel services. You will just feel bad and pissed everyday.

I would like to complain about the very poor service that Digitel is offering, aside from lacking of technicians, they act so late. secondly is the fact that I subscribed for a 1mbps connection and i don't even get atleast 1.0mbps everyday. I think in business we have to be straight about the service we could offer to the client. If they can only give like 700kbps, they should have not offered a 1mbps plan. Filipinos aren't stupid. they have this exclusive site wherein we could test the internet speed and wow, they could give us a result of 1.3mpbs, but the thing is, it's not really accurate. I was an online teacher and my company has this site where we could the test internet connection and from 1.3mbps that digitel site told me what was my internet speed, it turned out that i only have 234kbps for download and 128kbps for upload. we don't deserve this as we pay for a thousand every month..and everyone can use this site.http://helper.tutorabc.com/BandwidthTesting/Bandwidth_Detect.html

Im also a 5 year Digitel subscriber here in Angeles City Pampanga. It happens this July 2009 until now the DSL connection is like a christmas light it turns on then turn off repeatedly. I called their hotline and the call center agent told me that they will forward my complain. then i've waited that day then the following day no technical assistance called or what just had happened to my DSL connection considering that I'm in there list of the business plan. i've never skip the day without calling their hotline then i asked one of the agents why is it this problem took so long to fix. then they told me that i'm affected in there transmission problem. So transmission problem is the reason why i had this weird feeling no calls from their technical team and even tell me that i will be experiencing network problem in my DSL.Until now their DSL connection sucks! That is why im switching to other ISP here in Pampanga. I tell you that the Digitel backbone is the worst and low class, cheap DSL provider.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] bad customer service

DEAR SIR/MADAM:

I would like to report a complaint regarding a delay on the installation of our Internet and landline which is supposed to be installed 3 weeks back.

My sister (Ms. Maria Normelita Babat) availed for the DSL Plan 999 last June 24, 2009 through an agent named Mark Anda. He assured to us that it is a free installation and it will be installed within a maximum of 3 to 4 days. My sister paid the amount asked. But after 4 days we were informed that we have to add P500 for the installation without giving us a convincing explanation. We gave the amount since we really need to have the line connected but no action was done after that.

We decided to visit the Lucena branch office last week and found Mr. Anda at the gate of the office.
He didn't allow us to enter the premise cause he mentioned that there's meeting goin on inside. He just told us that by Friday (July 10), the line will be connected but then he didn't show up.

We called Digitel this morning to follow-up and a certain Mr. Raymond answered the phone and told us that there is no such application for installation under the name of Ms. Normelita M. Babat. He just asked my number and promised to call but then again he didnt call.

I am very disappointed on the service...I would like to complaint the whole Lucena Branch especially Mr. Mark Anda-whoever he is! Please do something about this! This will create bad impression on your company. Your reply is expected! Thank you!

im working here in kuwait, kahapon nagpakabit ako ng internet sa digitel para nmn po maktipid ako sa mga calls ko sa pinas.pero kakakabit pa lng ng net..nagamit lang ng isang oras after nun wla na.it says DSL no connection...para po sa pamunuan pakiayos namn p ng serbisyo dahil minadali nyo kaming ikabit at magbayad dahil ang sabi last slot na yun sa block nmin tapo nag maikabit na anjan agad ang problema..pakiayos namn po sa welman

yeah those ### really sucks! and the speed of their dsl really sucks 5kbps? LOL even an mp3 cannot be downloaded damn.. but they insist that they use a very fast dsl connection.. but not is reeally not true..

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] digitel dsl scam

SCAM YANG DIGITEL NA YAN...nag apply ako ng 1.5Mbps pero ang nakukuha ko lang 210Kbps. Nung nag reklamo ako sa reginal office nila sa Lucena binagsakan ako ng telepono ng manager nila "Mr. GUNIO" ang pangalan. Hindi lang Digitel ang may problema pati ang mga tao nila.

Pag tumatawag ka naman sa hotline nila ang puro hingi lang ng sorry wala namang gingawa. Ayusin nyo naman serbisyo ninyo Digitel!

Dapat kasi di pinapayagan magoperate yan eh! Gawa naman sana ng aksyon ang Gobyerno para mawalan ng license ang Digitel...

DIGIHELL BATAAN, GISING NA KAYO! Ang dami na naming may complaint sa inyo pero halos wala pang naaayos. Almost two weeks na ang complain ko, sabi ginagawa naman daw pero bakit hindi naaayos? Ang plan ko is unlimited internet pero last week me alloted time lang ako. From 11pm to 6am. Inayos daw, naging 5 to 10pm naman. Anong pag-aayos ang ginawa nyo dito? Ngayon, wala na akong connection? Ano na naman "alibi" ang maririnig ko dito?
Pag tumatawag ako sa office nyo, hindi nyo sinasagot? AYUSIN NYO NAMAN ANG MGA REKLAMO, MGA DEMONYO KAYO!

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] failed to install on promised date

To whom it may concern,

I am a first time customer which you may call a very dissatisfied customer and if only i have a choice not to deal w / this company i will not deal w / this lousy company at all because of irresponsible employees from customer service and installation team.
I was approved for a line & dsl bundle and paid for the installation on may 26, 2009 at pldt, megamall. A woman in customer service at window #3 assist me in paying the installation fee of p1700 and she asked me; when do i prefer installation?, so i said saturday, this saturday which is may 30, 2009. Through that conversation i was confident that we had an agreement that it will be served on that saturday. My husband and i moved our appointments and errands that saturday to give to way for the installation. We waited all day for the installation or perhaps a call confirming or cancelling the appointment date for installing our line but no one contacted us for that matter.

Now, what can pldt do to compensate for the time we have waited waiting for the installation on may 30, 2009? You guys have the nerve to cut off lines immediately when a customer delayed paying while when you failed to do your promise obligations what do customers get? Nothing!

I will not let this pass. This has to end. This issue will be posted in internet forums and blogs and i will try to find a way how this can be escalated to the higher management and ntc.

You better find a way to get our line installed in our convenience and compensate for 1 day that we have wasted on waiting for your lousy dispatch team. They should be subject to disciplinary action not limited to dissmisal because if this continues your future customers will be greatly affected. I am migrating from bayantel to pldt because bayantel don’t cater to las pinas yet. As i expected, your lousy service proved it… here’s one very dissatisfied 1st time customer…one of your million dissatisfied customers!

