Complaining to district managers doesn't change the behavior in this store. One even admitted that he was powerless to stop bad behavior in the store by his employees. One particular employee uses vulgar language including the "F" word that you can hear all over the store. If you try to complain about her, she then pulls out her personal cell phone and starts recording you. Then if you call a district manager, and later try to do business in the store, she refuses to ring ring up your purchase or wait on you because you complained about her. The in-store manager then backs her up and does nothing to stop the bad behavior, even when the manager hears her employees shouting down a customer while making a complaint. A review by cameras in the store along with hearing what is being said is necessary by the owner of this store to see how bad this is. The last incident was Dec 26, 2017 at about 11:45- 11:55 am. The manager seems powerless over these employees and doesn't appear to have any customer service and courtesy skills whatsoever.

The price on the highway marker is always less than the price at the pump. I've been there numerous times and it's always the same. I am a regular Citgo customer and this place gives Citgo a bad reputation. I've tested this on numerous occasions. I check the price on the road marker and then go to the pumps. It's always different. I assumed the manager would get the message in that I did not purchase any gas. I believe the low prices on the roar marker is a scam to get customers to the pump. First couple of times I didn't notice the price difference.

93 gas shooting out disel gas. On september. 23, 2016 my husband put 40 dollars in our 2015 chevolet impala soon as he left the station our car started smoking black smoke and cutting off when my husband went back up there not even 20 mins. Later they had signs stating only regular gas. Hubby told one of the clerks and ask could he have a reciept they said no. So on monday september 26, 2016 at 5:30 am my hubby was leaving for work and tried to start the car and it did nothing so we had it towed to the chevolet dealership and they just contacted us and informed us of the horrible news. Now we will be out of pocket for 1790. I haven't had my car for 3 months

I am a citgo business owner in russellville, alabama! In 2013, people from sunstate oil came to us to put a brand name on our unbranded gas station. We agreed because they sounded so nice, and confident. We signed contracts without readinh carefully! That is our mistake. anytime we had a problem they were so rude. They charge so much. 100 dollars for something, 75 for something 600 year for help line, etc etc! Business got slow so we couldnt pay there gas payment on time. And asked for more time. After few months had this paid paid. They promised us they will send gas. Now they want COD shipping first. They are so rude and harsh. I have all the proofs against them. I dont know what to do. I am sitting here withou any gas. Business is dead. I am trying so hard to contact the president of citgo. He can give me a solution. There are so many problems going on. Its hard to explain. Mr. Kapaddia and rick blow and rusty murray are the worse partners i ever had in my life. They say something else and do something else. I wish i never signed those contract papers.

The attendant was very rude to me. I had tried to get coffee out of the urn under the brewer because all the others were empty. I noticed that it was empty, too, so I walked away. When I got in line, Denise was over at the urn cursing and saying she wished people would learn how to leave things alone. I apologized then, explaining I just wanted coffee. Then after watching her angrily ring up the other customers in line, my turn came. I apologized again although I was really upset with the way she was acting. I told her that I knew she was busy so I didn't want to stop her if the urn was full, but just needed to be moved. She didn't say anything except for my total. She refused to put my purchases in a bag. Then when I walked away, she muttered under her breath, "You should learn to leave ### alone". I was at the door by this point, and turned around saying, "Are you serious?" She said, "Yeah, whatever." and then continued to ring up the next person. This was the start to my work day. I will NEVER go to this store or any Citgo again until this woman loses her job. I have two jobs, one in the restaurant business, so I know people can do really annoying and unthoughtful things, but there is absolutely no reason to treat anyone, let alone a customer, like this, especially after I sincerely apologized.

Please, if she is this unhappy with her job, then take it away from her.

Woman was using abusive vulgarities in front of children and told me to go f*** myself and get the f*** out of her store. I asked why she was speaking to me this way and she said she had no tolerance for "known it all honey crackers!"
I was absolutely appalled and would like to know what is being done about this. It happened at the citgo on 51st and Pulaski at 5:40 pm. And to add insult to injury she said go ahead and file a complaint. They aren't gonna fire me. I couldn't believe the vulgar and racial things from this womans mouth. My daughter has been working for Citgo for over a year now. Her manager has been spoken to several times by upper management concerning texting her on her free time over trivial incidents or mistakes made on her earlier shift. Last night, my nineteen year old came home at midnight and was in bed asleep by one. At four am her phone texting started to go off! It was this idiotic manager of hers berating her over sandwiches not put in the freezer. She woke up and angry, they argued for a while. This man should be disciplined for harassment of employees after shift! Please advise.

July 7th 2012 I went to the citgo on E25th and Post rd. already on E I put 1 dollar in my car just to make it down the street. Then around 12 midnight put another 3 dollars in the tank the same pump, pump 10 then on the highway I go 3 min. later car engine light comes on and car shuts down had to get it towed off the highway. The dealership told me bad gas nothing but water. I advise do not go here I spent over 700 to get my car fix the company will not help and will not talk to you and admit the problem. So I will sue the company. DO NOT GO THERE!

