Bliss Computers Screen

I attempted to purchase a screen for my laptop. The version of screen that I purchased matches the model number of my laptop exactly. This is important info.

This laptop has two different screen options. The pin layout, connector, and motherboard are identical. To note, I've been repairing my own devices for years and I used to be a repair tech for cell phones.

At first I tried eBay. Unfortunately I made the mistake of asking them a question and telling them that I planned to swap my screen on a laptop that came with the other version (which as I mentioned is the exact same, just a different panel technology). They cancelled my order. I showed them a screenshot FROM ASUS, the manufacturer, who confirmed that it was compatible, and they told me it would be a fire hazard. LOL, that's not remotely true.

Finally I told them my model number, and they asked for my specs. Then they blocked me on eBay. I attempted to purchase on their website (since it's cheaper anyway), and they put my order on hold and then called me to say it was cancelled because they "weren't comfortable".

They aren't comfortable shipping a screen that is meant for my laptop? It's unfortunate that this is the only company selling this screen.

The OEM themselves declared it as compatible, Bliss' own website declares it as compatible, and the only reason they are denying my order is because I happened to mention on eBay that I'm swapping the panel.

For more context, I have the Asus X16 3060. This exact laptop has two screen options, the IPS and the Mini LED. Mine happened to ship with the IPS and I wanted to swap it for the Mini LED. Considering there are already other X16s with the Mini LED, I'm surprised they haven't caught on fire. LOL.

I've repaired hundreds of screens over my life (considering it used to be my job). I feel like this was more a personal vendetta against me because of the eBay exchange, and the fact that they blocked me from buying anything at all confirms this.

Desired outcome: Ship the product that I paid for, that is compatible with my PC as confirmed by both their own website and Asus techs, that I need for my PC.

Bliss Computers Incompatible parts and over charges

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They sent you a wrong item, doesn't matter what, even after you confirmed with them the SN and the parts # of the screen before they dispatched... Then when you return it back, you will be surprised that they charge you a restocking and shipping fees. SCAM STAY AWAY

Bliss Computers (Aka east coast lcd) false advertisement / dishonest communication

They outright lie about the products they are selling. They shipped me a completely different brand than advertised. I paid over 60 dollars on shipping charges (both ways). They said they'll pay for the return shipment. Asked me to send the receipt. I did. They didn't pay. I wrote them a million emails, never a response. I called them several times over the course of 3 weeks. They said they processed the the refund. Never got the money. Called again. They said "oh there was a mistake we'll process the refund again", but never got the money. Called again. They said the same lies. Eventually gave up. They are seriously a shameless company.. They go by different names: Bliss computers, Browngranite. They get terrible reviews everywhere (except of course suspicious self reviews). There are serious reasons to believe that all the five stars are from fake accounts they created. Bliss Computers Low price, Good service

I purchased a netbook screen from Bliss. They had by far the lowest price I could find on the product. Even with priority shipping their price was significantly lower than everyone else was charging for the screen alone. Screen arrived very quickly after ordering. Unfortunately the first screen they delivered did not work. They responded quickly to my e-mail informing them of the problem and sent instructions for returning the item for a refund or replacement. I chose a replacement which arrived shortly after I shipped the bad item back. That screen worked perfectly. I would recommend ordering from Bliss as they offer very competitive pricing and obviously stnad behind their products.

I dropped my laptop and the screen was damaged. After downloading the repair manual from Dell.com for my model, I was confident I could repair or replace my LCD. Bliss had the best price online for my model. I drove from NYC to their location and paid cash for the LCD. I brought the screen home to install. The screen worked but was dim. I called and was told to bring it in. I brought it in the following week. They saw that the screen was dim and provided a replacement on the spot. Even providing tools. The second screen worked exactly as expected. Very happy with price and Support. Bliss stand's by their product. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Bliss Computers Faulty LCD screen - will not respond to requests 4 return

We purchased 2 LCD screens. They arrived after a few weeks which was very slow considering we had paid US $55 for fast delivery. Anyway once screen is perfect however the other has a white line right thru the centre of the screen. We have been trying to contact them for over a week - given the time differences between here and the US it is difficult to contact via phone. We have sent a photo and asked for a replacement - so far we have had no response at all! We paid a fair amount of money for this screen and it seems that because we are an overseas client we can be ignored. Surely there must be some consumer laws over there that protect us? We just want a replacement - happy to pay the shipping costs to send it back but would expect the replacement to be sent free of any shipping charges. Would even send it back and just get a straight refund! From what I have read getting any response could be an issue!

