The sales representatives at Horizon PWR I been in contact with have been respectful and knowledgeable with the product they are selling!

Very easy to work with and communicate with! *** explained everything very clearly and was very efficient in getting our paper work and contracts in place! Excited for our solar power!

They have came to my house 3 times in a week. They don't care if you have a no solicitation sign. It's labor day and they still came to my house. If I could file a lawsuit against them for harassment I would.

Dishonest & disrespectful door to door sales. Yesterday they came to my door and I politely said I was not interested. Today the salesman brought his boss back and they harassed me and wanted to argue when I asked them to leave. I had to tell then I would call the cops before they left my property.

My system stopped working and hasnt been producing since January. I first called like a month ago to have them come fix it and I have been following up every single week and they just tell me theyll call me back. Seems like they just keep pushing me off and dont wanna come fix the system or something Idk.

Im being harassed by an employee at PWR. I will not hesitate to file a stalking order as well as a lawsuit against you.Monday morning comes the stalking order and then I will contact a lawyer to *** for stalking and harassment! What part of; LEAVE ME THE *** ALONE! Is not clear? I have reported the harassment to ***.

I had solar panels installed on July 5th and it failed the inspection 2 times due to not being grounded right they stated that the would be out to fix the problem on Oct. 6th and Dec. 9th of 2020 and both times they were a no show and I took the days off from work.They said they would be here to fix it on the Dec. 21th 2020 still a no show

I had my solar installed with battery in October. It is now march and my batterys still dont work. I have been paying for an unfinished product for months. Every time I call I get told that no one is there to handle my complaints. I never get updates on if or when someone will be able to help me or when they will get new products to install and replace the faulty products.

I would give negative stars if I could. Worst experience with a business EVER. 7 months after signing they still have not managed to correctly install the panels. I have practically had to step in as the *** as these guys are an unorganized mess and completely incompetent. They tried to install 2 less panels than the plan set showed, and then when they finally came back to install them they put them on the wrong slope. Anchors not correctly installed. And just slow slow slow. I am extremely tolerant but I have never experienced anything like this. Avoid these guys.

They are aggressive with their tactics and won't leave us alone. They have their salesmen scouring our neighborhood for the last week. Half of the houses have "No Soliciting" signs on our door, but they ignore it and ring the doorbell anyways. One of their salesmen even acknowledged the sign on my door then proceeded to tell me he wasn't soliciting anything before going into his sales pitch. Several people in the neighborhood have told them to leave and yet they keep coming back. We've talked about calling police next time because at this point it's basically harassment. Even when I do go solar, I will not go with this company.

These people have been in our neighborhood for over a week. They have been to our house FOUR TIMES to try and sell us a system and we have told them we are not interested and to stop coming to our door. Our subdivision's *** page is filled with neighbors complaining about them. They have been to other neighbors, who have no soliciting signs in plain sight multiple times as well, telling them that "they are not soliciting" before attempting to sell them solar. One of our neighbors caught them on her camera. You could see him look at her no soliciting sign and attempt to open her screen door before reaching for the doorbell. He immediately said "I see you have a no soliciting sign... But I'm not soliciting..." before she slammed the door in his face. These people are ruthless, annoying and don't care about common courtesy.

I spoke with the representative of the company. I had some misgivings because I never saw a vehicle or business card and sensed certain pressuring from the salesman. Nevertheless, since the risk seemed low, I proceeded with the 30 minute appointment so that they could "show us some numbers".They were over 10 minutes late to the appointment. I figured they weren't coming. Anyway, I let them in for the appointment. We were polite, and asked them to get to the point. Instead of doing that, they used several high pressure sales tactics, including: trying to get me to commit to do business with them if I liked the numbers before showing me anything. They implied that their time was valuable, and that if we didn't want to listen, they had other customers to attend to. When reminded that we were asking was for them just to get to the point, they became indignant, and threatened to leave in order to manipulate us. We didn't object to their leaving, if that's what they wanted. We had been polite, if direct, the whole time, To sum up, Given the poor door-to-door practices, their high pressure sales tactics and other actions as the appointment, and their unwillingness to exchange information or leave information behind, these folks seem like, if not an outright scam, a bad company that does not care about customers.

A sales rep from Horizon PWR came to my door today. I asked him where his car was, he said he parked at the end of the road and was walking door to door. He was pushy and un professional at times during our conversation. He wasn't very clear about who he was and what he was doing. He asked to look at my power *** and I showed it to him. He asked when my husband would be home so that he could go over the numbers with us both. We arranged a time for him to come back. Just before he was leaving I asked for his name, I think he said ***. After he left I felt sick about the situation. He didn't give me his business card or a handout of the program, no information was given to me and yet he looked at my power ***, took down my name and number. I looked the company up online and thankfully it is a legit company but I see now that they are not a good company. But I did call to complain about the customer service of this sales rep and how he didn't even leave me a business card. The woman stated that what he did was normal. She gave me so much attitude. She asked for my name, I told her my first name. She said she would cancel my appointment with him and I asked if she needed any more info in order to cancel and she said no. But I wanted to ensure she canceled this appointment. All she did was give me attitude and finally without me saying my last name she said my full name and that the appointment would be canceled. I was so upset after talking to her and I am so thankful that I canceled the appointment and Zach will not be coming into my home. What a horrible company!