In my case i bribed the technician 4K under the table para lang makabit ASAP and take note the technician assures me na whatever daw maging problem just text him nalang asap daw cila pupunta kc wala daw mapapala sa customer service hotline nila kc daw matagal un aabutin pa daw ng 2 weeks or more.. and they made me sign na wala ako binayad sakanila and told me na wag daw magsusumbong sa iba.. hahahaha

THE PLDT INTERNET SCAM

after being for 10 years customer of "smart bro" and having more or less acceptable service, PLDT took over smart bro and that's what happened:
1. PLDT did not even inform customers that they are not with smart anymore.
2.they downgraded the plan to limited downloads without informing for the same price.
3. After complaining of frequent cutoffs and interruptions of service they told. "they are servicing and upgrading the system".
4.finally after 1 month of complains they promised to send installer to "restore the internet access".
5.after persistent inquiry they admitted, that they changed the system month ago to limited downloads and tried to sell an "upgrade" for 10000 peso for new antenna and more expensive plan, but still with limited download, not even enough to watch one movie . further more they scam u all over, by telling the speed is "up to xx mbps" ( which means it can be even 0 or one bps ) and selling it as higher speed.
5. The download per month is even splitted per day ( 3 to 10 mbps ), so u can never do higher volume internet use. It translates to 5.5 minutes usage per day at the intended speed, which they think us stupid customers can’t calculate.
6. even if the internet is down for 5 hrs every day or 6 days per month its ok within the contract ( in very small print you will see "80 % min service time"
7. if you complain via hotline they still pretend to check you system like it has anything to do with it. i'm sure they just lean back and lol about us stupid customers, who seems to believe every scam.
IF YOU WANT TO DO MORE ON THE INTERNET THEN LOOKING UP YOUR EMAIL ONCE A WEEK YOU CAN'T USE PLDT HOME BRO ( FORMER SMART BRO) ANYMORE, NO MATTER WHAT PLAN YOU GO FOR

Same goes for me. When I applied for plan 3000, they said it will take only a week for the approval and processing but it took about 1 and a half month before na mainstall. Ang sabi pa ng technician ay hindi daw plan 3000 ang nakaindicate sa job order. ung basic na bundle daw. If ever gusto ko daw ng up to 5mbps na plan iupgrade ko daw uli sa plan 3000 next time. So akala ko basic bundle lang talaga naapprove sa akin so hindi ko na f-in-ollow up. I have been using a speed of less than 1 mbps most of the time and the highest speed na natest ko ay 2. 7 mbps, which is rare. Hindi ako ngcomplain since weekends ko lng naman nagagamit pra sa homebase ko. After na mgfile ako ng transfer, ngpatulong ako sa customer service na iexpedite since sabi nila it would take 2-3 weeks pa rin kahit same building lang ang paglilipatan ng connection. It took two weeks to get it connected and voila! Phone service lang. Wala daw DSL sa account ko. Then I went to the main branch para ipaputol na ng tuluyan since it's useless for my homebase, ang sabi sa main branch na plan 3000 daw ang nsa contract ko at ang binabayaran ko lang daw ay phone service na may caller ID (a total ###) dahil wala naman akong caller ID kit. SO they asked me to pay for the 3000 internet connection that I haven't paid for more than a year. A 3000 plan na up to 5mbps which I haven't even enjoyed. What the heck is wrong with PLDT?! It's their system error and they are demanding the customer to pay for their mistakes! I had to deal with their customer service agents that spouted craps and lies over the phone tapos ito pa sasabihin sa akin. Never akong ngcomplain sa crappy internet connection nila tapos gaganituhin nila ako. I'm having a hard time on how to deal with this situation. Am I supposed to pay for it? Don't they have a system that can monitor the speed and bandwidth based on the serial number of the router. Dynamic ang IPs nila but pwede pa rin mamonitor di ba? I'm thinking of forwarding this issue to NTC or asking an advice from a lawyer friend.

kakabayad lang namin for installation last week pero hanggang ngayon ni walang internet o dial tone sa telepono gumagana!
nakakainis na talaga kung pwede pa lang mg back out eh magba back out na ako!
sa mga nabasa ko dito na pinuputol nila agad pag late lang ng kaunti grbe naman! di naman gnyan ang smart o globe!
pgkokolek lang ng pera inaatupag nila pero di nmn agad2 gumagana service nila!
sana globe na lng pinili ko may internet na siguro ako ngayon!

I have been a subscriber of PLDTMy DSL for more than a year now. On October 8, 2014, I lost my connection. I have called their service center several times and even went to their business centers to complain but it got me nowhere. I was told it was because my line is included in their pre-migration plan. Is it right that they cut connection without notice?

Is there somewhere where we can complain about their ### service?

Irritated, felt like I'have been fooled, I just had the connection last July 17 the agent says modem is for free no cash out and a 500 pesos installation fee will be indicated on my first billing and before due I paid it to avoid hassle and to make sure I have meet my obligations as a customer. But just yesterday I received text messages about a bill amounting to 4, 601 I mean what the heck? So I called the operator questioned her but all she says is sorry but it's not indicated to their systems that I applied during the promo so I have a remaining balance for the modem and blah blah.. Am not aware of that coz it's not what the agent told me, so at the end I have no one to blame but the agent. And I will never pay for that never! I'm sorry I'm not that stupid to pay for something that am aware of

ang PLDT ay talagang nakakadismaya..sa case nmin naputol ang wire nmin dtu s TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE dhil ky bagyong glenda almost 1 month n ay wlang nagpupunta n tauhan nila pra ayusin ulit ang kable..3 times n ako nag punta ng opisina nila at ang dami ng follow up calls s mga hotline nila wl p din at hinde p din naayus hanggang ngayun..nagtuturuan lng ang mga hotline 171, 164 bantay kable at 173 ang nagyayari pasa pasa lng ang nirereklamo ko s kanila n putol nga ang kable nmin dtu..wl din aksyon ang opisina kz nga daw na report n daw nila yon problema ko at tinanong ko ang pldt staff kung ilang beses n nag appear s records nila ang reklamo ko na putol ang kable nmin sagot skin ng babae 6 times n po ma'am..imagine 6 times n plus folow up calls ni wlng aksyun for almost 1 month na..wlng kwenta tlga ang PlDt kung my ioofer clang bagong promo jan cla magaling peru ang serbisyo naku BULOK..kya isip muna madaming beses bago po kau magpakonekta linta ng PlDL kz kung my problema n need i repair naku pahirapan tlga at klangan muna makaranas ng pag high blood jan s pldt n yan..

Good day, I am very upset to what happen in our PLDT DSL connection. Here's the situation we rented apartment and we had DSL connection and suddenly the owner of the apartment given us the noticed to leave the apartment because it was scheduled for renovation.
So we transferred the apartment and applied to PLDT for transfer the DSL line to our new apartment. After more than one month of waiting
for reconnection for DSL and suddenly the PLDT told us that sorry their is no dial tone in your area.
Please be noted that during that time of waiting for reconnection process we continue paying the monthly bills in PLDT because our product is in lock-in period for three years, meaning we are not allowed to terminate the PLDT DSL connection for three years until and unless we paid the total package amount for TelPAD unit.
Here's the biggest problem, because of the no dial tone available in our area the PLDT still insisting to pay us the total amount of TelPAD unit plus other charges even without using their services. I plan to return the TelPAD because I don't needed it anymore because our DSL connection is already cancelled due to no dial tone in our area.
Hoping you can give the priority to resolved my problem and bring attention to your legal department on how can I resolved my problem.

