CheapOair Planning to change my ticket or atleast refund for my bookings

I need to change my ticket to May/June 2023...But My ticket is valid for one year, which is March 2023 and also non refundable. I checked with gulf air they said it depends on the agent policy and nothing to do with airlines. Please help me in changing the dates to May/June or atleast half of my amount

Airlines said its only upto agent policy to do it for any necessary changes. atleast help me to get my amount half of them and How can i leave my amount as such.

We are booking through agent only to make life easier and they will do. This has become a painful job now, If i would have booked through airlines they would have given something back.

I am not coming back again to agent for my booking and this is my last time

CheapOair Ticketing

Our Booking #[protected]. Purchased seats for our trip & received confirmation that our seats were approved by United. United did not have these seat assignments & my wife & I had to sit in different rows during our 9 hr flight from Barcelona to Wash DC on 9-19-22. I was required to sit in a middle seat which was not what I signed up for. Our seat assignments on Flight UA991 were 17D & 20E instead of the purchased seats of 24K & 24H. We paid $196 for the seat assignments. I want this amount refunded & some corresponding credit for the inconvenience.

CheapOair cancelled trip

My trip was cancelled due to weather. I tried to rebook, however Cheapoair has not been accommodating. I paid them nearly $2600 for a trip and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I would like a full refund immediately and or a full credit so that I can rebook it myself.

CheapOair Service not received

Bought flights to travel to Australia in September 2020 with my daughter.

Flights were cancelled due to Covid.

CheapOair offered a credit and advised Carolina to call when ready.

Australia opened international borders in February 2022.

Carolina called to rebook, but CheapOair said they are not able to rebook and advised her to call the airline.

Desired outcome: A full refund as no service by CheapOair has been provided.

CheapOair Boarding denied in Nairobi transit point

I hereby request my ticket's refund. Ticket No. [protected] from August 20, 2022 (Annex 1), for the trip Kinshasa-Nairobi-New York-Toronto scheduled for September 3 to 4, 2022 and of which I only made the trip from Kinshasa-Nairobi.

In fact, the trip from Kinshasa to Nairobi by Kenya Airways flight N0 555 on September 3, 2022, had been normal. All documents having been duly checked in Kinshasa, as shown on my boarding pass (Annex 2). However, in Nairobi, the check-in agents refused to board me on flight No 788 from Nairobi to New York Kennedy. According to them, the United States requires passengers in transit on its soil to either have a vaccine that is for least 14 days or a negative COVID-19 test. They required me to retake a second COVID-19 test even though I still had a valid test done in the DRC, my country of origin (Appendix 3). After receiving the test result from Nairobi, I was informed that my flight had already taken off.

Without respecting passenger rights, Kenya Airways left me stranded alone without accommodation or basic passenger Care. The Kenya Airways agents instructed to stay within the Jomo Kenyatta airport for 63 long hours at my own expense; which was uncomfortable and unplanned until the next flight which was scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Since my academic classes were starting on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 22 at La Cite, Le College d’Arts appliquees et de Technologie, and I was in danger of losing my seat if I arrived after the exact date stipulated in the attached acceptance letter (Appendix 4). Therefore, I had to urgently purchase another ticket to Toronto, Canada, my final destination (Appendix 5).

In this regard, I am requesting for a partial reimbursement which I had also presented in person to the Kenya Airways Agency in Kinshasa on Monday, September 5, 2022. The latter referred me to its general management in Nairobi, which in turn recommended that I contact your CheapOair Agency, as I am doing now.

Therefore, considering that Kenya Airways had duly checked and approved all my travel documents, if they were any irregularities in the first place, the boarding in Kinshasa would have been denied considering that my COVID-19 test carried out in Kinshasa was negative and still valid. As such, Kenya Airways and its CheapOair agency must jointly and effectively reimburse me for the above-mentioned ticket from Nairobi-New York-Toronto as well as the inconvenience caused.

Desired outcome: Please refund the part of my ticket that wasn't used (Nairobi-New York - Toronto)

CheapOair Refund not received two years and counting

I was promised a refund of my flight tickets to Nicaragua in February 2019 after my flight was cancelled. I was told it will take about two months for the refund to go back to my credit card. It has been two years and counting and I have contacted Cheapoair about once a month since and all I get is we are working on it.