Bliss Computers Excellent relationship

After reading a few comments here, I felt it necessary to chime in. I have ordered screens in quantities for about five years. They always arrive well packaged. I have never had a broken one come in. Michelle does a good job matching up compatibility and on the rare occasion I get something that isn't right they are quick to resolve the issue. Recently, I had an odd lcd issue with a Dell Inspiron where screens would work intermittently (backlight issues). The problem turned out to be a slightly different revision of the screen was needed. Bliss took the time to figure out the issue rather than blow me off or return the item. No other screen dealer I buy from could figure it out. They did. I especially like their new website feature that has pictures of many of their screens. It helps quite a bit to order LED LCDS when the connectors are often on different sides of the screen. A+ in my book.

Bliss Computers Bad experiance

I have a bad experience with same company(bliss computer), i purchased from them one LCD for my laptop through eBay on 25 October, 2010, and they send it to me to United Arab Emirates then i found it not same item as explained. so i discussed with them they advice me to send it back and they will send the proper one sent it back to them then up to now still waiting the replacement item, they ignoring my emails and really it is very bad experience.
I don't advice anybody to purchase from then even in single cent.

Bliss Computers Great Service!

We've been buying laptop screens from Bliss Computers for the last 2-3 years and we have nothing but great things to say about them. Their prices are some of the best out there and their customer service is always great and speedy! They always stand behind the products they sell, if for some reason the screen is faulty we never had a problem getting an exchange or a full refund, they are always fair! I've recommended Bliss Computers to many people and will continue doing so, we have nothing but good things to say about them!

I have nothing negative to say about this company. I even had an issue with the screws fom my screen and Dave wrote me right away and said he would mail me some assorted screws.

These people did a wonderful job replacing a screen that had gone bad, it wasn't there fault why it did. I sent it to them and in under 4 days i had a replacement back.. I would buy from them and only again when ever i need a new screen.

My first experience with Bliss was a good one. I received a replacement LCD and it arrived the next day as ordered. Unfortunately there was a small crack in it that wasn't apparent until after I turned it, but a quick call to Bliss resulted in a replacement being shipped out the next business day. Could be that the shipper was at fault but service was delivered and everyone is happy. I service systems and good product support helps me to work more efficiently so I will certainly use Bliss when I need any replacement LCDs.

I have bought a many LCD screens from this company and have found the to be very professional and courteous. I have never had a problem that they went eager to fix immediately. When I think LCD screens they are my first choice. They always have what I need at the price that I want. They come highly recommended by fellow technicians.

Bliss Computers false advertising / misdirection

Advertising on pricegrabber as amazon marketplace seller; Bliss Computers advertised they had "notebooks" for sale on amazon.com in September of 2010.

The sale link went to amazon.com where the laptop ad was replicated. When item was shipped, it was a replacement LCD. Company will refund %80 of sales price but none of shipping either way. Customer is out 20% of payments for restocking fee and all shipping charges (40% of payments). Bliss Computers (East Coast LCD) and AMAZON.COM acknowledged this happened to at least 3 people in September before PriceGrabber and Amazon.com removed the ads. PriceGrabber did not respond to email inquiries.

Below is the ad that ran on Pricegrabber and Amazon.com Marketplace: (notice no mention of replacement LCD screen)

Silly New jersey thief!

Bliss computers begged on their knees to have amazon remove the feedback left for them.

Bliss computers not only refunded the entire amount of purchase but also all of the shipping charges. Amazon made them make good on this claim.

Did you forget to mention the Better Business Bureau complaint too?

Anyone that reads the above ad will see that there is not one mention of a replacement LCD screen.

I've had similar experience with them. They advertised brand new LG screen for a thinkpad x120e, what I got was a completely different brand of screen that didn't work. I lost about 40 dollars and several hours on the phone with them. Stay away at all cost.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Product was effective, but I had to call twenty times just to reach someone and explain to them that I had the wrong screen. Really did not appreciate how rude the woman was who answered the phone or the short replies I got after emailing asking multiple questions and getting a one word reply. Overall it took a month to get the correct screen which is not entirely their fault because I did not read carefully when I bought the first screen., But they were not helpful in anyway throughout the process and did not make it any easier for me.

Where do I start?! From my understanding they are now working as East Coast LCD on Amazon, with a website that has NO contact info at all. I also tried to contact them & it took over 4-5 days to get a response & when I do, I get 2 calls. I get an LCD that was workign then stopped, I thought it was them, but while explaining my situation, they could have sent me to the tech dept to tell me it was MY driver that was not recognizing the new screen after a reboot/format of Win7. Then I would of saved time, money & this hassle, instead they call me nearly 2 weeks after i sent it back & tells me this & says they are going to give me a refund when i said i want the screen, so the tech said fine & hung up. 3 minutes later i get a manager call, asking me to leave feedback on amazon to guarantee, hada hada whatever they want, I said no. Theyd have to wait til AFTER i got my screen back in gd condition & I still wasn't giving them a 5 star, well next thing the manager said you know what, screw your screen & you can f*** Off, I was like what & he goes, Yeah & hung up. Can U say UNPROFESSIONAL? I have now filed a claim with amazon, but Im still upset. Please BEWARE of these people, & make sure you read ALL their 1/5 stars.