DIGITEL DSL SUCKS BIG TIME! Men i still remember when an agent from Digitel offers me a heck of a service that almost everybody will enjoy... i remember the agent's name is Carlo.

He told me that if i avail the promo i will be given 2 months free of charge for their internet connection and landline. and that i can avail a static IP for FREE! now that is something i really wanted to have, a FREE STATIC IP!

after a month i received a letter from DIGITEL and to my surprise i was actually charged for my first month! and to think that their agent told me that my 2 months will be free, and take note of this. When that agent talks to me about that eto ang sabi nya sakin "Totoo po to sir, kasama ko din po ang supervisor namin para sa makasiguro kayo." sabay turo sa lalaking katabi nya.

so i was really shocked when i recieved a bill from them. so i ask them to cancel it because my first 2 months should be free. pero wala paring nangyare! ang ginawa nila after 7 months hinati hati nila yung free at binawas sa bill ko :(

tapos nag decide ako mag apply for the static IP pero ang sabi nila sakin...
"Sir hindi po kami nag bibigay ng ganung service para sa mga residencial costumers namin" WTF! dapat talaga na dedemanda na tong DIGITEL dahil puro sila mga man loloko! at hindi lang yun! THIS ARE FALSE ADVERTISMENT!

till now hindi ko sya ma pa cut kasi kailangan ko bayaran yung 2 months na termination fee!
bwiset talaga! pinorwisyo ka na babayaran mo pa!

grrrr!

tama mag sara na kau digitel alam nyo ba pina alis ko na ung lenya namin tapos after a month sinisingil kami tang na anu kau hilo meron kaming disconnection order at nagbayad na kami mamatay na kau isa pang naranasan ko ay 1mbs dapat speed namin kaso nagiging 3-9kbps tae ano to. bobo nyo digitel

agree ako sa lahat ng complaints ng tao dito.. badtrip ang digitel.. sobrang money maker... di marunong magpahalaga sa mga tao nagiging dahilan kung bakit nag ooperate pa din kayo kahit na sobrang scrap ang services niyo.. sana i-conquer nalang ng pldt ang lahat ng lugar sa pinas para wala nang digitel dito.. grabe so frustrating ang services niyo.. sobrang congested na nga ng network and yet patuloy pa din kayo sa pagkuha ng mga subrscribers sana naman ayusin niyo muna ang services niyo before kayo mag entertain ng mga new subscribers niyo.. ayusin sana ang relationship sa mga old people na nag patronize sa inyo.. pero decided na ko na ipa cut ang service niyo samen.. sana ganon din ang iba para ma boycott na kayo at malugi na. ng mabawasan na ang nakakairitan internet dito sa pinas.. so scrap!

Dati GLOBE ISP din ako ung WIRED peru ng lumipat kami d2 sa legazpi city wlang globe sa area namin wla ding Bayantel at PLDT. ang available lng DIGITEL ok naman ang globe connection stable din.

Ako Bago lng din sa DIGITEL ISP connection mga Sept 2010 ako nag pakabit ng net 512 kbps peru ung mga tao sa DIGITEL ang na isahan ko kc araw araw ako ng LOGs ng tickets sa services desk nila about sa intermittent connection hangang sa nag-sawa ang technician nilipat ang configuration sa 1MBPS.ung mubilis ang connection.

tama walng kwnta yang digihell na yan naka subcribe ako 2mbps ang nakukuha ko lang ang download nya nasa 5kbps to 7kbps tapos ang page hellow naman 1year bago mag open ang page 2mbps nagiging kb lang nakukuha grabe sobra daya dapat yan kasuhan yan mga mandaraya sa service

i admit! digitel is the worst internet service provider in the world! i despise it, i hate it... they provide the SLOWEST service and connection... im a victim just like you, a filipino citizen here in isabela. i was fooled by their advertisement and their sweet talk about how hey provide fulfilling services and high internet connection. i pay them the right amount but they provide no less than nothing... when i say nothing i mean nothing at all. when i have problems they just listen to my complain but do nothing, their hotline is like a chat tool to those who have lost their souls and keep wandering for help... well i guess they are all money hungry...

Wag na kau mag avail ng services ng digitel... Sobrang pangit ng services nila... From time to time nawawala ang internet connection, pati ang landline terible! Napakaugong! I just wanted to have an internet connection immediately kaya ako nagpakabit sa digitel... But i'm very disppointed sa services nila... Walang wala sila sa pldt (my bf uses pldt kaya I can compare) imagine, first week of april when I first reported my problem with digitel malolos, wala pa din action! Everyday tumatawag ako sa digitel malolos, pag busy ang customer service kahit security guard kinakausap ko para lang maireport at maifollow ang previous reports ko... Just 2day katatawag ko lang ulit sa digitel only to find out na nung april 28 lang daw ako nagawaan ng report! My god! First week of april pa ako nagreport and religiously everyday i've been calling their office for follow up tapoos april 28 lang nai turn over sa technician ang case ko... I don't know kung ngaun ba may mag-aayos ng line ko pero I hope... At sana d na lang ako nagmadali na magka internet para d sana ako napasubo sa digitel! Sobrang nakakainis ang serbisyo nila! Poor service to the max!

Is Digitel ISP serious? As what the internet speed checker said, there is no way that my internet ISP is ADSL! BTW, you can't play anything without disconnecting nor surf the web without reading CANNOT FIND SERVER.

WTF is wrong? It's like dial-up is better than this...poor..thing.

How pathetic is 100kbps below normal?

I could see that many people have complaints bout this, but can the company itself see them? No action of improvement is seen!

If they don't want SmartBro beating them, then could they try Improving their pathetic service?!?!?!

pare-parehas tayo ng problema sa DIGITEL. Plan 777 din ako. Nung una ok pa at pag nagkaproblema, the most na yung two days. Pero nitong nakaraan, almost two weeks bago ayusin ang problema. Pinapalitan lang nila yung report number para siguro mapagtakpan ang pagkukulang nila. Naranasan ko rin na tumawag yung technician at sinabing ginagawa na nya pero imbes na umayos lalo pang pumapalpak. Imagine nagkaka-internet lang ako from 11pm to 5am. Paano magagamit ng estudyante ang ganitong schedule? Palpak na ang service ng DIGIHELL!

naiinis ako dito sa DSl digitel kasi nag aplay kami nang plan 1500.inaasahan namin na maganda ang takbo hindi rin kasi minsan at kadalasan laging bumababa ang speeds saka yun 1500 na binabayaran mo sa digitel hindi ka satisfy kasi pagpunta palang dito yun current na tinatawag nila ay bawas na daw so therefore panglalamang yan sa mag cunsomer na dapat tama at sapat sa kanilang binabayad, dapat tama bakit ganyan, upang masatisfy bilang isang kunsumer, hindi ehh kailangan mo pang tawagan at ireklamo

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] I can't play online games anymore