A door to door salesperson did not respect a no soliciting sign, even going so far as to say that's part of why he stopped. Its obviously worked into his script. The primary speaker also seems to be training someone with this script.

We had them install a solar system on our house the first year everything worked out okay. Feb *** about a solution. Now the system has completely stopped working and so has all communication from said company at all

I was given a 2000 dollar cancellation fee after denying the loan and interest rate for said project. I had interest in getting solar panels and wanted a quote. The representative broke my attic access and never mentioned any sort of cancellation fee. I was told the fee was due to costs in setting up the installation however I have email proof of withdrawing the load request before anything could be started

Horizon power installed solar with the promise of producing 151% of my needed electricity. They sold me on this having only seen one power *** after moving into my house and it has now become apparent, a year later that they did not accurately calculate my energy needs. I contacted them and they want me to pay for additional panels and a new inverter but they are the ones that made an error and I used one time financing for the initial purchase that I cannot add to. I want my system sized appropriately, on them.

I purchased a solar system that Horizon pwr installed with in a years time I started experiencing a production issue with a solar panel. they have be contacted numerous time to fix it. the person on the phone keeps saying they are looking into it and will call back but do not. they have been by to replace components but either the issue become worst or not fixed at all. I'm truly getting very frustrated with the appearance of the lack of concern about assisting their costumers. *** is the current project manager I'm dealing with. with no resolution or information on a fix to my $40,000 + system

- Branch Manager. This person helped me sign up for solar and get a loan approval. I received loan documents the next day to which I said I would like to cancel. They would not cancel and assured me they would correct the documents and resend. They corrected them and I reviewed them to which I asked them to cancel again. It wasnt until a week later that I received an email stating that I had $1,367.50 in cancellation fees. I was never told I had to pay any money or that I needed to cancel within 3 days yet I did cancel within the 3 days. I even had their employee vouch for this. I dont know where to go from here.

We requested to get a quote for Solar from horizonpwr and they came in with the wrong house listed on their paperwork with one promise, then had to re-do the paperwork and the quote for power return was much less than the first. Then they had a "contract" to get an engineering quote for $99. We initially paid this, but then in less than 12 hrs, decided that we weren't going to move forward, so no steps were taken for anything. We were also denied financing for the project and they came back with we were approved through some other loan app process, so the $99 would not be refunded. I can understand no refund, if we were funded for this or if they had actually came and done the initial pictures and engineering report but they did nothing.

Salesman come by approximately every 4-6 months and continue to try and talk about the benefits of solar panels because my neighbor has purchased some. The ignore the visible no soliciting sign because they are not selling anything. They have marked my address several times in the past as not interested, yet they continue to stop by. I asked if the salesman noticed the no soliciting sign and he tells me that he did notice it, he is not selling anything. He just wants to talk about solar so they can set up an appointment to sell solar. panels. I asked if he had his sales license and he said it was in his car. I asked if he had a sales license with Jefferson County per the county ordinance and he said he did not. I was told again for the third time that they would make a note that this address is not interested in the product they are not selling.

We were considering on solar panels for our home and Preston, the sales persons, came to explained the systems and we told him we wanted to do some more research, he told us he needed it to collect some info from us and signatures so, his company will check if we qualify for the solar system, unfortunately, we trust him and signed. He never explained that was the contract and he didn't explained that there was a $2,000.00 cancelation fee. We'd planed a last meeting with Preston to make our final decision whether we go solar or not for June 19,2020. We weren't ready to take the decision then, so, I texted him canceling that appointment and mention that we wanted to wait a month or so and we get back to him. He responded that it was fine and never hear from him again until September 9th we got and invoice from 2,000 cancelation fee from Horizon PWR. We contact the company explained that we never signed a contract but we believed that he pushed the situation and we don't think is right and fear that we have now to pay cancelation fee when we didn't agreed with installation.

On Monday, November 1st, an individual came from Horizon PWR to our house to go over the benefits of having solar panels added to our house. We told this individual, whose name is *** that we weren't sure we would be able to do it because my job might not be stable. He went ahead and did an assessment of the feasibility of putting panels on our roof, and before we knew it he was getting us pre-approved for a loan, telling us it was "just in case" we decided to go solar. After being approved, he went straight into the phase of getting us approved for a loan, which meant we had to put *** down. We asked two different times if we ended up not going with his company if the *** would refunded, and he told us in no uncertain terms that it would be. My wife, our adult daughter, and I were all witnesses to this. When we ended up choosing not to go with solar, we called the company to cancel, as we had been told to do. The receptionist told us on the phone that the *** would be returned to the card. The following day she emailed to say that we would not be getting a refund for the *** because the assessment had "already been done", which was the opposite of what we had asked and had been confirmed to all three of us two times--that we would have a refund IN FULL.

