Better Homes and Gardens / 300 count sheet set

1 Cypress, TX, United States Review updated:

I purchased a set of ivory sheets from Walmart about 6 months ago. I went back today to purchase the exact same set but when I got home and opened them realized they are nothing alike. They are different colors and not made the same at all. On my older set the fitted sheet has thick elastic on the corners to hold it in place and in the new set it's just regular. They both say 100% cotton but they feel totally different. On the older set it has a satin border on the flat sheet and pillow cases new set is just plain. I am very disappointed because I have a 400 count sheet set that feel the same as these and the whole reason I went to get a set like the others because I don't like the feel of them. The lighter ones in the pictures is the older set.

I just returned my 300 count sheet set. I washed it on delicate warm water and upon placing the fitted sheet on the bed, there was a 1 inch rip. The fabric did not hold up. The sheets were fine when placing in washer (which is a GE fairly new machine) Luckily I still had the receipt and Walmart exchanged the set for me. I chose not to purchase another 300 count but tried the 400 count and paid additional $11 for a total of $57.00. There is not a rip and hopefully these will hold up. I am very disappointed