I subscribed to Digitel Bida Plan 777, the first month was fine because i can play online games even though the video loading in websites such as youtube, metacafe, etc was super slow. But now, on my second month i can't play online games anymore starting 8 am until 11 pm, i always get disconnected from the server. Playing online games was the first reason why i subscribed to a DSL plan. I tried calling Digitel Customer Service Hotline but they just keep telling me the same old story like giving me a reference number and that I should follow it up everyday, ok fine so i'm following it up everyday without taking into consideration my anger. But it's already 7 consecutive days that I cannot play online games anymore. Please do something, am I paying for nothing?

i subscribe for bida 1800 dapat 1mb or more ang makukuha kong speed pero mga 0.30mbs lang ang nakuha ko, , , tapos nung nawalan ako ng conection 3 buwan pa nila ulet bago binalik pangit ang service ng digitel

Attention Digitel Management: NTC is Watching You! I am one of those NTC staff hearing customers complaint.
One of those complaint came from an Internet shop owner subscribe to Plan 2200 for 2 Mbps service however
the signal they are getting is only 1 mbps and more complaints are like this mostly from Internet shop owners.
Just a warning to Digitel, that we might revoke their license their operate if they did not improve their
services natonnwide.

Hehehe... Bida pala ah, , , Baka Contra Bida ang DSL nyo hehe. Sa tingin ko ok naman facilities nila kaso lang mga mga technician na nag mmaintain ang hindi marunong, napapansin ko lang... Kasi wala ng ibang magawa reset ng pareset lang ng modem ang plaging gawa hahahah katawa. Wala na ba kayong ibang alam ng pag ayos ng network kung reset reset lang ng modem, bulok naman na modem yan:) Kahit pa sabihin nila na dynamic IP yan, kunga maganda pakaroute nila di na kelangan pa reset reset pa ng modem. O kaya palitan nalang ng mas magandang modem, parang nag ooverheat eh.. parang mga ulo ng mga customer nyo. Overheat na sa pagkunsume hahaha... CONTA BIDA DSL nga kayo... Pag naayos nyo serbisyo nyo babawiin ko sinabi ko hahahhaha...

Yan Totoo yan... Pina disconnect ko na Digitel DSL ko kasi ang hina ng serbisyo... Niloloko lang nila ang mag clients nila... Pati mag techinician nila hindi marunong. akala ko noong una may problema na ang LOPTOP ko im also using DSL provided by DIGITEL (Plan 999) first week is good, the next week is i got only 54kbps from what they said is 512 kbps and now i got almost 2kbps hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko i tried to apply on PLDT pero sabi nila wala pa sila line dito sa lugar namin kaya tiis na lang ako kung kailan ako swertehin na magka-signal sana naman magising na ang mga taga DIGITEL "DI kayo TEL ng totoo"

We have the same problem every month i pay 1.5k and 1.5mbps then cant play online games kaya ako nag apply pra makalaro lng ng online games d2 sa house ko pero ang pangit ng digitel kaya papaputol ko na kahit sa youtube aabot ng 30 mins bago matapos mag buff and sa movie halos 2 hrs sobrang bagal anu ba problem bat ganun sa digitel nasisira lng sila sa ginagawa nila

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] poor digitel landline/dsl service

Digitel has a very poor service. We are subscribed in Digitel Telephone line with ADSL service. We have reported a service disruption due to no dial tone/noisy telephone line. The problem went on for 7 months. When their technicians finally found the problem they suddenly suspended their service (as in no internet and no outgoing calls.) They were claiming that we have to pay the outstanding bills of P10300. Our monthly bill is P1200 which means their billing did not adjust the bills accordingly. The 7 month service disruption was not deducted from the outstanding. I don't know how this can help me. But I hope somebody else has the same case and has the power to sue...

sir december 2013 ng magtapos po ang aking termino bilang Punong BArangay at bago po ako bumaba sa pwesto makailang ulit po naming nakausap ang inyong mga technician dahil wala ng koneksyon sa amin subalit hindi po nagwadng mapuntahan at macheck sa hindi po bnamin malamang dahilan hanggang mabalitaan po namin na binili na ng PLDT an g digitel at ginawa pa naming pumunta sa opisina ng digitel para muling ipaalam ang sitwasyon subalit nagsara na ang inyong opisina hanggang lumipas na ang maraming buwan at taon at noong nakaraang mga buwan ng august 2015 nalaman ko na may bills na dumating at dahil dun pilit naming tinatawagan ang inyong telephone wala namang sumasagot maging at ng minsan ako ay maka swerte na may makausap sa inyong linya subalit wala ring malinaw na katugunan sa aking mga katanungan hanggang mawalas na ang aking kausap sa kabilang linya. nais ko po sana malinawan ang mga katanungan kung bakit patuloy parin may dumarating na billing sa amin?

bakit patuloy pa po ang ang pagdating ng bills sa brgy 7, daet, camarines norte since we are complaioning that i m no longer a barangay captain of the said brgy and before i step down being a brgy chairman we are complaining that the line connecting in our barangay are not yet functional and your personnel said that he trying to rehabilitate but unfortunately until the digitel take over by the PLDT the connection of digitel resulting hanging or unconnected. and due to continues billings from your office i am going to your office to inform our inquiries but the guard tell me that your office are no longer operated more than a year.

Dear PLDT-DIGITEL,

We have requested to discontinue our Digitel phone accounts due to poor line service (disruption, static noises, no dial tone for weeks) and poor handling of customer complaints.

We have relayed our intention to discontinue service thru our local Digitel Office in Bicol after November 2012. The phone service was disconnected (no more tone/calling service) but the monthly SOA continued to be sent. We were advised to wait for the adjustment billing since Digitel is in transition due to the acquisition by PLDT. We were informed of the same predicament each time we went to Digitel after every monthly billing being sent. Around April 2013, the Digitel office closed and we were redirected to SUN Cellular Office.

We went to the SUN Office, we were also advised the same thing - to wait for the adjustment reflecting the discontinuance since our request from December 2012. We were informed that they were experiencing major technical problems due to unserviceable old network and billing adjustment problems due to the migration of Digitel accounts to PLDT. We were asked to wait again and again and again. This was almost six months ago.

When we still received the Digitel-August 2013 SOA, we decided to go directly and express our complaint to Digitel. Due to no access to a PLDT line or any form of landline (we were dedicated Digitel clients), we tried the following ways to contact Digitel as relayed in their website and Digitel - "What's New"-TALK TO US section. Here’s where a host of other problems caused us alarm as a consumer, these are the results:

1) WEBSITE www.digitel.ph/talktous NOT FOUND - The page just showed this: Not Found - The requested URL /content/view/38/46/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

2) DIGITEL-HOMEPAGE-SUPPORT SECTION-CUSTOMER SERVICE HOTLINE DOES NOT SEND - We tried sending our complaint letter 5x and 5x the following window message appears: “The page at lec.digitel.ph says: System error/No mailing list and/or Autoresponder found.