This is no longer unacceptable, I am sure they are trying to steal my money... and will leave no stones unturned to recover my money... let this be a lesson to them... that people work hard for their money and it should be returned. See response below from Ripoffair

CheapOair Charge in seats

I requested a change of seats in Avianca flight Res. No. [protected] (Sal-Mex-Sal). August 10th

CheapoAir charges $27.90 and we have no idea why as it directed me to Avianca and they charged $16.00 per seat, 4 times! I mean Avianca duplicated the amount published per the seats but also you charged extra.

I have chatted with your agents without any results, also sent email to an address they gave me.

URGENT ATTENTION!

CheapOair refund my money

I booked 3 tickets for July 07, 2022, and 3 tickets for Aug 12, 2022, by Turkish Airlines from the Cheapoair website, and to keep my seat numbers, I paid $324 more as the "paid seat".

The night before the flight I found out the seat numbers all got reset and disappeared; so I called Cheapoair and they informed me that the "Turkish Airline" has changed the flight and that's why all of the seat reservations is canceled. I asked them to refund my money and they just answered me that it's not their responsibility and I have to call the Turkish Airline.

So, I called Turkish Airlines and they informed me that Cheapoair is responsible for this refund; after I insisted more they just referred me to leave feedback on their website to get a response and maybe my refund!

Long story short, the Turkish Airline closed my request without any response and Cheapoair never accept the responsibility. My money never refunds to me and I don't know what should I do?

During the call to Cheapoair and also the Turkish airline, they responded to me with different comments and also some fake responses; they just transferred and shoot me from one representative to the other. Nobody cares, they just wanted to pass me to the other person!

For this reason, I have decided to file a claim against "Cheapoair" and "Turkish Airline" here and I ask you please help me to get my money back.

CheapOair Refund

CheapAir is a fraud. They are stealing people's money. I will file a complaint to report about thier scams. They need to be investigated. I bought a ticket a month ago and decided to cancel the trip. Not only they charge me for cancelling the trip but they never refunded me the money as promised over the phone. Every time i tried to call to explain the situation, they hang up the phone on me. Please don't use this agency CheapAIr to book for anything. They are thieves.

They’ve hung up on me 5 times today already after a combined many hours on hold. Trying to redeem an American Airlines credit. I’ll be filing a complaint because this feels like a systemic level strategy to avoid customers getting their credits honoured. Plus, I get different explanations of the rules governing rebooking using a credir, depending on who I get through to. Infuriating. They charge you a fee to cancel and then a fee to rebook. Double-dipping ir what?!

CheapOair You have no active toll fee number therefore I want to be compensated for my phone bill for having to call you

Please compensate me for my phone bill from calling from canada To your NYC number. Whenever you change/cancel my tickeT, your email will say to call you. But your toll fee number will ask us to call the NYC number. And also, you agents never called me back. Now my phone bill is $333 cad please compensate me for this incovenience. CheapOair Refund for canceled flight

Cheapoair uses corporate card to process payments, I booked a flight on 8/11/22 confirmed HL376X and had to cancel because i wanted to change the return date. Spirit airlines

record shows that they only charged $110.58 for this reservation, and it was refunded to the Mastercard ending in 4121 on August 11, 2022.

My reservation was booked through Cheapoair with card ending 3584. I was told by Spirit airlines and United airlines a refund was credited to a credit card that I don't own 4121..I was told to reach out to cheapoair as they are the ones responsible for refunding my funds

CheapOair Name correction on ticket

I purchased a ticket from Harare to Dallas tx for my mom. My mom went through a divorce and when purchasing I used her maiden name instead of her married name. I later found out the us visa is in her passport with married name. I called cheap air and it’s been a week they told me to go to the airline. I reached out to the airline and they advised cheapoair would have to make the change. I am at risk of losing $1851 I paid for the ticket. I am not trying to transfer the ticket to someone else. I am just trying to change my mother’s last name on the ticket so she can travel on September 4th. The staff just keep reading a script ticket cannot be transferred or changed. I have been told a supervisor has reached out to the airline and have not heard back. I was even prepared to pay a penalty to change the name.

