Cheapoair / not existing flight with non existing seats

We paid for the flight and upgraded seats. The flight was cancelled along with the seats. There is no way to return the money. Contacted customer service several times. The message says that the waiting time is 15 sec. In reality, they put you on hold for 30 minutes or so. They refused to transfer you to supervisor. Never got the money back regardless of the promise to process the refund 1. Whiting 48 hours. 2. On certain date. 2. On another certain date and another... Total fraud. Selling nothing but exactly what they advertised: AIR, AIR and AIR but NOT CHEAP AIR!!! Contacted executives of the company. No difference. The so called VP of Customer Service selling AIR give you the promise to refund the money but leave you with the AIR and nothing else.

    The customer had tickets on United airlines, and they had a change in their operations. This caused the customer to lose the original seats he had requested. When he contacted us, we requested a refund from the airline on his behalf. It does take time to receive the refund from the airline due to the accounting process they have, but we did complete his request for a refund, and case is closed.

    Dear but not so dear CheapOair Customer Care. We have never ever bought tickets for United through your company . You sold us tickets for LOT. This is a Polish airline and has nothing to do with the American airline. Now, you put the dirt of so called accounting process of LOT on the United that has nothing to do with our booking. There is no surprise. This is the response from the people listing here: https://www.elliott.org/company-contacts/fareportal/ -

    "Generally when an airline cancels a flight thief seat assignment fees are non-refundable."

    The question is who is the thief in this situation? Of course it is not you or LOT. It is me who booked the seat or the United that never mentioned in the booking. And this the answer from so called "Global Vice President Customer Excellence " (yes, "excellence") saying "We are processing the refund today", We never ever got our money back. I guess we have to contact the United now. Such a fraud!!!