3) EMAIL customerservice@digitel@digitel.ph DOES NOT ACCEPT EMAIL SENT – We sent our complaint and an email was sent saying this: “This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed customerService@digitel.ph

4) SENDING “DG REG” TO MOBILE [protected] (for other networks) NO RESPONSE/REPLY - We tried to register by sending said text to the number indicated for other networks and still got no response until now. We tried calling that number it just blink out on us - no ringing no nothing.

5) 177 (migrated to PLDT) NO PLDT IN OUR AREAS

6) DIGITEL LANDLINE - BUSINESS CENTERS - CLOSED

7) SUN SHOP IN OUR AREA INCAPABLE OF ANSWERING BILLING COMPLAINT

In Digitel’s SOA, it says there: “Please examine your SOA for any errors. If no error is reported to Digitel Hotline 1200 within 45 days from statement date, the SOA will be considered conclusively correct and final.”

The danger is that they are legally binding all Digitel customers to this obligation and yet the prescribed ways to contact them to report errors or complaints are NON-EXISTENT, A CHARADE. All those seven instances to supposedly “contact Digitel” repeatedly showcase “bad faith” towards their obligation to the ordinary consumer, a company which PLDT have acquired since October 2011.

We believe in PLDT. As much as we want to migrate our plan, it is not available for Bicol, yet. In the meantime, we would like to see how PLDT handle these problems and extend the promise they made, as follows:

“In October 2011, PLDT acquired Digitel from JG Summit holdings, vowing to continue providing Digitel’s customers best value in terms of price, quality, and range of products and services. PLDT's acquisition of Digitel ensured that Digitel remains in good hands, as Digitel stands to benefit from PLDT’s extensive infrastructure and diverse service offerings.” (see http://www.suncellular.com.ph/about_us.php)

Please look into these matters. We are not alone (see Digitel — poor digitel landline/dsl service) in our predicament. We believe in PLDT's promise and are awaiting your immediate action on our complaint.

saan ba may pinakamalapit na digitel office dito sa san jose del monte, bulacan? sarado na yung sa sta. maria. kasi naman nagbabayad kami ng bill ng internet service sa sm fairview mall pero hindi naman nagrereflect sa monthly billing statement kaya lumalaki o nag a-accumulate ang bayarin na actually bayad na. ano ba yan? hindi nyo ba ina-update records nyo?

Since may 8, our landline was DEAD and reported it to the customer service thru email, a system generated reply was sent to m with a promise that within 24 to 48 hrs it will be okey coz they are working on it.. Everyday i used to follow up but until now, no action has been taken by DIGITEL. ecxept for the usual system generated reply. I wonder if DIGITEL still exist?

I second the motion to your complain. similar case, almost everyday din ako making calls to them, yet Worldwide problem whenever I called and transferred to the technician.ulit ulit na ganun.sayang ang subscription ko sa dsl connection.they don't stop asking for the monthly payment. and internet service naman, nagwork after 4 months then now, 2 month na kong walang internet connection yet bayad naman ako ng bayad.Grrrr!

tumawag ako sa hotline noon upang mafollow up sa sta rosa ang problema, nung hinihingi ko ang name at report number ayaw ibigay sa akin, nang magtungo ako sa sta rosa office hiningi sakin ang report number sbi ko ayaw ibigay nung nakausap ko, sbi karapatan ko daw yun n kunin e ano magagawa ko ayaw nga ibigay sakin, tinalikuran ako ng tauhan ng digitel at di na lumabas ng opisina. napakagaling ng customer service nyo. mabuhay kayo digitel, kumikita kayo ng walang ibinibigay n magandang serbisyo samin. ang kawangis nyo ay mga buwaya ng gobyerno.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] scam, false advertisement

I inquire to a digitel business center here in Taytay, they have this promo Ads Bida it clearly stated there that you need only four requirement Proof of Biling, valid ID, 500 installation fee and one month deposit. So I apply and fill up a form in front of their employee who guide me, she ask me question about the location where I want the telephone to be installed, I tolded her its rented and were using it for business and thats it, we presume we did okay since their requirement are simple, the next day a certain supervisor and an employee visited us in the shop, an onsite visit after looking around they ask for the requirements a proof of billing and two valid ID all photo copied now a problem occur since the meralco bill is still in the original Tenant's name, the supervisor ask me to acquire a barangay clearance so I can use the bill statement for the requirement, then he ask me for the payment, since he has a receipt as he stated. where glad since he ask for payment we presume that we met their requirements and we only lack a barangay clearance which I have acquired and have submitted to them. So we did pay and was promised a telephone after two to three days, the next day an employee of digitel call, now his doing a CI he tod me I'm lacking a TIN since my place is a business which did not came up on two events, inquiry and application and on the onsite visit. I told the employee that no one have told me that I need a TIN to apply and it's not on their advertisement. I ask him why telling me this now after I have paid, I thought we already passed and was already promised an installation, after that I text the one who done the onsight and reply he look into it. After a day he text me demand to bring the barangay clearance to their office so that the phone can be installed the following day, we did, but days pass by with no phone, then a lady call from digitel, now we lack two contact person and ask us to settle the meralco bill which we did and supply them with two contact person, but still of no lack still no phone. I finally decided to call them up and check for the status, they said they have not receive the requirements. Something smell fishy. Will they pay for my money's interest, now I know why they demand for payment right away!

Actually same incident happened to me as in same story...Nakakaloka nga yang digitel e! Di ko din maintindihan yung policy nla pag dating s application. Ang dami daming hinihingi pero nung una 3 lng na requirements ang hininhi s akin...later on ang dami n nilang idinadagdag. Pag-tumawag k s CS nla tatanungin mo, wla din nman maisagot. lagi n lang sinasabi gagawa sila ng report, araw- araw biruin mo tumatawag ako tapos araw araw din sila gumagawa ng report? tpos tatanungin ka nila " Is that all your concern Mam"..di b nakakainis? di namn nla nasagot yung una mong concern tpos tatanungin ka nila kung may corncern p?...BULOK talaga yang Digitel...wlang kwenta!

Yes this is true, my plan is 1800 dapat 1.5 mb sabi ng agent ng magpa-install ako pero ngayon recorded sa digitel scam office 1 mb lang laging lugi ko sa digitel scam. ito ang masakit 256 kbps lang palagi ang default setting ng modem ko scam talaga sila. dito me sa Gen. Trias, Cavite, kung gusto ninyong makita ang default speed sa modem ito ang ip ng modem 192.168.1.1 makikita ninyo dito sa ang maximum speed ng internet connection ninyo.