Desired outcome: I am not asking for a refund. I am just asking to have the name corrected that’s all.

i bought 3 tickets for Philippine Airlines last January 2020 before pandemic for June 2020 to Manila Philippines. Unfortunately, pandemic came. I called cheapoair.com asking them the status of our booking. Customer service said "no problem just call us when you are ready and we will rebook it." I cancelled our hotels and there was no problem... Months passed by I called again late 2020... same answer ...whenever you are ready we will rebook it"... I called twice in 2021... same answer ... but, when I called January 2022 if I am not mistaken, the answer of cheapoair was ... "call

Philippine Airlines and ask them the status of your flight... so I called PAL ... they referred me back to cheapoair cause they said thats where I bought my tickets and have all my information... calling back and forth which gave me stress... stress is big NO to my health cause I am a stroke patient right side paralysis... then I called in July 2022 a customer rep answered and he said his name is Vincenzo ... he made a 3 way call to Philippine Airlines... to verify that PAL had no record of the tickets we bought... cheapoair told me as of this time the 3 tickets are forfeited and cannot be rebooked.

CheapOair changing flight schedule

i booked a flight through cheapoair 3 monthes ago.i got a mail from them regarding flight schedule change that comes with change in date ,time and a lot of layover.i couldnt accept that.i requested for another flight.but they didnt help mme.they said i have to go for refund.i dont need arefund.what i need is another similar booking with less layover.i tried to talk to them for the last 7 days.agents are not trained well to help the customers.if the flight is changing shedule its not my fault.then why should i suffer.its so inconvenient .i need a better option.i paid for travel protection still no use.i wasted my money

I have been trying to get my refund for over two years now. I provided all of the emails and have spoken to several supervisors and representatives at cheapoair.

Tickets purchased-January 27, 2020

$770.50 USD plus a cancel fee from cheapoair of USD$70 that should also be refunded because I did not cancel this trip as you will see from the information board that was posted on their website at that time. See below.

Information on our flight schedule*

Air Caraïbes offers regular transatlantic flights between Paris Orly 4 and its "core network" destinations: Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France and Cayenne.

As of 17/10/2020, our company will offer 2 flights per week between Paris Orly 4 and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic):

- 1 direct return flight on Saturdays.

- 1 flight on Monday, with a stopover in Port-au-Prince on the outward journey and direct on the return.

As of 26/10/2020, 1 flight per week will be operated on Monday between Paris Orly 4 and Port-au-Prince (Haiti), direct outbound and with a stopover in Punta Cana on the return trip.

The resumption of our services between Paris Orly 4 Havana and Santiago de Cuba (Cuba) is postponed to February 10, 2021 on the occasion of the beginning of the winter school vacations in Zone C in France.

In view of the current constraints and restrictions still imposed on travel to and from our other transatlantic destinations :

- For Saint Martin Princess Juliana (partly Dutch), the resumption of this service will not take place before mid-December.

- Transatlantic flights between Paris Orly 4 and Santo Domingo have been postponed to mid-February.

On the regional network, Air Caraïbes also operates its inter-island flights (Pointe-à-Pitre Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre Saint-Martin Grand Case). These routes are operated by a recent fleet of ATR 72-600s.

*All these provisions will be applied in compliance with the decisions taken by the government authorities to comply strictly with the sanitary measures established on the national territory and in the overseas departments.

This is just a game that cheapoair is playing. I received the same response a year ago.

I have proved that the flight was canceled by the airline and yet cheapoair refuses to refund my money and the bogus cancel fee. I see that I am going to have to get either a lawyer or the news involved. This is ridiculous and there is a law stating that if a customer request a refund, it is to be granted. Why is this so hard for cheapoair to adhere to?

CheapOair Rude representative of CheapOair with low communication skills

Today I received two messages that I should call your phone number to confirm some changes made to the itinerary of my trip to the UK. My call was answered by a representative with perfect English and escalated the call to the financial area to verify the payment details I had made, at 12:50 Central hour in the United States, I was answered by one of your staff (with a Hindi accent) who I could not even understand his name, he asked me sensitive questions about my credit card but as it was quite difficult to understand him I made him repeat the question several times, and this person started to yell at me, so I asked him 5 times to transfer the call to a representative who speaks good English because what he was asking me is sensitive information and I must provide it correctly and be sure to understand very well what would happen next. This person delayed me on the call and kept yelling until he transferred the call to a representative in Spanish, with whom things worked out better. Please for your customers to have a better experience when we call your call center, I suggest the Spanish option and please do not hire people who do not control their frustrations and have poor anger management, and worse yet have a very low level of English or do not know how to neutralize their accents and are difficult to understand.