Ordered 2 screens and one was defective. It took over 2 weeks to get the replacement after several calls not returned and 2 emails. I got no "Sorry" response or anything. I was looking to use this company to replace a large number of screens that I have. Now I'm giving it a second thought. They have no idea the amount of money that they are going to be loosing out on because of their terrible customer service.

ordered 3 screens all 3 where defective! when you call you get a message that no one is available, they only retrun calls during non-business hours, DO NOT deal with these people!

Hi,

The customer purchased the listing on Amazon which clearly shows that the product being purchased is a LCD screen.

The title mentions clearly that this is LCD screen. Even the image shows that the product is a screen. We do not advertise on pricegrabber.com. All of our listings are automatically pulled from Amazon.com by pricegrabber on their own discretion and thus the accuracy of information on their website is their responsibility.

Customer opened claim on amazon and they did not honor the claim because the listing was clear. Even the feedback was removed by amazon.com. We offered to refund the money but the customer does not want to return the screen. He wants the laptop only. We are in this business since 10 years and have only sold Laptop LCD screens. All of our listings on Amazon are for LCD screens only.

We try our best to list products with as much as information possible, but we cannot educate customer to read properly.

Bliss Computers Bad service

1) I was happy to find a low price screen for my laptop and I ordered it with overnight shipping. It came very fast but the screen did not work, I called right back after few tries someone picked up.And I was told to send the bad screen back and they were going to send another screen overnight, second screen didn't work either.
2)I called days after days, left messages, sent email but no answer I assumed they were in holiday break from Dec 24 to Jan2. When I got someone on the phone I was told someone will call me back, that never happened.
3) I was willing to pay everything if my the LCD screen worked fine. but neitehr of them worked and I returned them both, I was credited for one of them only then I had called again after 25 minutes of calling both of their numbers someone picked up and asked my number to call back. I refused since I know how that works. I got someone right away, she didn't know the whole scoop but finally she said she will refund the whole charges, except my returning shipping cost. Basically I wanted save money myself and give them a business at the same time, but I ended up losing money, please somebody tell me what is my fault if they don't know what part is compatible with my screen?
4)I won't make that mistake again with blisscomputers...

I will never order from Bliss Computers again. I ordered an LCD screen from Bliss according to the exact model number on my original Toshiba LCD screen. Bliss sent me an LCD with a connector that does not fit my original Toshiba inverter. I have left several messages and have called 20+ times per day for a week now. I have not been able to get a hold of anybody. I also wrote a detailed email with pictures and have heard nothing in regards to that either. Their policy says they will refuse any returns without a RMA number. For now I am stuck with a screen that is not compatible. I would recommend purchasing an LCD screen from a reputable online merchant. Stay away from Bliss Computers. It seems as if Bliss Computers is hit or miss. Believe me you do not want to miss with them, you will regret your purchase

i order an lcd from them first one was full of dead pixels the next one did not work at all wrong screen . all i got for my trouble was $60.00 worth shipping charges and no screen

Bliss sends whatever it has laying around without testing the products. Have received my last and final LCD screen from them. They have sent yet another dud. I think the worst thing about it is that they could care less what happens. Plus they do not pay for the return shipping.

We order LCD screen from Bliss regularly. We never, I repeat NEVER had any problems with them. We have been buying from them for about 5 years now. My only complaint is I wish they carried more touch screens.

I finally decided to stop complaining & whining. I put my money where my mouth is.

20 miles from Bliss, I have, my own LCD supply company. We buy a lot of the same parts, but no refurbs or used LCDs. No assuming LCDs are compatible because they look similar. No sending customer return from customer A to customer B.

We also pick up the phone, eBay feedback has us picking the phone up at 11 PM on a weekend at the gym to help a customer through an install they were confused about. rossmannsupply.com

It feels good to give back to the community of people I used to be a part of, stuck with no one locally but bliss & screenaid.

Definitely not a good company at all. I mean, I figure they would send me a "Compatible" screen... meaning that it would work on my laptop. But it didn't. Couldn't even connect it. Not only did they send me a product that was not, as they say, "fully compatible." So, not only is there false advertisement, they ALSO wouldn't pay for return shipping for their mistake... their dishonesty. I have yet to receive my refund from them... but there is a restocking fee because... well... they screwed up. Terrible customer service... terrible product information... and well... terrible all around. Stop giving these people your money... Awful business practices like these should never make anyone a victim.

I have a bad experience with same company(bliss computer), i purchased from them one LCD for my laptop through eBay on 25 October, 2010, and they send it to me to United Arab Emirates then i found it not same item as explained. so i discussed with them they advice me to send it back and they will send the proper one, i sent it back to them then up to now still waiting the replacement item, they ignoring my emails and really it is very bad experience.
I don't advice any body to purchase from then even in single cent.