Digitel dsl internet connection really suck ! alwasy sila promise punta sa house pra connect my mom computer pro hindi naman sila pumupunta, scammer ay naku mag 1 months na wala pa connectin ng mom ko pina pa refund ko nalng pera nya .. sa SMART 3 days lang may connection na at better connection my friends using SMART ... but my mom went again to the office pro ayaw nila bigay refund money nya kasi raw i co connect na sya mamaya then hindi na naman sila pumunta ay naku SUCKs sila kakahiya ...

dude, hindi dapat ganun. well good for you if you're getting what you've been paying, pero it does not mean na if a number of people gets the service they need from the fact that everyone should get it also and then digitel will say that the problem is only concentrated in that area and will eventually consider the excuse to save their motherf***ing ### from providing equal quality service to their customers is not right. kasi yun lagi ang sinasabi nila, na within our area lang ang problem na nirereklamo ko. eh goddamn. parang binabalik lang nila sakin yung problema, theyre not doing anything to solve the problem but to only point the blame to the customers of that area. ### nga eh. remember, pag kayo nagbibigay ng serbisyo, wala dapat difference ang quality at effort na binibigay niyo sa mga customers, dapat lahat walang problema. yung kaso mo naman na over charging, siguro na huli ka lang ng bayad sa cutoff kaya na dagdag lang yung last month's pay po sa current month, well ieexplain naman nun nung customer service, hmm, commendable tong customer service nila about sa bills nila pati payment, sabagay, ito kasing service na to eh tungkol sa profit nila kaya siguro maganda ang service. haha. WTF. napahaba na tuloy, tangina. one of these days sa sobrang banas ko, mag aapply ako bilang operations manager nila at sisibakin ko lahat ng tarantadong ulupong na hindi nagpeperform to meet the standards of my valued customers. tangina, ganon ako magiging dedicated sa inyo digitel! binili lang ata kayo ng pldt to serve their minor markets eh ###. well even if minor markets lang ang kinecater ng subsidiaring company na to ng pldt eh siyempre, every customer wants to feel that they are valued through the service that they're receiving and eventually, they'll not be wearing their sorry f*** face look when they'll be paying their bills for a service which the whole time was only a weekly report from us customers for things to improve on by digitel, ano to libreng organization intervention, haha. I am subscribe to digitel plan 1Mbps with landline (plan 1199) i have no complaint regarding my internet connection. I am using the 1Mbps to download (with speed of 90-140kbps) and stream media on youtube and facebook as well. For some reasons i think our concerned has been address and MIGHT be, your problem is ONLY concentrated on area's where there are too many DSL subscribers using it in the same time.

Some of my complaints in digitel include :
*double sending a bill (reprinted bill)
*over charging
other than that, i have no problems with them. cal 1200 for fast transaction and... dude... YELL at them... so they will start moving their ###. As for me, I am a satisfied customer...

akin 2mbps 100 kb lng ang max dwnload speed. same din ang responds nila they are under going technical problem within our vicinity. e newly apply lng to sana bago nila kabitan sinabi muna nila mas ma bilis pa ata globe wimax ko wew. then just wanna share after matapos ng line man kabitan ung application ko for digitel dsl 2mbps bigla n ln sila ng laho no conformation no any thing dami ko pa sana itatanong like there customer service hotline and etc. like speed. i contacted customer service thru digitel website but after 3-4 days someone called regarding nga sa na email ko but " they are not technical staff but rather a subcon marketing agent who alures u to experiences digitel net services.. wat a crap is this?

To Whom it May Concern:

Greetings in the name of the LORD, All statement is true.
I am writing to express my displeasure on service dealing with DIGITEL DSL. We avail this through a sales person from digitel offering us the promos for this plan, through good marketing strategy the sales person inform us how good the DSL SERVICE digitel has and how fast they can give their subscriber and the enjoyment of good service. We believed on the good service the digitel can give us, “IM NOT GETTING MORE FOR WHAT I PAYING FOR”! of your internet, because we are not satisfied well to your service and although your agents will not prioritize our problem.
Last September 21, 2011 I applied for Pure DSL 1.0mbps php988 at the same time the amount of php500 for the installation and after 2 days Mr.Voltaire Callo ask for another 1 month deposit php988 for faster installation, he told us that after 3-5 days the internet will be installed but it was only installed after 1 week for many reasons dated on September, 28, 2011 without configuration .On September 29, 2011 one of your technician visit us to configured our system after that as we use our internet connection were not suppose to browse until October 6, 2011 we can’t use our internet connection if you were going to browse it takes a long time to wait. I texted your agents to asks for the problem that I was experience, I didn’t receive any reply from him and it make me FOOL to think what happen to my connection, and your service numb! And deaf! To my concern. That’s why, last October 8, 2011 I decided to visit to your nearest office to complain your poor services and still it is no PROGRESS. I directly go to your customer service for the assistance but in some manners they told me that problem is nationwide connection internet problem started last September 26, 2011. I’m shock! Because they are not informed me. Last Saturday I’ll call your agent Voltaire Callo and he told us that the internet connection is okay and it was function well and I try to browse but it feel insulting because it still worst! No internet connection at all! I don’t know who can I trusted because your agent Mr. Callo and your customer service office is have difference reasons in regards to the connection problem.
According to your agent he mentioned that it is okay to rebate and permanent disconnect our internet without any amount to be paid and our bill is not yet started because I can’t used it at all time. He can also the one to tell us to visit into your good office with the presence of the MODEM for termination. Due to that problem I’ll rather choose to load my GLOBE TATTOO stick just to access internet, it is better to use this because its takes 150kbps but it is fastest compare to your digitel dsl 1.0mbps.
Yesterday October 10, 2011 I came to your office to ask your connection is now function but your customer service told me that the problem was resume last Saturday night. I can NO LONGER stay to your network, since the customers are not treated well by the DIGITEL.

I am writing to express my displeasure on service dealing with DIGITEL DSL. We avail this through a sales person from digitel offering us the promos for this plan, through good marketing strategy the sales person inform us how good the DSL SERVICE digitel has and how fast they can give their subscriber and the enjoyment of good service. We believed on the good service the digitel can give us, “IM NOT GETTING MORE FOR WHAT I PAYING FOR”! of your internet, because we are not satisfied well to your service and although your agents will not prioritize our problem.
Last September 21, 2011 I applied for Pure DSL 1.0mbps php988 at the same time the amount of php500 for the installation and after 2 days Mr.Voltaire Callo ask for another 1 month deposit php988 for faster installation, he told us that after 3-5 days the internet will be installed but it was only installed after 1 week for many reasons dated on September, 28, 2011 without configuration .On September 29, 2011 one of your technician visit us to configured our system after that as we use our internet connection were not suppose to browse until October 6, 2011 we can’t use our internet connection if you were going to browse it takes a long time to wait. I texted your agents to asks for the problem that I was experience, I didn’t receive any reply from him and it make me FOOL to think what happen to my connection, and your service numb! And deaf! To my concern. That’s why, last October 8, 2011 I decided to visit to your nearest office to complain your poor services and still it is no PROGRESS. I directly go to your customer service for the assistance but in some manners they told me that problem is nationwide connection internet problem started last September 26, 2011. I’m shock! Because they are not informed me. Last Saturday I’ll call your agent Voltaire Callo and he told us that the internet connection is okay and it was function well and I try to browse but it feel insulting because it still worst! No internet connection at all! I don’t know who can I trusted because your agent Mr. Callo and your customer service office is have difference reasons in regards to the connection problem.
According to your agent he mentioned that it is okay to rebate and permanent disconnect our internet without any amount to be paid and our bill is not yet started because I can’t used it at all time. He can also the one to tell us to visit into your good office with the presence of the MODEM for termination. Due to that problem I’ll rather choose to load my GLOBE TATTOO stick just to access internet, it is better to use this because its takes 150kbps but it is fastest compare to your digitel dsl 1.0mbps.