CheapOair Car Rental

I purchased a trip with Cheapoair on May 7, 2022 to Cancun, Mexico. My trip was set for a flight and car rental on (7/18/22-7/22/22). Upon arriving in Cancun, I went to the car rental company Mex Rent a Car to pick up the car that I prepaid through CheapOair. When I arrived to the front desk, the front desk clerk told us that they did not accept Discover credit cards. I paid for the car rental with my Discover card. I was not told that this company did not take Discover cards upon pre purchasing the car rental. I have called agents at Cheapoair multiple times and have been hung up on. I contacted Mex Rent a Car and was told that since the payment was made from a third party, they don't get the information on which card I made the

transaction because Cheapoair does not share that with them. It was not my fault that I didn’t know this company did not take Discover credit cards. I would not have paid for this car rental had I known that. I am asking for a refund because I have been charged for a service that I was not able to receive by no fault of my own.

i am requesting a refund, in full (Customer Service Problem Category: Check Refund/Airline Credit status Request Number# 19411, Booking# [protected]) due to the death of my father and the cancellation of the trip by my mother, the ticket traveler. please issue the refund requested upon receipt of this email. i have called your offices numerous times and have been put on hold and have been unable to speak with your offices. thanks.

CheapOair unauthorized credit card charges

I went to cheapoair.com on July 31st 2022 to look for airline fares from Fort Lauderdale FL to Lima Peru, departing October 2nd 2022 coming back on November 5th and I found an airline ticket for $298.99. I though it was a good deal so I went ahead and started to do the booking. I was doing all this on my phone. After I started to do the order process, then I saw different pages diceiving pages like choose your seat that page didn't show there was a charge for certain seats so I picked my seat. Then I picked the cancel for any reason option $35.88. I thought I purchase an airline ticket for $298.99 + the cancel for any reason $35.88 = 333.88. Then, I look an email that said my flight was returning on November 2nd! When I choose November 5th!

I immediately called customer service to cancel and they gave me the round around putting me on hold and then hanging up the call. I called several times until finally someone spoke to me and said I was charged $142 to choose a seat plus they charged an extra $13.95 for seat assignment service fee! Again deceiving, then I asked why the returning flight has been modified? They said that's how it showed and I was going to be charged $50 to change it back to how I originally chose "Nov 5th". The $51.83 was for cancel for any reason $35.88 + insurance$15.95, insurance I didn't choose!

I went to see my online bank checking account and they have taken out of my account: $298.99 Airplane ticket + $142 hidden fee to choose a seat +$13.95 hidden fee + $50 + $51.83 total $556.77!

This people are deceiving and rude fraudulent organization! Be Aware of them!

Desired outcome: I want a refund of the Hidden fee $142 plus the $13,95. Also I want a refund of the $50 I was charged for a returning flight from November 2nd to November 5th when I clearly chose returning on November the 5th 2022.

After filing a prior complaint to this one I received an email from the billing department requesting I call them back indicating the phone number I should call.. Well, I did call back and the person who answered my call asked how can I help you, I proceeded to explain that I received an email from cheapoair billing department asking for me to call back, then this representative transferred me to the billing department which that person who answered asked again how can I help you! I explain again everything from the beginning and that person put me on hold for several minutes then when he came back told me that he needed to transfer me to another department. After a few minutes the representative from that department asked me how can I help you? For the third time I had to explain from the beginning and the call was ended!

They are deceiving and rude!

CheapOair Change of Flight Service with an abusive hidden fee of $653.8

I was abusively overcharged by CheapOair on my recent purchase.

I originally made the booking [protected] for what I was charged a total of $829.2 in three transactions (334.7+439.3+55.20).

For personal reasons, I realized that I needed to change my flight date, and CheapOair offered to change my Itinerary for $26.80, including fare difference, airline penalty, taxes and fees (see attachment: screenshot of confirmation email). I accepted and was charged $26.80 immediately, in addition to the $829.2 that I already paid for my original booking. Everything was fine so far because I was charged the prices that I agreed on the website.

Then, the next day I noticed that CheapOair charged again my bank account, this time they charged $653.80. I tried to contact them multiple times by the Customer Service Chat:

a few agents told me that the $653.80 charge does not exist, that I was not overcharged, that I was only charged the original $829.20 and $26.80 fee that I agreed; they denied that they charged me extra $653.80 even when I was seeing the charge on my bank account.

I also contacted the billing department via email but they have not addressed my problem at all. The only response that I got was an e-mail saying that someone tried to call me but I missed the call. Well, I it would be good if they told me at what time they plan to call me and I will make sure I will answer.