Second shift clerk refused to exchange a faulty propane tank. He instead decided to school me on BBQ valves and how they work. I went to the shell station across the street and was treated as a valued customer. I will be never spent a dime at citgo again.

I went to this gas staion and told the mechanic that I needed to know if he can replace (1) a single license plate bulb that I had already purchased. This guy says sure just give him a few minutes and my car will be ready. I had waited for about 20 minutes, and the guy says it will be $45.00. I said, "$45.00! This is ridiculous!" "for one bulb!" "I had already bought the bulb, what did you do for $45.00?!" this mechanic starts to hush me and then he says alright $35.00. So for anyone who needs a mechanic because your car broke down, or whether it's major or minor problems, don't go here to this place. Just walk to another place further down or up the road. Next time I will walk if I have to. I will avoid paying any red cent to this company at all cost ever again. If you must go here you will get jipped out of all your money. Even their gas is higher than all the other stations in the area.

Standing in 15-degree weather, I got authorized to pump gas -- pump handle broken, it took me fifteen minutes for two gallons to be dispensed into my tank. Ridiculous. I complained inside -- it was freezing, couldn't lock the handle to auto-pump, absurdly slow fuel rate -- and the employee laughed and said, "yeah, yeah, yeah -- we've had a problem on that pump for years!" Never again. See ya Citgo!

This evening I stopped off at a neighborhood CITGO to fill up my tank. While washing the windows, there was no automatic stop on the flow of gas when the tank filled. About $3 worth of gas spilled onto the concrete before I could shut off the flow. When I informed the attendant, he told me I must have put the nozzle in incorrectly. Period. No discussion. No apology. It was my fault. I said you could at least put a sign up for the next unsuspecting customer. He would think about it. When I went back out to the car to get my receipt, I found none. That didn't work, either. I needed to go back inside to get the receipt.

To say the least I am disappointed with his response. I understand I am not forced to bring my business back to that establishment, or any other CITGO's. I thought you would want to know about the customer service I experienced. The gas puddle by the pump is a fire hazard. The manager, Nome, refused to return my call.

I was there on monday labor day at around 9:00pm, After pumping my gas My car starting smoking, spitting sputtering, then stalled out. I had it towed to the shop and there was a tank of deisel not gas, I contacted the owner, which is Mr.Patel and he called me a liar right after he remembered me being there and also remembered what pump, amount of gas. So buyer beware don't buy gas from this station. It will trash your car...

I filled my car with gas at a CITGO station just outside of Orlando FL and since I had no cash I paid with my credit card. I found out a couple of days later that my credit card was cloned as someone else was making unauthorized purchases with it. I had to cancel my credit card and have a new one reissued. A total pain.

At the end of August 2009, I was driving my Honda on Oklahoma and went to a CITGO gas station to replenish my car's fuel. The next day, I had trouble turning on the car. After having to tow it to the Honda car service for having it checked / fixed by the mechanics in there, it turned out that most of the gasoline I got from CITGO had high amounts of water and that is what caused all the trouble. CITGO provides bad fuel so beware of it.

Some days ago I fueled at a CITGO station. When I came to pay, there was nobody available at the cashier. Then some woman reluctantly came and I gave her a $20 bill, but I meant to pay $6. She then began saying she could not give me back the other $14 and we had kind of an argument in there for some five minutes. I finally grabbed my money and went to fuel elsewhere. CITGO offers bad service.

Well in CITGO Gas Station in Tampa 2946 E. Fletcher Ave. & Bruce B. Down The Idiot that Work in there I don't know if is an Indian or Arabic or what but I toll him that I want $60.00 of fuel, the Idiot place just $30.00 in my credit card, when I get back to him and toll him That I said 60 and not 30 he said that he can make just one transaction in my card, I ask him why.? and of corse because he is an IDIOT didn't have an answer, I told him ok If I want to by something eles you are telling me that I can use my credit card again..? and the stupid Arabic guy said NO, so I said to him "that is ridiculos I think that you are an IDIOT"...

So People that Live in Tampa beware with this gas station that the service is BAD BAD BAD and the credit card machines at the pumps never works... I Think that he just didn't want to sold me the gas I think, because you can use your credit card any time you want...

Purhcased gas for new Chevy, drove short distance and car totally died. Had it towed to dealer, found out contaminated gas caused the problem. NOT covered by insurance so went back and attempted to discuss the issue (with my receipt) with the person in the station whom I had seen before so either Manger or owner. He was hostile and aggressive, verbally abusive but did give me the insurance company name that insurs his station. Bottom line I am out $1112.00 dollars and rental car fees. CITGO insurer, Farm Bureau Insurance, is playing hardball claiming error on my part even though I have purchased gas in the past. Friend at SUNOCO claims that certain gas station owners have long histories of not filtering the gas at the pump and problems with underground storage tanks and using additives to stretch the amount of gas in the underground tank. Small claims court is next. DO NOT purchase gas at this station. Use stations ran and operated by US born citizens ONLY. Thank you.