NASA LAW OF ACCOUNTING po yan .. baket mo babayaran kung bomba naman ang isp diba.. lalo na yang digitel.. hayup talaga ang putang inang digitel na yan, pag magpapakabit ka ang babait ng putang inang costumer service, pg nakabit at magrereklamo ka eh binabalewala k n ng mga putang inang mga yan. manloloko p, mahal n mahal ng binabayad monthly eh super bagal naman, mabilis pa dial up. ipacucut ko na akin kahit 1 araw pa lang namin ngagamit. mga buwaya ang digitel

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] dsl speed

I've been a DIGITELONE DSL subscriber for almost 2 years now. I have been paying for the advertise DSL speed of 256 KBPS. I never, during the last two years reach that speed yet. The fastest that I got was 220 KBPS. Sometimes I was getting below 120 KBPS. When I complained to the one of the service centers, I was told that 220 is the average speed that customers with a 256 contract are getting. If that is the case, they should not advertise for the 256 KBPS. It is false advertising. There should be a law that pertains to "truth in advertising". Also, whenever I have service interruptions, the monthly payments were not adjusted/pro-rated. Sometimes, it takes more than two weeks to get my internet connection back.

I'm planning to quit digitel since tpos n contract ko s knila pero i want to know kung sino n nkapgtry ng mgandang broadband kesa dito s wlang kwentang digitel. hindi lng dsl apektado s kin pti landline ko. tpos adjustment nila khit mwlan k ng connection ng mhigit 2 linggo is 83 pesos lng. kapal ng mukha ng digitel. sawang sawa n ko s mga wlang kwneta nyong customer service, bgal umaksyon. pero s mga billing, ang bibilis mgremind. eto speed ko ngayon s speedtest---download speed ko is .06 mbps, upload is .15 mbps.. ang plan ko is 512 kbps. ok lng khit mbagal wg lng paputol putol. mbilis p ung smart bro ng kpitbahay ko. plug in lng un.

Madami ng customer ang di na bumalik dahil sa napakabagal na connection. Lugi na ko sa totoo lang, dating dynamic ang connection ko 1mbps, pina upgrade ko sa 2.5 mbps para bumilis kasi di na ko makapag download ng mga mp3 songs, Ngayon maniwala kayo at sa hindi 50 kbps lang natatanggap ko . halos araw- araw akong tumatawag wala namang nangyayari. PUMUNTA NA KO SA DIGITEL DASMA PARA I REQUEST NA IPALIPAT SA IBANG PORT, NAILIPAT NA PERO BAKIT GANUN MABAGAL PA DIN? SIRANG- SIRA NA KO SA MGA CUSTOMER KO, AYUSIN NYO NAMAN SERBISYO NYO.

3 years na computer shop ko. hangggang ngayon walang improvement. nagpa upgrade na ko sa 2.5mbps, pero 50 kbps lang natatanggap ko, ano bang klaseng connection ang digitel na to. walang silbi at mabagal umaksiyon. dapat siguro magsara na sila dahil maraming naluluging computer shop dito sa gma cavite

POT@NG IN@NG digitel yan ang bagal ng dsl nyo sa hapon mabagal kahit sa madaling araw di makapag DL sa youtube sa 4mins na kanta 30mins ko pa iDDL t@ng iN@ nyo wala pa kwenta service nyo, ang sabi pa nyo pang mga puT@NG ina nyo mag pa upgrade kame magdagdag kme ng mnthly ng 200php pra dagdagan ang speed put@ng ina nyo walang pagbabago lagi pang sira tpos ung modem na pnalit nyo bulok! yabang nyo pa pnag yayabang ang new modem nyo na triple A everytime na mag oopen ng PC nid pa i connect tang ina nyo lagi nga nwawalang ng connection every 1hr eh tang ina nyo tlga mag sara na kau wala kwenta company nyo basura!

From December 31, 2009 up to now! January 14, 2010 on and off na DSL connection naming as in every 30 secs to 1 minute, everyday tumatawag kami sa customer service everyday nagtro troubleshoot. Walang kwenta!
Ang request lang naming is every 12 hours call back ang customer service for the status, at least malalan naming na may nangyayari! Eh kaso Walang kwenta! Dapat siguro ang sahod niyo based on call eh para di kayo puro tsismisan!
May technicians naman na pumunta sabi nasa box nila ang problem and less than 100 ang affected, ang tanong eh kelan maaayos?! At least magbigay sana ng time frame kung ilang taon pa bago maayos, eh kaso Walang kwenta!
May tumawag namang engineer kuno! Taena sinabi pa taga goldilocks at taga pangpangga daw kami? Ok na daw? Walang kwenta!
Ilang beses din na na-closed yung issue namin pero di naman kami nagconfirm? Sagot naman ng customer service automatic daw na nagclo- closed, kasi yung engineer ang nagco confirm, taena talagang Walang kwenta!

I would like to complain about the very poor service that Digitel is offering, aside from lacking of technicians, they act so late. secondly is the fact that I subscribed for a 1mbps connection and i don\'t even get atleast 1.0mbps everyday. I think in business we have to be straight about the service we could offer to the client. If they can only give like 700kbps, they should have not offered a 1mbps plan. Filipinos aren\'t stupid. they have this exclusive site wherein we could test the internet speed and wow, they could give us a result of 1.3mpbs, but the thing is, it\'s not really accurate. I was an online teacher and my company has this site where we could test the internet connection and from 1.3mbps that digitel site told me what was my internet speed, it turned out that i only have 234kbps for download and 128kbps for upload. we don\'t deserve this as we pay for a thousand every month..and everyone can use this site.http://helper.tutorabc.com/BandwidthTesting/Bandwidth_Detect.html

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] bad service, lowering plan speed

Signed up for Digitel Plan Bida 1232 with Bandwith of 832Kbps. I am a retired networking specialist so I always keep a check through my router to see what the company is doing to my speed settings. Every month they drop my speed lower, I call a friend at the company to complain, who chews them out over it, and they straighten it out for a couple of weeks then they set me right back to a lower speed again. I am tired of paying for 832Kbps and then finding out through my router they have changed the settings at the company to only 128Kbps and only 59 Kbps upload speed (dialup speed). I wonder how they would feel if they went to market to buy meat and paid for 832 kilo but were only getting 128 kilo of meat each purchase. I am not talking about speedtest results, but the subscriber settings set at the companies DSLAM and other servers regulating subscriber internet speed.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone [PLDT] digitel internet speed is temporary

It never ends! They gave me five months of (almost) problem free connection. After complaining for the whole month of may... Took me 47 calls (1800-[protected]) and some 30 more calls to our local provincial help desks which there are 4!... That amount of effort in 30 days!... Finally paid for a fairly good connection for the months jun, jul, aug, sept and october!