I contacted horizonPWR & spoke to *** & asked about my federal tax credit. He informed me that I had to go through my tax preparer. I spoke to my tax *** stated that there isn't anything she can do without the proper paperwork. *** was incorrect. Then I spoke with *** at Energy Trust of *** said that horizonPWR didn't contact them to inform them that solar panels would be installed. Before I can be issued a federal tax credit then horizonPWR needed to inform Energy Trust of the panels but since they didn't then I'm not entitled to the return. I called *** at horizonPWR who is in charge & he did play phone tag but hasn't returned my call since. horizonPWR states that this should produce an estimated *** kilo-watt hours in power in 1 year but from 5/12 to 2/11/22 I have only produced *** kilo-watt hours in power. I contacted horizonPWR on 2/7/22 to inform them that I wasn't producing ANY power. I understand that there was snow on the panels for a brief period of time that I didn't clean off but they asked if I noticed a power glitch on 1/31/22 which I didn't. On 2/16/22 they said that no one will come out to look until 3/4/22. I haven't been making any power since at least 2/7/22. I asked if I will be compensated & they said no but the 3/4/22 service will be free. I do have a warranty. Agreement dated 2/26, financed through *** for $18,349.00 (after rebate) & OR Contractor # ***.

This company showed up on our door to talk to us about solar panels. We thought we would get information from them to see what all it entailed. In order to get a quote, they made us sign paperwork and a loan application to get the process going. We didn't think anything of it at that point. We thought they were just collecting information to give us an accurate quote/interest rate. We never told them we for sure wanted to do it, but they put us on the schedule for installation anyway on the same day we signed the papers, prior to loan approval. Being self employed, we have a hard time acquiring loans, and we told the salesmen this. They told us to at least try, which we did. As anticipated, the loan did not get approved. According to the company, we weren't denied the loan, they just needed more information. This is ridiculous as we gave them our tax returns for us and our businesses. We had no additional information to give them that would change the outcome. One of the salesmen showed up unannounced to try to get more information from us. We didn't have the information at home and told him we weren't sure we wanted to get them anyway (keep in mind, we still were not approved for the $40K loan). They called today and we told them we didn't want them. We then received a "restocking fee" invoice for nearly $2000. We weren't approved for the loan, we never told them we wanted the solar panels, so if they decided to order them, that is their problem. We didn't know about a restocking fee and thought the papers we signed were just to get an accurate idea of what the payment would be and find out if we were even approved for the loan in the first place.

On January 30 a salesman for Horizon PWR came to our home at our request. We had always been interested in solar power and thought that we really wanted it and we actually still do. He told us the price of the system would be $52,000. We thought that sounded pretty expensive, but he told us that we would get a $13,500 federal rebate, he'd add in the tree cutting, which would give us more back, and help us with $3,000 to fix our kitchen floor. It looked to us like it would bring the bill to over $30,000 from what he showed us which seemed a little more reasonable to us not knowing much about anything. We decided to see if we would qualify for financing. We gave him our SS#s and he checked our credit score. We were ready to see if we could get it and he said we should schedule the install time. We did this and started filling out papers I thought was for the loan. In the papers I initialed which both my wife and I never saw was a 3 day cancelation or a 5% fee, that he never mentioned once, and a $99 fee for him being there. On Feb. 3 they contacted my wife and send they had made a mistake on the loan and it was now $52,801.00. We called another company just to check if the price was reasonable. They said that for the size of our house we would pay between $26,000-$28,000 for more panels than Horizon was suggesting. We went back and looked closer on the loan because they seemed really pushy to have us sign the new loan papers. They had put the whole amount of interest of a 21 year loan onto the front of the loan, which is why it was so expensive. On the 10th I messaged to cancel the loan and I thought the purchase too because they are related companies. After doing our taxes on Feb. 15th, 2021 *** told us we would not receive that much of a rebate. It would only be on the price of the system. I was glad I canceled because the salesman had told a falsehood. We then got a call from Horizon PWR on the 16th about the install. I told them I had canceled and didn't want it. She said she would call me back and she did. Without asking us what happened or what was wrong or even seeing if they could save the sale, because I told her we still wanted solar power, she said you're going to owe us a 5% restocking fee that I had signed. My wife never signed it and never saw it. I asked how much that was and she said $2,640.50. I told them I would not pay that, and that I had been lied to by Mr. G about the rebate amount, and that he never mentioned the 5% restocking fee when we set the date for the install. I messaged them to send me an itemized list of what the charges and the total cost of their system. This was 4 days ago. They sent me a long list of technical papers but not a total for they system. If the restocking fee is what he said then the total cost is around $52,801.00 which is the same amount as the bank loan. I'll admit that I got a little awestruck at the sales pitch but we do not feel we waited an unreasonable amount of time to cancel the loan and what we thought was canceling the install. I asked them why they would start building something before funding came through and that it wasn't right. I said you don't get to move into a house or drive off in a car before you're approved for a loan so why would they start building before financing was finished and approved? They threatened to turn us into collections.