5 months after... (nov.3, 2008) my seemingly good connection expired?!... It's like "ok, he's had enough... Let him begggg for it again!"

What's happening digitel? I've called numerous times the local desks and they've been exceptionally accommodating... Thanks to them... But I don't need phonepals (shoot me!)...

You have proven many times you can make my connection the way it should be (what I pay for)... Why can't you just let it be?... Why do I need to call when I need a speedy net... Fix for a day or two and back to slow again? You are driving me nuts with your temporary solution to my problem... Can"t you fix it once and for all? I know you can... Just like you've done 5 mos. Ago and years before!

I hate smartbro and you can't make me transfer to them... You should be thankful for that... And you can show me how thankful you are by fixing my problem...

I'm not asking for a rebate this time... Just give me what i'm supposed to be paying for! You can have my money if that's what you really cared about!... But, fix my connection!... And i'm not saying please!

Please provide as much information as possible...
Dear PLDT-DIGITEL,

We have requested to discontinue our Digitel phone accounts due to poor line service (disruption, static noises, no dial tone for weeks) and poor handling of customer complaints.

We have relayed our intention to discontinue service thru our local Digitel Office in Bicol after November 2012. The phone service was disconnected (no more tone/calling service) but the monthly SOA continued to be sent. We were advised to wait for the adjustment billing since Digitel is in transition due to the acquisition by PLDT. We were informed of the same predicament each time we went to Digitel after every monthly billing being sent. Around April 2013, the Digitel office closed and we were redirected to SUN Cellular Office.

We went to the SUN Office, we were also advised the same thing - to wait for the adjustment reflecting the discontinuance since our request from December 2012. We were informed that they were experiencing major technical problems due to unserviceable old network and billing adjustment problems due to the migration of Digitel accounts to PLDT. We were asked to wait again and again and again. This was almost six months ago.

When we still received the Digitel-August 2013 SOA, we decided to go directly and express our complaint to Digitel. Due to no access to a PLDT line or any form of landline (we were dedicated Digitel clients), we tried the following ways to contact Digitel as relayed in their website and Digitel - "What's New"-TALK TO US section. Here’s where a host of other problems caused us alarm as a consumer, these are the results:

1) WEBSITE www.digitel.ph/talktous NOT FOUND - The page just showed this: Not Found - The requested URL /content/view/38/46/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

2) DIGITEL-HOMEPAGE-SUPPORT SECTION-CUSTOMER SERVICE HOTLINE DOES NOT SEND - We tried sending our complaint letter 5x and 5x the following window message appears: “The page at lec.digitel.ph says: System error/No mailing list and/or Autoresponder found.

3) EMAIL customerservice@digitel@digitel.ph DOES NOT ACCEPT EMAIL SENT – We sent our complaint and an email was sent saying this: “This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed customerService@digitel.ph

4) SENDING “DG REG” TO MOBILE [protected] (for other networks) NO RESPONSE/REPLY - We tried to register by sending said text to the number indicated for other networks and still got no response until now. We tried calling that number it just blink out on us - no ringing no nothing.

5) 177 (migrated to PLDT) NO PLDT IN OUR AREAS

6) DIGITEL LANDLINE - BUSINESS CENTERS - CLOSED

7) SUN SHOP IN OUR AREA INCAPABLE OF ANSWERING BILLING COMPLAINT

In Digitel’s SOA, it says there: “Please examine your SOA for any errors. If no error is reported to Digitel Hotline 1200 within 45 days from statement date, the SOA will be considered conclusively correct and final.”

The danger is that they are legally binding all Digitel customers to this obligation and yet the prescribed ways to contact them to report errors or complaints are NON-EXISTENT, A CHARADE. All those seven instances to supposedly “contact Digitel” repeatedly showcase “bad faith” towards their obligation to the ordinary consumer, a company which PLDT have acquired since October 2011.

We believe in PLDT. As much as we want to migrate our plan, it is not available for Bicol, yet. In the meantime, we would like to see how PLDT handle these problems and extend the promise they made, as follows:

“In October 2011, PLDT acquired Digitel from JG Summit holdings, vowing to continue providing Digitel’s customers best value in terms of price, quality, and range of products and services. PLDT's acquisition of Digitel ensured that Digitel remains in good hands, as Digitel stands to benefit from PLDT’s extensive infrastructure and diverse service offerings.” (see http://www.suncellular.com.ph/about_us.php)

Please look into these matters. We are not alone (see Digitel — poor digitel landline/dsl service) in our predicament. We believe in PLDT's promise and are awaiting your immediate action on our complaint. Thank you!

I HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO DIGITEL-BIDA PLAN 999 LAST SEPT. UNTIL THIS VERY DAY, MY TELEPHONE LINE WAS NOT YET OKAY. THE VERY FIRST TIME THEY INSTALLED THE LINE IT WAS TRANSPOSED TO ANOTHER NUMBER THEN, 3 WEEKS AGO AND UNTIL NOW, IT HAS NO DIAL TONE...

sobra naman po talaga nangyayari .. nagbabayad naman kami ng maayos hh tapos ganito lang mapapala namin.. paki lang nman po ayosin nyo service nyo.. magbabayaran nnman ng net .. halos hindi nman nagagamit hay naku... kakasawa lang tumawag sa inyo walang nasagot .. mag announce or mag update naman kau kung anu nangyayari.. ANUNG GUSTO NYO BAYAD LANG KAMI..♀♀♀ hays

grabe tlga sir ... ayusin nyo nman po ung net connection mag iisang linggo ng ganito d nman masyadong naapektuhan ng bagyo ang cavite ..pero bkt gnito mas malala pa tayo sa nabaha.. ako nakakatiis pa sa mga nangyayari .. pero d ko lang alam sa mga may com.shop.. malamang galit na galit na sila.. paki ayos nalang po sir/mam thanks

grabe sobrang bagal ng internet connection d2 samin sa GMA Cavite gamit namin DIGITEL... ilang beses ko ng tinawag sa call center nila halos araw-araw hangang ngayon mag 3 wiks na ganon pa rin wla man lng nagbago...super BAGAL NG INTERNET CONNECTION DOWLOAD SPEED SPEEDTES: 0.13 UPLOAD SPEED 0.02 BAD! 2.5 CONNECTION NAMIN TAPOS ITO LNG SPEED NMIN. ganito din sa globe.. 10 years na kmi subscriber ng globe.. lintek yan.. puro service restoration.. mga bobo call center lagi ang tga sagot ng tawag ng costumer.. mga madapak[censored] kayo.. taena nyo globe.. leche.. wala kayong kwenta.. ang laking abala nyo..
